Out of town drop in student for a flow with Meg, which was great. Catherine was super pleasant and check in was a breeze - she made sure I made the class.

First for me at this studio is the ability to reserve a spot in the room. Haven’t made up my mind about it good or bad, but it is a feature that they offer.

The space was clean and had everything I needed as a traveling student. Students were friendly. I recommend. Had a great time, I love hot yoga.

I can't say enough good things about Spark Yoga. I had a three month membership while I lived at home in SLO during a period of intense transition (moving out of the country). Spark classes were my reprieve and refuge from the craziness. KJ and Heather were my go-to teachers. I love their energy, presence, and style of Yoga flow - a fun, hard core workout, cleanse, and meditation in one. Exactly what I needed. I appreciate that Spark offers a range of classes - from flow and power yoga, to barre and bootcamp, there's something for everyone! I already miss Spark, the instructors and classes, it's worth every penny.

So I went in just 10 minutes ago to check out the place and the front desk worker was very unresponsive and condescending in her tone and voice. I asked about classes and then talked about memberships and she was very short with her responses. To clarify this is the location on Foothill. I have heard so many great things about Spark Yoga from friends but unfortunately was rubbed off the wrong way :/

The Hot Pilates and Ab classes. All the classes are great. The teachers are what makes each class so special. The showers are a great addition. Also, the front desk gals are so amazing and make you feel welcome and cared about. They also keep the floors and studio really clean and manage all the students entering efficiently . I could go on and on how much I love your studio Steph. Your studio is my favorite studio I have ever been to. It makes each person who comes to your studio happier, more positive, flexible, stronger, healthier, empowering each person to believe in themselves and honor themselves. KJ is an amazing instructor who genuinely cares about folks in her class. Her Live Music class in particular is unique and fun. It's drawn me back into yoga and I'm enjoying trying other classes now too.As a whole I also love the iced lavender towels at the end of every session. The people at the counter as well as the other instructors I've met seem very friendly and open too.

Such a fantastic studio! So clean and spacious and gorgeous. Such friendly staff and wonderful teachers too! I don’t live in SLO, but I visit my family there from time to time and I always say that Spark is my studio away from home. I teach at a heated studio in LA and am so grateful for Spark’s heated classes and knowledgeable teachers.

Everyone was so friendly and I felt very welcome!! I am a RYT and have been practicing yoga for almost 20 years, at a lot of different studios around the Bay Area and world, and I have to say that I have never felt more welcomed into a studio than I was into Spark on Monday—and it is hands down THE most important thing to me about a studio. The women at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, and KJ went out of her way to come and introduce herself to me, and chat a bit before class (I told her I was in town only for a day to find a wedding dress). And even though she knew I was likely never going to return (because I life in SF) she seemed so genuinely interested in my life and making me feel welcome to Spark. After class, I was so impressed when she remembered my name and wished me good luck in finding my dress. It is also worth mentioning that she was greeting and saying goodbye to everyone in class by their name. On top of that, her sequencing was simple (in the best way possible!) and incredibly intentional, and throughout class she did a phenomenal job of continuing to create community throughout the duration of class. And the live music (by Michael?) was such a great addition. I will definitely be recommending Spark yoga to anyone visiting SLO in the future!

Great classes but their class schedule on their website is not accurate. I drove 40 mins to take a class that wasn't happening. Basic Business 101 is to have your classes listed on your website accurately! Hopefully they can fix this. Also they never answer the phone. I would love to see them assign someone to this task by rerouting the call to an assigned person or something. It's frustrating when I want to ask questions about upcoming classes but NO one it answering the phones. Great yoga but get you business practices up to par Spark Yoga - you need both to be great!

I absolutely LOVE Spark! Everything about the studio is awesome. The instructors are always amazing, the environment is always really friendly and inviting, and there are even tons of little extra things that make the experience special (like receiving a frozen lavender towel after class--so awesome!). Unfortunately I don't live in SLO, but I make it a point to visit Spark every time I'm in town. I recommend this studio to everyone I talk to who does live in the area!

I was introduced to Spark Back in November 2018, and I have attended a class everyday sometimes 2 since then. Front desk staff always has a great attitude and are very welcoming. Instructors are AMAZING!! they have a great attitude/energy all the time and, Some classes start off talking about what your intentions are, and what you want to gain out of your practice. It's refreshing and nice to think about during your practice. Sculpt class/Pilates are GREAT,AMAZING, and MAKE YOU WORK!! needless to say I love spark and happy I found a great gem.

I took an excellent class at Spark Yoga. The spacious studio was quickly filled within a few minutes of the door opening. The instructor led us through a thoughtful class that had us breaking a sweat very quickly in an already warm room. Meditative, spiritual, and physically challenging, I'd recommend this studio to anyone traveling to or living in SLO.

Convenient and friendly hot yoga studio! I always love a challenging fitness class and Spark works my body in a good way, every time! I love the variety of classes and instructors, all with their unique vibe added to the class. I feel a total shift in the overall wellness of my body and mind when I make Spark classes a priority in my week. I have become less sore, more flexible and more in tune with my body and mind’s needs through attending classes for over a year at Spark. I've been to many studios and there are those that you go to once and have a nice experience, but then you find a studio that you feel the good vibes of the space and want to keep coming back. Spark Yoga is that studio. It's very warm and inviting. The teachers have very informative ques and insert hints of poetic script to their practice. Everything flows really well. Also everyone is so sweet. I will definitely be coming back to this studio in the future.

Spark is a great little yoga space in SLO. I like the hour long class lengths, class style variety, and plethora of equipment. As someone who has been taking wellness classes around SLO for 15 years, and taught them around the community for 10 years, I love what this space is up to and look forward to seeing how they continue to evolve! Thanks for doing what you do, Spark! Some very specific personal preferences: The heat gets overwhelming for me sometimes. The classes can be so fast paced and loud that I can't hear what the next move is and by the time I figure it out the instructor has moved on. I wouldn't expect the studio to change those things though, they seem to be part of the vibe and most students seem to love those parts of the classes so it's likely just me :)
