Every time I come here I have to wipe down all of the equipment before and after I use it. Unfortunately, I don't trust them to do much to clean the equipment. They don't even clean their restrooms which is the most basic of things. The equipment is usually in good order so that improved the rating a bit.

When I was looking for a gym membership it was more because I've been on the road for a month straight, fleeing an unfortunate situation back east. I needed a hot shower and a safe place to take one. My financial situation is dire as I'm taking baby steps to get back on solid ground. My Goddess Maria, the incredible woman behind the desk, with very little words understood immediately and did not hesitate to help me out. She not only helped me at the gym, but took the time to look up information to help me even further outside of the gym. Coming from where I just arrived from, genuine kindness is a balm that goes beyond the day. Its people who stand up, stand out like this that shimmer like stars in a constellation. I've never really been much of a gym girl, but its experiences like this that opens the mind to new possibilities. I hope the team members at 24 Fitness knows what an amazing Rock Star they have in the lovely Maria. I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I had to. Every time I come in, Maria and the front desk team are super kind, professional, and on top of everything. They always greet me with a smile, answer my questions, and make the whole experience easy and stress free. I have found the greatest trainer in 24 Hours Fitness, and that’s Matthew!!! I had been training there for quite a while and I had decided for myself that certain types of equipment are not for me as they cause a lot of pain in specific areas. Then, I had a class with Matthew and everything changed. First, he helped me stretch my tense muscles, then he showed me the correct way to position the body on the equipments for the least pain and most effect. I had the best and most efficient training. I would confidently recommend him to anyone who needs an accurate and targeted assistance for the utmost effect.

They have a ridiculous rip-off policy. I moved to an area where no 24 fitness is around, so I requested to cancel my membership for a refund 5 days after they charged me for an automatic renewal of my membership for another full year. They refused to give any refund, saying that it is their policy although I have not used my membership at all since renewal and even several months prior to cancellation. I am used to getting a prorated refund, if not a full refund for services that I am not getting whether I cancel an insurance or any kind of membership. I don’t understand a big corporate like 24 fitness has this kind of ridiculous rip-off policy!!!

The facility has been consistently unclean, staff presence and management seem poor, and the gym is often closed or unavailable when it should be open. These problems are affecting my ability to use the gym and are disappointing for a facility I’m paying to use.

Just signed up online and after two days of coming to 24 hours fitness i can confidently say i will not be continuing my membership. The dry sauna smelled like literal cheese two days in a row which is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The womens locker room and both saunas had dirt and grime EVERYWHERE this should almost be a health code violation. I used to attend this gym years ago and the quality was never this low. The only upside to this gym is the size and the fact that its 24 hours.

The front desk staff are incredible and the head manager is oustanding. Horrendous Experience: Unacceptable Hostility, Filthy Facilities, and Complete Customer Service Failure
​I have been a dedicated member of this 24 Hour Fitness location for over three years and have never missed a payment. However, my most recent experiences have been beyond disappointing—they have been genuinely appalling and hostile.
​Facility Cleanliness is a Health Hazard
​First, the state of the locker rooms is absolutely disgusting. After three years of membership, I can confidently state they have never been properly cleaned. The floors are perpetually grimy, the sinks are often backed up, and the pervasive odor suggests a profound neglect of basic sanitation. This is not a matter of minor untidiness; it is a health hazard and completely unacceptable for a paid fitness center.
​Hostile and Potentially Racist Encounter on the Basketball Court
​My recent attempts to play basketball on Saturdays have led to increasingly hostile encounters. Unbeknownst to me, the gym section off a portion of the court for an ongoing practice.
​This past Saturday, I was attempting to play when a man leading the practice (who appeared to be a trainer) and another individual directly confronted me.
​When I asked about the situation, the trainer simply dismissed me, stating, "We can be here" and aggressively added, "I owe zero explanation to you, dog."
​Another individual then shoved me out of the way and also told me to leave the area. The combination of their verbal aggression, physical contact, and complete lack of explanation felt targeted and, frankly, like blatant racism.
​Complete Failure of Customer Service and Staff Negligence
​After the physical contact, I immediately went to the front desk to report the incident. My attempt to seek assistance was met with a further breakdown in service:
​As I spoke to a front desk employee, the aggressive trainer barged into the conversation and instructed the employee not to listen to me.
​When I pointed out that a simple explanation from the trainer would have been a kind and professional courtesy, a second front desk employee interjected and stated that the trainer "didn't have to tell me nothing."
​Most shocking of all, both employees made it clear they did not care that the basketball players had put their hands on me.
​I was treated as if I was the problem, and every concern I raised was instantly dismissed with extreme rudeness. This is the rudest customer service I have ever encountered. The staff’s refusal to address a physical altercation and their overt backing of the aggressive individuals constitutes a massive failure for the company.
​This location needs more than a makeover; it requires a complete re-evaluation of its hiring and management practices from the top down. I am deeply disappointed and genuinely concerned by the hostile, unprofessional, and potentially discriminatory environment fostered by this gym's staff. They are fortunate I chose not to call the police regarding the assault.

