We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here this past weekend, and everything was absolutely perfect! The coaches were so engaging with the kids, and the staff member who helped me get everything set up was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

had my now 3 year old enrolled in toddler gym for 2 years. nice coaches especially Ms Andie, Ms Crystal and Ms Justine, my daughter had a great time while she was there for the most part. for the show cases, they are a bit disorganized and as a parent you have to pry more than i would like to get the correct information. we did have 2 personal negative experiences with some staff member who accused my MIL of “putting her hands on an employee” stating she removed her hand from the door so that she could enter the show which was not true at all. completely made a scene, yelling, accusing and being aggressive at what was supposed to be a happy day for my daughter and our family, it left a horrible taste to be honest. the week prior my husband walked in w our daughter for her dance recital as he was excited to participate with her this year and the same guy said something along the lines of “we don’t want any men back here there’s little girls changing”. as if my husband was there to watch little girls change?? be smart with the way you approach people. there’s a way to talk to people without sounding and being exasperating. i don’t care for a reply, even the replies on reviews online are rude. dealing with kids and parents isn’t easy at times but there’s a way to go about things, it was ultimately the attitude that led us to cancel.

LSC is the worst I have ever experienced. There is no sense in communication between there Downey and Whittier location between there instructors, main office and parents. My daughter is suppose to participate in a showcase next week. I spent 2 hours yesterday trying to figure out when and where to pick up her outfits. They confirmed by phone yesterday it was at Whittier location. My husband drives there today and they can’t find it. And lady there is very condescending. Like if our time is not valuable or it’s not her problem. So unprofessional.

Our kiddos had the best time at the Parents Night Out event, they did crafts, games and pizza! They were so happy and definitely will be coming back for as long as they keep the Downey program. I will tell all my friends/family. Thank you!

Have been with LSC a bout 3 years now for both my now 6 yr old and 4yr old.

Both girls love the gymnastics classes and the variety of moves they make. Coaches often rotate by the looks of it ever X number of months but I think that’s good for the girls.

They have a huge space that allows multiple classes to go at once so there’s lots to do in each area.

Have not had any issues with billing nor understanding the policies set place and there is plenty of parking.

If I could give some suggestions/recommendations it would be :

- Opening up a guest WiFi access point since sometimes network is bad inside
- implement no outside shoes on the gymnastics floor… often kids are touching the floor with their hands and sometimes their faces laying on the ground
- install a few hand sanitizer stations

Other than that a great place for gymnastics, dance, ninja classes etc.

We had an amazing time celebrating my daughter’s 8th birthday at LSC! Elsa made sure we were all taken care of and coaches were absolutely awesome with the kids, keeping them engaged and having fun the whole time. Not only was it fun for the kids but the parents were relieved to know that the kids were safe and in good hands the entire time. They ran around, flipped, jumped and danced. Everything was perfect—from the setup to the activities. Huge thanks to LSC for making it such a great experience! I’d definitely recommend for a fun kids party.

Wow!!! My daughter had her 7th Birthday at LSC and it was a true success. She currently does gymnastics and competition dance with them, and it was a great thing for them to offer parties at their location. All the families were amazed and impressed with the party setup. The coaches were there to handle the kids with games and activities, and all were amazing. The venue was perfect, we had the entire location to ourselves. All staff was professional and super helpful in making it easy for me. A big shout out to Coach Jake for leading the party so amazing and always checking on me to provide assistance. Will definitely do another party at LSC.

Jake was an awesome lead and was super helpful. He had a great schedule set and he was really great rolling with the changes. I know most of my guests didn’t sign the waiver in advance and Jake was so patient having them sign when they came in.

We loved Jacob and Andi!!! They were so great with the kids, helping and showing them how to use the equipment and have fun too. Everything was so well planned and we received so many compliments from our guests. One of the girls wants to book her party there too. The party room was perfect, and I was so grateful that Jake and Jacob were there to help with the balloons!

Inclement weather couldn’t keep these kids away!!

Thank you LSC for making my daughter’s birthday great! We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

At first I really like the place for my two daughters they act so nice and all just to enroll my daughter but they did not communicate with the kids parents at all, I enroll my daughters to gymnastics and wrestling for 2 months and they never told me the wrestling was 2 days a week NEVER I have to find out in their app. They never really discuss the policy with the parents never. You need to find out everything in the app. They don't help you at all. And I have some tokens that my daughters didn't use because they're couches did not teach the trial kids how to do wrestling and they twist my daughter finger, they put them to fight with the new kids, and my daughter never wanted to go back for that class. And they didn't let me use the token I had Because I didn't enroll my kids again. But in their policy does not mention that you can't use token if you're not enroll. Again I sent an email and they Never reply back.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
They encourage and participate in gender discrimination. They do not allow girls in their ninja class or offer a boys gymnastics, so girls have to go to girl gymnastics class and boys have to go to ninja class.
Additionally I discovered they charge parents without consent and discriminated against an employee as well.
They told me "we are a small business and we operate as we see fit". I was warned they don't care about their customers and it's absolutely true. Since when can you discrimate because you're a small business! I will be reporting them everywhere I can.

