This gym has serious issues with billing and customer service. I’ve been overcharged, and tried to resolve it, I’ve encountered unhelpful and poorly trained staff. The lack of accountability is very concerning.

When I called and spoke to the front desk he informed me he would transfer me to the manager then turned out I was speaking with Xavier, the so called “lead,” he was dismissive and unprofessional, even ending the call instead of addressing the issue. He should be fired.

This is a great gym. It's beautifully designed, and it's CLEAN. This might be TMI, but even the men's urinal area is clean and smells great. The exercise equipment is all in excellent condition. The dumbells are actually in their proper places on the racks! The staff is really nice and helpful. I have been working out at a 24 Hour Fitness in San Francisco for the last 2 months, and this was a breath of fresh air. I worked out on a Wednesday at 11am, and it was not crowded.

I used to go to 24 hour fitness. It was dirty. It was trash everywhere. None of the treadmills ever worked. That’s why I love Gold GYM. It’s always clean. They are always friendly worth the money.

I’ve been an active gym-goer for years, and I joined Gold’s expecting a solid training environment. Unfortunately, the biggest issue here is how grossly overcrowded it is. At peak hours it’s nearly impossible to get a workout in without waiting 10–15 minutes for basic equipment. The floor feels more like a crowded social event than a place to train.

It seems like Gold’s pushes out guest passes and promotions nonstop, which might be great for sales, but it comes at the expense of paying members who actually rely on the gym consistently. When you’re investing in a membership, you shouldn’t have to constantly battle for space and equipment.

The staff and equipment themselves are fine, but the lack of balance between member experience and constant guest traffic really takes away from the value. Until they scale back on overselling and focus on the people already paying for memberships, this isn’t the gym for serious or consistent lifters.

They dont have a pool, only bad thing. Plenty of equipment to work out. Sauna and steam room are amazing. Overall atmosphere is good. I was working out here when the front desk manager Donyell Cup erupts at a customer. She started cussing and was aggressive towards a customer which should never be the case. I would not accept this behavior if it were towards me. She should be vacated immediately. It was about 5 minutes of cussing all infront of customers.

Here’s an updated review, since I have been a member of Golds Gym thus far.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Gold’s Gym, particularly with the management team and their handling of member concerns. Over the past month, I have been attempting to resolve an issue that I brought to the attention of their Regional Manager, Andrew Beard. Unfortunately, the way this has been handled shows a lack of professionalism, accountability, and follow-through. Andrew Beard initially assured me that my concern would be addressed and that outreach would occur. However, those assurances have proven to be empty promises. More than a month later, I have not received the resolution that was promised, nor have I been provided with consistent communication or updates. This has left me not only frustrated, but also feeling that my time and membership as a customer are not valued. The management team as a whole appears disorganized and unresponsive, and this reflects poorly on the Gold’s Gym brand. When a Regional Manager fails to follow through on commitments, it sets the tone for a culture of incompetence across the organization. Customers deserve transparency, communication, and solutions, none of which I have received. I expected better from a well-known fitness brand. Until Gold’s Gym improves its management practices, honors its commitments, and trains leadership to deliver on promises, I cannot recommend this gym in good faith.

The gym closes early on weekend like 7pm… guys are you kidding? No asking for 24hrs but think about it, it’s clean but the cleaning stations are not enough, maybe one next to the dumbbells will make a huge difference.
Mostly of the staff is really friendly and helpful the equipment gets fix quick if something is broken or damage, always clean and even when is crowded you get something to do

This gym has all the right equipment I need for this phase of my fitness journey. I started at a baby gym for my first two years and once I got out of my comfort zone my husband convinced me to try Gold’s. At first I was overwhelmed by all the foot traffic but as the time went on I got a feel for the regulars and you just fit right in. The front desk is so amazing always welcoming. I don’t care what anyone says, the front desk of a gym makes or breaks you and this one remembers your face they noticed when I was without my husband or asked where my kids were when they would see me come alone. Just key things that made me feel seen in such a huge community & for that reason alone I love it. It’s clean, friendly and everyone wipes up after themselves. Hope this helps.

