I have a been a member for over 2 years now and I’ve always had a good experience. Staff always greets at arrival and upon exiting . The reason for my low review is due to the following.
MAINTENANCE ISSUES, let me begin with the water leak in the middle of the gym, this leak has had trash bin under it for months now. They literally used a machine to cover the area so people don’t walk under the leak. Second issue is at the cinema yet another leak, this leak seems to be massive since all the machines are blocked and cannot be used expect for 3 threat mills. 3rd leak is by the back of the gym yet again more trash bins to hold dripping water.
Family restroom is closed as well, apparently not working.
One of the saunas is not working either( seems like a persistent issues with this specific sauna)
Pool and jacuzzi always closed down.
I’m sorry to sound so negative but this is getting out of hand .
I pay almost $50 a month and it’s sad to see that basic maintenance is not getting taken care of.
Based on the amount of people that come to this gym, I am pretty sure the owner va. Afford this much needed maintenance.
Hope this review finds the appropriate people so this issues can be resolved.

The hydrogen massage chair code is 210210😂There are four kinds of membership online now. I paid online after I asked three locations managers. They all said I could use the fourth kind of membership without paying additional fee for kids club. Only this location near my home refused. The manager doesn’t want to be same with others but try to get other locations rejected chuze max either. They refuse to do what they promised. No credit. Be careful. They never talked about refund but only ask me to add payment. Check online. Different prices different locations. But could use it at different locations if you buy online.

We have been going here for almost 2 years since moving to the Rancho area and no other gym compares for the value they provide. The employees are very friendly always greet you on the way in and on the way out. The rewards points are good too, the classes are great, we've had no issues at all for almost 2 years. Unless you go at 5am its gonna be too packed. Even at 11pm i couldnt find a parking spot. all 20+ treadmills were taken and there were literal lines for some of the machines. Its a great gym though and they could double their membership price and id still go there if it meant half the crowd.

Great selection of machines and free weights, enough turf training space for people to put out mats and boxes, and group rooms can be used when there's no class in session. Prices can't be beat for what you get.

Edited to say that you can no longer use the group rooms in the morning before classes. You can only use them between classes after the first class is done. I wasn’t given any reason as to why a part of what I pay for is no longer available at the time I work out just that the manager said that’s how it is now. Lots of machines have been out of order lately also.

It’s a clean gym better than some commercial gyms. However it’s so packed literally 2 people per machine almost around 5pm.

I don’t get why do a buddy pass or not limit it to peak hours? Why are people paying a membership fee get same preference as people that dont pay. Sometimes people walk in without even scanning! And straight abuse going on for the sauna. 1 person scans and 4 of his buddies walk in! Enough of this lack of control. Please fix it

I’ve been coming here since it’s open and they have really let something run down. Very crowded around 5-8 pm. The cleanliness of the sauna and how they still haven’t fixed some broken boards is really bad on the last one near the pool. Some equipment have been “out of order” for a little too long but other wise if your not a serious gym person but love having the perks of a nice gym. It’s not so bad since they are open till midnight.

Great club that has a great atmosphere. Love the juice and smoothy bar. The one thing I truly dislike is when their machine's are out of service. It takes so long for Chuze to get someone out to get them repaired. Not a few days later, sometimes weeks. This is unacceptable, especially when it is a busy gym and you can't use certain machines due to non service or everyone is waiting on that one machine that is available.

I would give the Gym 5 stars, but the parking here is crazy scarce (and it is the busiest gym in the area).

Nevertheless, I have been a member for two years and only deal with the parking because I love the Zumba classes (which deserve 5 stars). The variety of instructors make it fun, especially because they keep up with new songs/routines. I never miss Ashley’s class. I try to make Annette’s Saturday class every week. Lucy’s class always pushes me to a new level. Ronaldo’s class is always interesting with monthly themes and new songs which make the 50 minutes feel like 15! I am healthier and happier after these two years thanks to the motivating instructors.

The kids club is also a highlight and my daughter is always excited to go with me to the gym.

