We have successfully worked with a group of diverse individuals with varying goals including: fat-loss, muscle-building, bodybuilding, and other sport-related fitness goals. Just finished my first 3 months at Exhilarate Performance Center working with Personal Trainer Adam To who is amazing. Im 54 years old and not in good shape and needed someone who can help create a program that pushes me yet keeps me safe from injuring myself. Adam customizes my work outs to my skill level, which is beginning, and makes sure Im doing things safely and learning good form. I already feel stronger and proud of what I've accomplished so far. The private gym is very clean, equipment is quality, the air is chilly and the music keeps the heart pumping. Both Adam and Zack work their clients with a positive and supportive energy. A gym can be an intimidating place for an older, non-athletic woman who has had back, knee and feet issues and is overweight. This gym and these trainers treat people with respect and everyone leaves sweaty and smiling.

As a new mom getting back into fitness, working with Adam has been a game-changer! He is super knowledgeable, encouraging, and creates effective workouts that are specifically tailored to my goals. The sessions are always challenging in the best way, but also flexible and thoughtful which is perfect for a new mom or someone juggling a busy schedule. It is easy to tell Adam loves what he does and is a veteran in training all types of people at every skill level. I have been able to gain so much core strength and energy back in such a short time. I love this place! Starting off with the gym itself; top notch equipment (a lot that you won’t find in other gyms), clean and the layout is organized intentionally to give each member enough space. Appreciate that the coaches don’t overpack the space so you never have to worry about waiting for a machine/area. There’s a fridge with preworkout/electrolytes and fountain so there’s always cold water during workouts.
For coaches, Adam and Zach are very professional and knowledgeable in their field. I’ve been working out for over 15+ years (basic knowledge) but finally able to learn how to properly lift without anymore shoulder pain. I am also learning techniques that don’t aggravate my body while able to lift more.
Adam is my personal trainer and words don’t do him justice. He’s fully invested in my health and growth in both strength training and as a person. He will push me to my limits but also adjust exercises on the spot when needed. He educates me on the function and technique for each exercise. In the short amount of time I’ve been at exhilarate I can honestly say it was a catalyst to me taking my health more seriously and finally getting the results I’ve been looking for.
I lost hope in finding/paying for personal training because I didn’t think it was worth it from previous experiences but I finally found my the perfect spot.

This is a great spot if you want to get in shape! I've been going here for 4+ years and Adam and Zack are the best trainers! They really pay attention to the small details and I never feel like it's too crowded or I'm not getting the attention I'm paying for. Adam is a great trainer and I have really enjoyed working with him. I have hit many fitness personal records in the last year.
Working with him increased my confidence in handling heavy weights with good form. I recommend him to anyone interested in resistance training and becoming physically strong and confident!

I started training with Adam in June 2014. I needed to tone up and Adam was just the trainer to help me!
Adam started with showing me how to track my calories according to my weight and exercise routine.
He let me see that I did not have to abandon my love of food to be healthy. He showed me that I could balance healthy eating with the foods that I love. Of course there will be sacrifices in order to lose weight, but at least I did not have to give up everything I love to eat (eggrolls, chips, anything fried, and the list goes on and on).
Adam is such an attentive and creative trainer. His sessions are never boring and always kick my butt.
Adam changes up his session each time, working different muscle groups, with different exercise routines. He is flexible and always tried to work around my schedule. He pays attention to me while I perform the different exercises to ensure sure that l am doing the exercise correctly, that I maximize my potential, and that I do not injure myself. He always pushes me to give 110% but still is cognizant to give me some time to breathe if he sees that I am winded.
I always feel exhausted during and after a work out session with Adam. He makes every session worth every minute of my time!
Besides just being a trainer, Adam really care about his clients. He routinely checks up on me to see how l am doing in general and with my food tracking.
Adam also never hesitates to tell his clients when there is a good sale or deal on sports products!
I have seen results much faster with Adam by my side helping me train and showing me how to eat better. Highly recommend Adam & EPC to anyone looking to take their fitness to the next level!

EPC was a well-designed gym that also had a very clean interior, the machines are high-quality, and feels top-notch. On top of that, the personal trainer, Zack, was absolutely phenomenal very knowledgeable, motivating, and made the workout experience awesome! Adam is a great coach and personal trainer located in OC! I came to Adam months before my wedding to get in shape and lose a little bit of stagnant weight I couldn't get rid of. Training with Adam helped me reach my goal and much more! 11 years and 2 kids later I’m still training with Adam.
This is not a weight loss program but a way of life and new mindset. I've learned so much about health and fitness with Adam. I trained twice a week and logged my calories everyday. I'm a total food junkie and I thought it would be impossible for me, but Adam taught me how to make smart choices and still be able to eat the food I love!!
That's the best part, eat my ice cream and still look fit and feel great, I'm totally for that!!! (Not a gimmick either, I truly still ate chips and ice cream!) I made smart choices to cut things that weren't necessary in order to indulge once in a while in my favorite foods.
Adam truly cares about the work he does and enjoys sharing his knowledge. He's great at molding the training to each client and adjusting where it is needed. I started out with really bad exercised induced asthma, but the more I trained the better my lung capacity and breathing became. Adam knew when to back off a little to let my breathing catch up and when to push me. I never thought I would ever flip tires and lift weights and still have fun doing it!
If you have a goal to reach, Adam will help you get there!

