I've been training at Steadfast Athletics for one month and the experience has been nothing short of amazing! The facility itself Is located at their home. It is clean and well-equipped even though they are still in the process of completing it. It inspires me just knowing that Steadfast Athletics is dedicated to creating an atmosphere to build self-esteem.Whether you're there for strength training, conditioning, or overall fitness Steadfast Athletics has proven to be the right place for me.
But what truly sets Steadfast apart specifically For me, is my trainer, Lena.
Lena brings an incredible blend of professionalism, knowledge, and motivation to every session. She takes the time to understand your goals, limitations, and strengths, then crafts workouts that are challenging but doable—pushing you just enough to grow without risking burnout or injury. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she’s always quick to adjust your form, modify exercises, or explain the why behind the movement.
What I appreciate most is that Lena genuinely cares—not just about results, but about you as a person. She’s supportive, encouraging, and brings a positive energy that makes even the toughest workouts something to look forward to.
If you’re looking for a gym that’s focused on real progress and a trainer who’s committed to your success, I can’t recommend Steadfast Athletics and Lena highly enough.

I almost joined a gym in Marysville but when I realized it would take an additional 45min out of my morning, I quickly realized how unproductive that would be of my time. That’s when I did some digging and was stoked when I found Steadfast Athletics here in Plumas Lake! They have everything you need for a solid workout and Lena is the sweetest, realest person ever! Super knowledgeable, always correcting my form to ensure I get the most out of my workout, always showing up for me ready to rock, holds me accountable, shares the importance of gut health and all these natural things your body needs, and don’t need, to perform properly and it’s just SO much better than a gym! You don’t have to share or wait for equipment with a 100 other germy people, there are no auto pay requirements, no start up fees, no traffic. Just in and out, and carry on with your day! It’s for sure plumas lakes little hidden gem!

Richard is an awesome trainer who is super knowledgeable and easy to work with. He can customize a workout program as well as a nutrition program depending on your needs. He wants to ensure your success with whatever goals you set for yourself. I started training with Richard back in October 2023 and have made more progress with him than I ever did working out on my own. His workouts are something I look forward to every week and would highly recommend Steadfast Athletics.

I started working out with Richard at Steadfast Athletics in the summer of 2023. My goals were to lose weight and improve my overall health.
Richard helped me achieve both goals and I enjoy continuing to work out and learn new ways to stay fit. Richard tailors each workout plan to meet specific objectives, and it’s nice knowing that when you show up he has everything ready to go.
Steadfast Athletics is based here in Plumas Lake so it’s super convenient for me. The five minute drive takes away a lot of excuses about showing up 😅

Since starting training, 2 months ago, I have increased my deadlift and squat PRs by over 40 lb each, and lost over 10 lb of bodyweight. I have made more progress, in a shorter amount of time, with Steadfast Athletics, than I have with any other training program.

Richard is a great guy and very knowledgeable trainer. He has tailored a program specifically for my son’s sports needs and a diet journal as well. Would 100% recommend hiring him as your personal trainer. Also has better rates than pretty much anywhere around the area.
