I’ve been training for 4 months and I love it. I can say I’m addicted to it. I tried normal gym before. I was very motivated at first but that reduced to only once a week then nothing at all. Without any coach & structured workout, I didn’t know if I made the full use of my time at the gym. Personal trainer is expensive. Coach Miguel & his team of coaches Amanda & Niko at CrossFit BPM are amazing coaches. They are passionate to teach you the right form & everyone else who come to train are so supportive regardless of your fitness level. I don’t feel intimidated at all if I can’t do certain things because there’s always a modification to the workout & eventually you going to get there. I highly recommended Coach Miguel.

First off, joining CrossFit BPM has been the best decision I've made in 2020. The classes and training they offer are suitable for all levels (with scaling options for beginners) and the community they've built is incredibly welcoming. Personally, I enjoy the type of training they program as workouts are different everyday, thus the targeted muscle groups change daily. However, my favorite part (and perhaps the more underrated class) of this gym is the Olympic lifting class, as it's where I learned how to perform the Olympic lifts (which I fell in love with because of this gym) and where I can test the strength that I've built from this gym as a whole. Finally, the coaches are a quintessential selling point of any gym, and CrossFit BPM's coaches are truly incredible. They offer insights/strategy for workouts, recommendations on gear, and an encouraging attitude while coaching. They truly want their clients to succeed not just in their fitness journeys, but also in their personal lives as evident by their motivational Instagram account. All in all, I highly recommend CrossFit BPM as it's a comprised of an amazing community and the workouts make me feel stronger everyday.

I started about 3 months ago, in the beginning I was very intimidated since i had not worked out in a long time and eventually I got to my heaviest and I knew I had to make a life style change. But, since day one I felt in complete ease everyone is so welcoming and the environment it’s amazing and friendly but what I highly enjoy is the music it gets me in the groove to give it my all! I want to say a special thank you to Miguel, Amanda and Niko they have pushed me and continue to motive me to become my best. Coming here was the best decision I made in 2020 :)

CrossFit BPM is the best gym out there. The coaches are great and truly care about your progression during your fitness journey. Everyone who attends this gym is super welcoming and supportive as well! Each day there’s already a workout planned which makes going to go workout fun and worry free; The workouts can be challenging, but you will definitely see/feel the difference in your body if you attend classes on a regular basis. If you’re looking for a great place to workout, a welcoming and fun environment, I highly recommend signing up!

Crossfit BPM has been my home away from home during these troubling times. This gym has been my escape and has played a huge roll in my mental health. I've always tried to remain active but Crossfit BPM has kept me in the best shape of my life. That's partly due to all the great coaches: Coach Miguel, Audrey, and Amanda. They have all pushed me to my limit each class and I can't thank them enough for their encouragement.
Every class is challenging and different. But as long as you trust the process, you'll start to see some improvements over time. Everyone has been supportive from the moment I've walked into the gym and I've met some great people along the way.
I'm truly grateful for Crossfit BPM and all it's members. This place has changed my life for the better!

This was my first time joining a CrossFit gym and man I regret not signing up sooner. The BPM environment is unlike any I have experienced. This is my first CrossFit gym and I highly recommend CrossFit bpm if you’re looking to do CrossFit or also Olympic lifting. Coach Miguel, Audrey and Amanda are awesome and love how they are always willing to help you on your weak points and push you when they know you are capable of more. They are all very knowledgeable when it comes to fitness and nutrition and are always willing to share their knowledge or give you guidance when you ask. I started going to CrossFit BPM a few months ago, and I have loved my experience. I started not knowing anything about crossfit and not having any upper body strength whatsoever, but with the help and support of the coaches and the gym community that welcomed me in, I am learning proper technique and lifting heavier weights all while having fun. The workouts are challenging, but the coaches are there to guide you every step of the way and push you to keep going to reach your fitness goals. I would highly recommend CrossFit BPM to anyone!

My son does the kids class and its been a great experience. He's special needs and coordination doesn't come to him naturally. He's learning how to use his body more efficiently, while getting in shape at the same time. The community is always inspiring and i love to watch them cheer each other on and doing high 5's. They like to use games as a warm up so the kids are too busy having fun to realize they're exercising. And i think this helps reinforce that using our bodies should be fun. The workouts are scalable for each child and they do workouts that don't make one kid feel bad about being the slowest.
The improvements my son has made in a short time at crossfit BPM exceeds beyond the physical. He has gained new friends, personal confidence and is more happy today. It has been a game changer!