I have been training with Adam at EPC for about 2 years now. As a 45-year-old starting weight training for the first time, I was initially worried about injuries and whether my body could handle it. Working with Adam has completely put those fears to rest. Adam takes the time to understand each of his client’s fitness level, lifestyle, goals and priorities and then creates a personalized plan for each client. He explains each exercise clearly, including what muscles I should feel working, which has helped me understand proper form and feel confident in my workouts.
One of the things I appreciate most is Adam’s ability to personalize and progress my training. As I have become stronger, he comes up with new and creative ways to make the workouts more challenging. At the same time, he’s very mindful of my physical condition and energy level each session. If he sees that I need to dial it back, he adjusts accordingly. It’s impressive how well he remembers each client’s strength level, what weights they’re using, and how observant he is—he can tell just by watching how much more (or less) someone can handle. His experience really shows.
The gym itself is excellent— very clean, never overcrowded, and it truly feels like a supportive community. Zach, the other trainer at EPC, is always checking in on me as well. That extra level of care really makes a difference. Zach also makes him available to train with if I can’t make my schedule work with Adam, so my training and progress is uninterrupted.
My strength has improved noticeably, not just in the gym but also in my basketball game and golf game. My overall physique has toned up, and I feel much more energized and less sluggish day to day. I am in the best shape of my life now in my late 40’s thanks to Adam and EPC.
Highly recommend EPC, Adam and Zach, especially if you’re new to weight training or nervous about getting started. When you join EPC, you can trust that you are in good hands.

I live in Costa Mesa and I first came to Adam looking to get in shape and meet my fitness goals six months prior to my wedding. I just wanted to fit my suit better & that’s the extent that I thought I would be using Adam’s services. It’s been 8 months since my wedding, and I am still with Adam. I’ve gotten much stronger. I started training with Adam about a year ago to add some weight training to supplement swimming (I swim masters 3–5x a week). I’ve seen such a difference—not just in strength, but in how I feel in the water and my overall fitness.
Adam takes the time to understand your goals and writes programs that are challenging. He's always pushing you to give your best while balancing it with meeting you where you're at so we always do a checkin at the beginning of each session to gauge my energy levels and any injuries.
It's super convenient to have a private gym and not have to wait for equipment to be available. I also love not having to come up with workouts on my own. I would def recommend for all levels.

Adam To is one of the most efficient and effective personal trainers you'll ever get! I've been training with him and he's kept me on track for a little over a year, building strength for my last varsity basketball season.
Some highlights about Adam's personal training: while taking part in a session with him, he'll continuously motivate you until the last set. Also, he'll push you to work harder than you normally would if you worked out alone. One time, Adam helped me back-squat 275 when I usually do 225. He helped me gain weight, mass, and strength. His methods to motivating his clients varies with each individual; some need more of it than others.
His online tutorials are very helpful as he provides descriptive do's and don'ts in the caption. It really makes you want to get the form down. All of these tips on his Instagram business page are easily accessible and may allow you to avoid possible injuries.
Aesthetic Bodies OC has certain qualities that defines itself apart from 24 Hour Fitness. Such as the trainer-to-client relationship; I feel that since 24 Hour Fitness is such a large company, there's a lack of connection between the client and the personal trainer. Adam seems like he actually cares for his clients but he also establishes a fine line between being personal and professional.
I highly recommend that those who feel like they need a personal trainer, some extra motivation, an efficient workout regimen, someone to set you on the right fitness path through balanced nutrition and scheduled workouts, to call up Adam To. You won't regret any workout with him.

Training at EPC is one of the best investments I have made in my health and wellness.
I highly recommend both Adam and Zack as personal trainers. I’ve been training with Adam twice a week for about 10 months, and the progress I’ve made has been incredible. I started as a complete beginner, and now I feel stronger and more confident, and I actually enjoy going to the gym. I’ve also had sessions with Zack a few times, and he is an excellent trainer as well.
Both Adam and Zack are extremely knowledgeable and prioritize good form and safety. Every session is personalized to each person’s body and goals, and no two sessions are ever the same. I enjoy the variety and have learned many new movements and exercises. They also have unique equipment you won’t find in many gyms.

