StepX is the ultimate fitness experience! Low impact, full body workout that combines cardio, resistance & strength training designed for all fitness levels! It is an unique group fitness, HIIT workout! You take it at your own pace, at your own level no matter what class you’re taking. The cardio pushes are on a stair stepper where we walk, climb, jog, run, sprint, jump rope, jump squat, high knees, butt kicks & more! Each class we target different muscle groups using dumbbells & resistance bands to constantly challenge you so that your body never reaches a plateau! Each class holds up to 19 members with one certified instructor, high definition video wall with surround sound system & lighting that will keep you energized all class!

So glad I joined StepX! After having my second kid, getting back in shape felt impossible. I tried everything that used to work for me, but nothing stuck. StepX is the only class that has actually delivered results and fits into my life. In just 3 months, I’ve lost weight, my clothes fit better, and I feel stronger.
Keri is an amazing instructor. She’s supportive but also motivates you to keep pushing yourself. She mixes up cardio and weights in each class, so you're never bored and the hour flies by. The environment is very welcoming, and the other members are genuinely encouraging. With a full-time job and two kids, I also really appreciate that the class times fit my schedule.

I had a baby in July 2024 and didn’t really work out during pregnancy or in the months after. One of my friends slowly got me back into it in March of this year, so I spent that month trying out different studios and classes. Fast forward to mid-April: I discovered StepX when I attended a class at a nearby studio. I saw that StepX offered a free class for first-timers and a discount on a 2-week trial, so I thought I’d give it a try.
The workouts combine cardio and weights, with each class targeting different parts of the body. They also offer strength training that focuses just on weights. I used to go to the gym on my own and honestly had no clue what I was doing. At StepX, the workouts are structured with sequences of cardio and weights.
My favorite part, though, is the group setting—everyone pushes through together, which makes it fun and motivating. The place itself has such a welcoming vibe. Keri, the owner/instructor, is amazing!! She encourages us by using our names and somehow always manages to destroy us by the end of class. She’s hilarious with her witty remarks, and the banter between her and the class always makes me laugh, even when I’m dying mid-set. She also keeps an eye on form and gives corrections when needed, which I really appreciate.
I’ve never sweat more in a class, but I honestly love it. I find that burning feeling and post-workout soreness oddly satisfying—and I definitely need the dopamine. As they say: no pain, no gain! Three months later, I still haven’t found another workout I enjoy this much. I’m so glad I found StepX!!

I recently joined StepX and I’m so glad I did.
The classes are a great mix of fun and challenge - you’ll leave feeling amazing. In just a month and a half, I can genuinely feel myself getting stronger. I love it so much that I even got one of my best friends to sign up too and she loves it just as much. Keri is great..she pushes you to reach your full potential in the best way. The community is so welcoming and encouraging, which makes all the difference. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get stronger and feel their best!

I have been going to StepX for over a month now. I have stopped exercising for over a year prior with a new baby and all. Hated the way I felt and looked so I started looking into classes that was nearby and something that kept me motivated. I know I didn’t like cross fit type of classes and really enjoyed my biking classes I did a few years ago. This is similar with exercising in the dark and loud but fun music throughout the class. Keri is very passionate in her role and she encourages and sometimes calls you out when necessary lol. Overall, great classes and fun people to be around. Going to try to attend a few times a week!

How lucky I was to have found this amazing workout place in google!! I am finishing my two weeks trial and it has been such a positive experience! Keri has been extremely welcoming every single day that I have attended! She is ready to answer my questions, offer words of encouragement, and promote a friendly environment to everyone!
The group of people who I have been working out with, are also extremely welcoming and they have made me feel that I have been part of the group for a long time.
The workout is everything I was looking for; high energy, weights training included into the 1 hour workout, the music keep you going, and best of all a 5:00 am class! I have also tried the “Strength Training” classes and they are fun and great addition to the daily workout!
I am looking forward to continuing working out at Step X Extreme Results to accomplish my fitness goals! Don’t hesitate to take the free class and the two weeks trial deal. You will not be disappointed! You are going to love it!!

If you’re looking for an amazing cardio workout out, you found it!!! I’ve been coming to StepX for over a year now and I am obsessed! I take evening classes taught by David, and he has the most amazing and infectious energy ever! He makes each class so fun and unique! The works outs are tough, but definitely doable! He will modify if needed, and he will keep you motivated all hour long! The music he plays is impossible not to move along to. Come sweat with us and see for yourself how much fun you’ll be having!

When it comes to burning the same high number of calories while having fun, nothing compares to StepX.
The classes are always lively, and engaging and are truly a full 60 minutes (never a minute less). The time flies by so fast you won’t even realize it was an hour.
I've been coming here since 2019, and since then, my endurance has grown. I now frequently choose to use the stairs instead of elevators in my daily life.
The step workouts offer an excellent blend of cardio and strength training, providing a full-body workout by using weights and resistance bands both on and off the stepper to target specific muscle groups.
Additionally, they have a strength session that uses only weights—no steppers—that will push your strength to the limit and aid in the definition of your muscles.
Throughout all workouts, the teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, constantly observing each student's form and encouraging them to reach their greatest potential. It is like receiving personal training in a group environment.

