My brother called on Wednesday to schedule a 11/8/25 Saturday am tee time. We are members of another country club locally, but like to play Stonebridge often as itβs a fun track. I arrived early Saturday & when checking in, I was told that a mistake somehow occurred & our tee time was showing Sunday in their system not Saturday. Keep in mind we scheduled this tee time 3 days prior to ensure we had a spot. I get mistakes happen & not upset that it occurred but my issue was/is with how it was handled. The gentleman behind the counter basically said there was nothing he could do about it & not his problem. I am a small business owner myself & was appalled at the lack of empathy or customer service. I felt dismissed & no attempt was made at all to offer any other solution other than for me to leave. My service business has done work for Stonebridge several times in the past but we will no longer be servicing them moving forward. Stonebridge is a beautiful track but I will no longer be playing there & will spread the word to my entire network so other people know this is how they treat paying customers. This could have happened to anyone as it was an honest mistake, but this should have been handled in a better manner. What would you do if this happened to you?? How would you feel ?? Stonebridge didnβt care enough to do anything & now they have lost my business. Please consider playing somewhere else that actually cares about their customers.

There is always some excuse for the range to be closed, whether rain is coming in 2 days, out of balls, our nonsufficient labor. Regardless, extremely poorly managed while enjoying the benefit of being one of the only ranges in town, so poor service must be accepted.

9/14/25 -Stonebridge Meadows in Northwest Arkansas is the best public golf courses. It offers excellent facilities and boasts a knowledgeable, courteous staff. If you need a lesson, the teaching pro, Matt, is outstanding.

Played this course on 7/5/2025. Please disregard the negative comments about management. Stopped by the clubhouse to check in. Jason was very courteous and helpful. He let me use a set of clubs for my 10 yr old at no charge. Bought 4 drinks and Jason pack them in an ice cooler for us. The other club attendant checked on us when he saw us at the 10th hole.
All in all, we had a great time at Stonebridge meadows. Nice, challenging goulf course and clean for the most part. Players need to do their part and pick up after themselves, leaving the course same or better than they found it.

We had a scheduled tee time and arrived at the tee box right on time, but a group had already begun playing ahead of us. This immediately put us about 11 minutes behind. Throughout the round, we kept getting pace-of-play warnings on the screen, which was frustrating since the delay was out of our control. The marshal was constantly hovering and watching, which only added to the pressure and made the experience even more distracting. With no way to make up time due to the group ahead, we ultimately decided to pick up our balls and leave. It just wasnβt worth the hassle.

Played today 6/5/25. Trying to play in all 50 States and this was my Arkansas stop, now have 11 left. Not sure what is available in area but this was not very good. In all my travels to public courses this one is in lower group. Nice enough layout but course condition not so good. Price for Sr. w/ cart very reasonable. Clubs house minimal, food hot dogs and packaged items. Sorry!

Bad management and bad serviceβ¦ donβt know what their problem is. Donβt recommend purely off interaction with them. Courses themselves are very nice though.

At 7,142 yards from the black tees and a course rating of 74.3, Stonebridge Meadows is one of the more difficult courses to play in the area [Slope Rating of 144]. However, from the White tees, the course is more "manageable" to play for most recreational golfers [6,140 yards / 69.8 Rating / 134 Slope].
Overall, I'd easily rate Stonebridge Meadows a 4 on a 1-5 scale.
"Positives"
- Very well-maintained course that is challenging, but fair
- Professional and courteous staff
- Small but well stocked clubhouse
- The range and chipping area are nice
- "Fair" pricing [albeit on the "expensive" side]
"Challenges"
- The range and chipping area are pretty disconnected from the
course [e.g. down the road from the main course]
- One of the "pricier" courses in the area
- Play can sometimes be "slower" than average simply due to the
amount of players on the course on a given day
- For some reason, this course seems to have a material amount
of players who insist upon playing the black tees [and who don't
really have the handicap/ability to play from such tees]
- The course could benefit from an on-course Marshall on days
where heavy play is expected.
Further, I'd suggest that course personnel consider placing signs on Tee#1 relative to playing ability and tee selection. For example, no one should be selecting the black tees that isn't a 10 or better handicap [e.g. "Age" shouldn't be a suggestion for tee box selection as it's more about playing ability IMO]. This would help to "speed" play on days where the course is busy.
Overall, Stonebridge Meadows is a fun and enjoyable course to play and is highly recommended.