This review is premature as I signed up for six months with Adam and am only at the three month mark, but I can't resist adding my review and 5 stars now! 3 months in and I'm down 30 Ibs!!!! This would have never been possible without coach Adam!
I am a police officer and my job relies on my fitness. I have had several injuries (2 knee surgeries, a bad back from years of wearing a heavy gun belt, constant elbow pain, etc, etc), and he worked around these injuries towards my improvement. I can do exercises I never thought I would be able to do, even with these past injuries.
I had the typical excuses: a wife, 3 kids, a wacky work schedule and life in general. I finally realized I needed to hire somebody and boy did I make the right choice. I needed to do something for me for once and boy what an experience. Talk about having fun and having positive results at the same time! His 80/20 rule regarding clients' diet is totally manageable! I never feel as if I'm missing out. He has taught me how to eat within reason and plan for outings where I know I will indulge and drink
Adam's passion for his clients' success is tangible!
I will periodically text Coach Adam various questions about work outs, shoes, diet, etc. and he never fails to respond with an extremely detailed and knowledgeable response!
I've felt the best, both physically and mentally, than I have in several years. He's constantly pushing you, and, all the while, being friendly and respectful!
I was intimated going to a personal trainer but he has made my fear disappear and now I am constantly looking forward to how many days until he trains me again!

I have been training With Adam since Feb 2019, 2 months after my second baby born. I was FAT, seriously overweight and post pregnancy look. It was never easy to step out the first step especially I haven't trained in a long time. I knew Adam through a very dear friend and I signed up for the free
consultation. Adam is professional and loves to share the workout knowledge. He built up my file, did the assessment. My goal is to reduce fat And increase lean muscle, and be a physically and mentally stronger woman/ mom. I am glad that he is always there to cheer me up and instruct me the most efficient way.
In the past 7 months, I lost nearly 30 lbs, body fat dropped from 31% to 24%. I know I am still not in the best shape, but I am much much happier than before, and full of energy. I have a stronger will to face any obstacles in life and work. My skin is glowing , according to my friend, even I didn't do any Botox.
Anyway I am still training with Adam, and will continue for as long as I can. I highly recommend EPC, Adam & Zack to those looking to take their training to the next level, and do it correctly with these amazing professionals. 10/10!

I have been with Adam for going on 10+ years. From when he first started as an understudy at next level fitness, when he was under aesthetic bodies OC, and now that he was able to open up his own fitness studio/facility here at exhilarate performance center. Why have I been with him for so long you ask ?
That’s simple… it is his un-withering dedication to his craft, his absolute authentic care/love for all of his clients, how creative and innovative he is when it comes to creating programs and systems that cater to the exact goal(s) that you want to achieve/accomplish, the white glove service and so much more that he provides, and all the tools and machines that he utilizes in order to maximize your personal results.
I am 48yrs old, and I am in better shape now that when I was in my 20s which is when I started my fitness journey back in college. I have tendinitis in my left shoulder, left knee pain from time to time, and have lost a lot of my mobility and flexibility over the years. Adam has helped me to gain my mobility and flexibility back, focused on surrounding areas and muscles to help strengthen my knee, and come up with ways to work around my shoulder issue while still effectively getting the maximum out of my upper body workouts.
Adam is a true student of the game and is always coming up with new exercises and things to elevate me to the next level while making sure that I never hit a plateau.
I have done boot camp, had a personal trainer in the past when I lived in AZ, worked out at the gym, etc.
Nothing has provided me with sustained results and the ability to maintain muscle mass and continue to get stronger as I near the age of 50.
If you want to get long lasting results, have a trainer that is more than qualified, someone who actually and genuinely cares for your overall health and well being, and will be your biggest cheerleader and supporter throughout your entire process…
then look no further as there is simply no other trainer or facility that does what Adam does while going beyond just being a “stereotypical” or “typical” trainer, and looking simply/only at bringing on a client just for the sake of bringing on a client or just to keep the lights on if you know what I mean!

Exhilarate Pertormance Center is truly incredible, l've undergone a profound transformation over the past three years. Under the guidance of Coach Adam, I've experienced a metamorphosis.

