About the Club

We are a local yoga studio nestled into the neighborhood by the Lake Forest Sports Park. We offer several syles of yoga from Vinyasa Flow to Gentle and Yin Yoga emphasizing breath and the connection to your body and spirit. We also provide a Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath every two months. Check out our website for more details. We have an amazing community of yogis that make each day better than the last!

I’ve been attending this yoga studio for several months now, and I can honestly say it’s been a transformative experience. From the moment you walk in, there’s a peaceful, calming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The studio is clean, bright, and well-maintained, with soothing music that adds to the tranquil environment.

What stands out most, however, is the incredible sense of community here. It’s clear that the instructors and fellow students genuinely care about one another, and there’s always a welcoming vibe, no matter your skill level. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, you'll feel right at home.

The instructors are fantastic – not only are they knowledgeable and professional, but they also create a supportive space for personal growth. They offer clear instructions and are always available to provide modifications or adjustments, ensuring you get the most out of your practice.

The variety of classes offered is another highlight. From gentle flows and restorative sessions to more challenging power yoga, there’s something for everyone. The class schedule is flexible, so it’s easy to find times that fit into my routine.

I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice or simply find a peaceful space to relax and unwind. It’s been an amazing journey, and I look forward to continuing it with this wonderful community!

I’m new to California and looked online for a local studio. So many ate hot yoga which isn’t what I was looking for but then I found Shaanti Yoga! So many options for different skill levels and I see men and women of all ages. I’ve really been enjoying the gentle yoga classes with Julie! Janet the owner, fosters a sweet and thoughtful community and offers special events from time to time taking class outdoors, on a hike, or gather fellow yogis to celebrate the season with a pot luck! Highly recommend!!

What a lovely studio! The two classes that I took were great. Both were Vinyasa-based. The teachers were very supportive and yet their classes were challenging. You can tell that they were trained very well. I’ve been to classes where you are not certain if the teacher knows anatomy and the postures, so you don’t feel safe being in their class. This is definitely not the case at this studio. The fellow students are nice and friendly. No one judges you for your outfit or your practice (at least that’s how I felt). In terms of facilities, the practice room is extremely clean, very airy, lots of equipment. The little shop sells adorable items. I will definitely be back to practice more.

I went to the Tuesday 530pm class with Marisa and was super impressed with the class as well as the studio. It was my first time at Shaanti and it is a big bright and airy studio and still has a small community feel with people knowing each other and chatting it up before and after class. I met the owner Janet and she was very welcoming and warm. I felt like I had was being welcomed into the fold and community from the beginning.
The 75 min class was outstanding as well. Marisa managed to make the 75 mins feel like both a good physical workout and a luxurious treat for my mental health as well. It is obvious that both Janet and Marisa love what they do and I am grateful I was able to practice with them both.

My boyfriend and I went to Shaanti for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it! Neither of us is very good at Yoga (honestly, we are considered "out of shape"), but enjoy a good stretch, a nice place to quiet our mind, and move our bodies considering we work from home all day. The instructor was super welcoming and let us know just to do what our body was comfortable with (which I appreciate), the room was very relaxing and a great size and the class moved at the perfect speed; 10/10 in my opinion. Cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful, peaceful, immaculate yoga studio. This is an oasis of positive vibes and wonderful people. Shaanti is not hot/loud yoga, but traditional, chilled out and comfy. I absolutely love it there. Bonus —The prices are beyond reasonable!

As a walk-in last Tuesday (I posted a review on a different social media platform) and practiced again today, I found today's experience with the same yogi, Jenna, more satisfying primarily because she switched the Yoga Nidra to the end, just before savasana. Great background music. Jenna has a calming voice and knows restorative poses. Highly recommend her Gentle Yoga. Namaste.

Beautiful studio. It is a smaller studio but has a BIG energy feel. My first visit was wonderful. Great instructors, very knowledgable and provide you will great feedback and any needed adjustments. I will be back for sure.

I have taken many yoga classes over the years and none have been better than Casey's class. She makes you feel very welcome and comfortable in her class. I love coming to her class because she allows everyone to work at their own comfort level. There is never any competition between the participants and it is a very nonthreatening environment. I take a lot of CrossFit classes and I notice a huge positive change in my CrossFit performance when I am coming to yoga. I am more flexible and more relaxed! I would definitely recommend Baker Ranch Yoga!

Having heard all the benefits of yoga, I finally decided to include this yoga program into my private gym training. WOW!... is all I can say! Only after a couple of days, my mobility improved without a doubt! Into my second week, I am fired up and wonder why I did not do this before. I am only glad that I have NOW. I would recommend these gals Kerri, Katelyn, and Casey every day, any day! They are so patient with me and provide the attention that I certainly need. Not only has my mobility improved, my training and morale in life has increased.

First a disclaimer, I am Katelyn's father. But I still have to say that Katelyn is not only a wonderful daughter, she is also a wonderful yoga instructor! And I'll say the same of Casey (the yoga instructor part!). Both are great teachers. They bring a high level of attention to their students along with high energy to their classes. They approach each class with enthusiasm, clear purpose, and a well thought out plan. After three years of yoga that supplement a good amount of running, biking and weight lifting, I am injury free thanks to the benefits I've seen through yoga. For any runner, cross fit trainer, weight lifter or someone who wants to find tools that help them through the day, I would highly recommend trying one of their classes.

I love Kelsi's classes! I have practiced yoga for over four years, and she still remains one of my all time favorites! Every one of her classes is an amazing experience-- challenging, inspirational, healing, and always fun! She is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, and warm. She genuinely cares for each of her students and makes sure that every yogi feels successful.

Kelsi is the best yoga instructor I have ever had. She is experienced, well-rounded in her skills, and really knows how to balance and design a session. I have gone to a lot of yoga studios in Los Angeles and Orange County, and I am experienced at yoga, and Kelsi is one of my favorite instructors. I have always come out of her sessions feeling ten times better than I felt beforehand. Truly healing experience- every time!

I love the teachers here! My favorites are Katelyn, Casey, and Louise. They are all very knowledgeable, not just about the poses and the physical body, but they also stay very true to the history and philosophy behind yoga. They all teach a nice paced flow class. Katelyn has a very calming energy, Casey will make sure you take the time to get into poses correctly, and Louise will make you SWEAT. It's a great place to practice!

I was a yoga skeptic. A long-time runner, I had never done any physical exercise in a group, but as my knees and lower back made clear it was time for a change, I went to my first yoga practice. Three + years on, and I am completely hooked, and I thank Casey and Katelyn for making it all happen. I have long since lost track of how many classes I’ve taken with both. These two women bring to their instruction deep knowledge of yoga, the body, the mind, and the spirit. They bring commitment, energy, enthusiasm, support, compassion, and yes, humor and playfulness to the studio. They never push, and they always encourage. Whether you’re just beginning or you’re on your millionth downward dog, you’ll be glad you wandered into their studio.

Katelyn and Casey are the BEST!

Living in Los Angeles and Orange County, I have had the special opportunity to take classes from many gifted and talented yoga practitioners. Without a doubt, the classes I most consistently enjoy are those taught by either of these two. Both are able to bring something new and different to each class experience, emphasize proper technique and body alignment, and create an invigorating atmosphere in the studio.

I leave class feeling energized both mentally and physically- love these guys!

I've always heard how great yoga is for you but was amazed how I felt after attending Casey's yoga class. She is a great teacher and really customizes her classes to her clientele. The stretching has been great for my back and I've really been enjoying added yoga to my workouts!
