Working with Perfitness has been one of the best investments I’ve made. My Personal Trainer named Peter is a caring and skilled professional. At my age of 82 he is helping me gain the much needed mobility, strength and balance. I started at PERFITNISS in February and I can tell you: It was the best investment in myself that I could have made. The holistic approach used is absolutely something extraordinary. All the personnel are absolutely dedicated to helping their clients. They have amazing communication and are there to help you reach your goal. The three pillars: fitness, nutrition and life coaching is the perfect combination. I feel like fitness speaks for itself but all the trainers adapt to your needs and physical restrictions. Shout out to Rachel who really brings the fun and heat to our work-outs! Nutrition is helping reach your goal and help get a better relationship with both food and body. I'm a mom of 2, I work full time, on the LA freeway almost 3 hours a day and found myself lacking the motivation to take care of myself. I found PERFITNESS on yelp and decided to take a chance on them. It has been by far one of the best decisions I've made for myself. I'm not only feeling like I'm physically getting stronger but this has been the best thing for me mentally as well. The personal trainers really challenge you and along with my weekly workouts they have a nutritionist assigned to you to help you with your overall goals. I happened to switch my goals about two months in and they quickly readjusted my workout regiment and diet. Working out is only a small part to getting healthy but your nutrition is also a huge part of it, and they help you accomplish both. This was the best investment I've made thus far.
I meet up with Melissa, my nutritionist, weekly via zoom. We discuss my nutrition, the amount of protein, carbohydrates, fats, and vegetables I consume on a daily basis. Depending on how I feel and how the week goes she either decides to decrease or increase my consumption of food I take in. She is extremely knowledgeable in nutrition and has a keen sense of what your body needs to take in to reach your goals. She is reachable at almost anytime with any question that may arise with a meal you are considering to consume. She is pleasant, reasonable, approachable and experienced in nutrition. If she doesn't have an answer she will always make note to get back to you in a timely manner to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend her services and PERFITNESS.

The combo of having support with nutrition has helped me so much, even when I thought I was such a healthy eater, they've kept me on track and helped me to make better decisions and portion control. Additionally the trainers are incredible. Its fun and fresh to work with 2-3 at different times. I connected with all 3 of them (Mario, Elli, Karen). They each have their own style, are easy going, but incredibly encouraging and push you to get through the tough workouts and feel incredible after. I joined Perfitness with a very specific goal for a very specific reason: I wanted to drop 20lbs in 3 months for a film shoot. Michael, Melissa, and Austin got to work right away making sure I was ready to go all in. After getting my body analysis results and making a meal plan – I started training with Elli and Mario. By week 1, I was sore and cursing my decision... by week 3 I was begging them to let me lift heavier! Not only did I get my results, on time, physically – my mental outlook shifted. I was excited to get in the gym, to learn about muscle fibers and calorie deficits, and to talk about movies with my trainers!
When I started this journey I was 21-years-old. To be transparent – this was the most amount of money I had ever spent on anything, completely self-funded. I share this information because I know there are those reading this whose only hesitation is financial. I can't spend your money for you, but I can tell you I've no regrets whatsoever. My relationship with the individuals at Perfitness has never felt transactional, never been hollow; they've even consulted with me on my post-filming goals, going above-and-beyond their obligation. Our bodies are the one thing we use every moment of every day; they are constantly in motion, constantly adapting to our environment, constantly representing us, regulating our health 100% of the time. What purchase isn't worth the upkeep of our most prized utility?

Hands down, Perfitness is the best company, best people I've ever met in the fitness business. Michael is the king of strategizing and implementing a plan perfectly catered to your goals. He checks in the perfect amount and acts like a therapist for all of your fitness hopes and dreams. And where do I start in describing my love for trainers Elli and Mario!? They are both are incredibly smart, experienced, constantly researching experts who truly couldn't be better at what they do. This is a company that I found by doing a lot of research and all I can say is how lucky I feel to have found them. Michael, Ellie, and Mario are the most professional trainers out there. They are the no BS, cut to the chase type of people. Their approach is simple— efficiency and results. Michael will listen to your goals in the beginning and will build a solid plan to get you to your goals in the most straightforward way possible, regardless of your starting point. I really cannot stress how efficient they really are in their approach and how important that is for someone (like me) who doesn’t have extra time to waste. The professionalism and how seriously they take it makes you feel like when you’re slipping they are there to catch you. I am so grateful to Perfitness and its team for being so on top of everything throughout this process.
The meals are so worth it if you do not have time to cook, clean, or don’t want to worry about guessing portions. Chef Taniesha is great at what she does and will listen to your needs and dietary restrictions. She works with Michael to ensure you’re getting exactly what you need, in a delicious and nutritious way.

