Been coming here for the last couple months and am very grateful for a space like this! Coach D and all the women here are incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable. I’ve always wanted to go to the gym and lift- but was always too nervous to do it alone. I work well under guidance and really appreciate Coach D’s close watch throughout the class. Been coming here for about 4weeks now and am absolutely loving it! It's such a welcoming and gracious environment with women of all levels, ages and experience taking part. It's so nice to feel safe in all aspects of the word in that it's a judgement free vibe and to be surrounded by people that want to help and support each other. I credit that tone to Coach D and his style of training...not to mention his great playlists!
The flexibility of the class schedule has been a godsend and a huge relief when dealing with LA traffic. I look forward to class and leave feeling so good about myself. I can't say enough good things about The Bakery and I'm so happy I went out of my comfort zone and joined!

When I was looking for a new gym I came across The Bakery on social media. I decided to go for a complimentary session & I met Coach D. As soon as I walked into the gym, the vibes were just there. The workout itself was so good & the music playlist was chefs kiss!! I was sold then & there.
I love the fact that I dont have to think about what exercises I need to do, the coach already has them for you. All we focus is on getting the work done, pushing ourselves all while the coaches help you with form and tips on how to get the best results. At the same time offering praise & hyping you up!
It really is great. It quickly became my favorite place to be.
All the coaches are amazing! Oh they have boxing classes too!
The gym is clean, with top tier equipment! On top of that it’s an all women’s gym and it’s motivating & inspiring to see everyone kick butt!!

I’ve been going here for three months and I love it. The gym is always clean and being women only makes it really comfortable. Cannot say enough good things about this women’s only gym! Coach D is highly educated and extremely experienced, and it shows in everything he does. He is incredibly intentional with every single workout—nothing is random, everything has a purpose. He structures the workouts in four-week cycles, which makes it so easy to track progress and actually see results. Not to mention the gym itself is spotless and so well-maintained.

What really stands out is that Coach D walks around the entire time, constantly correcting form and making sure everyone is safe. That kind of attention makes such a huge difference and gives me so much confidence in my training.

On top of that, the gym is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. He has the Evolt 360 body scanner machine (there are only 4 in a 15 mile radius) that shows exactly how much fat you’re losing and where your body is changing.

I personally started seeing results in just three weeks, and now two months in, I’m completely obsessed. This is exactly what my body has been needing, and I finally feel like I’m on the right track to hitting my goals. Highly recommend

I've been attending The Bakery for a couple of months, and it has been life-changing. As a former athlete with several injuries, worst being chronic knee pain and shoulder issues, I was hesitant to start a new training program, but the coaches here are incredible. The small group training creates such a supportive and empowering environment. The personalized attention to form, especially with my knees and shoulder, has been a game-changer. The Bakery is exactly what I didn’t know I needed!
I’m 52 years old with a 12-year-old daughter who keeps me on my toes, and I was finding it harder and harder to keep up. My mind and body felt tired all the time. I was an athlete growing up, but over time the muscle I had started to fade. My motivation to work out was gone, and with the demands of my job, I just didn’t have the energy to prioritize myself.

Then I found The Bakery! From the very beginning, Coach Daniel took the time to talk with me about my goals and why I wanted to get back in shape. He also helped me reflect on things I’d need to improve outside of the gym—definitely still a work in progress. He’s a great motivator and knows exactly how much to push me, even when I think I can’t do more. Just this week he told me, “the training wheels are off,” so I push… lol then my body reminds me of my age 😅

I started on June 22 with two strength training sessions and one cardio class each week. I began at 138 pounds and am now at 132. More importantly, I feel better, stronger, and I’m making healthier choices outside of the gym 💪🏽

Training at The Bakery with Coach D has been a game changer. My butt’s getting bigger (hello glutes 🍑), I’m getting stronger, and I can actually feel the difference. Coach D doesn’t let you slack, if you grab the baby weights, he’s already calling you out and handing you the heavy ones, all while talking smack like it’s his full-time job. No hiding in his class!

The trainer here is very professional and he is no nonsense.
The coach is very knowledgeable about the anatomy , supplements nutrition and preventing injuries.

This is why I’m here to correct all the years of injuries and damage that I’ve done to myself from improper form and lifting.

Being 3 months in, I’ve noticed a significant change/improvement in my mental health. I truly look forward to my gym days.

I've been attending the strength training classes for the past four weeks, and I've already noticed a significant shift in my progress. After nearly a year of Pilates, I felt I needed to add to my routine in order to achieve my goals more efficiently.

For a while, I'd been eager to start a gym routine focused on building strength for longevity. However, fear and uncertainty about where to begin held me back. Fortunately, coming in to the bakery has eliminated those fears. Coach Daniel guides you through the program from the outset, ensuring a comfortable and confident start.

After the initial meeting, it's been up to me to commit to regular attendance and consistency. Although I was nervous on my first day, I quickly felt at ease. Each class begins with clear explanations of sets, proper form, and technique. The group setting is supportive and welcoming, All the women are at different fitness levels showing up with a shared goal.

