I’m so grateful to have found Coach Ruth. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and tailors each session to my weaker areas, my goals, and the types of exercise I enjoy. Working with her has helped me build a solid fitness foundation and has been instrumental to injury prevention and treatment. This is a 100% thumbs up review of Creed as a Personal Trainer. Our disabled adult daughter has been working out with him twice a week since the depths of the Pandemic - so for over 4 years. She was unable to go out or participate in any regular activities, and finding Creed to do outdoor workouts with her was a godsend.

She has trouble following normal athletic or training instruction, and Creed has worked with her, being incredibly patient, so that she can now do a full workout routine properly. She is learning new skills and is now enthusiastic about exercising and looks forward to her time with Creed. We look forward to working with him for a long time.

I’ve trained with Jason Agrella for just over ten years. I’m a single mom of a 3 year old who can now deadlift 235 lbs and counting. I say this because I’m not dedicating my life to working out. I do, however, place emphasis on efficiency and that is exactly what you get when working out with Agrella. I would love to tell you working out is fun! easy! the best thing ever! But it’s not for me. That’s not to say Agrella doesn’t make it fun because he does. But fun for me is making love to a pint of ice cream after a burger and knowing I put the workouts in to give myself that treat now and then. Fun is continuing to snowboard well. Fun is no longer getting injured. Fun is being strong enough to keep up with my 3 year old without issue. Fun is watching my body defy age and gravity.
Agrella will guide you through a workout safely and efficiently. He doesn’t push you. He leads you via a wealth of industry experience and knowledge along with a balanced approach to hitting YOUR goals. He devotes himself to his craft in a way I never experienced with six previous personal trainers all claiming to be Silicon Valley’s “best.”
Before I met Agrella I spent thousands on chiropractors, massage therapists and various forms of other doctors and medical “professionals” each year. I justified I couldn’t afford to spend money on a personal trainer or I needed the money for something else or I would workout on my own or, or, or…
Or, I was choosing poorly.
Every Thanksgiving for the past ten years I’ve thought of how grateful I am Agrella helped me out of pain and into a level of strength I am incredibly proud of. And then I eat pie. Lots of pie. Life is short. Go earn your pie.

I cannot speak highly enough of Creed, he is hands down the best personal trainer. He’s kept me fit (and sane) for over 5 years - Ironman training, pregnancy & postpartum, and I’m back running faster than before I had my baby. Also worth mentioning I’ve been injury free because of his thoughtful planning. He is the real deal, a true expert in his field. He’s a great guy that makes the training enjoyable.

I do personal training with Jason Agrella. I've been working with him for about nine years. Something Jason and I have in common: we love working out but are prone to injury. Jason has a passion for helping his clients achieve their fitness goals while greatly reducing their risk of injury. I refer to Jason as a magician - whatever my ache and pain, he knows how to eliminate or greatly reduce it. As someone who logs a lot of running mileage, I often have muscle tweaks. After I workout with Jason, my aches and pains are gone or at least are less severe. I feel strong when running the days after seeing Jason. The body feels put together and the runs feel effortless.

I highly recommend Jason and Calibrated Custom Fitness.

My 13-year-old son had an excellent experience working with Carl at Calibrated Custom Fitness. As a committed club baseball player (catcher and pitcher), my son wanted to "get stronger" so he could be a better player. At this age, the club team coaches were beginning to use weights during training and I became concerned when my son complained of low back and shoulder pain after practices. I sought out Carl and he did a detailed assessment of my son at the gym. We both appreciated the way he explained things to us, focused on core strength before diving into weights, and increasing my son's overall body awareness. I trusted Carl. He is very knowledgeable, thoughtful, and tried in earnest to customize every movement to my son's unique strengths and weaknesses. He took videos of various movements and showed side by side comparisons with pro-athletes to help motivate him. He sent emails explaining things we could do at home. I was grateful for the way he was able to connect with my son and explain things on his level. My son progressed rapidly and I truly believe this was attributable to Carl's knowledge and training style but also his ability to motivate my son. After 10 sessions, his pains went away and he was able to incorporate fundamental techniques in his sessions with his team.

Calibrated Custom Fitness has my highest recommendation. I have been working with Carl for several years for chronic back and knee pain. He has done wonders for my mobility and I no longer deal with chronic pain. Carl is a good listener and has a wealth of information about health and fitness. He developed a fitness program that pushes me but also understands what I need and my current limits. I feel like I had a good workout every time I leave but also feel energized and in better spirits.

I've been working with Carl on my golf fitness for about 12 sessions. His understanding of the body and how to make it move a golf club are awesome. His approach is take a step back to take a leap forward and it works. My driver speed is up to 115 max from 110 already. Also I'm finding I have fewer nagging injuries too! Very happy with Carl and the whole setup!

My wife and I have been working with Jason for years and we truly cannot say enough good things about him. He has everything you want in a trainer: professionalism; unparalleled expertise on all things health and wellness related; and a kind, friendly approach that will appeal to anyone. He knows just how hard to push you so you are always advancing, but not so much that you risk injuries, or become too intimidated to continue. He is open-minded, creative, and collaborative.

For people who are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, know that he helped train my wife throughout her pregnancy and afterwards. Without a doubt, he is the reason that my wife was able to follow her own birth plan-the doctor was skeptical that she would be able to deliver without a C-section given the size of our baby and because she had spent 2 days in labor before beginning to push. But Jason had helped prepare her-both her core and her stamina-and she was able to deliver our kid safely in under 2 hours. The doctor called her the 'best pusher' she's ever seen-and that is because of Jason.

In other words, he is perfect. Jason is also just a funny, smart, and interesting guy to be around-we have enjoyed not just working with him, but becoming his friend. We trust him with our life, and you will, too.

LOVE this place. I met Coach Jason in 2010; he taught me how to use kettlebells safely and effectively. Today I'm a certified kettlebell instructor and Strongwoman athlete and I still keep learning from Jason! He's very down-to-earth and his coaching instructions are always super clear. Plus he's great at helping folks rehab from injuries, even old, stubborn problems that seem unsolvable. The studio is inviting and spotlessly clean. Can't recommend highly enough!

Coach Jason at Calibrated Fitness has been my trainer for over five years. In that time, he has refocused my entire fitness routine, which was pretty random consisting of jumping into any class and using any lifting app I could find and he channeled my energy and my time into scheduled workouts. Four years after working with him, I earned my performance-based Russian kettlebell certification. I’m now working on my second level certification with him as head coach. He is personable and relatable. His detailed knowledge of body movement and mechanics is incredible….knowledge of even using your pinky fingers and gripping with your toes. Every part of your body is engaged and he knows how to isolate it and how to train it and how to maximize your potential for your activity. About every three months we do a session just on food and diet — making sure macros and calories are calibrated for optimal performance. There is no way I would perform as well without him! He even inspired me to get my personal training certificate which I joke has made me a better client as well as a great trainer!
