This studio is the best in the Bay Area. Leigh Ann (the owner) is a physical therapist, so every single move is with joint and muscle longevity in mind. Going here has not only helped me get lean and strong, but has fixed a lot of my lower back and shoulder injuries.

I love the studio. Classes are great! Very dynamic. It feels good to leave the classes with the feeling that I was able to exercise deeply my whole body in a short amount of time. Class sizes are good as well, because allows instructors to pay attention in everyone and correct students that need help. First time I went I was afraid of being very lost, but the instructor made me feel very comfortable.

This studio stands out above all the other Pilates studios in the area! Leigh Ann is a kind and powerful teacher of teachers. You get a consistent strong class no matter what time you come due to Leigh Ann’s intentional leadership. Personally, I love MPX strength as a wonderful addition to my yoga practice. MPX strength is a must do for anyone who is curious about modern Pilates or an expert looking for a high-quality class.

Leigh Ann clearly loves to teach, and it shows. She makes subtle corrections to my form which makes each move harder, but we can do hard things!
All the instructors are great and patient and helpful to newbies. There are 10 xformers. The place is spotless.

Taya was really welcoming and assuring. She made me feel comfortable as a new student even though I had a lot less experience and wasn't as in shape as the other students. She left me with a really good impression of MPX and I look forward to coming back!

I have been troubled with degenerative disc, and was wanting to explore things to help my back with a long term goal of playing sports and other activities without limitations.
pros:
1. Pilates at MPX has been great with the classes having a mix of lower body/upper body workouts with a slightly more focus on lower body, and that's exactly what I wanted.
2. the Xformer machine has springs to add weight, and I felt MPX offered me a chance to strength train with almost no risk of getting injured.
3. The trainers, Leigh, Hailey, Michelle W and Carol have been amazing giving a personalized experience, constantly correcting form, and helping you understand postures, and form. I've looked forward to the classes.
4. The classes are affordable.
5. The cancellation within 12 hours has penalty, and that helps me push myself to be more consistent.
6. Classes start as early as 6 am, and are available all through the day.
Cons:
1. Each class accomadates 10-12 people and it was hard to find sessions with the trainers I wanted as they get booked easily.
2. Other trainers can be a little more hands-on.
My rating is 4.5/5

I recently attended a class at this studio as a first time Pilates participant. I'm grateful that my first class was through MPX. The owner and instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and foster a welcoming community. The workout was a great addition to my weekly routine and I am already on the app trying to find out when I can come back for another workout.

Tried a class here the other day- wonderful experience. The studio is very clean and the equipment is well taken care of. Taya was a wonderful teacher- very friendly and offered appropriate guidance when needed. She really seemed to understand each person's needs and was able to help support goals. Class was challenging but fun. I look forward to doing more classes!!

Love this studio and the instructors. They are really communicative and push us to understand where we should be feeling the workout and are sticklers for form. I so appreciate having this close by!

MPX classes have solved a chronic back pain that I carried for over 3 years and several PT and chiropractors couldn’t. Leigh Ann the owner is a physical therapist and the classes truly bring you back to your full strength. I went skiing this winter and for the first time in a while I felt ready for it. I literally thanked MPX while taking turns on the slopes! Beyond gaining back my strength, working with multiple injuries (wrist, knee, hip, back…), the welcoming and accepting spirit of the teachers always makes me feel good in general. Very thankful for this studio and I highly recommend it!

By far one of the best Pilates studios in Menlo Park / the entire peninsula. The owner Leigh-Ann and her staff are consulate professionals who knows their craft. I’m still sore from class 2 days later. Love the studio aesthetic and cleanliness.

