Owner is a bully to young woman!!!!! She was the instructor that harassed my daughter and did this teamed up with one of her clients … both came at a young woman with extreme aggression and complete bullying!

We have everything logged and on video. Reposting a new review with what the owner decided to lie about!

Left an honest review and owner completely lied in her response as well as ending it with an insult!

No wonder it’s always empty in here nobody wants to be around the owner who harasses and bully’s young woman!

YOU need to take your own advice maybe you can think more clearly and react properly if you take your own advice!

My nervous system is great my dear absolutely wonderful Thank God!! But thanks for such a kind recommendation.

First lie
YOU DID NOT GO TO NEXT DOOR BUSINESSES she was 2 doors down and they could not hear it 2 doors down inside nor did you go 2 doors down, or you would have easily found her in 2 minutes or under.

My daughters Q8 fully electric Audi., which caught this all on video, as it records when motion comes close just like a Tesla luckily so it caught on camera IT TRACKS EVERYTHING including how long your parked!!

My daughter also made it VERY clear the air was on it’s an electric car it says it alll over it, and they continued to harass her!!

Second Lie!!!!
She was not parked in that spot for 45 minutes, we have the parking logs of her car. so there’s no way the alarm was going off for as long you are claiming which again even if it was going off for hours
IT DOESN’T MATTER does not warrant harassment in any form.

It happens all the time in busy huge parking lots, happens in front of my business all the time there’s a proper way to handle this.

You would think you know how to handle this properly as a business but simply it’s clear they just don’t have any common sense or professionalism, maybe try some mindful meditation with your hot yoga to work on how you react and treat other people.

You can’t harass somebody for there car alarm going off that’s not in peoples control sometimes car alarms go off for hours or overnight again common sense…

If there’s an issue you go in the next door businesses to resolve it YOU DID NOT HUGE LIE
WHICH AGAIN 2 doors down you could have easily found her in minutes if there was an issue and or call the security, or the police.

YOU ARE NOBODY to take matters into your own hands and start harassing people.
The way you guys went at my daughter was absolutely juvenile and harassment. I could not believe how you came at her when I was watching the video.

Your gown woman who supposedly runs a business, maybe you need to do some self reflection with how you decided to react and respond since supposedly your a “business”.

Now as for your “concern” regarding my daughter’s beautifully spoiled dog being in the fully electric air conditioned car which says it all over it!!!

She bought this car for her dog specially!
He absolutely loves the car it’s one of his favorite things so she got a car just for him to have the safest environment and get to enjoy the car.

He gets to go as much as he wants since she has a fully electric car that has dog mode and it’s his favorite thing!

So you were concerned, approached my daughter extremly aggressively and she explained to you the air is on as her car is fully electric, and after her explaining that you guys continued to harass and come at her extremely aggressively as she’s trying to get into her car and leave!!

So much so one of you were at her driver door getting in her face while she was trying to get into her car to leave and stop being harassed by the instructor while the other one was blocking back of my car and taking pictures.

Her car camera recorded the whole thing as it's Motion activated so she was able to show me and could belive how you guys approached her absolutely ridiculous Unprofessional
AND unacceptable.

You need education on what to do when a car alarm goes off in-front of a bunch of businesses instead of harassing innocent people and there dogs.

I did a 6am Vinyasa and the practice was great! Studio was clean, flow was accessible but challenging and the cool towel was a special treat during savasana. Will be back.

This just might be my favorite studio in the area! Kind instructors who give excellent feedback and tips, and the space itself is super clean and welcoming with great energy. It is SUPER hot, the locker room and showers are great, and the cold wet towel at the end of class is such a nice touch. I took Bikram with Sasha and Vinyasa with Brooke -- both were awesome classes. Plenty of free parking too and the locker rooms and showers are nice. One of my favorite spots for sure — if you’re thinking about booking here, just do it!

This is the BEST hot yoga studio I've been to in ages! The instructors were exceptional and the room hotter and more humid than I've been to in a long time. Also, the studio was very clean and everyone very welcoming. Thank you for a great experience! Beth

I've been practicing yoga with [Instructor's Name] for over two years, and I can confidently say she's the best yoga instructor I've ever had. Her new studio is a beautiful, welcoming space, and her teaching has transformed my practice. Her flow, her voice, and her presence are simply amazing. I'm so happy to continue my yoga journey with her and can't recommend her highly enough.

