I come from 24 hour fitness and let me start off by saying the cleanliness standards are night and day. I also didn’t feel the crowd was as large as 24 is at 11am on a weekday.

Jasmine was SO nice and sweet. She is the reason I had a great first impression for customer service.

The steam room at every 24 I’ve been to here in the IE has been severely damaged or out of service. Chuze rancho had a perfectly running steam room that I was FINALLY able to relax in!

I didn’t feel rushed on any equipment and had no problem finding equipment that worked, including cardio. Those reviews mentioning that the equipment is constantly down didn’t seem to match what I saw today.

I am on the 7 day trial. Fingers crossed the next 6 days are just as good! Thanks again Jasmine!

I visited the gym with my two children and dropped them off at the Kids Club. As we were leaving, a gym member… not staff alerted me that a fight was happening right outside the door. It would’ve been helpful if a team member had informed members exiting the facility that it wasn’t safe, especially since the only available exit due to ongoing construction was through the boarded hallway where the fight occurred. I was with my two children, and the situation felt unsafe and poorly managed.

To make matters worse, two of the members involved in the fight were allowed to re-enter the gym afterward as if nothing had happened. This raised serious safety concerns for me and other members. There should be security present at all times during business hours to ensure a safe environment for everyone, especially families with children.

I generally like this gym, however, as of late I have seriously considered cancelling my membership due to Chuze scheduling classes with loud music and guests yelling alongside yoga classes where we are supposed to be mindfully connecting with our bodies. It’s very hard to be present in your class when you can hear people yelling and the music blasting on the other side of the wall. Either don’t schedule these classes alongside each other, soundproof your walls, or come up with a volume limit for instructors. The instructors hate it, the guests hate it, and it is ultimately extremely disrespectful to everyone’s experience. Do better, please.

I've been a member at Chuze Fitness for years and love it. No pressure from salespeople, just a clean, friendly, and welcoming gym environment. They offer everything I need: massage chairs, hydro massage, tanning, heated yoga, barre, group classes, team training, a cardio movie theater, pool, sauna, and more. The staff and members are great, and the place is always spotless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-rounded gym experience!

I'll give the cons about this place, in the early mornings, both saunas aren't that hot. Everytime we seem to go, their steam room is down. This happens quite often and consistently. Hope this can be fixed faster and better.

Edit: it hasn't gotten better, staff is very dismissive especially the veterans that have been there quite awhile now. Sauna is still not ready for us in the mornings, we have to continue to call the front or remind them in person that the sauna is not hot enough. Twice this week now. C'mon, Chuze, do better..

UPDATE: We have decided to part ways with Chuze Fitness. We are canceling due to the rudeness, the favoritsm, the lack of communication, the lack of amenities that are actually working when it should be. Heck we even received the wrong order on our smoothies. It's been piling up for awhile and unfortunately it's better to just walk away. I recommend saving your money and going somewhere cheaper or even making your own home gym, cheaper in the long run.

As a mother, I was hoping to find a welcoming gym where my child and I could feel comfortable. Unfortunately, my very first visit to Chuze Fitness was the exact opposite. I signed up online seeing that I liked the amenities, but once I walked in, instead of being greeted with kindness or even offered a simple tour, I was immediately met with rude attitudes and harsh lectures about rules and liabilities. Mind you, this was before I even touched a single piece of equipment. I had clearly explained I only wanted to walk through and look around, yet I was treated as though I was a problem before I even got started. I don't even have the energy to argue because that's not my style, but I will take the time to inform the public because that's what we deserve.

First impressions matter, and the first interaction with Chuze staff was enough for me to cancel immediately. If this is how they treat brand-new members, I can only imagine how the rest of the experience would be.

After asking staff and management for a full year, I was just told the maintenance man does not believe anything is broken with the 5 broken cardio machines (Precor would not agree) and no work will be done on them.

These cardio machines are the same ones the staff and management promise to fix, every month I bring it up to them. Apparently this was simply to brush me aside with no intention on fixing the BROKEN MACHINES!

After reaching out as Chuze requested, AGAIN, not one cardio machine has been fixed, they have not even put up out-of-order signs on the broken ones...
not one cable handle has been replaced, they will suggest you take the rusty metal handle from one of the cable trees to use on the machines - "just use those extra long handles from that other machine and use them on this machine that requires the short handles"

I've reached out to management before via an email address they provide (no crazy Karen stuff, just reaching out) and got crickets.
This gym does NOT
*maintain lockers in the front. Every day, about half of them cannot be used because they need to be reset or fixed.
*Maintain or replace the traditional sauna that breaks down about once a month.
*Properly maintain the cardio machines.
*Maintain or regularly replace the dozens of missing carabiner clips ...and related handles.

