This Reformer 1 course was my 4th Balanced Body Pilates training workshop at the EPY Center. I have learned so so much from Wahida and these trainings. She not only trains you on the format and exercises, but teaches and encourages you to critically think, whether you’re teaching one client or a group. This is really taught me to be an effective and confident Mat Pilates, instructor. Thank you, Wahida!

Always an amazing experience. The instructors are the best in terms of body knowledge and classical Pilates movement. Every class is an absolute joy to my body. I especially like the fact that my Instructor Megan is mindful of my body issues and injuries. She methodically works to make sure that I am not doing anything that would exasperate any of my current issues while gently encouraging my body to overcome those issues.

I’ve worked with a variety of trainers, each bringing exceptional expertise and a deep understanding of the human body. What sets this studio apart is not only the high level of Pilates instruction, but also the integration of Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis methods, which together create a truly comprehensive approach to movement, strength, and mobility.

The staffs are very knowledge and kind! Even though it is a group class, I still feel I get individual attention which you don't get from a large studio. I feel safe due to the awareness of the instructor so I don't get reinjured. Thank you!

I have been going to EPY Pilates for nearly 20 years (!), aside from the Covid break. This past year my husband who has a neurological disease started going for a weekly session also. Clearly my loyalty attests to the personal service --- shout out to Mesa and Jenna. Wahida and the staff are responsive and supportive and the equipment is well maintained.

For several years I have been dealing with an odd pattern of chronic tension in my body and I have tried everything to find some lasting improvement- but nothing so far has quite done the trick. This year, however, I have become very interested in Gyrotonics as a therapeutic means to get my body closer to how it felt before this ailment set in. Although I am just beginning, I have observed that the movements are very effective in opening up tight and restricted regions of my body (of which there are many).
Adding to the experience, the studio is welcoming, the teachers are excellent, and I look forward to seeing what consistent practice will bring. I highly recommend anyone else out there to give it a try.

I have been an EPY Pilates client for over 30 years and have loved every minute of it. The teachers are exceptionally well trained and their attention to detail has been invaluable to me. I live with arthritis throughout my body, and my physical therapist has told me I would be in much worse shape without the work I do here. Pilates and Gyrotonics have enabled me to stay strong, flexible, and sharp while continuing to build and maintain muscle strength. I have been coming to epy snce 2014. It has never failed in keeping me flexible and as strong as I can be. Through several injuries including a fractured pubic bone I have been able to bounce back. I feel I am a healthy 79 year old because of luck and because I have taken Pilates and gyrotonics all these years.

You will simply not find another studio so dedicated to true alignment, precision, & ease. The trainers at EPY are of a different caliber. After a year of consistent pilates sessions, I am stronger & more confident in my ability to move freely after back injury. I have been practicing Pilates with Holly for so many years I can't count! She is very knowledgeable, professional, accommodating when I have pain or injuries, and very fun to be with! Working with Jenna one-on-one over several months built up my core and back strength to a point where about 90% of my chronic low back pain and neuropathy is gone. Jenna taught me how to engage my core and guided me in challenging my body to gain strength and stability. As an RN who has tried many approaches for low back pain and peripheral neuropathy over several years, I could not recommend instruction at EPY pilates enough!! They really took my unique situation, history of injury, and job duties into account to help get me to a better place, and I am so grateful!

I did most of my Pilates teacher training at EPY, because it is a Balanced Body training center. All of the master instructors are knowledgable, professional, and talented. The space is clean, warm and inviting, and has some of the best equipment there is. I highly recommend this studio for teacher trainings and for your own personal practice.

EPY Pilates has helped my body significantly through my Pilates practice. I've worked with Megan and Wahida and various other teachers over the years and everyone has been a wealth of knowledge about body mechanics. Through my regular Pilates practice I have greatly improved my core and overall strength which has changed my posture and alignment issues for the better! I gained so much out of my personal practice that I went on to learn more through the Balanced Body pilates teacher training program (with no intention of teaching) and somewhere along the way ended up teaching and working at EPY Pilates. It's safe to say I think very highly of all the teachers that work here and their knowledge.

I have been going to EPY Center every week for years. Gyrotonics is the only form of exercise that I do that I really look forward to. Actually, it doesn't even feel like exercise because Wahida turns it into a total body and soul experience. I've learned so much from Wahida about anatomy and how the body functions.