What an amazing hot yoga studio! I decided to give it a try since I heard there was new ownership, and they weren’t going to be going quite so deathly hot!
I was not disappointed, my hot vinyasa was definitely steamy but in the good way that gives me greater flexibility and allows me access to more postures as I heat up. Giving me all the benefits of a heated class without being so hot I can’t do the entire flow.

The space was beautiful, great flooring, mirrors to check in on alignment and hands on assists to those who wanted it. I can’t wait to get back there again for another flow!

First of all I want to say that I loved everything about the Hot Room experience. I have been practicing for 13 plus years and I’ve been to a lot of studios over the years, so I can be a little picky. I took the new owners class, and she has a real mastery of sequencing and cueing in such a way to get you deeply into the pose. Her playlist was amazing and the vibe was perfect. I was a little hesitant about the heat at first, but it was just right and I got a really awesome purge! For me it wasn’t too hot, it was just right. I went back to a second class there a few days later and again I had an amazing experience, so I will definitely be figuring out a membership. The other women there were friendly and again the vibe is great! I highly recommend The Hot Room in Encinitas!

In town visiting and was glad that I found The Hot Room. It can be hard to find a hot yoga place that is actually hot! I really enjoyed the Bikram 75 class I took. The facility is very clean and the instruction was great. Would definitely return the next time I’m back in town.

Great studio with a calm environment and a true hot room for practicing. The classes and schedule are consistent, offering a variety of different teachers. I prefer the Fusion/Vinyasa classes, as they offer you a space to modify any of the poses to your comfort and liking.

Huge shoutout to Hilary and Hannah! They not only guide you through yoga but also impart teachings that resonate in all aspects of life, helping you connect with yourself and your sense of spirituality alongside the practice.

As someone with a marathoning “habit” who fancies themselves athletic, I absolutely attribute my improved health, athleticism, and ability to run marathons (over the age of 40) to the yoga classes and instructors at The Hot Room Encinitas. The studio owner, Rebekah, has designed an intentional space with clean aesthetics - and maintains a fastidiously clean studio so students can comfortably practice in an appropriately and consistently hot room. Additionally, all of the instructors are fabulous, challenging, equally encouraging, and refreshingly genuine - the Bikram classes adhere to the tradition without all the yogi pomp one can get at other studios.

I also appreciate the diversity of the classes. I believe the reservation system ensures that the studio is appropriately spaced for comfort for all students (definitely needed considering the heat and likely sweat) while being accessible for all. Moreover, I have been impressed by overt physical and personal wellness gains in my classmates and regular attendees. There is a natural, supportive camaraderie that exists with many students (I have never experienced this at other studios).

In the era of Peloton and streaming fitness classes, I can vehemently attest that one cannot replicate the physical experience (studio space and heat!), relationships, and personal growth as I have had practicing yoga at The Hot Room Encinitas. I can’t say enough positive things about Rebekah and the instructors, and I most strongly encourage everyone to try a class! My personal favorites are Amy’s Bikram 75, Rebekah’s Bikram 60, Amanda’s Fusion, and Hilary’s Vinyasa (though every instructor is great and challenging).

The Hot Room has fabulous instructors who really take you to the next level of yoga. Great instruction, with an emphasis on perfecting poses as well as being mindful of your individuals needs. The Hot Room is exactly that...HOT! I have been going there for almost 2 years and feel incredible!! I have also met so many great people. Recently, I had to have some unexpected surgery and I could not work-out for 8 weeks. The owner Rebekah called or texted me almost every week to check on me and was very encouraging as I recovered. When I got back to The Hot Room it was like being back home again!! Thank you Rebekah for everything!! Great place to practice yoga!!

The Hot Room is the best BEST Hot Yoga studio I've ever been to.
Under the leadership of owner Rebekah Cunningham, the staff at The Hot Room embodies passion, mastery, and a deep knowledge of Bikram, Vinyasa, and Hot Fusion.
The vibe of The Hot Room community is nurturing, challenging and positive. You'll will be inspired to try things you never thought possible.
I love the fact that advanced yogis and beginners practice side by side and there's no judgment or competition, everyone checks their egos at the door.
The Hot Room is the place I go to strengthen my body, become more flexible, clear my mind, and sweat my heart out with an amazing group of people.