I was glad there are no hidden fees, I been scammed before I was scared !! The employe help me feel comfortable and explained the cost to me so I signed up. Management was very unhelpful. Said no guest pass was able to use if not being over a year of use (1 month before it hit a year for me) then online states you are able to within 6 months? I asked nicely but was told to wait by a women who proceeded to just look here and there at me while i was waiting to hear from her with it ending with no help, a nice man with glasses ended up helping and was able to even sell me the pass which i was happy to do with his kindness :) kindness goes a long way.

Gold’s Gym has some of the highest standards in the industry. Equipment is always refreshed and operational. Cleanliness is a priority in the Rancho facility. They remain stocked with sanitizer and paper towels to prevent the spread of viruses. And the staff is always helpful and friendly. A little bit crowded but if you learn peak hours you can easily avoid them. If you’re looking for a change, definitely look into Gold’s.

They have any equipment you may need, the cardio areas are upkept well, if you travel or commute for work they're are multiple facilities, amenities like pool, steam room, sauna, body scans, massage chairs etc. are well maintained at most locations I have seen, staff is always helpful and friendly, and other member there all tend to be good hearted, putting in work, and are collaborative

The guests are very disrespectful because they will film other guests for content creation. They even bring cameras for this. I don’t recommend visit this gym if you don’t want to see yourself on some random YouTube channel. I want to work out without my body being filmed by some rando and him saying “this is his job”. At this gym microinfluencers are allowed to videotape and photograph all guests without a consent waiver, and will monetize this content. Influencers will come to film during the busiest time of day, and film right in the middle of the gym so it’s impossible to avoid the camera.

One of these influencers posted a review, saying that I am lying but I am telling the complete truth. Would you really believe that a content capitalist would willingly delete videotapes of sweaty women wearing tight clothing?? This is the Inland Empire. These videos are HIGHLY valued and monetized by the wrong people. There is another review on this page where a woman is complaining about two men that set up a camera with a tripod and got a lot of footage of her working out, and those “content creators” only did five reps.

If these influencers just wanted to film themselves working out, they would do it at a quiet corner of the gym, or at a time when the gym is not extremely crowded. This kind of “fitness content” that these men are claiming to create is way too suspicious.

Complaints to the management don’t have an effect. One influencer even has a picture with the managers giving him a huge green light, demonstrating that the gym prioritizes content creators over preserving people’s privacy.

Buyer beware! I loved the gym but when it came time to cancel the membership (moved away) the procedure is a giant pain! You’ll need to get a phone number from golds gym, call a third party and jump through hoops just to talk to someone, that will try to talk you out canceling after being on the phone for half an hour. FIX YOUR EQUIPMENT!!!!

I liked this gym when I first started coming last August but I loathe coming now. It's always busy no matter what time you come (which is fine) but NO ONE reracks their weights and currently there are multiple broken resistance machines downstairs and EVERY cardio bike upstairs is broken (the resistance doesn't work on any of them, I tested them today personally).

My fiancé and I pre-paid thousands up front for 3 years platinum membership, what is our money going towards??

I'll change my review once the equipment is fixed (and the downstairs bathroom is periodically out of order at least once a month) until then it's staying 1*.

In the meantime we're going to start looking for other gyms in the area.

I used to love Gold's Gym, idk what happened to it but it feels like an LA fitness or 24hr Fitness now, except more expensive.

I love this gym! I take the 5:30am classes most days and I love the mix of workouts they have. I’m able to get my cardio and strength training in alternating each day. Well some of Management sucks they believe what others say with out evidence, just words. Every equipment is out of order, some of the areas not even clean or to be working as many photos are true from other views. You end up saying something because they said if we need to improve in areas say something in a good way, but it is actually a trap and a way employees can go to Management and make up lies. Afterwards you are kick out with a phone call with no explanation or when you go in the next day. They take you to the office were every one can see you and hear the talk.