I've been a Chuze member since 2017 and have has such a positive experience compared to other gyms. The equipment is always clean, the staff are so kind and welcoming and there have been many enhancements in the facility/equipment. I started out as a basic member then decided to upgrade. In addition, I love the perks aspect. You actually get rewarded for working out and can cash in your points for an array of perks they offer (i.e - free membership for a month, smoothie bar, Chuze merch and other prizes. 10/10 experience and would recommend for anyone looking for a positive, less intimidating space to begin their fitness journey.

I’ve been a member of Chuze Fitness on and off for a while. I canceled my membership last year specifically because of one staff member who was consistently rude and overly aggressive. I wish I remembered his name, he would literally chase me down mid workout if I brought my mom with me, insisting she hadn’t scanned in, even when I offered to pay on the spot or explained I thought guest privileges applied. It felt less like gym staff and more like mall cop energy. Very weird behavior.

Since then, I’ve bought a bunch of guess passes for my mom just to avoid issues. I eventually switched to LA Fitness (which was fantastic) but unfortunately, they shut down, so I reactivated my Chuze membership with guest privileges this time to avoid the same hassle.

The gym itself is decent.. well equipped, and many staff are friendly, but there’s still a few employees with a seriously bad attitude. Rude for literally no reason at all. If I catch their names, I’ll update this review accordingly. I really hope the culture improves, because that’s the only thing from this review being 5 stars.

This gym is a joke! Would give 0 stars. Beware they will change what you signed up for. I had the Premiere plan back in 2024 I had a temporary work schedule change so I needed to cancel due to not using it. I had pretty much yoga, barre, zumba and a couple of other classes with the plan. I joined again same plan same class offerings. I even signed a year contract (never do that!) I would check the schedule to see which classes I would want to take and all were available but unfortunately the times did not work with my schedule for that week. I went on the other day because I had time this weekend. I can pretty much only do Zumba all yoga and bare classes are locked and it says I have to upgrade. I called and the kid said yes it changed I told him unexceptionable. He more or less laughed at me and then he said they were complimentary…after speaking to a “team member”. for almost 6 months they were complimentary the first time I joined and for a month this time..yeah right! I messaged corporate still waiting to hear and to top it off I have to pay $50 to cancel for them not abiding by their contract what a bunch of bull. Terrible gym and stop hiring immature kids with no customer service experience.

Amazing gym i absolutely love it but unfortunately the fontana location will close all amenities (sauna or steam room) 30 mins prior to closing. This is the only location that does it. I recommend if you live in the IE to go to the rancho cucamonga location or any other. I believe every other gym closes all amenities at closing time in case your in a area looking for a gym.

I absolutely love Chuze fitness I always refer this gym to people looking to get a gym membership… however this location not so much! 1st off not my fault you switched apps and my app no longer worked and the transition wasn’t simplified for various reasons… Also the way we were questioned when going in to use it was like I was a criminal smh and some also didn’t allow us then new app was also causing more issues and my daughter (minor) questioned being my guest she got nervous n said she was me so they also took a picture of her! then she left. She was using a free week pass not guest because I couldn’t go, but they scared her she left they called me like it was fraud but then were telling me how to cancel my membership when I asked about the options to just get my daughter a pass who does that? I wanted customer service not you feeling like you were head of security or something things were all scrambled and misunderstood and the customer service is horrible!!! get some better training here asap! Chuze had absolutely changed my life. Team Training at 5am was just what I needed to get my butt into gear. I was about 5 months from turning 45 and thought I was in good shape. The trainers took me to a whole new level of fit. I also fell in love with the sauce. 15-20 minutes a day was amazing. I got my coworker to join Chuze and he fell in love with the Team Training classes as well. I’m so hooked!!!

I went on a Friday night, not my usual gym day, and I wasn't aware that they closed at 9PM. This particular night I had a cramp in my abdomen. I couldn't get rid of it, and I explained that to Jasmine, a Chuze employee. She didn't seem to care that I was in excruciating pain, and told me that I needed to hurry up and leave because they were closed. I couldn't believe that I was being treated so rudely! I started to complain to Corporate about her, but I don't want anyone to lose their job. I hope that they view these reviews and go over some things with their employees.