I’ve been training with Zack at EPC for the past couple of months, and as someone who’s completely new to fitness, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Adam is a coach who believes in a holistic approach to fitness, where functionality and mobility are stressed at every point in his training. I came to him thinking I would just go for the big lifts and gain mass with a simple program but was presented with a much better alternative with my total health and mobility in mind. In 3 months (June 2017), I improved my overall strength and physique through a variety of exercises I learned (l gained 10 lbs!!) . Adam's wealth of knowledge combined with state of the art fitness equipment (many of which you will not find in most commercial gyms) provides for the perfect environment for you to reach your fitness goals. I've been going to EPC for a year now and am happy with my results. I've worked with both Adam and Zack and found them to be personable and knowledge about fitness. Zack is able to tailor my workouts to accommodate any issues I have. He pushes to improve myself in all areas of my life.
The facility includes weights and machines. Since it's a private gym, there's no waiting to use the equipment. The gym is clean and air conditioned. There is plenty of parking in front and behind the gym.

have been training with Coach Adam for 7 months. t's been an amazing journey every step of the way. So much that i recruited my partner to join me in this journey as well. I found out about Aesthetic Bodies by going down one of those deep dives on IG looking up old classmates/friends from high school that happened to be a former client of Coach Adam's (like "oh i wonder how such and such is doing." LOL I'M A CREEP). I was SO DARN impressed by her results thatI followed the Aesthetic Bodies 0C IG account. A combination of inconsistency in my workout plan/diet and scouring his IG to look at other clients' results fueled me to bite the bullet and reach out for his personal training services. It's the best investment I've made for my body and health this year.
Prior to training with Coach Adam, had always been intimidated by the gym. I was one of those people that would steer clear of free weights and machines, only to stick solely to the elliptical. 7 months in, I can confidently say with Coach Adam's guidance and motivation, that is definitely not the case anymore. With the workouts he teaches during our sessions, can incorporate them into my schedule when I'm on travel.
Update: I've been with Adam going on 7 years and always learning from his expertise. I won't leave EPC because it's the only gym I feel comfortable and safe lifting heavy. New DL PR: 315 lbs. What are you waiting for? This could be your home away from home!

I don't know what I can say that hasn't been said repeatedly by other members! I have been a client of Zack for about 5-6 months and it has been such a great experience. He is very knowledgeable, not only about fitness, but nutrition, forming good habits and overall bettering yourself. I appreciate his patience and humor when I'm whining and rolling my eyes at him. I have always been pretty active by rock climbing, volleyball, pilates and yoga but just never had proper instruction on how to workout with weights and most gym equipment. I initially came in to get fit for aesthetic reasons and while I'm slowly but surely getting there, I was so happy to see these workouts vastly improve my strength in my other sports. Zack has me do exercises that I would never have even thought of doing myself or that would benefit me, but I am now able to do things in climbing that I have never been able to do and areas that I thought were "painful/injured" were just weak :P Zack has also helped me target these areas to get stronger and what a difference it has made. I kept putting off getting a personal trainer for years because I thought I knew enough and had enough resources to do it on my own. It wasn't until a friend of mine in a previous similar situation kept stressing how beneficial this place would be for me and how much getting a personal trainer is an investment that is worth it. AND IT IS!! Very, very grateful for Zack, Adam, and EPC!!

I’ve been training with Adam on and off for over nine years. I first worked with him at a different location in Orange County before coming back to Exhilarate Performance Center about a month and a half ago. It was February of 2022, and my older sister was on the hunt for a personal trainer. Having done her Internet research, she was going to do in-person consults with a few highly reviewed coaches, and she asked if I would like to tag along.
I had recently cancelled my gym membership, but even before the pandemic, I had used it so rarely that my father joked my membership fees were basically monthly donations. So, I told my sister I would accompany her on her consults, more out of curiosity than out of any real desire to get fit.
The fitness trainers all seemed nice and competent, but nothing stood out about any of them. Then we met Adam, and it was clear that he was different. Adam was friendly, professional, experienced, and knowledgeable, but most importantly, he was sincere. It did not feel like he was trying to sell us anything or telling us what he thought we wanted to hear. Adam kept it real. He did not make false promises about turning us into JLo (my sister's idol) lookalikes in six months, but he did guarantee that if we were committed and remained consistent, then we would become stronger, healthier, and better versions of ourselves. My sister and I both realized that this was a promise that we could believe made by someone whom we could trust. And that is why Adam became the best and only choice.
It is now February of 2025, and I have been Adam's client for nearly 3 years. For someone who had never regularly exercised before in her life, my fast approaching three-year mark boggles my mind. In the spirit of keeping it real, I am not going to pretend that I adore strength training. It is hard work; some days suck, and you will find me fake crying and complaining through many a workout. But I HAVE learned to appreciate it. I appreciate that it has reduced my lower back pain, lowered my body fat percentage, and motivated me to adopt healthy habits outside of the gym (e.g., increasing my mobility, sleeping early, improving my diet). Most of all though, I appreciate that after completing a grueling, 1 to 1.5 hour session, I feel a sense of pride and achievement unlike anything else.
Whether it is 6 am or 6 pm, Adam's gym is always a safe and welcoming space. As a petite woman who often felt overwhelmed and intimidated in crowded gyms, this is something I never take for granted. Adam surrounds himself with team members like Coach Zack, who are as kind, respectful, and supportive as he is. I may often leave the gym feeling like my arms are noodles, but I always leave feeling good about myself.
Adam's secret superpower is his instinctive ability to know when clients need to be pushed to challenge themselves versus when they need to be pulled back to rest and recover. He answers my endless questions about exercise and nutrition and even draws diagrams to explain complicated concepts. (I am convinced he moonlights as a nutritionist.) He cheers me on with sarcasm and wit, when I feel like I could not do another reverse lunge if my life depended on it. He offers a fist bump for every PR, no matter how small it may seem (doing unassisted push-ups for the first time), because progress is always worth celebrating.
Over the past three years, Adam has become so much more than a trainer and coach; he has become a mentor and a friend. And he has kept his promise: I am a stronger, healthier, and better ME.

