Thankfully the former toxic manager/owner here is gone. The gym now has a totally different vibe. It's very chill. Total 180 from 3 years ago. The staff is easy going and people seem to keep to themselves. If you were scared away because of the previous situation like I was, I recommend you give it another try now!

Do not go to this gym at night. The gym people here feel like this gym is a circuit gym and consume machines the whole night practically. Their bring 2-4 people to work out with and the staff is ok with it. It’s not a lot of machine availability and there’s like 2-3 benches you can use outside of bench presses with one smith machine. 6AM is the best time to go.

I love it here! Staff are really nice and friendly, and it's pretty chill and usually not that crowded. Clean facility, and there's a great little market next door so you can grab a protein bar or energy drink after your workout! PS they have a great price for the senior membership, so come on down, fellow oldsters :)

The gym is great, it’s spacious, has open windows and natural light, so there’s always fresh air, there’s tons of equipment and it’s not really crowded during the week. But the best part of the gym is Matteo, at the front desk! He is so helpful and patient, has a giant smile and excellent customer service skills! Thank you for helping me today, Matteo!

Law and Ebony are gone. They got the boot. The whole vibe is better. Music is lower and not so obnoxious. Nobody running around trying to give massages to all the women. Still a no frills gym but much better. New managers are very nice, chill and all about making the place tidy, clean and welcoming.

Music is a vibe, love how it is right now! The staff is always so great and helpful! Ethan is such a great charismatic person and always provided me with the best assistance when i needed any assistance with workouts or equipments! There are multiple lockers and diverse equipment! I love working out here!

This is a good gym but don’t come here because one of the best parts is that you usually don’t have to wait for a machine! Unfortunately one of the best things about the gym is gone. Law was a great motivator and I never saw him do anything inappropriate to anyone. However, today people can’t handle being corrected or even motivated the way that he did. And so they complained, because that’s what Karen’s do, and now Law is gone. And so is his great music and so is his great spirit. But the gym remains and that’s what matters most. I hope those who complained are happy with their sad lives.

The gym is perfect for locals looking for a gym. The gym is small but has a good variety of machines suitable for anyone. I have been going here for a year now, it’s been great. The employees are all very friendly and I have never had a bad experience. If you are concerned about the other reviews that are negative no need to worry. If you are concerned about the reviews that mention any employees being a negative of the gym, don’t worry. The employees that those reviews talk about are no longer with the gym and everyone currently working at the gym is great. If you are looking for a local gym I can’t recommend Ahf Fitness more.

I’ve had the opportunity to work directly with Law, the gym owner, for the last year, and I am extremely grateful for the experience. He is passionate in his work to both elevate your fitness and prepare you to excel in whatever your athletic endeavor may be. His focus on balanced strength and posture has allowed me to progress to my highest level yet as a surfer while minimizing injury in my 40’s. Ebony and the rest of the staff are very welcoming and are always there to help as well. The equipment is clean and consistently maintained at a high-functioning level. I highly recommend this neighborhood gym.

I really like it here. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews, but Ive only had a great experience. It’s clean, the equipment is nice, everyone at the front desk has been nice. I think the owner is creating a community and likes to greet and help you with form or whatever, but no one has overstepped boundaries.

Tested this gym a while ago and the guy who owns it/works there touched me to correct my posture without asking and kept interrupting my workout I felt really uncomfortable. Do not go here!

I give it a 4 star bc no Jacuzzi. Great place to work out. $40 a month. Restrooms has a shower so you can wash up after a work out. I appreciate Law and Ms Ebony. Can't complain. A work out and go environment. And I love the music.

I had a highly disappointing experience at this gym. The negative reviews are accurate; if you value personal space while working out, I strongly advise against going to this gym. The owner, Law, is frequently confrontational and defensive when provided with constructive criticism. When I simply requested some space, he responded by yelling and emphasizing that it is his gym and he doesn't need my business. His business partner, Ebony, initially seemed helpful, but ultimately did not assist in resolving the issue. They appear to act as a team in these matters.

Despite my membership being canceled at my request, I did not receive a refund. Law also accused me of having negative energy, refused to allow me to speak, and did not handle the situation professionally or attempt to reach a compromise.

However, I want to acknowledge the employees, who are kind, attentive, and responsive to concerns. I hope they find a better and healthier work environment. Unfortunately, the owner and business partner do not manage the gym professionally.

