This review is long overdue. Jeff is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and charismatic trainer. If you’re looking to kickstart your fitness journey in 2024 or perfect your routine, I highly recommend Jeff as a personal trainer. I have lost around 24 pounds, feel and look better, and have never been more focused on my health.

I began working with Jeff on my fitness journey in October 2022. I did one-on-one training for the first 12 months and then transitioned to his group classes.

Highlights:

Workouts: Jeff incorporates warm-ups, speed and power exercises, cardio, and lifting. No session is the same, and you have the opportunity to learn new exercises or achieve a new PR on a deadlift.

Personalization: Jeff personalizes your workout plan to meet your nutrition, fitness, and weight loss goals. As someone with health limitations, this was crucial for me. Due to my health and COVID, I stopped working out consistently and had gained nearly 30 pounds. Jeff’s knowledge of rehab and his emphasis on proper form and technique helped me establish a routine and learn barbell lifts I never thought I could do.

Game Planning: It seems simple, but Jeff goes over your goals and progress at the start of every month. This is a helpful reset when you find yourself off track with your routine. It is also an opportunity to reflect and set new goals for the month.

Schedule: For my one-on-one sessions, Jeff accommodated my work schedule and understood when I needed to cancel or reschedule a session. Now that he has a mobile app, scheduling his group sessions, which are in the morning and evening, is super easy.

Mobile App: This has been a great tool! It has tons of workout videos, recipes that Jeff has tried himself, and the group class scheduler, which has worked out great for me.

Community: Engaging in group sessions is a wonderful way to connect with others. It's been great to meet new people and see their progress.

I first met Jeff when I was on Dialysis (7 years in at the time) in 2020. He would come to my home and help me with my strength. Unfortunately, my body could not keep up. I've had my fair share of different trainers, gyms, bootcamps, and I have been on both ends of the fitness spectrum, and can honestly say Jeff really knows his sh*t. Most trainers are doing their best to get you exhausted where you feel like "wow, they are really good", but Jeff is different, he has a process and you can tell how knowledgable he is! I recently moved to Chino and hadn’t been properly training and eating right for awhile. I knew I needed to get back on track. I was in need of a trainer who would not only train me but keep me motivated and accountable.

I looked through all of the yelp reviews and met with a few different trainers. However, after meeting with Jeff I knew he was the right trainer for me. Jeff has not only been a trainer for over 10 years he knows how your body works, what to do when you are recovering from an injury and how to still workout while staying safe. I have worked with about 4 different trainers over the last 15 years and Jeff has by far been my favorite. He works me out hard enough to see results, physically and mentally. I find myself stronger and more motivated as the weeks go by.

He also had amazing zoom workouts that are live everyday...and they are tough! In the best way possible. You end the zoom workouts, sweaty and feeling accomplished.

One more thing you should know....he has to be psychic or something....he always texts me “How’s your nutrition?” right when I am about to eat a cupcake or drive-thru Jack in the Box! Lol, he always knows when I’m about to cheat and I stop myself!

I've been working with Jeff Baird for about a month. This is my first time working with the trainer and I didn't really know what to expect. It's been amazing! Not only has he expanded my knowledge base a thousandfold every session, but he also manages my nutrition plan, which isn't easy as I'm vegan.

I came in looking for some help with my hips. I have a lot of flexibility and mobility issues that limit my range of motion in a wide range of exercises. Squatting, ab crunches, dead lifts, sitting at work, and even tying my shoe cause discomfort and a=sometimes pain. Jeff was great! I was visiting SoCal for a month and was looking for a trainer that would help me learn weight lifting-exercises and proper technique. Following Jeff on Instagram, his post always consisted of him teaching his Clients and Follows the proper mechanics of specific weight-lifting exercises as well as teaching them the reasons why they should consider his advice. I considered myself an amateur when it came to lifting weights and explaining/acknowledging proper technique. Therefore, seeing his IG post daily caught my attention before my visit to SoCal.

