My gym experience at the suisun in-shape. It’s been more than amazing. I’ve been attending for over three years and have been tempted to switch gyms, but I never will because of the staff members Shar, Rashida and Jesse feel like family members to me and Brighten‘s my day getting to speak to them almost on a daily basis. Rashida even memorizes my account number to log me in before I can even scan my phone to check in. I brag about how great my staff is.

I've been taking the Forever Fit classes and really enjoy them, I actually look forward to going to the gym now.
It would be great if there were at least 3 of these classes a week, currently there are only 2, Monday and Friday. In lieu of that, a yoga class for seniors would be quite beneficial. We all really miss Tammy and Peter Paul's yoga classes. The yoga class now being held by Tish is too difficult for seniors with the continual up and down on the floor.

Today my 8 year old daughter and I went to exercise at the Suisun City In-Shape and were informed the access we have been using was no longer allowed. (We had been training for the last few months) Since we added her on to the membership I have been teaching her how to swim laps and we have been working on strength training to improve overall as a gymnast. She is under my close supervision at all times when training and how we were turned away at the front desk had her saying "well I guess i don't even want to exercise anymore". To think a gym that takes the name In-shape family fitness and then turns away a father and a young athlete when we pay for both memberships is unacceptable. I believe a family fitness center should have access for the whole family. Please consider rewriting the rule book as these good habits we form in our youth will carry them into success as they grow older.

I'm absolutely loving my experience at In-Shape Gym! The facilities are top-notch, and the amenities are amazing. One of my favorite features is the steam room - it's the perfect way to unwind after a tough workout. Been going to this gym for over 2 years, never have had a problem. Though there is one thing that has been bugging me recently, steam room room has been down for about 2 months and when I asked the front desk when it’s going to open, they told me closed until further notice. I love ending my workout with a steam room sesh so I really hope it gets fixed soon.

I joined the gym through Kaiser hospital, and I am happy to say it’s worth it. I tell my friends that the gym I use has a wide array of exercise equipment, classes and friendly competitions. Their staff is readily available to help you when needed. I love my gym and the members there, are quick to show you how to use the exercise machines without a second thought or making you feel inadequate, the staff is caring and supportive.

Amenities are good compared to other gyms in the area, in my opinion. I appreciate how other gym members are respectful. I feel safe to workout here. They added new machines.

However, customer service etiquette needs improvement. I was on the phone with the manager, and she was helping me resolve a task. While we were on the phone for 5 minutes, she told me she would take another call. I waited for another 2 minutes. It is unprofessional for her to take another call when I was first and we were in the middle of resolving my issue, and she could've called back the other person afterwards. I think management needs to be re-evaluated at this location.

Based on how I was treated by staff, I don't feel as valued.

came here from Dover because they do not accept the type of medical membership my wife & I have. I was helped by a young lady manager Shar and was helped with signing up, she download my app and helped us with rewards we were saving. We got rid of our family membership as they do not enforce the rules for the pool area, lanes are meant to be reserved and on several times of coming in and our reserved lane was in use and when asked if they had reserved a lane they hadn't and gave us a lot of attitude over it. People bring in 4+ kids and then just leave them unattended in the pool area where they run around (only 2 people are supposed to be in a lane) and they are usually jumping from the spa to the pool because whoever brought them in doesn't watch them . Several times people have brought babies into the pool with diapers on that were leaking into the pool water. There is another gym member that is constantly in the gym in the pool area he is always staring at the women in the aerobics class and other women in the pool area very creepy. There are way too many coming in from exercising and going in fully clothed into the steam and Sauna just very grose to go in after 20 something people come out at once.

The staff here are incredible. Always polite, courteous, and friendly. I've never had an issue with equipment never being available. The classes they have too are a blast. The instructors are amazing and help program the class for people of all fitness levels. New classes like Mobility Stability and Balance now added and yoga classes being added soon in the day time. 🙃I am a current Inshape gym member. I became a member because I love 🏊‍♂️swimming. I went there almost every day and worked out🏋‍♂️ and swam for hours. But lately I don't want to be in this gym...even I am still a member The reason is serious hygiene problems. 😑
Even when I first signed up for membership, I saw a swimming pool area with a 🚿shower head to disinfect the body before entering the pool or hot tub, but people enter the water without washing their bodies clean. In fact, if there are many unshowered swimmers in the pool at risk of waterborne illness.
Not only that nowadays I saw an old man swimming in the water in regular outdoor dirty 🩴+👟sandals, and walked out with it, then I saw some man are entering the pool and hot tub wearing 🩲underwear, not wearing a swim suit.🩳🩱
And most of the women with long hair do not wear a swimming cap 🏊‍♂️+🧢and swim in the water with long hair, so the hair floats here and there and gets caught in the face while swimming. [The Swimtastic Squad strongly suggest using a swim cap at any age, kids through adults. It not only helps your swimmer, but it also helps keep the pool drains, filters, and pumps clear of hair.
Aqua aerobics, doing in pool water or other forms of gentle water exercise may want to wear a swim cap as well.]

This gym pool water is not clean and the bottom of the pool is very dirty.
The water doesn't smell like chlorine, it is more saltwater but since you are incapable of keeping pool's clean you may needed to add more chlorine into your pool.🫥

Even I saw in the hot tub when it bubbles there are dirty sustances floating on the water I feel at times whole pool water is contaminated...

