Neurofighters enables people with Neurological Conditions, like Parkinson's Disease, MS, ALS, Stroke, PSP, early onset dementia/alzheimers, etc. to fight back by providing a non-contact boxing style fitness & functional exercise program designed to combat the symptoms many people experience while living with a Neurological Condition. Neurofighters provides a fun, encouraging environment that through a "tough-love" approach we help with muscle rigidity, voice, balance, strength, coordination and improvement in quality of life. Boxing moves your body in all planes of motion and is effective in helping with symptoms and energy levels. Neurofighters classes are offered at any and all levels of fitness!

This is the best program on the central coast for anyone battling neurological conditions. The director and volunteers have a fun and well structured program for all abilities.

April really does a great job motivating her students. Some are quite a challenge, and all are at different levels. She customizes fitness plans, and pushes them to be the best they can be. The classes are growing as more people hear about her work. I highly recommend her! For Parkinson's, the more you move the slower the disease progression!

I volunteer with this non profit group. April runs a varied exercise program (boxing, PWR, etc.) for those suffering with neurologic conditions that affect their movements (mostly Parkinsons). The program has made a world of difference for my husband who has PD. Doctors say that movement and exercise is the key to handling the symptoms of PD and this program fits the bill perfectly. Highly recommend.