The men’s locker room and showers were disgusting. There was water all over the floor near the lockers. Upon walking to the showers the water on the floor was dirty almost as if someone brought dirt from the outside. The Sauna was horrible as well, the floor was full of water. I went into the sauna before and after my workout and there was no improvement. I had the impression Burbank would be one of the good clubs. Very bad.

This location is actually "24hrs," which is great for my schedule. The amenities are great, from basketball to swimming. Machines are a higher lever of performance here than the 24hr nearest me. The free weights area is always crowded, but set up makes you not feel so cramed. The remodel ... Really was lackluster. I see homeless sleeping in the classroom. Women laying in the floor in the shower wasting water because they will shower for well over an hour. No one really does anything about any of this and the gym is dirty most of the time. Overall, the liciamd hour's are convenient but they have fallen a couple of notches in my opinion.

Such a spectacular trainer. Uplifting, kind, well spoken, cool dude who's one of the highlights of week. We've had him for a month now and I'd totally continue. So worth it and recommends hes such a spectacular trainer. He recommends things for nutrition and a custom plan so that you always have your own plan that you enjoyed doing. He pushes you to your best and you can definitely feel the results. He always has something new to work to help your progress. He's great if you want a trainer who does beginner to advanced workouts. He goes your pace and gives breaks just enough so you can catch your breath and get water but still workout a ton. He's super fun to just chat with as small talk too and is like your workout buddy. teaches you about equipment and without equipment workouts and also shows and does them with you. Gives tips and tricks so that you do it propely and if you enjoy a certain machine or workout he puts it in your plan. I'm a month in and me and my mother have lost alot of weight in just a short time and so worth this trainer session with joshua. thanks joshua!

5 of my friends and I just got memberships and we all tried to play a game of late night BASKETBALL and the courts were locked. I asked the employee at the front and they said that they lock the courts after 8:30pm.

What’s the point of even being called 24 Hours. They just renovated too, but the courts are not that accessible. The employee also said that it’s been locked for 3+ months.

Showed up at about 10:30pm to try (not anymore) and sign up for a membership. There was an employee behind the counter busy with another customer. I waited about 15 minutes and still nothing, the employee behind the counter was still busy with the other customer. This whole time there was another employee on the side over in the computers with 2 females and instead of asking if I needed help or anything he kept pressuring the employee behind the counter to help me while he stayed with the 2 females just chatting it up. Did not even get acknowledged by the 2 employees that I were there since the minute I walked in, so I just walked out. If this is how they are during after hours I don’t want to imagine how it is during peak time.