I have been a client of Adams for about 3-4 months now. I attend 2 sessions a week after work. this review has been long overdue probably due to my constant battle from dieting. hahaha, jokes aside.
After a vacation to Asia, constant binge eating and drinking. I decided that i needed a change. Fat me decided to reach out to Adam on Instagram. Reaching out for a consultation was the hard part for me, the consultation/interview was very welcoming and informative.
From Day 1, Adam has been informative and laid out a workout plan due to my shoulder and back injuries. He explained and demonstrated workouts to me that will assist me with muscle growth and grip strength.
Due to having rotator cuff surgery on my should a few years ago, my mobility has never been close to 100 percent. We work on mobility and strengthening.
The work he does goes beyond just a gym session. He follows up with me weekly to assist me with nutritional and dieting tips.

Wow what a journey. I was very skinny my whole life up until meeting coach Adam in 2023. He completely changed my life around! He gave me basic diet recommendations but the main driver was the functional workout regimen he placed me on. I packed on roughly 30 lbs of lean muscle in these last 3 years! Coach Adam is quite busy (he has loads of clients and new referrals) so sometimes Coach Zack hops on and takes over. Both coaches are fantastic and very communicative! I have random questions and they respond in a timely manner. I have no plans to join any competitions right now but will most likely in the future. Really hoping this facility doesn’t get TOO busy haha, it will take away precious personal time and rapport I built over the years with the coaches. But I can’t be selfish! Plenty of people are seeking ways to improve their health and I’m sure Exhilarate Performance Center will get even busier. Maybe they’ll hire a new coach 🤔

Training with Adam has resulted in an incredible physical and mental transformation.
My initial goals were to: lose body fat, gain muscle definition, and learn how to take care of my body from a exercise & nutrition lens.
And while I met all those goals, including dropping from 18.6% to 14.9% body fat in 10 weeks, there was so much intrinsic value gained, including:
Confidence:
For one of the rare times in my life, I felt SUPER confident in my own body - I was so proud of how I looked and felt. And confident at the gym. The squat rack or dumbbell rack no longer intimidated me, and I knew what I was doing.
Nutrition:
I understood how my body responded to certain types of food, and learned how to prep meals that were low in calories but allowed me to feel full, especially when I was preparing for my photoshoot.
Mindset towards progress:
And each time I hit a PR, Adam would celebrate me with so much enthusiasm. Even if it was adding weight, an additional rep, a 0.5% decrease of body fat. All progress counts. I earned that you can choose to feel good and proud of yourself WHENEVER you experience growth, no matter how "small" it is. You don't have to wait until you get a 6 pack to feel good. You can feel good if you go from assisted pushups, to bodyweight pushups, to pushups with additional weight on your back.

I've heard about Adam from some of my friends who've trained with him and had gotten great results so I had to check it out for myself. Working an 8 hour shift everyday at the office leaves me exhausted and all I want to do when I get home is lay down and watch Netflix. I would tell myself

Best decision I have made!
I started training back in July 2024 from couch to gym after many months of being unhappy with my sedentary lifestyle. I had gained some weight but more than that I felt sluggish and weak. I met both Adam and Zack for an intro lesson and knew from that 1 meeting we were locking this in: this is where I wanted to train.
I knew nothing going in and I’m sure looked like a deer in the headlights that first day, but Adam and Zack’s genuine kindness made me feel comfortable enough to take the plunge and I am so glad I did.
I signed up for private sessions 2 times a week with Zack and I am still in awe 6 months later of how consistent I have been and I owe it all to Zack. There is no better personal trainer than Adam. He is incredibly knowledgeable, listens to you, pushes you, motivates you but most importantly, you see results. I started with Adam when I lacked motivation to workout on my own, wanted to get in shape and just needed an overall change. When I became pregnant, he knew exactly how to accommodate me with safe exercises and trained me well into my third trimester. For those moms out there, you know the postpartum body struggle is real. I took about two years off after having a baby so I needed his training and expertise more than ever post-pregnancy/post-quarantine and I have lost 20 pounds so far. My husband and I have been working out with Adam for almost 9 months now. Admittedly, we had reached out to Adam initially because we wanted to lose weight and become toned for our wedding. Not only did Adam help us crush our goal in helping us look and feel our best selves for our big day, he has helped us look at our health and fitness in a more sustainable way.
Initially when I used to workout or diet, I was very into fads or quick fixes, and never could find anything that could stick. I was constantly yo-yoing with my weight and I never really enjoyed working out either and felt it more like an obligation. All of this changed after we started spending more time with Adam. We became super informed about nutrition and understood the purpose behind every movement.