This has been a great investment for me. I genuinely look forward to each class, and even on days when feeling unmotivated, I leave feeling accomplished.

Although the clases I attend are in a group, there’s always a sense of 1:1 because HE’S ALWAYS WATCHING lol and correcting your form to prevent any injuries. I joined The Bakery about 2 weeks ago and spent the 5th hour of my 40th bday here - I’m addicted! It is a sanctuary for some bad ass women who show up and give every session their all. There is no BS, top of the line equipment, and Coach D makes sure form is prioritized so old women like myself don’t walk out limping but instead come out stronger than they were before they came in. Never thought I would say this but lifting weights is becoming my thing. I’m 53 and when I signed up I couldn’t even lift the bare barbell. The first week was rough but I kept showing up 3 days a week for strength classes and I’ve gotten stronger and stronger.

If I had one word to describe The Bakery, it would definitely be "life-changing." I started about 5 months ago wanting to make a lifestyle change to improve my physical and mental health, but had little experience in weightlifting and gyming in general. However, Coach D provides great guidance and is patient and motivating in the strength training and cardio classes. He is the outward persona of the little voice in my head that encourages me to keep going.

I like that there is already a workout routine set for each class so I don’t have to overthink about what to do and can, instead, focus on the workout itself and enjoy the bumpin’ music. The equipment at this gym is also awesome.

I joined The Bakery a year ago and it’s been the best investment I’ve made into both my mental and physical health. Showing up consistently has completely changed my life, and I owe that both to Coach D and the women in this community.

I joined the strength class never having touched a barbell in my life, and Coach D was patient and encouraging, explaining everything and making sure I knew what to do. It wasn’t long before my confidence began to build and so did my strength. A year later, my confidence is through the roof, and I love the way I look and feel. Most importantly, I know I have a coach and a group of women who will always support me.

We all know weight lifting is important for our health but don't know where/how to begin. The Bakery is the perfect place to start. But don't be fooled, it's not just for beginners, either- Coach D is meticulously watching for form and will make corrections. However, if he feels like you're going too light in weight he will call you out on the spot 😅.
The gym can appear intimating when you first walk in but Coach D will walk you through the routine and explain each move.
It's only been 2 weeks but I can already feel my strength building and I'm looking forward to seeing my body continue to get stronger. Highly recommend to both newbies trying out weight training and gymrat veterans.

Long long long overdue for leaving this review! I joined the Bakery back around Nov/Dec initially to get “wedding ready” and never thinking I would fall in love with working out and going to the gym … I didn’t just get in shape for the wedding I gained a confidence in myself and found a community of women and a coach that truly pushes and motivates you and wants to see you improve! Coach D has an energy that is unmatched in a coach and mentor! I’ve never been more motivated and more consistent with the gym until I joined the Bakery and I’ve tried it all; big - overcrowded gyms, home workouts, 1 on 1 coaching and online coaching and nothing compares to what I have gained here at the Bakery. Gyms have always intimidated me and I’m so glad I found the Bakery. Classes are held in small groups; women of all fitness levels attend so there is absolutely no judgement. I enjoy the size of the groups (usually 10-12ish women), this gives the opportunity for Coach D to guide and assist in anyway needed. As a beginner, I am thankful Coach D is patient and takes the extra time to help me correct form or even modify workouts. Coach D definitely keeps you accountable and motivated throughout every session.
There’s no time for distractions as the classes move fast in between sets and really push you to your limits. I love the fact that I’m SWEATING by the end of the classes. I never thought I’d ever attend a HIIT class, but it has since become a favorite of mine- I definitely feel my body changing.
This gym is an investment for your health... if you’re ready for it- DO IT!
I’m so excited I’m becoming a healthier version of me and so very happy I found The Bakery to help me through this journey.

