Visiting from the East Coast, I had the pleasure to stop at this Equinox gym and book a massage with Luis. He's absolutely amazing! Do yourself a favor and book a massage with him.

While visiting CA, Coach Jayce recommended me to Damaris. She was amazing! I hadn't had a good massage in years, and it was much needed. Damaris did an amazing job! I left the gym feeling like a new person. I will definitely be back to see her!

Made the mistake of speaking to Juston about membership options. Decided not to join, and Justin continues spamming me with unwanted calls, text messages and offers. Do not give your information to Equinox unless you want unrelenting spam.

Aryana is an amazing coach who really breaks down the science behind fitness β from the math of how to lose weight to understanding proper nutrition and how workouts fit into the bigger picture of your fitness journey. She explains how each part works together so you can stay on track toward your end goals. On top of that, sheβs helped me improve my form in ways I never even thought about, and I feel so much more confident in my lifts now. Her clear explanations, smart corrections, and structured approach give me the confidence that Iβll continue making progress. Couldnβt ask for a better trainer!

Iβve been training with Aryana for 4 weeks, and the results have been incredible. She tailored each workout to my goals and always pushed me just enough to grow without risking injury. Her energy and professionalism kept me motivated, even on tough days. Sheβs very knowledgeable and is always fun to work with. Thanks to Aryana, I feel stronger, more confident, and healthier than ever.

Iβve been a member at the Glendale Equinox for over 1 year. Overall, the gym is great, but I really wanted to emphasize how amazing my experience was working with one of the personal trainers, Aryana. She is super knowledgeable, personable, and truly a great trainer. I worked with Aryana for a while, and she helped me a lot with nutrition and lifting, and always emphasizing the importance of sustainable habits and proper form. She tailored a fitness program to my goals and personal preferences and always made adjustments when needed. Not only did she physically challenge me every session, but we were having fun while working hard. With her guidance, I was able to lose 15 pounds, and Iβm grateful for the experience I had with her and everything she taught me. I now have more confidence in weight training than I had before.
Overall, I rate my experience with Aryana a 10/10. Equinox Glendale is great overall - they have great group fitness classes, equipment, and are very clean, however, the gym can get quite busy in the late afternoon/evenings.

I couldnβt be happier with my experience training with Aryana at Equinox! From the start, she took the time to understand my goals and formulated a personalized workout plan tailored to my needs. She not only focuses on exercises but also takes the time to go over nutritional needs such as water intake, protein intake, and overall wellness, making sure I get the most out of every session.
What I love most is that she makes workouts fun yet challenging. Aryana listens, adjusts sets accordingly, and ensures I maintain proper form, which is so important for preventing injuries.
Equinox itself is always clean, well-equipped, and has great amenities (shoutout to the delicious earthbar smoothies!). But the best part of my fitness journey has been working with Aryana. I genuinely look forward to my workouts every week and am excited to see my progress. If youβre thinking about getting a trainer, this is 100% the best decision Iβve made! πͺβ¨ Aryana is the best!!

Equinox gym has many strengths but one weakness for me. The good: great equipment and plenty of it in a clean surrounding. Polite and friendly staff. But the music doesnβt vary at all. Itβs a type with a loud and heavy baseline and itβs usually dance or tech type. And the volume is higher than necessary.

This is an excellent gym with a great atmosphere. Good diversity of different machines and equipment. Clean and aesthetic design throughout the locker rooms and overall gym. My personal trainer Jana Tourtellotte has helped me learn new workouts so my routine continues to challenge me. I have a noticeable difference in health working with her! I highly recommend training with her if you are struggling with motivation. Working out can be intimidating but she always makes me feel comfortable!!! I was stuck running on the treadmill, too scared to create an actual routine until I started working with her.

I had a great experience training with Gregor. He was very knowledgable and I got a lot out of just a few sessions a week. In a fairly short amount of time, I was able to make considerable progress with my goals. Gregor helped me correct my technique and form, and also provided me with new exercises that I hadnβt previously considered or known about.

Great club, always clean. Very good staff. Gregor Grigorian is a great trainer. I had a shoulder injury and Gregor completely fixed me. He studied my movements and came up with a workout plan that strengthened the muscles around the injury and stretches to helped me gain my movement back. Very professional and knowledgeable trainer, highly recommended.

This Equinox is smaller and has less amenities than some of the fancier locations in LA, but it has everything you'd expect from a good gym.
Staff: The front desk and fitness teams are always very friendly and happy to chat. The cleaning staff are constantly cleaning the towels and bathroom, but the floor mats could be sanitized better.
Location: Place is small and can get crowded, but it's not difficult finding a machine or free weights, and there are plenty of equipment add-ons and resistance implements to mix things up.
Classes: Good mix of strengthening, conditioning, yoga, and pilates mat. I've noticed other locations are much more cardio and cycling heavy.
I pay extra outside of my membership for personal training. My trainer, Romina, is awesome because she is super hands-on, encouraging, and constantly checks in on how I'm feeling. She has helped raise my confidence in the gym and has made my personal fitness journey much more enjoyable.

My experience at Equinox has been great especially training with Coach Alina. I had joined equinox for pilates and yoga, but ended up training with Alina. I feel more confident using weights and machines, and I have stayed at equinox because I have found a new passion in strength training. With just 4 months I feel stronger and have been staying more consistent. Definitely recommend beginning with Alina and at equinox Glendale.

Just an Average Equinox Gym.
Of course it's better than the average Gym but this is Equinox, it should be at least 4.8 on the Google rating scale not 3.6!
For the price it is Very overrated, you guys can do better.
One of the problems lies with the Ownership. I noticed that the owner only responds when there are five-star reviews. When anybody has a complaint of any kind he just ignores it, No initiative whatsoever.