Where do I even begin with Adam.. He's simply amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. I first got introduced to Adam's services through a friend who I noticed was starting to look really fit and transformed before my very eyes...and inspired me to want the same for myself. My friend sent me to Adam's yelp page and I decided to pull the trigger and try it out for myself.
In the 9 months I've been seeing Adam, I've seen much progress and improvement in myself as I work towards my fitness goals and I certainly have Adam to thank for that. Previously, I would go to the gym (on and off) on my own and tried other coaches/programs in the past but I either (1) didn't see the results I wanted and/or (2) eventually left the gym/coach/program because it eventually proved to be too intense for me and was eventually over it. I'm currently still an active client of Adam's and I don't foresee that changing anytime soon. Adam has a way of challenging you but not in a drill sergeant sort of way; he's encouraging (even though I'm definitely crying on the inside after every session with him... Haha). He holds you accountable. And he takes a holistic approach to your fitness in that your progress doesn't stop at the gym and with what you eat but it's also a mental thing too so he also asks you about the highs/accomplishments you've experienced on anything that day or week to ensure you appreciate and acknowledge the wins similar to the mini wins on your fitness journey.
When you first meet with Adam, he gets to know you as far as your goals and where you are from a fitness and nutrition perspective. He also gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you have about fitness in general. He then walks you through his coaching style and begins to teach and explain the game plan on how you'll work together to reach your fitness goal. That's what I really like about Adam from the start... That he really takes his time with you, listens and explains the "why" on what you'll be doing from a fitness perspective (in the gym) and nutrition perspective. For me, I explained to Adam the road blocks and pitfalls I've experienced with other coaches and diet/nutrition plans and he really customized his plan for me so that it's both optimized to reach my own goals but also somewhat modified in a way so that I can more likely stick with.
Once you start sessions with Adam, you'll find that he'll challenge you but he understands your limitations (like if you're a novice at the gym for example). But know it won't be easy and will never be "easy" since easy doesn't deliver results but at least Adam will help you through it. I see Adam in semi-private sessions so there are usually about 2-3 other clients in the same session but Adam customizes everyone's plan based on their goals so everyone is doing their own thing. Adam does a great job in balancing his time appropriatly between clients.
I'm addition to being a great coach, he's super easy to talk to and has become a great friend! He creates a great environment and provides you all the tools and guidance to reach your goals as long as you do your part in the journey.
In summary -- highly recommend. 5 stars. :)