I was a client for three months at the end of 2021. I have since reupped for an additional 6 months here in 2022. That should speak volumes as to the kind of service Perfitness and Michael provide.
To best sum up my experience, the service provided is expensive, yes, and you get everything you pay for and more.
For those who like numbers, I was 234 lbs at the beginning of September 2021, and through working out and following the diet plan Michael set up, I was 209 headed into the holidays. AND I KEPT THE WEIGHT OFF. Michael knows how to change your body's metabolism slowly but effectively. I ate like anyone eats during the holidays, drank like anyone drinks, but it did not change the progress I had made in three short months. I came back into this new year weighing in again at 209. My blood pressure was around 134/84 in September, so not great but not awful. These days on last routine doctor visit I am 118/70. This is not a fluke. and I have made no other lifestyle or pharmaceutical changes. This is all from working out and eating right via Perfitness.
The program is simple. work out three days a week (not daily, not multiple hours a day, just three, one-hour sessions with one of their personal trainers), and eat the meals as Michael suggests. Don't eat other meals, and the weight fell off me. I am stronger. More toned. And now I have goals going into 2022 I never thought I'd have in life. Not just get the scale under 200 again, but hit 185. And a lean 185. Like, look good at the beach this summer 185. And that does not sound like a pipe dream to me anymore because I know what Perfitness has done and will do for me.
Perfitness offers a flexible schedule and convenient location just off the 405 around the Playa area, but the best part is their concierge aspect. I am moving apartments and my new apartment will have a gym on site, so they are coming to me!
Every member of the company I have had the pleasure of interacting with has been top notch and as upstanding as you can hope for. I cannot recommend Perfitness enough.
Pros:
The people. A company is only as strong as its people, and the Perfitness people are literally strong.
The convenience.
The encouragement.
The results.
Cons:
I will put cost in here as a "con" sparingly, as it is an investment. But an investment in yourself. This is not a gym membership, or some ex high school athlete marketing himself as a trainer. Michael is a professional and master of his craft. You are paying for that experience and access. And the results speak for themselves. So when I say "con," I only mean in as much as the price tag may seem steep on first view but the quality of life improvement alone cannot be quantified with a dollar sign.
To summarize:
You can go out and purchase a gym membership, and use it three times and ignore it, then complain how you can't lose weight. You can purchase every diet book under the sun, then snack/cheat around the planned meals and not lose weight. Or you can seriously tell yourself it is time for a change, and not just a little one, but a full 180 degree lifestyle change to see what kind of body you can build. Perfitness was and will continue to be that conduit for me. The results speak for themselves.

I had the best experience with Perfitness. The team they form around you is by far the best you can ask for. Everything was made specifically for me. My workouts, my nutrition plan were customized to what I wanted and needed. I had tried everything to lose weight and get in shape, honestly EVERYTHING! So when my friend referred me to Perfitness, I called with high levels of doubt. But from the first meeting, it was different. Usually trainers just take your money and could care less if you actually achieve any of your goals. I called Perfitness looking for an "all-inclusive" package to not only lose weight, but also learn how to incorporate healthy meals and regular workouts into my already stretched schedule and quite sedentary lifestyle. Michael listened attentively as I expressed how unhappy I was with my health and weight, and my determination to turn things around. For years, I tried going to the gym, following a workout video program, and even a couple of apps to stay active and lose weight on my own, but to no avail. Let me start by saying that Michael has exceeded my expectations of what a trainer is. I started this year with the mindset that I’m ready to change but the type of change I was seeking required more than mere willpower. I wanted someone who could put together the equation for me and tell me where I need to plug in my effort as well as how. Michael is extremely knowledgeable about all body types. He is up to date on the latest fitness research. He knows exactly what types of exercises to include to achieve the desired results. I love his enthusiasm. I believe he is extremely generous! And he cares, which is the most important characteristic I would look for in a trainer. He is a true coach and I look forward to working with him as long as possible.

Believe the reviews that came before mine, I'm glad I did. The team at Perfitness breakdown the science and create a detailed specific gameplan of nutrition and workouts based on your goals. I wanted to get back into shape, lose some lbs, and build some muscle. In just one month I can see and feel the difference.
