Iโve been coming to PhaseFit for about 3 years. Before I went to a different HIIT gym which I liked but the clientele was a lot younger and after a while it got too intense for me. Then I went to another similar gym but got turned off by the somewhat overly-friendly management. At PhaseFit, the trainers donโt pressure you and the age range of the clientele is more diverse. The trainers are really experienced (they can offer tips on modifying exercises if you have troubled areas or recent injuries), all have their own individual training styles (some will do more cardio or more weight training), and all are friendly and supportive. In addition, the clientele are also friendly and make for a nice little community.

If you're looking for challenging workouts that focus on flexibility/mobility, strength, and stamina, this is the place to be. The trainers are highly experienced, friendly, fun and generally kick ass.

I've been going to this gym since it first opened and I can't say enough about how amazing the trainers are, what a great environment it is for focusing on your fitness goals, and what a fun and supportive culture it is. When I moved to NY for a year I still worked out with my Phase Fit trainer on facetime rather than joining a new gym, that's how much I value them!! Workouts are challenging for all fitness levels, and trainers are great about adjusting things for you individually if you have injuries or need coaching around particular activities. Honestly, look no further if you are looking for an excellent workout and and a fabulous community.

WHAT. I get to write the first review for PhaseFit?? Recently opened in a new space just a couple blocks away from Solano Ave, women-owned and run, lots of great classes to choose from, super friendly and inclusive vibe. I go to their kettlebell class on Saturday mornings and you really can't beat that crew (come join the fun!). Full disclosure, I've known these folks for years and when it comes to fitness of all levels, they know what they're doing. Special shout out to Sara, she is a one-of-a-kind coach and trainer. Try out one of her classes or personal training sessions - you'll be hooked!