I have always been incredibly unmotivated when it came to working out. We have a home gym and I RARELY went in there because I always felt lost or underwhelmed by my workouts. Woahh. The best place ever. Started at the Bakery a little over a year post partum and it’s been the best decision I could have made. I knew that in order to get into the shape I wanted I needed strength training but felt so uncomfortable in a larger gym and of course needed direction and guidance on form. I’ve been going for a month now and I honestly look forward to the experience each week- which is not something am able to say about previous workouts. It’s a super supportive environment with a very knowledgeable coach who consistently pushes you to do better and gently corrects when it’s needed. Before joining The Bakery I was unmotivated, frustrated, and ready to give up on my fitness journey. But that all changed when I joined this AMAZING gym. I look forward to my workouts everyday now, even after long days of work. The Bakery has become an outlet to relieve my daily stress as I am challenged and pushed by our wonderful coach Daniel. Honestly there are just too many good things to say about this place. From the music,the atmosphere to the coaching, it’s an incredible space to come get stronger and become the best version of yourself. With coach D’s motivation and the women in your class it’s such an uplifting place to workout and see results you’ll be proud. Five stars doesn’t even do the gym and the trainers justice. I never went to the gym and I let myself gain so much weight and I was miserable…i did my research and found this women’s only gym, aside from the boxing trainer and the strength trainer. They’re really motivating, they’re there to help you each your goal for fitness. I have lost some pounds and been toning up a lot more in these past 2 months. I recommend for sure everyone tries the boxing classes and weightlifting sessions. Aside from the amazing trainers the women who come here are all so friendly and willing to help if you’re a beginner. What I love about this place is that all women of shapes and sizes come. I really can’t say enough good things about The Bakery. I wanted to do strength training but I’m too busy (and lazy) to plan workouts, find the right equipment, etc. Then I found this place. Here, Coach plans all the workouts so they are balanced and effective - all I have to do is show up, follow directions, and workout. Also, you can’t be “too out of shape” to start here as he will adjust all the exercises and/or modify them until you are strong enough to push yourself more. Let me just start off by saying that joining this gym has been one of the decisions I’ve made this year. I was looking for an all women’s gym where I could not only feel comfortable working out at but where I could also find a sense of direction and guidance. I’m a beginner at all things gym, but thanks to coach and support from the other women, my knowledge and form has improved immensely. I have never felt uncomfortable or invisible. I like that thorough demonstrations of each workout are given prior to attempting them on my own and that coach is able to correct my form while performing each set. Hands down this is the best place to go to when you need a good workout in a good environment with like-minded people. Coach D really pushes you to limits you did not know you can reach. And he can sense the doubt in yourself and always pushes you to do more. Everytime I would pick up a weight, I would pick up something I thought was my max weight & immediately he’d tell me to go higher on the weight and sure enough, I was able to lift the heavier weight 😆 Not only that but the music is poppin so it guarantees a great workout! Reflecting on the past 9 months, I’ve gained the confidence to lift weights and I’ve found joy in lifting heavy. The Bakery is an all women's gym, and being surrounded by women who challenge themselves and motivate each other through sets, is empowering. I can’t say enough about Coach D, he’s amazing and truly pushes you to reach your health goals. Oh, and the atmosphere is a total vibe!

The Bakery provides a personalized experience in a group setting or private training. I have trained with many coaches in the past , coach D truly cares about you and your fitness journey. He is attentive to form and will give feedback . I really enjoy the workout programming over the course of the week , it makes it easy to notice increased strength over periods of time. I have been coming to The Bakery for almost 2 years and only have positive things to say about Coach D. He really teaches you how to do every exercise and pushes you to be better every session. I've gone to other trainers and they weren't as attentive or teaching. The atmosphere and music selection is great and all of the girls are always so encouraging! You really feel a sense of community at the Bakery. Coach has pushed me and held me accountable since day one and I have never felt/looked better. One word: LOVE! Coach D and the rest of the girls are so welcoming, non judgmental, motivating. Even though I am not a morning person I know the min. I step foot into the bakery my energy and spirit is about to be lifted. Finding a private intimate gym was key for me as I didn’t know what I was doing in a regular gym and coach D shows you the ins and outs. I’ve been working out on my own since the COVID closures but I realized that I was not making any significant progress… I was very hesitant to join any gym for various reasons but after my co worker recommended this all women’s gym I decided to finally break out of my comfort and take a chance. I am happy that I did. Daniel is a professional in every way. His approach to encouraging and correction is respectful and upbeat. I love being able to have a full routine already set up, no wait for equipment and basically private trainer to help at anytime is the best. The equipment is well kept and organized. Highly recommended! I’ve officially been here for 1 year and the community of women is outstanding. Everyone is there striving for results and positively encouraging. I don’t know where to begin. If you are looking for a fitness journey and don’t know where to start, The bakery is the place to invest in. I started my fitness journey in August of 2022 and I have built my strength to a level I never imagine I could get to. Coach Daniel is patient and will work with you at your pace, he will help you get the form right, which is key to building strength. He also does weekly check-ins with you to keep you accountable of your progress. He will also encourage you to go beyond your limits, which is one of the best feelings ever. And the women you get to meet throughout the journey are incredible and will assist you so that you don’t give up. :). And the best part is the playlist! It’s the right amount of energy to get that work out done.

I’ve been going to this gym for a little over 3 months now and it’s been amazing!! I’ve lost 15lbs since I started and I’m down a few pants sizes (from Size 16 to now 10). Coach D is super nice and pushes you to be better and lift heavier. I walked in and was afraid to do a hip thrust with barbell but I’ve recently hit 185lbs PR! Coach D didn’t rush my progress, he encouraged me to try and reminded me I’m strong even when I didn’t believe I was. I walked in the first day feeling defeated and so out of shape, as a mother of 2 small children, I’ve really neglected my health. This was the first time in a long time I committed to taking an hour a few times a week to focus on me. Besides the physical transformation from coming here, my mental health is better and I sleep a lot better.
