The coaches are great. There’s lots of themed classes and giveaways at this location too. The studio is spacious and has 2 bathrooms + 1 changing room, making it convenient to change before class and freshen up after class. The studio is also conveniently located by a lot of other fitness studios, trader joe's, safeway, and other stores for times where you might need to run an errand. There's also plenty of parking in front of solidcore and behind in the parking structure.

Solidcore MV is the best workout and studio. It has helped me rediscover my core after having kids and its changed my body in a short period of time. The coaches are helpful and friendly, the studio is clean and welcoming. I look forward to my workouts. Its the most challenging yet fun 50 minutes you'll find out there and I feel stronger every day.

Sadly, a disappointing “workout”…no demo was given just poor explanations of the exercises were given, and huge lack of quality exercises, some plank, a few squats, minute or so of biceps and a tiny bit of obliques…but again, in all the workouts I’ve done (which is a lot), and many many different Pilates type classes, exercises were just lacking altogether…I think my 5 minute easy walk to and from the studio may have been more of a workout. To be fair -the Instructor had great energy and was kind as were the front desk staff lady and gentleman… but I think if you are fit, this is not a class that’s worth your time. Maybe there are better instructors or better classes? Certainly not worth $40!

Amazing studio! As someone who has never used a reformer before, Gabrielle's class was a great intro. Her guidance was thorough, the music kept me engaged, and Gabby was quick to help me adjust the springs when she sensed that I needed help. Will definitely be back soon!

I love this studio! It's spacious, clean, and the coaches + front desk staff are super friendly. I usually take class in the mornings and personally love coach Gab (great energy and playlists), Jeff (kind and supportive), and Patrick (great with explaining form)! The coaches really care about the clients and are very welcoming to new people.
I've noticed that the 1-star reviews are usually from people who are angry about the late policy because they are unable to manage their time properly. As a client, I can say it is SUPER distracting to both coach and clients when people come in late, so I am personally glad they have this policy and just do my best to come in on time or early. Lots of studios have this policy.
If you've never tried [solidcore] before, don't be nervous! Give it a try and you won't regret it!

Can’t go wrong with Solidcore!! My fave coaches at this location are Vyvy and Patty!! So positive, super sweet gals and amazing coaches!! I bounce around between this location and Santana Row, and honestly, after more than 100 classes, I can’t recommend this place enough!! The late policy is clear, cancellation policies are completely fair, and I love that late policies are enforced because I hate the door whipping open and closed often to accommodate latecomers when I’m trying to concentrate on a class I paid for 🥹. Some of the other reviews mention lack of staff to greet you at the front, but between the door code and the in-app unlock function, you don’t always need a front desk rep (especially if it’s tough for the business to staff core crew around the clock). If you’re a reasonable and responsible person, you shouldn’t have any issues! And you’ll get to enjoy an amazing experience with equally amazing people!!

Solidcore is definitely challenging, but in the best way. It really pushes me and gives me the motivation to do better. I love the overall vibe and the constant encouragement from the instructors. The instructors I’ve taken classes with, Klaudia, Madeline, and Patty, are all fantastic. They not only bring great energy but also take the time to demonstrate and correct form, which helps reduce the risk of injury and makes the workout more effective. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tough but rewarding workout.

I’d like to thank the entire solidcore MV team for such an amazing experience. Solidcore has been the first workout I’ve truly enjoyed. It has helped me improve my strength, confidence, and overall health in ways no other workout has. I’ve tried Orange Theory, Pure Barre, Barry’s, and pilates. These were all good/fine but nothing compares to the results and progress I’ve made here.
The coaches are incredible—special thanks to Coach Jerri, Patty, Matt, Vyvy, Sami, and Jeff for making every class fun, challenging, and welcoming. All of the other coaches are fantastic as well (I haven't taken a class that I didn't enjoy). I really appreciate how they take the time to know my name and encourage me each session :)
If you’re considering joining, don’t be intimidated...the most important part is always giving it your best try! Every workout is challenging but the coaches will guide you and the community is so supportive. You’ll be surprised by how strong you get, how quickly you see progress, and how much fun the classes are. The energy in the studio is always uplifting and I leave feeling accomplished every time.
Like any other studio, there are rules to follow. Doors open 10 minutes before class and they close 5 minutes into class. This is out of respect for the other members and for the coach leading. I’ve never had an issue with this policy and it actually helps improve class focus, safety, and flow.
I’m so glad I started my solidcore journey. Since January 2025, I've already taken 70+ classes and I never thought I could improve my strength beyond a push-up. I'm also the most toned and fit I've ever been my whole life. Excited to continue for as long as I can! Thank you all.

