I’ve been coming to trim gym for years. Never had any issues with morning & sauna being hot at 5 am until now. The new morning crew is not turning it on to allow it to be fully heated for us who are typically finishing work outs at 5am.

I’ve been going to this gym for 10 plus years & I’m Not sure what is going on now. But the Sauna is never hot at 5 am. I think it’s a new employee that does not turn it on anymore. Please allow someone to work in the morning that is nice enough to turn the saunas on early so that they can be hot at 5/‘ for your moms that get to the gym early to start their day! That was a key element to my morning workout.

so glad I don’t go here anymore. prices are insane, everything is an extra add on. the hot tub in the women’s area was always a kiddie pool, even though there’s supposed to be no kids in there. So every time you shower, there’s little boys running around in there. Complained so many times and no one ever cared. group classes are never at good times. Worst gym in the city based on how dirty it is alone.

I'm a new member here, but I'm fairly experienced in going to different gyms. The weights are plentiful, the treadmills they offer are great, and the indoor track is a really nice benefit. The only downside I've noticed so far is the cleaning materials are lacking often and your normal gym gripes (patrons not putting weights back, not cleaning after themselves, etc).

**Update*** I've noticed the gym etiquette is worse than any gym I've been to before and witnessed a trainer (with the gym) having his client work out in/on the dumbbell racks.

The weights are never put away in the correct area and I haven't seen a single person, outside of myself, clean the equipment.

I like the gym. The 24-hour pass was worthwhile for me, great to come when the place is quiet after 9 pm - only the pool and locker room are closed off. Price is fine with me, but there are discounts for families, HS, and local college students. Definitely a more comprehensive gym (generally) than AState.

Plenty of cardio equipment and machines. Chalk room does the job. Usually don't have to wait for a machine or rack. There are occasional groups of HS kids or others that will monopolize an area or machine, but generally a very respectful crowd of members.

Front desk staff is fine/good, I don't interact much with them and that works well for me. Weights are not always reset/organized perfectly, but that is a nitpick. Cleaning staff are diligent and the bathrooms are regularly serviced. Membership is somewhat poor at wiping down machines and weights, but this is a truth of most gyms.

Large, clean facility that offers the things that most gyms do. But a lot of conveniences that most don't. Went as a guest and was impressed by the variety. The one thing that will keep me coming back is the rock climbing "treadmill". I hate heights and this gives me an experience that I've always wanted to try but never would. Without being more than a few feet off the ground, I got the exact workout I wanted.

This gym is the worse! They will just keep charging your card even when you’ve told them you want the account closed. They charge you for a family membership & still make you pay for your kids to go with you. They charged me over $250 when I never even used their gym then refused to let me get my money back.

This is one of the best valued gyms you can find. Alexis (our yoga trainer) is one of the most beautiful person you can find to train with. I’ve learnt so much from her and there are other several cardio classes going on at the same time. There are so many options from tennis to pickle ball to wall ball to swimming pool, you can’t really use all of their amenities. Overall, a great gym to hangout!

The trim gym has great amenities for use and a large weight training room, even o e for just women only. I have a personalized workout I do 4-5 times a week plus aerobics on stand bike 2-4 miles they have hydro massage chairs for use after a hard workout and jacuzzi too. I am personally a very happy camper with my membership her with my daughters and mom.

This is probably the most exciting gym for the price you pay
$45 per person and $10 per additional family member. You get a huge section with machines and tons of free weight options, a separate woman-only gym area, regular group activities like Zumba, yoga, hot yoga, cardio splash, etc., a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, multiple massage chairs, etc. all-inclusive. And then a few other things you get when you pay a few additional bucks. There are things that you may not like and the administration might focus to improve like general cleanliness around the men's bathroom. But I can only assume for this long they have already tried and failed to correct the members because there effort is clearly visible in every single area they have developed. I love the amenities of the gym but they need to upgrade their equipment. Also my son complained that he'd like to get in the jacuzzi but on the men side. Their are always naked guys on the jacuzzi so he doesn't feel comfortable going in. I feel like that is totally unsanitary and shouldn't be tolerated.

Nasty locker rooms. In-gym daycare closed after we signed up so the employee tried to extort us for a membership for our 6 year old. When we complained the manager got aggressive with our kids terrified and caught in the middle. They should turn that place into a parking lot. Literally every other gym in town is friendlier, cleaner, and cheaper.

No longer a member after 10yrs. There was a time you would be greeted at the front main entrance, which made you feel welcomed, that is long gone. You walk in now and employees are on their phones, too bored or uninterested with what’s going on the other side of the counter. Except for the other entrance, across from Sam’s, you get a simple “Hi!” or recognition.

Came up there and dropped my three daughters off , first off they needed Ids even though we have a membership. Second my third daughter had to pay as a guest bc she was not yet on the membership! . This gym definitely haves a good size and variety for being in such a small town like here,that was impressive.
I loved that they have a pool and even a whirlpool and sauna in the ladies bathroom!
The down side...lots of construction going on,one time I was inhaling turpentine from the fan were the treadmills are while running...they had painters over in a different room but the smell was extremely strong,it made me dizzy after a while and being on a treadmill running isn't a good combination to inhale that.
Also I have to questioning the cleaning staff...while using the treadmill I had a small paper towel with me from wiping the treadmill off before using it and when I left I forgot it there in those bottle holders...next day I went (around 10.00 am) and used the same one and that paper towel was still there.
That happened couple times before...🤢
You would think with covid going on they pay more attention to such things but nope.
I recommend to always clean whatever you gonna touch before using any of those machines!

Again,with Covid going on that's actually sad.
Small white towels don't smell pleasant but oh well.

Have been a member for many years on and off. I signed a 1-year contract around November of 2020. I moved to a different state and they wouldn’t let me cancel over the phone. I’ve been charged $70/month because of this. I’m back in town and was able to cancel today on June 28 with a $25 cancellation fee, but the manager said he’d also charge me for July because I didn’t cancel before the 25th. Crazy!

Joined the Trim Gym for the Pilates Reformer classes. After two knee replacements and a shoulder replacement, I needed to get back in shape. Best club ever! I have been a member at several clubs after my time at The Trim Gym and i have not found anything even close to the quality. It was easy to take for granted the cost for amenities, however this club would be well over$100 a month in Any other place! I have traveled and trained at clubs across the country, the only ones with amenities even remotely comparable are globo gyms with terrible customer service and fees that are much much higher ($35 for daily fees for comparable amenities). Always love coming back to this club!

I like trim gym and the facilities .. but you need to seriously train your staff to be friendly to everyone. Some staff are annoyingly noisy. People come in to check their badge and one staff was standing right in front of the badge area and won't move because he was busy talking.