Gym manager and gym staff should pay more attention to smaller pools... Strict pool rule set applies to pool users.
🚨Suggestion: Post a large, conspicuous written rule at each entrance to the pool area. Staff have to cycle through the pool every few hours to check if anyone is breaking the rules and asking them to leave go get the swimmers caps and wear proper swim wear.
If not, it will be an issue for the next county health department.

InShape Gym; Suisun is a good choice for convenience, cost, and overall value. They offer multiple classes per day, the gym has quite a bit of equipment, and the staff is friendly and professional. I have been going to this gym for about two years. Recently I added my mom to the membership, and she loves all classes she has joined--particularly Zumba. 99.8% of the times we come in, we are greeted immediately by warm, polite, and energetic employees. We get a sense of community from the vibe whenever we come in from seeing how well they professionally and personally interact with guests. It is always clean inside--the restrooms are almost always tidy. They could fix a few repairs, but those are minor. The demographic of the gym is large, with a nice mix of diversity. The gym is a good deal--amicable.

I LOVE this place! So many choices of equipment and locations of that equipment! The Staff has been so great with me. And not the least bit pushy on anything. Especially sales! They staff is constantly maintaining the equipment and cleaning it. I just wish the MOP in the women's locker room wasn't always left in the floor near the lockers.. That's dangerous and unhygienic. I had a bad experience with the girls in the kid zone today. I left my baby (1.5 years old) after about 30 minutes he started crying and there were 3 girls, none of them tried to calm him down, he was alone crying near the bathroom, and the 3 of them were chatting at the desk. I expected them to pay more attention, because a few months ago there was a girl named Rosa, she hugged my baby and tried to calm him down and play with him, and the other babies, I loved her. But today… It made me feel sad for my baby crying alone, without any attention.. so if you're thinking of carrying your baby, think twice.

Joined about a month ago for the pool. But I've been hitting the gym during the days and the pool at nights after work. Only wish I'd that they would be open later on Saturday and Sundays but the staff there deserve a life outside of the gym as well so I'm totally ok with what they have to offer me. So far haven't had one bad experience while I've been there and everything is very clean. Not met any of the other members yet but that's on me not them. I keep to myself and I'm sure if I were to talk to anyone they would be more then happy to talk with me. Everyone there seems really happy to be a part of In-Shape.

Back at it again. Second workout at the gym since covid-19. I had a great experience. They have sanitizing station all over, and everyone was being respectful by cleaning the equipment before and after use. I work out at 4 am to avoid crowds. I needed this so bad... I love when it opens up in the morning! nice and early!
All the employees I have met have been extremely helpful and made my membership easier in all ways! First in helping me set up my application and showing me all the ropes they were very patient kind and very helpful. I love my yoga teacher her name is Betty it's a great class. The pool is clean it always is that's just the sauna in the morning! What a great way to start the day. I would love to be able to bring guests again. I know if I could bring my friends and they would join with me after they tried it! And with the joining fee of $69 waived for the moment it would be a simple task for me to bring many many more friends in! 😊 Once my doctor's release me to being able to use my body more I will be able to use the weights! There's such great energy there maybe it'll inspire me to become a 60-year-old bodybuilder! Ha! Have a wonderful day and thank you in shape and the staff. Someone who works here need to see how Concord, Brentwood and Antioch do it. For example. My first time in Concord. I was lost but the workers got out of there way to help. And they were nice about it to. Also. I've seen workers help elders that were working out making conversations. Suisun city, Fairfield just need to at least keep the place clean and be more of employees and not just look at there phones and not act like gym members paying hard earned money dont matter. If you do go bring some anti bacterial soap. I caught athletes foot from the locker room and took me days to get rid of it.

This gym is an absolute joke. The general manager Bianca Camacho is dishonest and unprofessional to her customers. I suggest that upper management above club level hire someone who is more customer friendly and a problem solver rather than having a manager who “doesn’t know” any of the questions she is asked from people who attend this gym!
I’ll be switching to a new gym that is more clean, member Friendly and has professional management with common sense! I regret ever wasting time talking Bianca who has ZERO common sense about business.

The Treadmill is horribly designed not easy to set like other Treadmills. No rags to clean the machine before use except paper towels. It needs to be properly aired, the inside smells disgusting. Please go to Krock Center to look at the Treadmill in that gym. Very nice and easy to set.

Edit: I no longer go here, switched to another gym. Before I left this In-Shape had a real problem with enforcing some rules, such as sauna users need to be clean and wear the proper foot covers (slippers, sandals), but there were tons of people going in right after a workout, causing the smell of mold and mildew to circulate. It may be OK now, but I can't attest to that. Overall this gym was OK compared to my current gym. Club is small compared to my previous, larger corporate gym. Overall, gym is clean, well lit, with a decent sized pool, small sauna and steam room. Nice "secluded" section for the more self-conscious gym goer, and more secluded weights area for the meat-heads. Staff is nice and friendly, equipment is adequate, though again, this gym is a little smaller, so during busy hours don't expect a complete workout on your time, aka. be patient.

All of the staff is really friendly. I always see housekeeping working when I see them. The locker room is spacious and clean always stocked broken dispensers didn't stay broken. Pool area is clean, class instructors are also very friendly and fun. Even the other members for the most part are great. Equipment is all functioning and it's not usually so busy you can't get on the machines. I have visyed a few other inshape gyms this is my favorite.
