About the Club

I specialize in making exercise, strength training, and nutrition accessible. I know it can be difficult to navigate the details and misinformation that comes along with training and nutrition. My goal is to make that process easier for you. With my clients, I develop a plan, gauge your progress, and together we discuss adjustments that may need to be made in order for you to be successful for the long term. As in all successful relationships, I advocate for open communication so I can better coach and guide you to successful outcomes. Marc has been the best thing that ever happened for my health. He trained me to get fit for my wedding in 2012, then trained me for a full Ironman in 2013. He kept me fit and well during my first pregnancy. After a few years break, he seamlessly brought me back to a physical strength I never thought I’d have again and did it all while making me feel empowered and capable. Marc is the absolute best of the best.

Marc is a phenomenal trainer! I was ~8mos post-back surgery (27 yrs old) and Marc worked with me to get back into the gym. He listened to my goals and built a personalized training program, supporting me both during our weekly in-person sessions and virtually via a training app. Marc designed at-home sessions for me to do throughout the week, complete with video tutorials and personalized notes/suggestions. I had to move across the country a few months after starting with Marc. He put together a folder a videos and descriptions of my progress that I will hand off to my next trainer. All of it personalized to me!

Marc is the only reason I feel confident in the gym after my back surgery. I really can’t imagine my recovery without him. If you’re looking for a personal trainer in the South Bay, Mountain View, San Jose, etc. — I’d whole-heartedly recommend Marc. Do it!

Training with Marc is a game changer! I used to have an unorganized approach to my workouts and wasn’t being consistent. Working with Marc has changed that completely. He listens to my goals and concerns and tailors the workouts to me. I love the app platform he uses so I can track my progress week to week and that my workouts are already set up. Coach Marc’s instruction and exercises have completely changed my performance in the gym!! He is the best trainer because he is easy to communicate with, listens to your goals, and creates workouts specific to you. In 3 months, I was able to lose around 20 lbs with Coach Marc’s training, advice, and a balanced diet. When I would go to workout in-person with him, he was very good at giving detailed feedback and is a very easy-going person. He is very patient if something is difficult and doesn’t mind showing you how to do the workout again. I love the platform he uses to post workouts on the days where I workout alone. He leaves instructions on how to perform the exercise optimally and specific weights/reps/set amount he recommends. Moreover, if I ever felt like I was doing something incorrectly or needed extra pointers, he was available through text message so I could show him a video of the exercise. His coaching has really helped me love lifting again, be consistent, and look my best because he has such a deep understanding of exercise. If you have the chance, I would highly recommend Coach Marc both via in-person and online training.

Marc Santos is a superb trainer and mentor. He has been my personal trainer and life coach for many years now. I honestly wouldn't be where I'm at with my health, physique, and overall mentality on life without him. Marc is most definitely an expert in the health and fitness field and is very knowledgeable too. He works with you on achieving your goals in the gym and outside of it. Most trainers tell you how and what to do when it comes to weight loss or whatever your fitness/health goals are. They tell you if you listen to them and do what exercises or diets they suggest, that you will achieve your goals in the gym. Marc on the other hand not only helps you get to your goals in the gym, but he does it in the healthiest and safest way possible. But the thing that separates Marc from the other trainers, is the fact that he educates you throughout the process. He doesn't just want you to reach your goals, but he wants his clients to actually learn about their body and this industry throughout the journey. Marc thinks about longevity when it comes to the gym and wants his clients to be able to be active throughout their lifetime. Marc is a fantastic trainer, health coach, and friend, and I'd recommend anyone who is interested in making some health changes to their life to him.

Marc is the best coach/trainer I’ve ever had! My experience with the fitness world has not always been great, so I feel incredibly lucky that I found Marc. I feel like he puts so much thought and attention into our sessions together, and he is really comfortable to be around. He’s not a drill sergeant, instead, I feel like he’s really listens to me, while also pushing me. I recommend Coach Marc to anyone who wants to see real results while also having fun. I’ve been seeing Coach Marc for personal training for 1 year. In that time, without dieting, I’ve seen my body fat decrease 4 percentage points and my lean body mass increase by 12.7lbs! Marc has shown me how to do the big five exercises with amazing form. He does this by patiently taking the time to teach each movement carefully. He adapts our workout routine as needed to help me learn new methods. His sessions are well planned out and conveniently tracked online. He provides me with detailed workout plans when I am not training with him or when I’m traveling out of town. He also is a great listener that makes me feel safe sharing my thoughts and concerns with him. Training sessions with Marc are the highlight of my week and I expect they will be yours too!
