I use the elliptical machines regularly. though the number a quality of equipment has improved, Iโm disappointed to see thereโs no elliptical machines. Iโm sure there are others who share this sentiment as there was many users when they were available.

Kenneth was a great instructor for me and my 10 year old daughter and her friend and her friend's mother.
I'm colorblind (8% of males are), so the color coordinated holds were difficult for me to follow.

Great place to climb!
Something for all skill levels and the routes are cycled regularly which keeps things fresh.
Lots of classes you can sign up for (included with your membership!) from climbing to yoga to boxing.
Thereโs also a nice weights room, cardio equipment upstairs, saunas in the locker rooms, and a drop off for climbing shoe repair.
Everything is always clean, the staff is super friendly, and the vibes are always good!
Bonus point in my book - the music choices are on point ๐

The routes felt a little tougher than I'm used to I'm normally a v5-7 climber but some of the lower level routes here were pretty hard, they set routes more dynamically where as I'm a more static technical climber so things felt a little awkward but overall great gym

A great place to take your kids and teens to. Plenty of space inside for all levels of rock climbers. They even have weights and cardio equipment so you can work out here daily. Their prices are reasonable and they have summer camps for kids! Highly recommend coming here if you are into rock climbing.

I normally donโt respond to surveys, but our experience was exceptional. Our instructor was able to read our needs and create just the type of experience we were seeking.

My kids and their cousins had SO much fun here. We needed to get signed waivers before they could climb and the super nice person who checked us in helped to make it a quick and seamless process. They had nice clean climbing shoes in the sizes we needed, made us feel welcome and safe (despite the fact that most of the kids had no climbing experience) and we will certainly be back!

This is a hidden gem of a climbing gym. I'd argue almost as good as touchstone's climbing gyms but at a more affordable price, less crowded, good bouldering problems. I also like that they have a partnership with other small climbing gyms so you can use a few free passes a month at other gyms to keep things interesting for yourself.

I had a great time here! The routes were challenging and fun, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was well-maintained as well. My one gripe is that the mat was less cushioned than those at other bouldering gyms I've been to, so falling was considerably scarier.

I've been climbing at Bridges Rock Gym for over 3 years, and it truly is a hidden gem. The friendly staff are welcoming and make it easy to get on a first-name basis with them. The routes are set for all skill levels and are updated regularly. The community here has a very considerate and supportive vibe, which isn't always the case at other climbing gyms.
In addition to the amazing climbing options, they also have a well-equipped workout space with squat racks, weight machines, and plenty of cardio equipment. I havenโt attended the workout classes or yoga classes yet, but Iโve heard great things from other members. The location is super convenient, with plenty of parking available at Pacific East Mall across the street. If you're looking for a friendly, well-maintained climbing gym with a great community, Bridges is definitely worth checking out!

I found out about them through the Solano walk but I have passed by this hidden building ALL ALONG! I canโt believe I missed it, I really like the routes. Though try to get here before 4pm and 6pm as I almost accidentally hit a kid. Also, when the kids donโt know when to respect the space when others are waiting on a route.

I love the Bridges community and can't speak highly enough of the setters and front desk service. Unfortunately, poor management and money pinching - even towards former loyal members (particularly those who paid membership fees when the gym was shut down during the pandemic) has left a bitter taste and I can no longer support this gym under their current manager.
That being said, don't let my review detract from your experience, as there is a good gym here and the people who climb here are amazing. The membership fees are on par with other nearby locations, which have multiple locations; however, if you are in the area, it is worth a day pass.

An excellent bouldering place! The route-setting is top notch and there is even mock comp problems called world cup weekly. The people are very nice and it is very rarely crowded.
The one downside I would say is the need for parents watching over their kids under 14 to pay even if they won't climb. I was 16 at the time and wanted to come with my 13 year old sister but couldn't since I was a minor and she was under 14.

Went here with my 5 y/o on my day off. The guy at the front desk was super helpful and kind to us. My daughter had a blast. Haven't been here in absolutely ages; I'm 19 now and was 13 going on 14 the last time I was here, in the summer of 2018, but I want to say that this place holds sentimental and nostalgic value to me. Climbing itself was very fun, and in the summers of 2016 and 2017, it all came together to make a truly amazing summer. While 2018 was a year of transition to adolescence for me, and I had great experiences of different kinds as a teen, going here was a big part of the last hurrah of my childhood before entering adolescence. I also remember having fun not only with staff who I was excited to see again after almost a full year but also with other campers. This was THE icon of summer for me and is an experience I'll forever cherish.