In 30 years of playing golf, I have seen a lot of nonsense on the golf course. But nothing compares to being threatened with physical violence by groundskeeping staff. In any normal golf club that values its customers, groundskeepers will make way for players. The same way that players are expected to not obstruct play for others. Apparently it is expected for players to skip entire holes that groundskeepers are servicing. Reading other reviews, this is clearly a theme.
If part of your golf course is not open, this needs to be explicitly stated at the time of booking and reflected with a reduced rate and posted on course. You cannot expect players to know a hole is closed because at literally any other course, when groundskeepers are present, you wait for them to get out of the way, then hit. And even if they do this, stealing the player's ball, making violent threats, and attempting to disrupt play on subsequent holes is completely out of line for an employee and should not be tolerated.
Go some place that values your business and doesn't allow the groundskeepers to behave like complete psychopaths to golfers that interrupt their workflow by doing something like trying to play golf in the middle of the day on a golf course.

In town from Houston area for several days for UofA graduation. Wifey let me bring my clubs, so I played morning of 5/9 (Thurs) & 5/10 (Fri). Storm hit night of 5/8 and knocked several trees down around the course. I saw the crews working to clear the trees for play that morning. I teed off around 08:30 and did not have any issues at all. Obviously the fairways had some water from all the rain but other than that, I really enjoyed the course. I thought the greens were really good even after all the rain. Did notice that a lot of players donβt repair their divot marks though. A few tee boxes are under repair but did not affect the round. Cart GPS yardages were equal to what my rangefinder was showing. Looking forward to my next visit to Fayetteville. Definitely will play Stonebridge Meadow again.

Came in from out of state, made a prepaid group reservation a week in advance. When we got there, half of our reservation wasnβt on the books and they didnβt have any golf clubs to rent. Staff was dry and unconcerned with the issue. Donβt bother with this place.

Incorrect booking (although we had proof of booking and receipt - booked 2 foursomes but they only had 1 on the schedule, despite being charged for both) and lack of available adequate rental clubs forced our group of 8 to waste our time driving here and go elsewhere. Unless they tighten up their operation I would suggest golfing elsewhere.

Visitor from Oklahoma. Played this course on a drizzly rainy Friday. The staff was very friendly. The course is in great shape with beautiful scenery. Front nine you have a few open fairways with tree locations to make it challenging and fun. You also get some great scenic views before you tuck back in the woods. Back nine you play a couple open holes then head in and out of a neighborhood with open fairways. Course was well maintained and the greens were also well kept. I recommend this course if you are in the Fayetteville area, it wonβt disappoint. I will be back for sure.

The most disappointing about this place is the ownership. If you read through the reviews posted, it appears the owner only comments on the positive reviews. Without ownership addressing the negative feedback how do you improve? Maybe they donβt care if the do improve. π€·π»ββοΈ

This course has so much potential as it is one of the most decent courses in the area. However the staff needs a lot of work. In the front everyone has a very dry and uninviting personality. They barely even say hello when you walk in to check in. The maintenance crew makes this place drive me crazy. Itβs a bunch of young kids with hats backward, and headphones on no care about the golfers. Usually the grounds crew work around golfers and will get out of the way when you have to hit, but these guys make you go around them. Itβs as if you are an inconvenience to them. This isnβt a once time deal either. Iβve been here almost 10 times now and this happens every single time. You would think with all these high school kids driving around on golf carts all day in the middle of everyoneβs play the course would at least be in better shape! Management really needs to train staff about the customer aspect point, or maybe the management needs to be trained on it!

A gem of a find for the price! Nicely kept greens (pretty fast) and fairways with pretty views and some water/creek hazards. Some elevation changes, but nothing crazy. A few holes were challenging, but most gave you some flex/field room since two fairways would be zig-zagged next to each other. Gas powered carts were a surprise, but no deal breaker.
Decently priced beers for buying on course and helpful service in the shop. Wish I had a single other photo of the course without a beer, but here is what I have!
The only reason for 4 stars was for 8 minute tee time spaces. You constantly have someone in front and behind you even if pace is fast. Not unusual for public courses, but it makes you feel a bit rushed.