Chuze Fitness has become a frustrating money drain with very little return for the cost. Despite marketing itself as a premium gym experience the reality is anything but. The location is inconvenient and poorly maintained with construction constantly disrupting access and making the space feel half-finished. The equipment is outdated or out of service far too often and the promised amenities rarely meet expectations. On top of that they make members create two separate accounts just to access everything one with Chuze and one with a third party company they contract with yet the accounts are not linked and often create confusion during check-ins or class bookings and more. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE LOCATTIONS.

To make matters worse the staff consistently add to the negative experience. Instead of offering help or a welcoming atmosphere they come off as disrespectful and unapproachable making it difficult to get simple questions answered or resolve issues. For the money they charge Chuze delivers far less than even the most basic neighborhood gym. It is clear their focus is more on squeezing money from members than providing a quality or unified fitness experience. Save your time money and energy and find a gym that values its members and respects their time. Horrible experience to say the least...

If I could leave zero stars I absolutely would. Chuze Fitness Rancho Cucamonga is one of the most frustrating and poorly managed gym experiences I have ever dealt with. From the moment you step inside the facility it becomes clear that this location prioritizes profit and presentation over member satisfaction and genuine service.

To begin with the construction is endless. There is always something torn apart blocked off or under development. This constant state of disarray completely disrupts the environment. It is noisy disorganized and unsafe. Equipment is either inaccessible or randomly relocated and it feels more like a construction zone than a gym. No updates no clarity no real regard for how this affects paying members. Just a permanent excuse to justify the mess.

Then there is the issue of overcrowding. Regardless of the time of day the place is swamped. Machines are always occupied weight areas are chaotic and the locker rooms are packed. This location has clearly signed up far more members than it can realistically accommodate. You cannot even complete a simple workout routine without being forced to wait or compromise. It is stressful inefficient and anything but enjoyable.

However the most unacceptable part of this entire operation is the process of canceling your membership. It is not just complicated it is intentionally obstructive. Chuze Fitness routes all cancellation requests through a third party platform called MyiClub which seems to exist solely to make it as difficult as possible for people to stop paying. You cannot cancel through the app. You cannot do it by phone. You are told to log into a separate outdated system that often does not work or redirects you in circles. In person staff either lack the authority or the willingness to help. You get passed off again and again.

It is a methodical system designed to wear you down until you give up. They keep billing your account and blaming policy or third party systems instead of taking any responsibility. It is a scheme built on confusion lack of transparency and zero accountability. You are not just trying to cancel a gym membership. You are trying to escape a loop that was designed to trap you.

This is not a gym that values its members. This is a business model that profits from obstruction and delay. Nothing about this process is fair ethical or respectful. I am warning anyone considering joining Chuze Fitness Rancho Cucamonga to take your time and money elsewhere. The experience may look polished from the outside but behind the scenes it is a frustrating expensive and exhausting mess.

Avoid this location at all costs. Use your local gym. End of story.

This gym went from legit to laughable.

I was a member for over 8 years. When I joined, it was clean, well-managed, and had a solid atmosphere. Equipment was taken care of, the steam room and sauna were calm and relaxing, and the staff actually listened — they even added squat racks and benches because members asked for them.

Now? It’s completely unrecognizable.

The staff barely acknowledges you. Broken machines sit for weeks without being fixed. The steam room and sauna are always packed and dirty — I’ve seen people spitting on the floor. Over in the locker room, there was glass in the shower changing area. For some reason, kids constantly occupy the shower rooms to take pictures, and some men will take 30+ minute showers during peak hours, tying up the limited space. I’ve seen people sneaking into the pool area, homeless individuals using the locker room, and one person had their car stolen after leaving their locker unlocked. It’s not just mismanaged — it feels unsafe.

The gym is now overrun with people who treat it like a hangout spot. Kids crowd the place, move benches around, hog equipment just to talk, and never rerack weights. Basic gym etiquette is dead. Good luck finding parking unless you show up at 4AM.

On top of that, I was paying $27.99/month for steam room access without a contract — while new members are getting in at $20.99. So loyal, long-time members pay more for less, while the quality tanks? Total disrespect.

If you're serious about training, don’t waste your time here. This place isn't a gym anymore — it’s a cheap daycare for people who don't care about lifting. Save yourself the frustration.