Though I was so excited for my Intro to Bouldering Class, unfortunately, I not have a good experience at this Rock Gym.
First, I wasn't greeted upon arrival, and me and two other folks were confusedly waiting for 5 min or more as no one was at the front desk. During a busy time of day, they would benefit from having a couple of staff members at the front to assist/check in etc.
I am upset that I wasn't offered climbing shoes or told I needed chalk.... Was my first time and I got no introductory info on site. Hands are all blistered and I'm upset and frustrated. Front desk gal was alone and it was busy. On a positive note, she and curly haired guy, were very nice!!! :) Intro to Bouldering
Instructor did not notice I was not using chalk our whole class and he knew I was new to climbing. He should have checked that each student was prepared with necessary supplies.
Next, I was not informed that I needed to show a vaccine card. It was not in the information on the class confirmation page instructions, or in the initial class description. I was almost denied the class, even though I drove over 30min and had already paid and filled out waiver 2x. He seemed skeptical about giving me a refund for the class I had paid for-- if I wasn't able to take the class. I was there and ready to go, so that's not fair to me as it was based on lack of communication from Bridges. They were unwilling to make a one time exception for a 1 hr. class, even though I suggested showing it next time when I came back-- and could be prepared, now that I was aware of requirements. If a place is going to be this rigid, they need to also be vigilant about this in class description prior to sign up and in confirmation information afterwards.
Lastly, I tried to get my concerns addressed internally by giving feedback to the manager. He offered me to take the same class again for free, but wouldn't just comp the class I had already taken. Either way, I would get a free class--why couldn't he be flexible to work with what is best for me? I don't want to repeat the class I just took. That's random. I explained that I don't live in East Bay and drove in especially for the class. He said he couldn't credit me for the class I just took, because I stayed and took it...yet I would be staying and taking the class that he was willing to offer me--so I'm not sure how that logic checks out. I don't want to come back and take the same class again, nor do I want to return to this gym, so I'd rather he just comped the original class.
Anyways, I found this small gym disappointingly rigid, discriminatory and inhumane. I got injured because of their lack of care, and inability to properly inform me regarding class supplies. I wasn't given the guidance I paid for and deserved. They weren't willing to work with me, and neglected to provide good service all through the experience and weren't willing to try to make things right after the fact. I felt compelled to take my experience public in hopes of it benefiting others in their understanding of this business.

I loved climbing here! I'm just exploring the gyms in the area and this has been the best so far! Nice location close to the BART, super friendly staff, and really hard problems to challenge the climbers ๐ช
Facilities were nice and clean, they just need to fix the faucet and the hand dryer. I like the creative setting, though it was a bit reachy (understandable though, I'm a 5'4 climber with a -3 span so this is a common issue for me across many gyms). Slab problems were really nice, I just wish there were more slab problems to try before running out

I brought two under-14s to the gym and was told I would have to PAY $22 as well in order to enter to keep an eye on them since the gym has a rule that an adult guardian has to be within six feet of them.
We went to the gym in August and I didnโt have to pay to watch the kids.
I was told there has been a change of policy yet nowhere on your website does it state this change.
This policy is not very welcoming to younger climbers to say the least.
Youโve lost at least three customers.
Editing this review to address the reply from gym. It's reasonable to insist on adult supervision but making the guardian pay the full climbing rate when all they do is sit and watch doesn't make sense. At least not from the customer's point of view.

Nice cozy place for bouldering. I'm used to larger spaces with lots of people. Our Sunday morning session was incredible and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted on each route. Will be going back for sure.

A very homey bouldering gym. Really good setting, although it is definitely on the reachier side, with some problems being near-impossible if youโre shorter than 5โ5โ or so. A small, but sufficient workout space.
Especially good slab problems on their smooth wooden walls, which are a lot more interesting than those at most gyms due to smearing being difficult on the smooth wall.

First time going bouldering. The guy at the front desk was really nice and did a little teach to the group about falling. The place isnโt that large, but there was plenty of puzzles to try and retry. Their covid policy made it so it wasnโt just packed full of people so it was easy to have space from other groups of people. Would totally go again.