Had some issues with a cart "gps" malfunction. I've played many courses with gps carts and have never had any issues. Cart shut down completely. Spent close to an hour trying to get ahold of someone in the clubhouse to come and help us or figure out if there was something i could do to the cart, but never reached anyone. Ended up walking back to the clubhouse where a cart boy told us of similar issues they had been having and that he would let the course "pro" know of my situation. After reaching out to the pro he was more interested in giving me a lesson on exactly how their gps carts work rather than offer any sort of refund for the full round i payed for. I only made it through 6 holes.
Make the drive to any of the Bella Vista courses. Much fairer rates and consistently in better condition.

Generally well kept course with nice greens and fun fairways. On the back nine there are some overgrown sand bunkers. Tee times are very tightly booked so youβre usually closely sandwiched between two parties, which I like because it keeps you on a schedule.
Pace of play was limited today because we had a group of 6 playing behind us that would venture into our fairway a hole ahead and claim our balls were theirs, sometimes even hitting them before we could get out of our tee box and down to them.
Lovely course with great management, large parties frequent the course so prepare for everything associated.

Great golf course. Great price for 18 holes. Kept in pretty good shape. I go here mostly for the driving range. $15 for about 100 balls. I wish they had signs out there on the range (50 yards, 100 yards, 150 yards, etc.) instead of randomly placed flags. Iβm definitely coming back in the future though!

Playable, because it is the only public course in town. This place somehow gets away with charging people $65 for a course with bunkers without any sand in them. Fairways terrible, tee boxes beat, greens playable. I've lived here for about a year, and since increasing their greens fees, the only thing they have updated is their club house. Course is a joke and they clearly don't care about keeping up with it. people will continue to pay the $65 because there is no other place in town.

Stonebridge Meadows is a solid golf layout that requires a golfer to hit a variety of shots and clubs in order to post a good score. Most of the course allows for a variety of lines from tee to green and does not force you to simply execute a straight shot in order to avoid trouble. With 5 sets of tees, one can easily pick a set that is right for your game. The course has bermuda fairways and rough and bentgrass greens.
The biggest course negatives are bunker sand can have pebbles, and there are a couple of holes (#5 and #18) where the fairway grading can penalize shots struck just off the centerline of the hole.
Lastly the course is very walkable. There is some significant elevation change on the front nine (holes 4 to 6 and 8 green and 9 tee), and only one extra long walk from green to tee (maybe 80 yards) from 13 to 14 on the back. If you have played in Western Pennsylvania as much as I have, it is nothing

Had a great time on Sunday. The pace of play was extremely fast and we were rushed a bit. Greens were fast and fairways were cut low. Good scoring holes and ended up with an 89. Would come back from Bentonville.

Well maintained public course with some interesting holes. As you'd guess, rounds can be slow, but overall it's a good experience.

Excellent course and personnel were very helpful. Management and course Superintendent should be very proud of their efforts.

Lowest class golfers you can imagine: regularly jump over fences onto private property for golf balls, and then talk $h!t when you call them on it.
* Update: a month later and still the same.

Nice layout and great greens. 3 * because the fairways are hard as concrete and need attention. You're better off in the rough off the tee for some grass.

Good Course / Terrible Management
Clubhouse staff is Rude and Unfriendly. No course management, groups of 5 and 6 are commonplace as are Jeans and T-Shirts. Membership terms change after purchase in an effort to make more money. Sandtraps need help.
Management values profit over course reputation.

I enjoyed the course overall. The front 9 had more of a private feel than the back 9 did. I give it a 2 star rating however because of the customer service. It seems that every time I call to schedule a tee time or ask if the course is open I get a sarcastic sounding remark or hung up on mid phone call.

A very beautiful course and a decent price in my opinion. The carts are nice and the staff is very friendly. The clubhouse seems to just be an old farm house but it is kind of neat in it's own way.

Fantastic golf course. The front 9 has much better views than the back which has houses around. Friendly staff and well kept grounds make this a great place to head out for a quick round.