My official start date with Adam was back on 6/3/14. I have been involved with fitness and working out since 1999-2000. I even had a personal trainer for about 3yrs when I used to live in Arizona before I moved back to California in 2006-2007. I even went through the in home DVD workout phase (P90x back to back) due to pure boredom with routine/same ol same ol workouts at the gym. I was looking for a complete change, something totally different that would allow me to get to a whole new level of fitness. I have definitely gotten that and a whole lot more during these 2 months worth of training.
Prior to my official start date, I had a very thorough one-on-one consultation with Adam in which I provided specific detail as to what my goals are and what I am looking to accomplish. Adam is an extremely attentive person and he is super chill and laid back. He keeps it 100% real and authentic at all times, no beating around the bush and sugar coating which is HUGE for me.
Adam even took the time to give me a call the night before and provided me with key information such as what type of food scale to buy, downloading the myfitness pal app which I had never even heard of previously, what type of shoes I would need to get in order to achieve the maximum results from each workout, and so much more.
Adam just has a way of making you feel at ease and super comfortable regardless of whatever level of fitness you may be at.
Adam is like an encyclopedia of non-stop information. I learned more from our phone call and initial consultation that I had ever known previously. Just an example, during our initial consultation, Adam took body measurements from about 6-7 different spots and thoroughly explained the reason behind each measurement.
I was under the impression that it was only 3 major spots max.
I learned about macros and micros, how to track my calories, fat, carbs, and protein intake through the myfitness pal app. Adam would always stay on top of me, check in with me from time to time and make sure that I was on track. He also had me weight myself at the start of each new week and provide him with the info in order for him to either keep my numbers the same (calories, carbs, protein, and fat) or tweak if necessary.
Adam is always available, extremely flexible, and super prompt in getting back to you via text message or a phone call.
Adam is extremely organized with his workouts, explains in detail the purpose for each and every single exercise, and has his attention on you at all times to make sure that your form is on point in order to achieve the maximum result from each set/rep.
Adam has a unique ability to understand each and every single one of his clients and what each person can or can not do. He knows when to push and when to back off.
What he is, is a compassionate, caring, attention to detail, organized, kind, and thorough trainer. Trust me, this guy has the IT factor, he truly gets it and knows what he is doing at all times.
Don't get me wrong, he will push you and definitely challenge you to be the best that you can be. I personally like a trainer that is going to challenge me and kick my butt every single time that we workout together.
Adam keeps it new and fresh every single time. You will never ever be bored or feel as if you have plateaued. Just when you think you can't do anymore or push any harder, you find yourself getting over each single obstacle and hurdle, the biggest of which is your MIND.
That's what I enjoy the most about Adam. He is completely personable, truly goes out of his way for each and every single one of his clients, always has a positive attitude and a smile on his face, so compassionate about what he is doing, and 110% committed and passionate about his craft.
If you follow his instructions, do your best each and every single time, truly listen and follow his advice and words of wisdom, be coachable, and watch your numbers - there is absolutely no possible way that you will not get results beyond your wildest dreams.

When I first read the reviews here, I was skeptical about all the 5-star ratings. My previous experiences with personal trainers were always monotonous and uninspired. I'd start out motivated and give up after a few months because of non-existent results, injury, or boredom. I couldn't reconcile my previous experiences at other gyms with the ratings other Yelp users were giving this place. Curiosity mandated that I learn more, if only so that I could call BS.
After almost 3 months with Adam, I still look forward to going every day. Going to sessions 4 days/week, I started to see and feel results after about a month; however, the most important change for me was in my overall feeling about exercise. In the past, I had never associated gym-based exercise with fun. Adam and the people here make all the difference.
Adam has made the most incredible impact on my life. He is passionate, knowledgeable, and motivating providing the tools necessary to ensure you are getting the most out of the time you are putting in. I don't always love how fast our hour goes by, but I'm always thankful for it afterwards when I can feel and see my improvements.
Beyond just helping people get in shape, Adam has cultivated a strong sense of community among his clients and members at Next Level Fitness. They have built a big family of people and continue to welcome anyone looking for a place to belong. I’ve been working with Adam for over a year now, and the entire experience has been great
He’s a great trainer because he gets results. He has tons of experience working with a variety of demographics with different fitness goals... once you start working out with him, you’ll run into other clients and see just how diverse his clientele is. (And you’ll be inspired by seeing their progress too!) He always has variations or progressions ready to make sure you’re getting the most effective workout. And he is super diligent about safety and good form — he’s constantly assessing and modifying your movements
It’s impressive that he has such a busy schedule, with so many clients, but he has never been late or mixed up an appointment time. He’s organized, professional and extremely good at what he does.

I train with Adam and my friend twice a week and it's the something I look forward to after a long day at work. Adam is responsive, positive and passionate about fitness and nutrition! He fosters a positive environment through his actions and words. He is also patient and attentive in being a hands on coach with providing guidance in correcting my form and also explaining what we are doing when doing a specific exercise. In the past 3 months that we have trained together, I am down 9% body fat and 6lbs in body weight.
Prior to training with Adam, I was trying to lose weight on my own, but knew that it was time for a change when I had not seen progress over several months. I completed 10 sessions of personal training at 24 Hour Fitness, but found myself bored due to the repetitiveness of the same arm, leg, and core routine each week (often the change was in the reps and weights). I also wanted to find someone who could also help me with my nutrition and also challenge me to step outside of my comfort zone. After talking to Adam during our consultation, I knew that he would be the best resource in helping me to get back in shape.
Thank you Adam for helping me get leaner & stronger and also educating me about nutrition when I thought eating too much fruit would be bad! I would have never tried pulls ups or the squat rack on my own, but am excited of the progress that we have had together!

Typical story: used to be super active in high school early college then the adulting stressors and excuses set it. Went to the gym here and there but nothing consistent. When I get engaged, that's when I was "motivated" to start. Bring in Adam - I let him know that losing weight was an added plus but my primary goal was to fix my posture. He was completely honest; losing the weight will be about 6 months but the posture was going to take 8-12mo at least.
Currently 3 months in, I have lost 7% body fat! & the shoulder and lower back pain I used to have from sitting all day at work is no longer persistently present. I'm currently able to fit dresses I haven't been able to squeeze into for the last two years!
I want to say it's because I'm such a hard worker and made all those huge changes to committing to this healthier lifestyle but that definitely did not happen. I do make more conscious decisions about what I eat and make an effort to hit the gym outside of my training BUT it is mainly due to the fact that Adam is such a great resource even when I'm not in his presence. His knowledge, commitment and support is extremely humbling and I'm eternally grateful for him and this experience.