This is easily the worst gym I've ever been to. The place is always a mess, staff can't be bothered to do anything but take a workout break, plates are all over the place, and music so obnoxiously loud I can't even hear my noise canceling earbuds. The worst parts are Law going around putting his hands on people (myself included) without permission, trying to give random unsolicited advice, and I cancelled my membership in November and they are STILL charging me despite submitting a dispute every month. I can't even access my account on their app since they delete it when you cancel. I had to cancel and replace my credit card to get these thieves to stop and even them I'm still not sure they will try to steal more from me

I'd bet anything all these short 5 star reviews were paid for. Read the 1 stars. We all had the same experience. That's not a coincidence. The space itself has no frills. No locker room or showers but I could deal with that if it weren't for the aggro guy that runs it. This guy named Law comes in and starts barking at people, blasting gansta rap and singing along to it. He yelled at me from across the gym the first time I ever met him and got all in my face. Any normal person would read my body language and know he was making me very uncomfortable. He approached me a few times that session and I eventually said "I just wanna do my own thing" The next time he pretty much did the same thing and I didn't mention we'd already met. I managed to avoid him for a while then on a Wed. (during flu season and when the rest of the building is wearing masks) he juts his hand in my face AGAIN to shake it and offers more unsolicited advice. I swore if he did it again I would just have to flat out tell him I want to be left alone because he clearly can't take a hint. So today it happened again and I said very calmly "we've already met. I'd rather not shake hands, it's flu season" He was clearly offended and starts yelling for the whole gym to hear "I'M JUST SAYING HI. MAN YOU GOT NEGATIVE ENERGY" I said "it's too much. I just want to do my thing and be left alone" He got all in my face and told me to get out of his gym if I don't like. I racked my weights and tried to leave and he was still yelling at me up until I walked out the door. I was shaking I was so upset. I've never in my life felt like someone working where I was a customer could attack me at any second until today. It's outrageous. He needs to be in an anger management class and learn to read the room. I don't know his sexual orientation but this aggro bro culture is NOT welcoming to LGBT

I’m only leaving a review bc I don’t see an email on their site or instagram. I went in 1x and immediately a man approached me about personal training and i felt really intimidated. I’m sure he had good intentions, but i have a lot of anxiety about gyms and did not want to be approached.

2 weeks later, I got the courage to try to workout again. I called the gym to see if I could come and requested to not be approached by anyone bc of this anxiety. The person on the phone told me “well, he owns the place, I can’t tell him what to do”. Then I replied “ok so, i guess I shouldn’t come at all then?” and he said “uh huh” and hung up.

I never write reviews but i’m sad that the space seemed to be a safe place for someone like me when the call proved otherwise. Again, if the gym had an email on their website or instagram i would contact them directly. The interaction was truly unkind.

Excellent gym even for people with a disability like myself. Plenty of free parking and there’s a thrift store on the same building. I haven’t had any issue using machines since it doesn’t get very packed out. The vibe is chill and it has everything to get your work out on. I met Law and he’s a fun person. I was a little concerned about the negative reviews, but I thought he was really cool. He gives some good tips for workouts too. You have to meet him yourself. The gym has a 7 day trial period so you can decide if you like it. So far I do. :)

Can't say my experience was positive. It all started fine. Check in was easy and the floor space seemed open with lots of equipment. As I walked towards the treadmill the owner welcomed me in and shook my hand but then decided that wasn't enough and insisted in pulling me in close for shoulder bump. This threw me off a bit cause that level of forwardness already makes me uncomfortable even when we aren't in a pandemic but hey, it's a gym he's trying to create a vibe I get it. I don't say anything. So I'm twenty minutes into my run and this same dude stands next to me and starts touching my arm trying to get my attention for what I assume is some running advice. Well at this point I don't really know what to do. I don't want to break stride or stop my music cause I'm in the zone but I for sure want this dude to stop touching me so I told him to please keep his hands to himself to which he responded by telling me it's his gym and to never come back. Well okay if it's his place I have no recourse so I oblige. Didn't say a word, not even a cursory glance, I just walked to the door with my wife to settle up up front to which he wasted no time in reminding us that, "It's app based. There's nothing to talk about. Have a nice life!". Damn dude you already won the imaginary battle we were having no need to make it worse lol. Anyway... NGL I could've probably handled the whole situation better but let's face it the owner for sure could've as well. If you are a quiet, behind-the-scenes gym rat this might not be the place for you. You'll be forced to socialize. Hope this is helpful.
