Training with Arrick at PureNFit has changed my life. I’m not exaggerating. I had gone from an active person to 100 percent sedentary. I was exhausted all the time and didn’t even want to get out of bed. Even walking was a chore and had become difficult. I was done with my day by 6:30 pm. Within a few months of working out with Arrick, I had renewed energy and small tasks were becoming easier. I wasn’t lethargic. After seven months my day starts at 5:30 am and I am busy until 10-11 at night. Everything in life is getting easier. I am smaller, stronger, my clothes fit, I can fit into normal sizes, and I am thrilled. Thank you Arrick!

I came to Pure-N-Fit with a bad shoulder and Arrick knew exactly what to do to help me get my strength back. Been with him for 9 months now and my shoulder is stronger than it's ever been. He is very focused on making sure you have good form and takes the time to make sure you are doing things right. He is incredibly supportive but also pushes you so that you continue to make gains in your strength. Can't recommend enough.

I am so glad I found Pure-N-Fit training and Arrick, the owner. I had never belonged to a gym or been much into fitness but started looking last year due to poor work posture and related pain. I wanted a more personal experience than a big-name gym and wanted a trainer who would hold me accountable. When I learned about Pure-N-Fit, it sounded perfect. I started in the weight training class, which was exactly what I was looking for to build strength and confidence, help with my posture and pain relief, and train with the support of classmates. Over time I transitioned to private training with my husband, and have appreciated how Arrick tailors the training to our individual needs and goals, while keeping good lifting form and health and safety at the forefront. I was able to train through my 37th week of pregnancy because of the custom regimen Arrick developed. I look forward to returning as soon as I'm able. For me to have stuck with it for a year and this far into my pregnancy, having never stuck to a fitness routine before, says a lot about Arrick and the great trainer he is.

Arrick has been a fantastic coach for us over the past few years. We just moved away and already miss his Monday evening boxing classes. It's a great group, and we loved that the workouts incorporated both boxing and a lot of HIIT training exercises (running, abs, cardio). Additionally, Arrick is not only a wonderful trainer but a really nice and approachable person. We appreciated the energy he brought to his classes and highly recommend going to Pure-N-Fit for your workouts, especially if you enjoy working out with fun people in group classes and are looking to improve your fitness level. 10/10 recommend.

Coach Arrick has such a way with youth. He has a balanced approach of encouraging and advancing people to believe in themselves to push past their mental roadblocks. Our son loved summer camp. I started working out with Arrick about 3 months ago as an out of shape used to be lifter/athlete. He listened to where I was at in my fitness journey and where I wanted to go. I’m not there yet, but back on my way. I appreciate how kind he was when I thought I was going to die those first few workouts. Coach Arrick has really helped my wife and I become stronger than we've ever been, particularly for me. Having mostly been a cardio guy since my high school running days, weight lifting was practically foreign to me. The progress I've made in my squats is a testament to Arrick's ability to coach you at the right levels till you reach the desired form. For the first two weeks I certainly could not squat deep enough, so he placed a box for me to tap on the decent. This allowed for me to train without much compromise until I was strong enough to get the proper depth, which happened much sooner than I could have imagined. All credit goes out to Coach for being patient yet persistent at pushing me towards my goals. I highly recommend his classes to anyone.

As a retired athlete, I was completely over exercising, being at Pure-N-Fit for a couple years now has developed a love/motivation/respect for exercise again and I am so thankful! I am not a big gym girl, I enjoy being a part of a smaller community where we all cheer each other on and grow together. I love the conquer and champ camp boxing classes. I don’t understand it but somehow the atmosphere/vibe Coach Arrick has created also brings joy in the midst of the workout. I highly recommend joining us here and supporting a local and Black owned business that will bring you health, community, joy and discipline! My first experience with Arrick and training and working out, and I have not been disappointed! I train at Pure N Fit 3 times a week. I find consistent positive training, fantastic music, and participants who take the conquer-camp classes create a perfect workout environment. I love that Arrick takes the time to get to know you, and he pushes your fitness goals in the right direction. It's a challenging workout with happy people! I see results for sure. It's a small and private gym that feels more personal. Highly recommended!!!

I found Pure-N-Fit after I received a flyer at my house. I was not moving much and had problems getting motivated to exercise on my own. I called Coach Arrick and started with a beginner/restart program. That was a perfect way for me to assess my fitness level, and learn new exercise movements at my own pace. Later I switched to the small group Conquer Camp (T,Th,Sa). However, I am confident you can integrate into the group class easily if you prefer to start that way. I have grown stronger and feel more motivated to be physically active. I look forward to work out days. I have previously tried CalFit group fitness and Orange Theory. I prefer the Pure-N-Fit approach. I feel stronger with my functional movements. It is nice seeing the same people each week. You can see how the classes work on Coach Arrick’s Instagram page. My weight has come down and I am eating better without much effort. West Sac is very lucky to have landed Coach Arrick.

Back in early 2020, I fell and broke my femur. I recovered quite well, however, since my fall, I’ve lost some strength and range of motion in my leg/hip. That needed to change! I found Pure-N-Fit Training online. I’ve been training with Arrick for about three months now and I’m feeling great! My strength, in my leg/femur, has improved and I’m, overall, feeling really good physically and mentally - WOOT! Oh! And I really enjoy the days we train/boxing! I have been training with Coach Blair for a year now and I Highly recommend him as a personal trainer and encourage anyone looking for strength training, boxing, or group classes to try out Pure-n-fit facilities . From the clean gym environment to the encouraging atmosphere. There are classes and training for all skill levels and ages .

I have been able to see visible results and feel the progress of my strength and all around physical health . Training has helped me in life tremdously. To be impowered by strength and to have a consistent workout schedule paired with accountability and encouragement has been a game changer to both my physical and mental health.

Previously gym settings have been intimidating for myself but since day 1 Coach Blair has been professional, patient , and consistent. Ive never felt out of place or discouraged. I've been training with Arrick for months how and I've made amazing progress towards my health and fitness goals. As a trainer he's committed to making sure you get the most out of your workouts. He's very attentive at correcting form, ensuring constant progress with new routines, and is patient and understanding.

When I started there I was incredibly out of shape and could barely make it through the first day. Months later I have increased strength and stamina and although workouts are still challenging, my well-being has greatly improved. He can work with you one on one to help you meet your goals, and that includes identifying problem areas and how to modify your workouts to suit them. In my case we had to work around an injured muscle in my back and he had absolutely no issue accommodating this.

For me, one on one workouts are a mix of HIIT and weights. He also has group fitness classes and he teaches boxing. He trains people of all ages. The gym is very clean and he's very good about sanitizing everything. It's a very positive environment and I'd encourage anyone to give this place a try!

I was very lucky to come across Arrick through a colleague of mine midway through the pandemic. I am an older lady and I have gained muscle back and lost some weight to boot. A side from that he is a good trainer and a good guy. I am a teacher and give him a gold star.…….. Oooops II guess in this day an age one gold star in my time line is now worth five in 2021.