Signing up with Adam was the best decision i made in my life, i was so heavy into fitness i really became unmotivated as i was completely clueless as to where to begin my fitness journey again, I’d walk into gym and have no idea where to begin!
I reached out to Adam and he has helped me tremendously in such a short period of time, i feel motivated, encouraged to continue and get my body right again and also learning what works best for my body.

If you would've asked me 6 months ago if I wanted to go work out, I would've said HA, NO. Hard pass. Thanks but no thanks. Skrttt skrttt. SEE YA BYEEE. No kidding, that was exactly how I felt about the gym. Well, I got tired of feeling that way. I knew that in order to get what I want, I had to WORK for it. My only problem was that I didn't know how. The gym was intimidating, I've never picked up weights, and the machines were my only friends (or more like acquaintances you know but don't really say hi to). Then enters Adam.
There's a reason why Adam has 5 stars on Yelp. He is the REAL DEAL. Anybody can direct you and tell you what to do at the gym but Adam goes above and beyond, coming up with personalized workouts made to fit YOUR goals. I remember seeing another client run on the treadmill and I asked him, "Why don't you ever make me do that?" He said, "Because losing fat isn't your your primary goal, your goal is to build lean muscle mass so we're going to be working with weights to help you achieve that." He really listens to you and is passionate about helping you reach your goals. He celebrates small achievements while working towards bigger ones. Just when I think I'm done, he always shows me that I'm capable of so much more. He is truly dedicated to his craft and I couldn't have been happier with him as my coach.
To anybody looking into personal training, it is WORTH IT. Especially with a trainer like Adam. Sure, it's not the cheapest thing in the world but it's an investment. In these short 6 months, I've learned way more from Adam than I could ever learn from YouTube videos or IG posts. -I started my fitness journey in 2008, which includes training independently, with friends/significant others, and even hired a trainer before. I typically was at the gym 6-7 days per week for about 1.5 to 2 hours each day. Those years and effort combined could not compare to what Adam has helped me achieve in just only 4 months.
-Instead of fitting me to a cookie-cutter program, Adam took the time to understand who I am, what I was after, and what I was capable of in order to structure the most effective and efficient program for me. This process exemplifies his ability to produce success in the fitness industry.
-My weekly fitness routine consisted of 2 sessions per week with Adam, and 1 or 2 sessions independently (mainly indoor cycling and simple weight lifting workouts). I got back a lot of free time compared to my previous 6-7 days per week, and was able to invest time into relaxing and traveling the world.
-My diet consisted of eating under 2000 calories, which was not difficult to adjust to. I counted calories the first few weeks into the program, and then discontinued counting because I was able to visualize my meals with a caloric value.
Closing Remarks:

I would give Aesthetic Bodies OC 10 stars if I could! If you are considering getting a fitness trainer- look no further than Adam. I had gone to Adam to prepare for my wedding this year and I had no idea where to begin. It had been a long time since I had last been in the gym, so needless to say I was very intimidated. The minute I sat down with Adam, my nerves were eased. Adam is incredibly smart and knowledgeable about fitness and health. He broke everything down in very simple terms for me to understand, and his way of working is very approachable and helpful. His workouts always left me incredibly sore all the way until our next session- which I love! I could feel my body getting much stronger and looking more toned as I continued to work with him. I’ve been going to the gym for a few years now practically doing the same workouts with just minor alterations. At a certain point, I felt my progress slowly reaching a plateau and I needed some sort of catalyst to boost my training. Adam has a good reputation on yelp so I gave him a try for a few sessions.
He was able to squeeze me into his schedule on short notice on my first visit. I told Adam that my main goal was firstly, to have explosiveness in my jumps (I want to dunk someday) and secondly, to build functional strength and stamina. Adam got right down to business and structured a full workout for me right on the spot. Every exercise we did, he would explain the benefits, proper form, and answer any other questions I had. Remember, I’ve been going to the gym for years now and after my first session with Adam…let’s just say that I should have trained with Adam years ago.
I would recommend anyone that is looking for a personal trainer to give Adam one shot. I am almost 100% certain that he will get you closer to your goal. His passion for his clients is unmatched and you can tell from his social media posts. I can tell that he pours not only his enormous wealth of knowledge on training, dieting and science into his sessions but also his heart.