I have been a member of Chuze Fitness for almost 2 years now. Not only is the facility up to par, but the staff is super friendly and helpful. Even when the gym is at its busiest, there are still machine available to use. The staff keeps up with making sure that all the machines are working, so its rare that you see a machine not being able to be used. The amenities at the gym are amazing, and the perks for even going to the gym are great as well. Overall, I would definitely 100% recommend this gym to my friends and family. Used to love Chuze! They did it right but now seems like they don’t have control over their gym.

For starters too many people bring buddy workout friends. Some will get one in and then go get another guy in. I’ve seen it. What’s the business model behind having a buddy pass with a simple premium membership. Should be like another tier up.

Also the fact that anyone can just go in the sauna!?? I had to upgrade mine to use it. And people out here scanning the world in. No enforcement! Especially around peak time! I paid for my sauna why do I have to wait for the group of kids to occupy it using 1 person membership? Most of them have no membership and get to use it!!!! Fix this

I really like coming here to do my workout but, lately it's been hard to get a workout in, the green floor is always full and the cardio machines are out of service, and on top of that they closed the studio, early mornings, this is so unfair, classes are not even scheduled early at that time. And the steam sauna is completely filthy it smells so bad. You could see the mold on the floor and on the wall. And yet they are on top of charging your account monthly fees.

This location convinced me to sign up but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Cons: Chuze has the smallest locker rooms I’ve ever seen at a gym. Saunas doesn’t get very hot. Little to no half weights dumbbells like 27.5lbs, 32.5lbs. Parking sucks but most parking at gyms suck.

Pros: Staff are friendly. I don’t think the saunas red light do anything but much better than normal lighting. Clean, I don’t see any dust bunnies. I enjoy the unique workout equipment… main reason I signed up.

I love chuze; it’s the best gym in my area in my opinion. It has pool, workout classes, group training, hydro chair, sauna, daycare, etc. The facility is always clean including shower and locker room. The staff is friendly; there’s nothing to dislike. My experience with CHUZE Fitness management has been extremely frustrating. At the Fontana location, the pool had sand at the bottom for over two weeks, and no one bothered to clean it. I reported it to the front desk, and two days later, there was a slight improvement, but large patches of sand were still visible.

Today, I encountered a male repairman working on the plumbing inside the women’s locker room. When I asked the female staff members how long the repairs would take or where I could change after coming out of the pool soaking wet, they had no answers. It was like talking to a brick wall. If people aren't willing to do their jobs properly, they should consider other employment.

I’ve had similar problems at the Rancho Cucamonga location. When the Fontana pool was closed for repairs, I switched to Rancho Cucamonga, only to find that their showers suddenly had no hot water—without any notice. In the cool weather of March, it's unacceptable to come out of the pool and not be able to take a warm shower.

The gym is clean and well-maintained, but it falls short in one key aspect: the saunas. There are three small saunas stacked on top of each other, and every time I visit, one or two are always out of order. This results in 5-10 people waiting outside, often sitting on the ground after their workouts, hoping for a spot. Other Chuze locations have larger saunas with shorter wait times. It’s disappointing because a major reason I joined this club was for the sauna, and it has not met my expectations. It might be helpful if sauna bookings were managed through the app, similar to their other amenities.

I have been part of the gym life for 20 years. I love Chuze fitness because it makes me feel good about going to the gym. As a woman who is not a competitive weightlifter, but someone who loves to stay healthy, I get great workouts in as early as 4 am, choice of a lot of equipment and amenities, and the Smoothie Bar! What makes my membership special is that I get to bring my dad, who cannot go to the gym alone, and that gives us bonding time in a common place and empowers my dad to feel good about himself. Great equipment, friendly staff and clean place. However, I think they should enforce more the rules regarding recording in the gym.

I have only been working out here since the first week of Feb. 2023… The staff is unsurpassed in friendliness and making sure the gym is kept clean. Great variety of workout options from free weights to cycling. I was a Golds Gym member for a few years and a couple other smaller gyms…Always fond of Golds but Chuze Fitness out ranks in workout options and customer service by far . This has become my favorite Gym !!

Been coming to Chuze for several years within the area . Never had an issue when checking in with phone number “as needed “ until today. Serena at the front desk did nothing but have an abrasive attitude and kept rudely interrupting me. She still maintained this attitude even after realizing I was locked out of the app.
