3 year member here.
Great gym, great coaches, great classes, ownership that cares, community that's welcoming, what else could you ask for?
The progress, reaction times, and overall fitness of my son (10 years old) has been incredible.

I can't say enough good things about this gym, it is a special place. Knowledgeable, friendly instructors have created a fun positive
atmosphere. The membership is a community of people helping each other get into better shape. The workouts are intense but doable. This is my second time coming into this gym consistently (first time for 3 years life intervened and now I've been back for 7 months). Both times I've gotten in much better shape. Martin (the owner) keeps things fresh, constantly mining the fitness world for exercises, drills and techniques to get the members in better and better shape. Make no mistake this is a boxing gym and you will learn how to box . You will be surprised at the physical feats you can accomplish if you work out here. If you want to be in great shape get yourself into Agoura Boxing.

My husband LOVES this place. He loves the coaches, he loves the members and he loves the classes. Every time he comes home from a boxing class he rants and raves about how great it was and how I should come to one.

Amazing family friendly gym- truly a hidden gem. Great place to train whether you are an experienced boxer or if you are just starting out (as I was when I first joined).
The classes are awesome, the equipment is great, the staff is super helpful... Canβt say enough about how cool this place is.
If your looking for a place to take your fitness to the next level (while having fun) Agoura Boxing is it!!

Everyone here is cool and the place has overall good vibes. Only draw back is parking sucks and hours are slim pickings but truly a cool/welcoming local spot.

I started at Agoura Boxing about a year ago doing personal sessions with trainer James Singler. James is an incredible coach who works with students with a range of experience in boxing, thai kick boxing, wrestling and jiu jitsu. His teaching style is precise and technical, which addresses and prevents bad habits, builds confidence and expedites the learning process. Perhaps the most impressive thing about James is his ability to tailor the structure of each session to the needs and goals of the student. I trust him to keep me safe while pushing me outside my comfort zone to grow. He is occasionally funny too.
The gym offers a variety of classes all run by friendly and knowledgeable teachers. The facility is well kept, the atmosphere friendly, and the class selections diverse. Agoura Boxing is definitely a great place to be (or become) a regular.

I have been in martial arts all my life. When I got to the Westlake/Agoura area I started looking for a place to continue my training for my daughter and myself-real training. I don't rate a place by ads or by what the instructors say. I rate a place by looking at the fighting form of the students. I can tell you this, of the five places I went to visit, if any of their "Brown belt" students ever landed a blow, they would break their hand! With bag workout, you either learn to hit properly, or walk away with a sore wrist. But more than that, they teach you good footwork and defensive moves. You get to put on protective headgear and see a real punch coming in. Eventually you learn to see it coming, see the opening in your opponents guard, and land a counter punch! In a real boxing match, the loser is generally the guy who gets tired first. Here you will get a core workout to prepare you for a real fighting match.
Don't want to be a professional fighter? Most people just come here to have fun and a good workout. But after training here and the need arises, well...