I was lucky enough to find the hot room over a year ago and the heat does not disappoint. The heat is consistent and the best in San Diego, which means something as I have tried most hot studios in town. Beyond that though, the studio and the people that practice here are very welcoming to everyone. This is a great studio for beginners and a humbling yoga studio for those that have been practicing for a while.

There are handful of hot yoga studios in the world that operate at the level of mastery. The Hot Room Encinitas has earned that title.

Many of us do hot yoga to cleanse, get in shape, clear the mind, and feel superhuman, among many other things. This in mind: what makes a hot yoga studio stand out?

1) Heat. It’s gotta be hot, and even more important, at a consistent temperate. I want to be sure that if I have a class where I feel too hot, it wasn’t because the room temperate changed that day, but rather my hydration levels were off, for example. The owner is very particular about this. Expect a consistently hot room.

2) Consistent Cadence. If I’m taking a fixed-series class, I want the timing to be the same for each class, so I can gauge my growth. The timing of the teachers here is excellent.

3) Motivation. There are many ways to motivate people. Among the best ways, is group motivation. The teachers at The Hot Room fully understand the power of group dynamics, and do what they can to keep you in rhythm with the class...and they are keen. If you are truly tired, and are feeling slow, they don’t even bat an eye and they let you be...but if you are distracted, or fidgeting, for example, they will surely let you know to bring you back.

4) Clean. The place is spotless. Cleaned between classes, and just meticulous in general.

5) Knowledgeable Teachers. They know the body, and they know the yoga. Ask them questions. They will likely you give you a holistic response.

6) Challenging. This is by no means “easy” yoga. It is incredibly challenging, yet, suitable for all levels. Whether you are brand new to yoga, or have been practicing for decades...expect a challenge. If you want easy yoga, go somewhere else

7) Sense of Community. People are friendly there, and get to know each other. It’s nice to know a little about the people you are practicing with.

One more thing that is specific and unique to this studio: the fusion class. It is phenomenal. Similar to Bikram, it is a fixed series (so you can track your progress), and is a mix between vinyasa and hatha. Be prepared to really work, yet feel extremely energized after. Truly a gem in the yoga world, and the only place that offers it is here.

A+ studio. Can’t wait to come back

I’ve been practicing yoga at The Hot Room since they opened and I have to say, the experience has been beyond my expectations. Rebekah has created a clean, beautiful space for us to come together as a community and practice what we love most - hot yoga. I’ve been teaching yoga for over 10 years and the instruction is fantastic in all classes, from Vinyasa to Bikram. I absolutely love Rebekah’s Bikram. She has such incredible attention to detail and really brings a respect to the practice that everyone appreciates. When times are stressful, I know The Hot Room is my place to de-stress, and reconnect with myself. And it doesn’t hurt to have friends around me. Thank goodness we have this place to practice.

I am a beginner, working toward a daily practice. I appreciate the variety of Vinyasa, Fusion, Bikram, and Bikram Music classes and find all of the classes to be very challenging. What makes The Hot Room Encinitas stand out are the people -- you sense that everyone is there to support each other and create positive energy together. The studio is impeccably clean, and the room is very HOT! (the humidity and the airflow in the room are added bonuses) I find every class very challenging but love going into the room trusting the instructors will guide me in my practice, keep me safe, and help me progress as a student.

Grateful that I got to know the energy of this studio before spending any more time there. Yoga has been an instrumental part of my life for 10 years. It has gotten me through my lows and lifted me during the highs of life. Just like everyone else in the world, my body is unique. Prior to starting any class, I always take the time to introduce myself and chat with my yoga instructor so that they have an understanding of my limits. Today I was reminded that not everyone deserves to know your story, it is not meant to be shared to everyone, and that is okay. I was taken back by how quickly I felt that this was not a place where I belonged and certainly not something I want to be part of.

I am a fan of Yoga Tropics, but decided to try a class out as it is close to where I live. I found the transitions between floor poses irritating. I don't want to do belly rolls. However, if I tried to opt out of something and replaced it with an Asthanga pose, the instructor stopped the class-there were four of us-until I did the darn pose. Without saying anymore, I felt like I didn't achieve the same level of practice as I usually do at Yoga Tropics.
