Melissa’s approach with her clients is one that leads with kindness, compassion and motivation. Her knowledge and experience with Parkinson’s, disabilities, boxing, and fitness is inspiring and refreshing. She challenges us in exactly the way we need and expresses empathy just the same. She considers our health, safety, and wellbeing in every decision she makes regarding her business practices and our training- from the way the equipment is set up, to specific circuits, even to managing the parking lot efficiently. I have never felt more confident and secure with a coach! She puts her entire being into this and that is very clear on a daily basis. Thank you Melissa for all that you do to ensure this ship is smooth sailing and being the best coach this side of the Mississippi!!

I have been going to Hope In Your Corner for more than 3 years now. Coach Melissa is an incredibly caring and dedicated coach who deeply cares about her athletes, many of whom happen to have Parkinson's disease. The community she has created here has meant so much to me personally as well as many others.

I can only laugh at the two most recent reviews left by Gabe and Kristina which are an obvious attempt to sabotage Melissa's business, reputation, and livelihood. I can tell you her athletes adore her, and so does the whole Parkinson's community in this area. Frankly you have NO idea who you attacked.

You have no business making such a pathetic attempt to damage this community and you should be ashamed of yourself. The photo attached to one of the reviews was taken illegally when your family member trespassed inside the building on private property. Not to mention the stress that was caused to one of the athletes who has Parkinson's who was there. You may not realize this but anxiety is very damaging to people with Parkinson's. Please think deeply about what you wrote and how wrong this is and do something to rectify it.

Excellent rock steady boxing gym for folks with Parkinson's disease. Every week the combined mental and physical exercises are different. The boxing combos change every month. My wife loves it.

Melissa is an amazing coach, friend, and cheerleader for our Boxers with Parkinson’s. She has created a community of Fighters which makes this Parkinson’s journey more of a team effort for us all! She is a dynamo!