My daughter attended some toddler gymnastics classes years ago so we thought this was a great place to return to post closures. This year she has participated in practically every class option but ultimately decided on cheer. She always looks forward to learning new skills and techniques. There really is a coach for every level and for every child’s personality. I’m grateful that LSC prides itself in providing a safe, healthy and creative environment for our kids confidence to flourish.

My seven year old has been here for a few months at least. I found this place when searching for classes to get him more active. He’s doing ninja gymnastics and he seems to like it. The class is about an hour long, which is fine. Most of the classes are also outdoors in an area they have. My son seems to really like coming for now.

My 6 year old daughter was afraid of everything, including her own shadow. She was afraid of heights and would not leave my side. After less than 1 month of being enrolled in both the dance and gymnastic classes at Lighthouse, my little one is a whole new girl. She is participating and loving all of her classes. The teachers are wonderful and the staff is very helpful. I'm so glad we found this little place. My daughter may never become Simone Biles, but now she as the confidence to be her best self, which is even better! Thank you.

My girls have been apart of LSC Cheer since 2019 and we love everything about it. I give it 5 🌟 for the following reasons-

Coaching staff- Their coach Serena is awesome! She comes with a lot of experience and my girls have made massive improvements in their flexibility and coordination. My girls started from scratch- no experience at all! Now- they are tumbling, dancing, jumping with confidence. The staff are all professional, and courteous. The owners Nathan and Sheree have a passion for what they do and it shows.

Gym & parking- The gym is clean, there is plenty of parking, and you can get some grocery shopping done at the Stater bro’s while you wait for the kids to be done.

Scheduling- practices are at convenient times mostly in the eveninga and they also offer one on ones if you feel your athlete needs it.

Overall- we are happy to be apart of LSC! We are looking forward to another year of cheer!

We’ve been at Lighthouse since my now 4 year old was 1 and we love it here ! The coaches and staff are so friendly and professional. There are classes for all ages, discounts for siblings and a variety of classes. We have a daughter in their All Star Cheer team, a son who loves their gymnastics classes and a baby who is excited to begin her mommy and me gym class. I honestly Loved the class of Martial arts the coach Josh is an example he is very confident dedicated and disciplined I loved how he is fair and very respectful and teaches those values to my kid. My daughter is not yet ready for it unfortunately she's too hyper hope he's around when she's more settle. But we are going to be in gymnastics.

But there's 1 glidge there's an older man teaching in gymnastics he is rude to ask u not to lean on the glass dividers they have, advice is please learn to ask nicely to not lean and maybe signs can help. For a business customer service is #1.

Great place my daughter loves it. They have taught her so many things, love Serena, sheree, and Bella her cheer coaches, they have so much patience. Alisha is an awesome coach she is the best. She has taught my daughter in a ballet and jazz class and in gymnastics so much patience and great knowledge of the sport. They are stern but patient and I love that. Thank you for your hard work. I love this gym. My two year old is in the toddler gymnastics class, and the coaches have all been patient and understanding and nice to the kids. She still stuck in her terrible twos and throws tantrums but never have I heard the coaches complain, instead they find a different way to redirect her attention, which I appreciate so much. I see so much improvement from her. I also like the fact that the gym is ALWAYS Clean, I’ve personally have seen someone sanitizing all the equipment on more than one occasion so it’s great to know that we can trust this gym with our children’s , health as well. Definitely would recommend

Coach Nathan and the lighthouse staff have been great with our child ever since the Whittier Community Center Program. I like how they push and challenge the children just enough to achieve their goals. My child has shown Improvement in strength, confidence, flexibility, agility, and following directions. The staff can be playful at times and I personally like how they don't baby the kids. First class is free so why not try it for yourself.

The coaches were disrespectful to me and the owner wouldn't call me by my name, he called me dude and, he aggressively threw a yoga block at my face. He always gave me a bad attitude and even when I at least tried to compliment him. I've seen the sight of him making other kids cry or either make them sad by sometimes even telling them " You're not good at this." Edit: Be honest? You are the one who doesn't know what being honest and respectful means. It's not a good idea to call a FEMALE CHILD a " dude " in the rude way instead of saying their actual name and, yell when a kid doesn't know how to do a cartwheel for the first time!!!!!! You should be ashamed of yourself.