Two toilets in the women's restrooms did not flush. Two ellipticals in the movie room did not work properly one jerks and one slips. Wifi was overwhelmed. Was super busy ( not the gyms fault) however, when it's like that the group fitness area is a nice escape and that was closed off as well. I've brought up the ellipticals before and was insured they work that was well over a year ago it's the same problem. I will be getting rid of my membership now they don't do the maintenance as often as they should and with the closer or locked doors of the group fitness area (there was no class taking place) that's a final blow. Some of us get way to overwhelmed in such a crowded space and that area was a nice place to get away from it.

I've been coming to this gym for 15 days. The only water dispenser in the pool area has been broken for at least 4 days. That gum has been there since day one. That napkin next to the jacuzzi has been there for at least 5 days (even though the people who work here take photos as if they were reporting on the good condition and cleanliness of things) and the Internet is rubbish, you have to try to log in all the time.

CHUZE has been the best gym I have ever been a member of. The staff is so friendly, welcoming and uplifting. The classes are so fun, lead by extremely supportive instructors. There’s so much equipment to choose from, plenty of machines to have a well rounded workout any day of the week. The smoothie station is phenomenal, so is the aquatic side of the gym. The only, only complaints is that it gets crowded and people just linger. Nothing the gym can do. It's just a size thing. Recommend the classes if you have a membership that includes them. They are great and you feel the "burn" in a shorter time.

This gym is clean has cleaning wipes all around the gym to make it easy for us members to keep the machines clean. My kids enjoy and love going and spending time in the kids club. Most of the team members are very friendly and helpful. It might not have the most popular machines that other gyms have the fact that they keep it clean and open at 4am make it in my opinion the best gym I'm am member of. I would recommend this gym to everyone and I actually do any chance I get I tell people about it.

Terrible experience! I am new to the area and I've been in search for a new gym. Well on Monday night, after doing a great deal of research I decided to give Chuze Fitness in Rancho Cucamonga a trial. Upon entering the gym, I found a line of people signing a rooster sheet, as the front desk shouted "our system is down, manual check-in at this time." Rather than just signing my name in, I asked for assistant from the desk. I began by saying , that I was new to the gym and was interested in joining, however , I wanted to utilize the 7 day trial, advertised on their website. I was immediately brushed off and told, that the system was down and that they could not offer me the 7 day at this time, given it would require computer access. The front desk staff then proceed to say but "if you go online and sign up for membership" then you would have access to the gym. Perplexed , I said "why would i sign up for a membership without ensuring that I am truly happy with the gym? I was very irritated by the fact that I drove all the way to this location, with the thought that I would be able to work out just to be told, sorry system is down. First impressions are vital and based on last night's experience, I will never be back nor would I recommended it!

The kids club reservation system is very inconvenient. I tried an hour in advance to make a reservation for 4:30, but it didn't work, and when I arrived in person, the reservation system was finally working. But it was 4:45 and I had to wait 15 minutes until 5:00. This wastes my time every day and does not extend my little one’s patience. Reservations cannot be made in advance at home, so you have to come in person, make a reservation, and wait at the door.
I like Chuze Fitness and have recommended it to my friends, but because of this issues, I am no longer happy coming here.

I can do any kind of workout I want each time. All the way from light machines to heavy iron. Very friendly staff, hello and goodbye. Every time I have asked for help or information, they cheerfully take care of it immediately.

This gym, specifically the one in Rancho has amazing classes, installations, and equipment. It’s spacious and can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but so does any gym. The sauna and zero gravity chair are my favorites.

I have been a member which ChuzeFitness since I believe 2020 I absolutely love it,,
I have been using the tanning bed here for YEARS today is the first time they denied me using it because I did not have eye goggles. They never once asked me before until today.
The guy at the Rancho location seemed rude telling me to buy a pair..
I just feel you guys should stick with your policy.
I’m sure you don’t ask every person who uses the tanning bed.
Because like I said, this was the first time!
So of course, I’m gonna be upset!

I love chuze!! I go to the fontana and rancho locations. The kids club has made it possible for me to workout. Before I found chuze I had to figure out how to workout with my baby but now that's not a problem. I also love all the classes (I do bodypump and team training a lot). All the instructors have been so great! I always get an awesome workout and leave feeling healthy and energetic. The massage chairs are awesome as well. I love the anti gravity chairs. The membership is really a great price for everything you get! I highly recommend chuze.