I LOVE MPX. I've been averaging about a class a week and have felt myself become stronger--I even got complimented at one of my recent classes for my arm muscles! I run, swim, play tennis, and lift weights when I can't make it to MPX. But the form instruction, emphasis on slow and controlled movements, and combination of balance work with resistance, makes MPX a hands down better and more soreness-inducing workout than any of the most intense weight lifting I've been doing. My favorite class is Sweat and Stretch, where owner and instructor Leigh Ann runs a hard strength workout followed by a longer (than usual) session of stretching. Leigh Ann's physical therapy expertise comes in great handy here and the adjustments she makes to deepen your stretch are like the best part of the yoga workout when the instructor moves you once. In Sweat and Stretch, you can expect that with every stretch.
The MPX studio is a really warm and welcoming place where people encourage one another after class and smile at familiar faces. The focus of instruction is on quality, clean reps rather than speeding through a heavier weight and so people go at their own pace.
I've had classes from lots of the instructors in addition to Leigh Ann, including Jenny, Alena, Sona, and Carol. All of the instructors are energetic and clear in their instructions. I particularly love the way Jenny will explain moves to remind me not to take my hands further than they should go thereby making the exercise easier etc... She used to have to remind me often to put my hips back during giant X lunge but I've finally built the habit of better form!
The studio space itself is kept so nice by Leigh Ann. The bathrooms are serene dreams with extra hair ties and spray dry shampoo for people on the run to their next thing. And the giant windows in the class let in the nice views of the street's trees.
I can't recommend the studio enough!!!

This is by far the best workout studio I’ve ever been to. The classes are so hard but manageable and I have seen a noticeable difference in my strength (and running and biking times) since starting at MPX. The instructors are hands-on and very attentive. Leigh Ann is amazing! The equipment is new and always very clean! I can’t recommend MPX enough!

Took my first class today with Leigh Ann and can't wait to go back. The instructor (owner of the studio) is incredibly knowledgable, motivating and down-to-earth...the perfect combo in my opinion. Class was very challenging and I loved seeing so many familiar faces in the studio. Great addition to Menlo Park!

I absolutely love MPX! Leigh Ann is truly the best and so are all of her instructors. The studio has such a great vibe, everyone is so friendly! There are also so many class times to choose from, which makes it so easy from a scheduling stand point. Regardless of whether you are a pilates pro or just want to try it out for the first time, MPX is the place!

Took a 7AM class with Hailey and she was wonderful. Super funny and engaging and totally kicked my butt. It was easy to book online and there were a bunch of different time slots for class.
The studio is spacious and clean with tons of available parking nearby. There are storage lockers available and a water filling station. There are specials available for new clients too! 10/10 would recommend.

MPX is the best! The x-former workout is the best strength workout I’ve ever done - the way it emphasizes proper form makes it so effective, especially for my core. This studio is awesome - the owner and instructors are great, the studio is clean and beautiful!

Finally found a workout I actually look forward to. Not going to lie, the reformers intimidated me at first, especially as someone who hasn’t worked out in YEARS. But my instructor Leigh Ann really broke it down and turns out, the reformer is not scary at all! In fact, I think it’s my new favorite workout equipment. It helps my form and I can literally feel each muscle working while using it. It helps that Leigh Ann is a physical therapist and could make adjustments and explain the motions really well so I never was straining or risking injury. Let me tell you, my legs were SHAKING. I was feeling muscles I didn’t even know I had, but it was all in manageable increments and the class flew by. Can’t recommend MPX enough! Excited to work with other trainers there as well.

Took Leigh Ann’s 9:30am class and this workout is no joke. But what makes it even more meaningful is LA’s PT background. She educates on why we do the movements on the x former and her adjustments and kindness brightens up the room. Take her class, you won’t regret it!

The best workout out there!!! The studio is beautiful, and the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable. The X Former allows you to get a really good strength workout that is still low impact. The intimate class sizes allow for plenty of instructor feedback, so you know you are getting a safe and effective workout. The workouts also change each class, so you never get bored or feel like you're doing the same routine over and over. Thank you MPX for opening in Menlo Park!

Love this workout! I had never tried the mega-reformer until this and it was awesome. I loved that I could adjust things to fit my current (no so in shape) fitness level without it slowing down the pace of others in the class, and I whenever I wasn't sure of something my instructor LeighAnn was able to be right there to guide me to the correct form/modification. I left the class feeling great and looking forward to making it apart of my regular fitness routine!

Amazing experience! The studio was cute and the workout was great - the owner is a physical therapist and an elite athlete, and so was very knowledgeable about how to hit different muscle groups and get the most of of the workout. Will absolutely be going back regularly!