Honestly, it's gotten really bad again. I called 2 times about the Jacuzzi between the hours of 3 PM and 8 PM on July 18th talked to 2 different people and they claim they were so so busy, What could you possibly be doing? that they could even check the Jacuzzi, which takes about 2 minutes on the average to walk from The front desk one guy said it was hot but wasn't sure about the bubbles. I asked if they could check. They said they were very busy. It's such a disgrace that apathy ignorance and laziness of these current employees. The remodel is great! The new layout makes a lot more sense; however, they took away a couple back exercise machines that I wish they kept. Seems they’re prioritizing chest machines more. Lastly, no one re-racks their weights!!!! Please put up signs to re-rack or have one of your workers re-rack weights throughout the day!!

Jasmine is the absolute easiest employees I’ve worked with in a gym. I’ve had my gripes with things in big gym format spaces and sometimes I come off a little overly passionate about the issues I have. Jasmine always listens and offers me solutions. Gyms also been particularly cleaner than usual that past 3 months. One of my main issues with gyms.

I was really excited when I walked in and thought the new layout might change the way I worked out. Unfortunately, I was completely wrong. I arrived around 1 PM, and the gym was like a zoo—all the machines were taken, and it was extremely crowded. The experience was disappointing from the very start. It was so hectic that I decided to switch to the 24-Hour Fitness in Panorama City instead of Glendale to avoid the crowds. I’ll be passing on this location moving forward.

The location itself is in an odd area and yeah a little sketch but then again it’s been here forever. I mean, it is a 24/7 location – Don’t catch me here after 10pm when its dark! Found parking right away. Arrived on a Monday around 2-3pm DO NOT come around that time. It was soooo busy. I almost turned around and walked right out but it was leg day and I needed a good gym session. They only have 2 Leg press machines in the entire gym, crazy…. The only reason why they have somewhat high stars was most gym goers here did clean up after themselves, the customer service was superb and they have a Nutrishop located in the gym!!!

Absolutely love this gym.... the new equipment and the vibe. I enjoyed the trainer that I worked with - Arisha, and the people at the front desk are great. I want to call out one person especially, Rashad. He went the extra mile for me today.
I can't recommend this place enough! I would give it 10 stars if it gave me the option!

Gabby is super friendly and helped me navigate through the gym. I was unsure about signing up but because of her we were able to warm and see the gym. I wasn’t able to sign up for the 3 day pass because i was a former 24 hour member. She let me try the gym for the day and I was convinced that i do like it in this gym so my family member both signed up after our workout. Thank you again Gabby! I appreciate your help :)

The burbank 24 is a great location! The new upgrades have been wonderful addition and the staff are super friendly. I had a small issue and Jasmine was able to get it sorted in to time at all.

Great gym however, 3 stars because They could do a better job in keeping their showers clean, And also because there is a lack of trash cans outside of their facility, even their parking structure...zero trash bins and so you see trash all over their parking areas...very unfortunate

Been coming here for years and love the gym. Recently had 3 months of personal training with Jaelin to fix some knee problems. He was super knowledgeable and helpful, and within 6 weeks the pain and discomfort I had were gone. He gave tons of tips on my technique and structuring my workouts that changed the way I approach hitting the gym. Plus we worked out a great plan to keep it going after our sessions were over. Highly recommend the training staff here, especially if you can catch a promo deal on the pricing! Thanks Jaelin!

Wonderful staff. Everyone's really cool there

However their Air Conditioner is not fully functioning in the building. Its been getting hot in the cardio areas. Once they get that fixed, I'll be back there. The staff said they're hoping that gets fixed this week.

UPDATE: remodeled gym. Brand new equipment. Looks amazing. A/C has been working good

I’ve been going to different gyms for a while now, but 24 Hour Fitness has honestly been one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. The facility is always clean, well-organized, and has a great variety of equipment that fits all levels of training—from beginners to advanced lifters. The environment feels welcoming and motivating, not overwhelming like some other places. I especially want to give a huge shoutout to John, who went above and beyond to help me out during my visit. From the moment I walked in, he was respectful, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure I had everything I needed. He helped me figure out a few machines I had questions about, gave me some tips on my form, and even recommended a few changes to my routine that made a huge difference. It’s rare to meet someone that professional but still chill enough to make you feel like you’re not just another person walking through the door.
