Sarah and Quentin started their careers in the fitness industry in Seattle, WA in 2007. Upon moving to Encinitas in 2015, they operated out of a local gym. When that gym closed, they turned their house into a training studio where they have been working with individuals and small groups since 2018. As their business and community involvements have increased, they have developed Brock Personal Training.

Sarah and Quentin are supreme professionals. Every workout is prepared in advance and customized to one's individual needs. The gym is clean, neat and not too big. They are motivating and personable. If you give 100% they will give you back 150%. If there were more than 5 stars that I could give them, I would! I feel extremely fortunate to have found them. They have changed my life.

Quentin and Sarah are the best fitness pros that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Every time we meet up for our one on one training sessions they are totally prepared with a tailored plan. Each workout is related to the last session and this really helps maximize the results. I feel better physically and mentally, my waistline is getting much smaller (36 to 34) and I only wish I connected with them sooner! My wife even noticed the results in a few short months. The workouts vary and help keep my interest. The proper technique is the main focus to ensure we are lifting properly and to make sure I don’t hurt myself. Imagine leaving a gym feeling like you just completed your best workout. That may not happen every time when you’re trying to do this by yourself. However, that is how I feel after EVERY session with Q and Sarah. I get 100% out of every 60 minute session. Thanks guys!

I urge you to take advantage of Sarah & Q’s life-changing training sessions and Sarah’s online videos including her recipe videos which are delivered in a straightforward, easy to understand, fun and encouraging manner.
They are the real deal. They are positive, encouraging and create unique work-outs tailored to each person. I have worked with them for over 6 years. Even when I was injured, they continued to stretch with me and kept me in good spirits. I continue to be in the best shape of my life because of them.

Over the three years that I have trained at Brock Personal Training I’ve found both Sara and Quentin to be extremely knowledgable about fitness, weight training, and nutrition -well beyond what I, a former competitive athlete, consider normal expectations. I went in to build strength in my legs after I had torn my MCL and had been off my knee for a few months. After 4 months I have no pain in my knee and I feel super strong. Quentin was able train all aspects of my leg muscles and actually my total body. The total body workout helped get me back to normal. When I went in I couldn't walk up the stairs without holding on to railing. I now can walk up and down stairs holding 12 to 15 lbs weights. Training with Quentin is amazing you learn so much, you make progress on your goals and you get stronger! It is amazing.

I've been working with Sarah and Q for over a year now, and their training is transformational. I started working with them before my wedding and I'm SO happy I did. I tried a few other gyms in Encinitas but the workouts all started to get boring and redundant. I was hesitant to try personal training, but Sarah and Q came highly recommended by a friend so I scheduled a trial and instantly knew it was exactly what I was looking for.
They develop workouts around your skill level and goals, and they know how and when to push you to get the results you want. They're very knowledgeable about proper mechanics, and emphasize safety and performing movements correctly. Every workout is different and they have more than enough equipment and creativity to make sure you don't plateau. If you're looking to actually improve your fitness or if you have a particular goal in mind, this is the place for it.