I have been going to StepX for almost two years and now I can’t imagine a life without it! I’ve always loved working out, but now I love it even more. The classes are a mix of cardio and strength training, which is perfect because it keeps up my endurance and helps me build muscle. I have been going to StepX since it opened years ago. I have taken some time off during pregnancies (however I was able to go for most of my first!) and I keep going back because StepX is truly the best. Who knew a stair stepper workout would be a game-changer for me. I’ve been looking for a low impact but intense and effective exercise. I finally found it! Keri, the owner/trainer is extremely knowledgeable and passionate in what she does. She takes interest in everyone no matter what fitness level you're at. Her exercise emphasizes BOTH the upper and lower body at the same time by her own structured techniques, and by adding weights. You leave her class feeling energized and accomplished.

This place is on fire!!! I needed to get out of my rut of running and spinning and this place lured me in!!! Fabulous instructor Keri provides you with a full body high intensity cardio workout!!! 60 minutes flew by- The music is insanely addicting- big screen tv’s surrounding you. I love StepX! It’s a very high energy, judgement free and everyone can work out at their own pace. It’s a high energy work out with an amazing owner/master trainer that always pushes you to do your best in all areas even at home, work and during your work out. Keri motivates you to be a better you! I lost 22 pounds from when I started coming to StepX just by making smarter decisions and listening to all the words that Keri delivers you while doing a high intense workout. I have never pushed myself during a work out harder than at StepX and Keri will make sure you are not cheating in a good way! I’ve been coming to Step X for over a year. Prior to finding this place, I tried the gym, kickboxing, cycling and this is hands down the best workout! It’s a 1 hour full body workout class that incorporates cardio and strength training. Not only have I lost weight but I’ve gained muscle. The dark room with neon lights and music videos throughout the room makes it fun. Keri is very motivating. I highly recommend this class!

I joined StepX with no expectations. I’ve always done strength training with little to no cardio at all and I’ve just been slowly getting back to working out after a bad injury so I was not even sure I was going to survive a class. BUT, 7 months later and 12 lbs lighter, I can honestly say StepX made me fall in love with working out all over again! Is it the music? Is it the members? Is it Keri? It’s all of the above!!! The music provides this high energy atmosphere and just makes you want to keep going. The members are always happy to come to class and very encouraging. And Keri? What can I say? She’s awesome! My husband and I both go to StepX and love it. Keri works you hard while keeping you motivated and having fun. We had no idea how many different moves could be done on a step machine! In addition to on the machine, Keri incorporates off the machine weight training so you get strength and cardio in every class. The studio has a great community feel, when you walk in everyone is friendly and it's very welcoming. We're a couple of happy regulars!

This review is long overdue!!!
I was previously going to a well known group fitness class for close to two years with no success.
I joined StepX November 2019, and within a month of going, I began to see an immediate noticeable positive difference in me. I felt more energized and started seeing my body getting leaner. (This was the best part 😊 ) Overall I feel really good about my health!
Keri is an amazing trainer and really pushes you to do your best! I love the fun and friendly atmosphere while working out. Even during the shutdown, Keri had meticulously planned Zoom sessions to keep us motivated and going.
StepX is an awesome hidden gem in the heart of Mission Viejo and I am so glad to be a part of it!

I love this place! It is the best workout I have ever done. I have already lost 15lbs and have literally seen my body completely change. It is a very warm and welcoming environment. This is, hands down, the most amazing place to workout! Up until I joined I was always intimidated by cardio workouts. Amazing new workout in Mission Viejo. Totally impressed with this work out. Not only did I burned 300 calories in the hour we worked out but the motivation and the excitement of the group was contagious! They have a digital wall with Awesome music videos. The workout was on a stair stepper and we were off and on working all body parts. Sit ups, push ups, squats. Seemed like All muscles were engaged at all times. The instructor, Keri, was so helpful. She seemed to care about all of us getting the best workout encouraging us every step of the way. I bought 2 weeks tried it out started to see results then joined. If you like working out definitely give it a chance. The first class is always free.

What I love about StepX is the workouts are all varied and well constructed to include cardio, weights, resistance, and endurance in a way that has you leaving each class feeling complete and excited. It's like a really awesome ride at an amusement park where when you get off, you want to run back to the end of the line and do it again! I have NEVER felt this way about working out.
The instructors are super supportive, and offer variations for all levels - from athlete to newbies like me. They lead by example and are living examples of how you can perform and look if you eat clean and work hard. They work out with each group and in doing so they provide inspiration and encouragement.
Reserving your classes and checking in electronically is simple and your class confirmations are sent via email with "add to calendar" options to make scheduling a breeze. I like early AM classes and weekends and StepX offers both.
Lastly, the atmosphere here and the other members is off the hook. It's rare in So Cal to walk into a place and feel genuine, positive, fun-loving people but at StepX it is a community filled with positive peeps and great energy.