Upon meeting with Jeff 3-4 times a week/50 minutes sessions, the number one thing that I took away were his verbal cues for each exercise that he taught. Everyday his verbal cues would be the golden-nugget for me to obtain and perform the exercises properly and at my greatest strengths. For each one of my exercises he logged down my reps/weight, cues, and feedback for me to take note of and to practice. Reviewing his feedback was key towards progressing in our next session.

Since leaving SoCal, training with Jeff as my Personal Trainer for one-month has been the it factor for me to continue to practice weight-lifting here in my hometown. Similar to what I mentioned earlier, his verbal cues have been so important for me at the gym. Reviewing them before my workouts is like having Jeff right beside me for each exercise. I'm proud to say and share with my friends that Jeff was my Personal Trainer (Jeff). I highly recommend Jeff because of his passion to help me reach my fitness goal in very little time.

Highly recommend Jeff Baird, Personal Trainer! I started training with Jeff a little over a month ago, and I am so glad that I did! Prior to training with Jeff, I was familiar with weight training, but I lacked proper form and fundamental knowledge about the mechanics of weight-lifting. This typically left me with injuries and little/no progression in the gym, which in turn led to be to become discouraged/unmotivated from lack of progress. I knew I needed guidance in order to make a significant change in my life. When I began training with Jeff, I quickly realized my form was way off. Jeff taught me the importance of building a strong foundation in order to lift heavier and properly train the correct muscle groups. Working with Jeff I have already seen a huge improvement in my training.

Jeff set up a individualize plan for me based on my fitness goals, and we worked to achieve those goals/adjusted them as needed. Having weekly/monthly goals truly helped hold me accountable and keep track of my progress in the gym. Having someone with the knowledge to put together a fitness plan/nutritional plan based on your individual goals is a an investment for your personal well being that will last a life time.

So thankful to have found Jeff. He is a genuine down to earth coach who truly cares about his clients and wants them to be successful in their fitness journeys. I have know Jeff since high school and can tell you that there are only a few people out there that has this much passion for health and fitness. His knowledge on anatomy and therapy is impressive, but what’s more impressive is how he applies it to functional movement. I sprained my AC joint a few years ago and have been dealing with pain since. Jeff has worked on getting my T spine to move again and has been working on proper movement with my left scapula. Everything on my left side was so locked up and I had no idea. You would think the doctors and chiropractors I’ve seen in the past would be able to assess this, but I guess not. Jeff figured this out in a 30 minute consultation. On top of that, I’ve dealt with chronic inflammation in my left lower back and was told by the doctor that it would never go away. It’s been 4 or 5 years with back pain off and on. Jeff spent 10 minutes assessing my SI Joints in my hips and decided to measure my legs. Come to find out that my right leg is a full centimeter longer than my left! I would imagine that is a huge contributing factor to my pain and inflammation. So now we are working on that problem and I’m hopeful that I can finally manage the pain on my left side. The point I’m trying to make is that I am beyond impressed with Jeff’s ability to assess a problem and apply therapy and movement techniques to find a long term cure for pain. It’s hard to find clinicians with this level of care and passion! If you’ve been dealing with long term pain or just wanna learn how to move properly and get a good workout, stop thinking about it and go see him!! Your health is worth every penny you invest into it.

Jeff is a masterful trainer who has great people skills. The best teachers never stop learning and Jeff is a dedicated student of his craft. Jeff helped me achieve my goal of adding strength and upper body mass by helping me understand my protein, fat, and carbohydrate ratios and teaching me proper form during my strength training movements. The insight and commentary he shared about why I was doing each moment proved insightful and helped me out understand how I could be the techniques to self train when our personal training sessions concluded. He is very professional and knowledgeable about fitness whether it be powerlifting or weightlifting, he knows how to get you into optimal position to not only do the movement correctly but also reduce the chance of you getting hurt.