Azeem Sheikh, who handles payments, has refused to stop charging my account or refund me for illegal charges. I injured my arm months ago, notified them, proved it to them, and they refuse to stop billing me. This is going to court, not for the money, but to get the right GM in place.

It's a nice looking gym but I have a few problems with it. WHY is there no sauna!? I would expect a luxury gym that's over $200 per month for a membership to have a sauna, basketball courts, pools and a jacuzzi...Also, I would think they'd have clean drinking water, but it's tap water.

Small. Under equipped. Rude members. Laughably overpriced. Horrible short hours. Down the street are 3 major gym brands, they may be considered βcheapβ but all 3 has extensively better equipment.
Update - they have improved their hours on weekends, which was a major motive for my negative review. Other issues remain and I still believe itβs overpriced but I appreciate the hours improving.

Nice place, but the fact that the steam room and showers close long before the gym does is preposterous for a luxury gym- even the Y keeps its facilities open until even after close. And the fact it closes at 9 pm doesn't really make it worth the price.

The good:
This gym is clean and doesn't smell like a sweat.
The gym is okay if group fitness is your thing. If you already pay to goto Rumble, Barre classes, and a spa separately then you can save some money by going here and taking the group fitness classes.
The Bad:
If you're not here for classes and the treadmills, be prepared to wait (my personal experience). I've been to 24 hour fitness (both of the Brand locations), Crunch Fitness in Burbank, Burbank Athletic Club, and Media Center Health Club and Equinox Glendale has the smallest weight area next to BaC. You'll find members supersetting or setting up workouts blocking areas meant for something else.
The parking here is awful. Sure the gym validates but it's a shared parking lot with other offices where they paint the lines super narrow. Do yourself a favor and just walk into the parking lot and look at the spaces and how cars are parked first.
If you're going to cost 3x as much as another gym, I would hope I wouldn't have to spend that much time waiting to use equipment.
The ugly:
This gym is a forced one year commitment. They will not cancel your membership for any reason unless you have proof that you moved 25 miles away from an Equinox location or get a doctor's note saying you can't workout for at least 6 months. The person selling you the membership will gloss over this, please pay attention and be sure you actually want to join. It's 2019, and even Bailey's fitness stopped this practice years ago.
Bottom Line: Do you love fitness classes and are you willing to commit to doing this for over a year. Yes? Then this gym is clean and might be what you want.
If not, literally any other commercial gym would be more cost effective. Crunch Burbank or 24 hour Super Sport would have the equivalent amount of equipment (or more) at 1/3 the price with no contract if you can live without the eucalyptus scented towels.

This is the absolute worst location. Customer service was good at first after they got to know you the enthusiasm went down. They give you this sassy attitude, as if they are from "Mean Girls" the maintenance staff is the best thing about this gym. They are down to earth humble unlike the worst who are the trainers, they give you this scumbag sales man smile. (Except Carly)
Worst management ever! The general manager is most unprofessional manger Iβve come in contact with.
The only reason why I'm not giving this place ONE star is because of the maintenance team. This place feels like it's run by kids it's like high school. Full of gossip and fake smiles.
I have a problem with the general manager because he is the last person who should be managing of anything, he should workout in another location he has a lot of bias behavior.
HERE IS A WARNING, don't be friends with any of the employees. Just "hello" and "goodbye"
They are flirtatious and date the members, after my encounter I wish I could cancel my membership. I wish I could say more. If only this is the summary of this location.

Not worth the money they charge you. Here's why:
-You usually can't get into classes because they fill up. This is one of the biggest problems with this gym.
-Closes too early. For an example, they close at 7pm on the weekends.
-Very small and too crowded. If's about 1/4 the size of a typical 24 hr fitness but just as busy. You'll wait for at least half of the weight machines and cardio machines. I don't want to pay $200/month for this type of experience.
-2 hr limit on parking. Since getting out of the parking takes 10 plus minutes on typical hours most people work out, you better make sure you leave the gym with at least 15 minutes to spare. Granted, you may not want to stay more than 2 hours at a gym. But, If you are doing a class then, stretch and some strength training or cardio, you may be there for 2 hrs or more. Why deal with the stress of betting out of there in 2 hours.
-It doesn't look like a gym that costs $175-200/month. When you pay that much money, you expect something that looks better than a place that charges $40/month. This gym doesn't.

I went there to check the fitness center, and I told them i need a month to month membership, because i am not so sure if this is the club for me.
The membership enforced me to sign up a 12 month lease and not to worry, it will be cancelled if i didn't like it, or if i didn't use the services.
That was a trap, I should of known.
Fitness center should not be a stressful experience, but it has become one.

This is the best Equinox club I have been to. The staff here are extremely friendly (including management). For example, the personal training manager can often be seen walking through the club, handing out towels to individuals who are working out, answering questions about equipment available in the club, and introducing himself to the members. The membership advisers are friendly, but not pushy and seem to genuinely endorse the product or experience they are selling. The front staff make sure to greet you by name. The group fitness instructors are great (the ones I don't like as much just aren't my match, but others love them). There's a good variety of classes available and the locker rooms are spacious and clean.

Came in on a guest pass for yoga. Beautiful gym, spa-like locker rooms, and top notch equipment (all manduka, even with their nice mat towels). I don't know if I would ever join here because the membership cost is so high. My yoga class was a bit too full (Saturday, 12:30), and the instructor wasn't quite chill enough for my taste. She would harp on the class for form issues and was just a bit short and demanding. Totally fine for other types of fitness classes, but yoga should be a different experience. The way she interacted with newer students seemed a bit patronizing as well. Nothing too bad, just doesn't make me excited to return.
