The gym itself was great. I was strong supporter to fellow citizens to use patt. However the team egregiously misused bank and debit card info. Consistency over charging. Many times I was told by the underaged staff they didn't know how to do something culminating in someone writing down my card info for the manager to process payment. On a piece of paper. Just sitting on the counter. Fast forward I relocate for work, and cancel. Pay the 150. About a month later I'm charged again, twice. Now months later I have debt collectors calling me and has to reach out to Jerry Ortiz the manager. They claim they haven't been paid and it's out of their hands. After threatening legal action suddenly they're looking into it. I pulled bank statements affirming at least one of the 3 charges did go through, my bank went on record with my attorney stating as such and Jerry and Patterson health still refuse to cancel the debt. Claiming they have to do an investigation before calling of the debt collectors. For what you may ask? I have the evidence and more. The miss handled this alleged debt, the filing with agency and abused the fdcpa which protects citizens in cases like this. Despite the overwhelming evidence they still refuse to admit the debt has been paid. A debt mind you that is only 150, a cancellation charge. Which they turned into 750 by failing to contact me in a timely manner regarding this issue. Jerry Ortiz is a liar. Claimed he couldn't do anything it was out of his hands, then suddenly 2 days later after I contacted the agency and they affirmed he was the only one who could manage the account, suddenly he has power..... Avoid. They only care about money. I was a perfect customer. Paid on time. Paid more than I had to due to discrepencies. Let it go. Gave them all the banking info they needed. Yet around this time my card info was stolen. Around this time supposedly my account and the cancellation fee wasn't processed.

I've already begun having my attorney write a cease and desist while working on filing proceedings assuming they do not close it amicably. They'd rather go to court and risk losing thousands than simply admit I paid 150 and someone within their billing, screwed up. Even after seeing a cut and dry debit statement. Tried to state it was, a revoked transaction. Despite it showing as a clear and posted charge.

Small gym, pretty high price. It seems people go there just to stand around in groups and hog equipment, so it must be a cool place to hang out. It'll do in a pinch.