This is an incredible studio that I can’t recommend highly enough. I’ve taken about 45 classes here with 5 different instructors (Klaudia O, Savannah J, Gabrielle G, Jeff H, Maddie T), and every single one has been excellent. The staff is very friendly and really gets to know you over time.
I’d done 6+ years of CrossFit when my sister dragged me to a pilates class in Raleigh about 5 months ago. I was intrigued. When I got back to the Bay, I tried 16 classes across 5 pilates studios over about 2 months (via ClassPass), and Solidcore Mountain View was the clear winner. I’ve been pushed here harder than I’ve been pushed anywhere else. The upbeat music and the dark room really allows me to get in the zone and sweat like crazy. I cancelled my CrossFit membership, became an unlimited member here, and without a doubt I am fitter now than I ever was with CrossFit (and less beat up).
As a guy, I also appreciate that this location consistently has more men than I saw at other studios, which makes the environment feel balanced and comfortable. I’ve brought three male friends here already, with two more CrossFitters lined up to try it.
A note for anyone reading the negative reviews: the main complaint I’m seeing is from people arriving late not being allowed in. In my opinion, the late policy is actually very generous — the first 5 minutes are an essential warmup for these really intense classes (not to mention the coaches demoing new movements BEFORE class), so it’s largely a safety issue. If anything I’ve seen the staff be too generous in letting people in who are very late. Oh, and don’t overlook all the glowing reviews from those who love the workouts, coaches, and staff!
Another perk of this particular studio is that just outside there’s a big grassy area with picnic tables where I stretch out after class a lot, Trader Joe’s, Mendocino Farms, and so much more nearby given its San Antonio Shopping Center location.
If you’re curious or on the fence: try it. This place is the real deal.

Thursday, Aug 6, 3pm class: The receptionists Vikky and Nikky did not let me in upon being 7min late, patronizing and disrespectful tone, no desire to meet the clients’ need whatsoever.
Do better.

Classes themselves are good with equipment and changing rooms. The service however, is terrible. Only one person who is teaching the class watches the studio, so if you attend for the first time you wouldn’t know. There’s a late policy that isn’t outlined in their emails. It’s posted a foot above the keypad where everyone would actually look vs have to struggle to see.
If you come on time and step out, I recommend asking someone to hold the door because the keypad won’t work and all of a sudden you’re locked out without all your things. There’s no number to call because no one picks up and overall they couldn’t care less if you missed a class because you still paid for it even if you were there.
Don’t recommend this studio at all. I understand if the policy was outlined right when you sign up like every other reputable studio, but nothing is outlined, you just have to suffer the consequences of not knowing.
People also don’t check you in so you either make it or you don’t they don’t care.

Savvanah M is an incredible Solidcore coach. She takes the time to get to know everyone in class and always offers form corrections. Her energy is consistently positive in all her classes. She’s very welcoming and encouraging to all beginners in her class. She creates a supportive environment for all levels. If you have the chance, definitely book a class with her. She is hands down the best coach at this location.

I've attended my share of different types of exercise classes (corepower, bikram yoga, orange theory, etc) and last week I participated in my first Solidcore class. I have to say it's an excellent and efficient class for those short on time and yet wish to have an effective workout. Love the energy, music and enthusiasm of the instructors. Glad I found them!

OMG! Found my new obsession! I was devastated when my fave barre studio closed. Barre student for 15 yrs - great shape. I needed something close, friends had been raving about this place -- so I gave it a shot. Wow! Talk about a workout! I was new/unfamiliar w "power" Pilate-- but the staff was so upbeat, positive, encouraging, giving plenty of guidme ance, motivating as hell. I'm 50 -- no spring chicken -- and couldn't have been more thrilled. I've had 3 different instructors -- 1 male, 1 female brunette, 1 female blonde (shame on me for not getting names right away). Each one equally as impressive & motivating. I'm officially hooked.

Good workout, but staff isn’t the most friendly. During my 2 week trial period, I was 6 minutes late to a class. Nobody informed me of the late period. There was a man working who wouldn’t let me in or even talk to me. I knocked on the door and he looked at me and walked away. Then I called the studio, nobody answered. It goes straight to voicemail and they don’t call back. Good workout, but community is important in small studios that offer classes. If you’re looking for a place to meet friendly people before/after your class, I wouldn’t recommend this studio.

New location of Solidcore. The gym room is too warm for high intensity workout. Prefer stronger AC.

If you want a killer workout with a great, friendly, inclusive crowd, this is your place.
If you're in shape you'll be shocked at how hard it is. You'll work muscles you didn't know you had.
If you're a beginner they will show you how to do it and cheer you on.

Second Update: Team responded and fixed my membership. Still a little frustrating that their sales team is off-site when you have an issue with your membership and payment. But glad they were able to finally fix it. Love this workout! Fave instructors so far are Dougie, Enza and Matt!
Update: if you have an issue with your membership, you have to reach out to their sales team who is not on site. I have an issue with my membership and I’ve now been waiting a week for a response. However, their sales team was instantly available when I wanted to sign up for a membership. Waiting to hear a response now that I’ve emailed three different email addresses - and will update this review once I do.
Original post: I’m obsessed! I love working out and am a yoga instructor, but was craving something new and challenging - this hits the spot! The burn from these workouts is addicting and I can’t wait to see the results. I love the vibe and that you can be in and out in 50 minutes. My only feedback is that many of the instructors are new and you can tell the difference in your body when you have someone more experienced — give them time and this studio will be the talk of the town (as if it isn’t already!). The prices are steep (more expensive than Barry’s, which has more benefits and studio features - crazy!) - but I got the founder’s rate to justify the monthly cost.