As a person that is not physically fit, joining a CrossFit gym is a very daunting and an intimidating commitment to make. I was pleasantly surprised how welcoming and understanding Miguel (coach) and all the members I worked out with are. Everyone has there own goals in mind and I felt no judgement lifting the lowest weights. If anything Miguel was supportive of my personal goals and my own fitness journey. Miguel knows how to provide constructive feedback and encourage me to do more when he knows I’ve set the bar at complacency. I truly enjoy working out with different people with positive mind sets. Workouts start with an inspiring quote and honestly it really helped me change my train of thought that this workout is going to be difficult...if anything more determined.Seeing so many different people from all ages really commit to fitness day in and day out is inspiring. If you don’t have a home gym yet ,I’m sure you’ll certainly feel like you found one when you stop by for a visit.

I love, love, love this place! I’m the kind of person who needs a coach to push me or else I’ll just stay in bed. The coaches here are so encouraging and really get to know you. The community is awesome and feels like family. I also love that I can just show up and the whole workout is planned for you and I don’t have to think about it, I don’t even have time to talk my self out of it! I’ve learned so much and I feel amazing now that I’ve been coming consistently for over a year! Seriously one of the best investments I’ve made in myself.

This review is for Miguel. Miguel is a true professional and cares about his craft/business. The pricing is excellent and competitive. Miguel's customer service response time is quicker than most companies on the market. If you get the uncomfortable feeling when thinking of trying something new like I always do, then this is the place for you. Why? Because Miguel will make you feel at home from the moment you walk into the door. All of the other attendees will welcome you with a shake, smile, and offer to assist you in any way possible.

I am so thankful I found CrossFit BPM! I googled crossfit gyms (now I know they are called boxes) in Lakewood and emailed the owner about visiting. He responded the same day and I was soon signed up for the fundamentals course. After that first class, I knew I was hooked. Coach Miguel, Audrey and the rest of the BPM family welcomed me in from day 1 and I felt at home. The coaches are skilled and care about safety, but will also push you to your limits. They are great teachers and are very patient, which I appreciate because I am new to crossfit. Before crossfit, I would spend hours at the gym lifting weights and doing cardio. Now, when I occasionally go back to the gym (only because I missed training due to work), I am bored out of my mind and miss my crossfit family. It's a great, friendly atmosphere and I highly recommend joining! It will change your life.

Dropped in to BPM while visiting family in the area and will definitely be back again! Ended up also doing 17.4 here. Great spot, friendly members and awesome coaches.
Also have to mention that a friend who lives nearby came with me (or, should I say, I dragged her with me). It was her first crossfit class and she was terrified. But after one class - she was hooked. And now she's officially a crossfitter. So if you're on the fence, there's nothing to worry about! This place will make you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. You know you want to!

I recently relocated to Long Beach and saw this gym after some last minute Christmas shopping. I decided to drop-in one day rather than my normal Garage WOD. I'm really glad that I came by!
Miguel was a great coach and was attentive to the members form and safety while lifting. The place was very well organized, clean, and kid-friendly. As a seasoned CrossFitter and Coach its good to know there's a place to drop into nearby. I'll for sure be back and bring friends.

I have been coming to this CrossFit gym for the last year and I seriously have never been stronger and in better shape in my life! It's funny because when I was researching gyms I actually walked up to the door's of BPM and didn't go in because I thought "There's so many buff people lifting weights in there" and it was kind of intimidating. I'm glad I scheduled a time to come in on a Saturday to talk with Miguel and sign up for the fundamentals course.
One of the things I thought was really great was that you don't have to have any exercise experience to get started because they have a Fundamentals course. I started CrossFit as a rugby player but I was still out of shape and knew nothing about lifting weights. Through the Fundamentals course I learned all of the basic movements necessary for the regular class workouts and from day one they stressed the importance of doing things with correct form.
Now to the results:
In the last year I've lost about 20 pounds of fat and gained a ton of muscle and strength. My rugby performance has increased exponentially because I'm able to run faster and I'm not out of breath as much. Actually last year I went to this rugby 7's tournament in San Luis Obispo and I was huffing and puffing around the field and they only put me in for like 2 games. This year I went to the same tournament and they had me starting in every game on our A side and I didn't even feel tired after several games!
If you're looking to get in shape CrossFit BPM is a perfect place to do it. The coaches and members are all really friendly and like a second family. The gym and equipment are always clean and I love how everyone pushes each other to be better. You will definitely be working hard, but you'll also see some amazing results!

I researched many crossfit gyms and found this amazing spot. CrossfitBPM takes huge pride and confidence in the fundamentals of this sport. The coaches take every opportunity to help you achieve your fitness, nutrition, and overall health goals. I've been coming here about 5 months now and had the opportunity to learn different skills from each coach. I recently hit a major fitness goal and can't wait to see the results of the next workout set! The members are also very supportive and I felt immediately welcomed as part of this family from day 1. This is the right spot for any level of fitness!
