Staff is very friendly. Facilities have always been clean and tidy every time I've been there. Lots of options as far as gym equipment. Hot tub and pools are always clean. Sauna is awesome (my fiance and I did a renovation on it earlier about 7 months ago so I'm a little biased 😃). The memberships are reasonably priced. Overall, a great place!

This was my first time attending this recreation center. The second I walked in asking to pay to use their indoor track at 8pm, the first thing they say to me is “you do know we close at 9 right?” I said “okay I shouldn’t take longer than an hour.” By the time I was winding down from my workout a staff member came up to me at 8:47pm and asked if I was done with equipment (which I never touched because I was running). I said “no I just have strides to do and I’m done, which shouldn’t take me more than 5 minutes.” He said I was okay since they didn’t close till 9. Well, come 8:52 pm I am performing my last stride (I’m sprinting kind of for those that don’t know what strides are) and they turn off all the lights of the room I’m in, leaving me sprinting in the dark, which is incredibly dangerous. Your evening staff are rude and not only that, but incredibly unsafe for turning the lights off on someone who is still sprinting. I had 8 minutes left until closing. This was unacceptable.

One of the best deals of a gym + pool you’ll find in Little Rock and it doesn’t require a contract! For $25 a month (or $20 if you set up auto pay), you get access to a gym with a huge amount of cardio machines, free weights, and weight machines plus access to the pool for lap swimming. It can get a little busy depending on the time of day, but never too bad. People are friendly here too and it’s a great diverse crowd

Love the facilities and classes offered, but Ms. Brenda at the check out desk is so unpleasant 90% of my interactions with her. As someone who works in the public and lives by the standard of customer service, she leaves such an unpleasant spirit of funk that needs to be worked out even after a great workout. People who are the first point of contact with an organization, should bare minimum be cordial. I hate that her misery can't be hid while she is working.

I use the outdoor pool daily (weather permitting) and it is one of the highlights of my day. The indoor pool is currently under renovation. The building is old and there have been issues with repair but it is still a great fitness center. FYI the demographics do skew older!

I took my son to this pool for the first time today and was more than disappointed.

The water was warm and dirty with dead bugs and leaves, the umbrellas weren’t attached to the tables and kept flying off if a breeze picked up, the lifeguards seemed to be making up militant rules out of the blue, and I got a chlorine rash on my arm which has never happened before.
We left after 45 minutes.

Mrs Frida works the front and is very nice and encouraging. This gym has alot of options for cardio.

All their classes are included in their $35 monthly membership. They even have a Sauna.

I will never have a birthday party here again. Parents please use The Splash Zone in Jacksonville for your pool parties….They are always fully functional and cheaper.

Jim Dailey was a complete joke. They didn’t honor the things they said they would for our kids birthday party. The young people that work there were very rude to our family and guests and basically were also following the instruction of their leader so the leader is at fault for having the younger people do their dirty work.

The kiddie pool has been out of order for over a year at least. The kids only had small section of the pool they can swim in and it can get very crowded. It’s actually quite disgusting to have so many people piled up in one area like and it’s unsafe.

We were charged $200 for 2 hours. The Splash Zone has 3 kiddie slides and is less expensive. Plus they have night and private birthday party options.

To not go into to much detail… They were desperate for money and the entire community center is just very ghetto. Never again!

The outdoor pool was ridiculous, the only thing you get out of it was an outdoor pool. Lifeguard was watching his cell phone. There was no concession stand but we did sneak food/drinks in with us.
Children's pool does not work.
Water slide into the main big pool does not work.
I called before I went and my questions went unanswered as the city employee did not know anything about this place. If you pay with a debit card you go inside the gym to pay, if you are wanting to pay cash then you walk around to the front of the pool entrance. This made for a very long walk with three kids!!!!
There was a very nice seating area with tables that had umbrellas to sit at but it was closed.
This place is long overdue from its former days of Glory.
Years ago when I went to the fitness center and the indoor pool it was fantastic but today's visit was only for the outdoor pool with little kids.
From my picture I'm sharing you can see we are the only people at this pool.

Do not recommend outside pool for non-swimmers. Half the staff stayed on their phones as life guards (teen life guards). How can you save someone from drowning if you're looking down at your phone? Why do you have your phone anyways? No work ethic what-so-ever!!!

Have been using the center for a couple of weeks.

Pros:
- A good variety of activities, group sports.
- Decent facilities for the court, track, swimming pool, sauna, cardio equipment on the second level is good.
- No hidden, annual fees.

Cons:
- Terribly limited hours. Closing at 8PM on weekdays and even more limited on the weekends makes it extremely difficult to use the center.
- Too hot inside, often extremely steamy, even outside of the pool area.
- Weight training machines/equipment is limited and outdated. Some are not in the best condition. This may be hazardous and increase the likelihood of injury.
- Price is okay, if one opts in for monthly ‘auto-draft’ ($20/mo), VS. regular rate of $25/mo pay as you go.
- Sauna temperature is low (71 F). Should be closer between 80-90 F.
-Locker room facilities are basic, showers are outdated.

Sauna was a big selling point to me but considering the hours and other cons, I don’t think I will be renewing the membership after this trial month.

Just started coming here in 2021, really great so far. Staff are always nice and helpful, but they leave you alone for the most part, which is great. Facilities are clean, things usually get fixed quickly when they break. Computer system for membership is a little clunky but I'm okay with that in a municipal gym, and it's not expensive, especially for indoor pool access. Hope the city gives them more resources for some small upgrades but it's good the way it is.

What a hidden gem! Searched for an aquatic center that also felt like a health club. Imagine my excitement when I found Jim Dailey Fitness Center! What a great place to swim laps or catch a water aerobics class. The fitness equipment is clean, there is an indoor/outdoor pool, classes and a plethora of other options for someone wanting/needing a workout. The place is EXTREMELY affordable, clean and have all the amenities of my favorite health club (Lifetime Fitness). Google if you’re not familiar with the latter. That will tell you all you need to know about how outstanding JDFAC is!

Called in a Friday to find out if the basketball court will be open on Sunday. They said it was going to open 1 to 5pm.
Appeared there on Sunday at 1, and they told us the court was open only from 3 to 5pm, and that it was reserved for badminton until 3. Funny thing was that even though the court was empty and nobody was using it, the manager told us we were not allowed to play basketball. Just great...
