At Trim Fitness Studio we believe in the science of The Lagree Fitness Method. We have seen thousands of our members achieve results that have helped to strengthen not only the body, but also the mind. Our focus is to teach the Lagree Fitness Method the way it was designed to be taught by Sebastien Lagree. Our instructors consistently teach an intense, effective and safe workout on the Megaformer. The Lagree Fitness Method is taught on an exclusive technology developed by fitness visionary, Sebastien Lagree.

I have tried it all and this gym is my favorite. I take Lagree 5-6 days a week and try to sprinkle in climb. The transformation in just 10 weeks has been incredible. All of the instructors are so kind. I literally had no idea what I was doing my first class but Pia walked me through and now I’m hooked!!

Parking is a nightmare, plain and simple. I arrived to the lot 20 minutes early and still ended up late because of how difficult it is to find a spot. I tried calling the studio to let them know, as their website instructs, but no one picked up. When I finally got there, they said it was fine, which left me wondering why that instruction is even on the website if they won’t answer calls.

The front desk staff was okay; I dont think a front desk staff is needed since phone calls aren't answered. The instructor was alright, but nothing stood out about the class. The biggest disappointment was the equipment. The machines were outdated compared to the many newer Lagree studios opening up, and the one I was on even had a loose spring, which didn’t feel safe, but the instructor said it was fine so I guess.

This studio may be considered an OG in the Lagree space, and I know a lot of people love it, but based on my experience, it feels overrated. Between the parking stress, lackluster class, and aging equipment, it just didn’t feel worth my time and money.

This place is truly life changing! I began taking classes here over the summer, and have never looked back! I really enjoy the Lagree method as it's slow, intentional, enables a great mind body connection, and allows space for injuries to heal. Don't let that fool you though, you'll leave the class sweaty and crawling down the stairs every time! Each class has such a great flow, and the instructors really make an effort to ensure you're doing proper form and are getting the most out of your time there. Can't recommend this place enough!

Knowledge of your anatomy and a Pilates reformer is a plus, but not required. You'll be feeling all those tiny muscles that you didn't know you even had! Don't be intimidated! They will teach you what you need to know.
Warning: Parking can be a bit of a BEAR! And don't be afraid to try and get into on the waitlists if the classes are full.

The 45 minutes lagree class consists of a full body workout 2/3 times a week allows me to feel strong, healthy and confident . This 30 minute climb class is so enjoyable! I finally found a class that I love to come to every day. This is the best way to lose weight and gain muscle all in 30 minutes. All the instructors are helpful and knowledgeable and guide you through what you need to do. You leave feeling invigorated!!

I’ve been going to Trim Fitness Costa Mesa & Lake Forest locations for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s been a game changer for me. My friend had introduced me to Trim, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Each class challenges me both physically and mentally in a way that felt more engaging and sustainable.

What I love most about Trim Fitness is the variety and intensity of the workouts. The Lagree method, with its slow, controlled movements and focus on muscle activation, has transformed my body. It’s not just about working up a sweat, but about truly strengthening and toning muscles in a way I hadn’t experienced before. The classes are always tough, but the results speak for themselves. I’ve noticed my core strength and overall tone improving significantly since I started attending regularly.

The Climb classes are equally amazing — These classes are dynamic, fun, and always push me to my limits. It’s a great complement to the Lagree workouts, and it helps build endurance and cardiovascular fitness, all while keeping the energy high and the mood positive with the music and colorful lights going throughout the room. Its always a good time!

One of the best parts about Trim Fitness, though, is the instructors. I’ve found certain instructors who are incredibly welcoming and motivating, and they make all the difference. Their encouragement is always positive and uplifting, pushing me to give my best effort without feeling overwhelmed. Those instructors have created an environment where I feel supported, not judged.

Now, I look forward to every class, and the consistency is paying off. My body is stronger, more toned, and I feel more energized overall. Whether it’s the Lagree method or Climb classes, it’s a workout style I’ll stick with long-term.

Trim was the first studio that I attended that felt like it had everything I wanted. I had been to at least 10 studios in multiple states and countries while traveling by that point.
Trim has the best, most engaged and knowledgeable instructors.

I've been coming to Trim for years now and it's by far my favorite workout I've ever done! It's challenging both physically and mentally. Every instructor is amazing and pushes you in the best way possible. I usually take a few classes a week with Reema and Amanda, and it helped me get wedding ready! The instructors ensure correct form and explain the value of each move and why the Lagree method truly works. Trim has provided me with a workout I genuinely love and it's why I keep coming back! The machines and instructors are truly the best out there. Even with coming consistently, I always feel pushed and leave feeling amazing. Cannot recommend this studio enough!

I've been to the costa mesa and lake forest location. I've taken about 8 classes over a couple years. The instructors are consistent in their instruction skills. The studio is nice and clean. If you're reading this and feel intimidated by lagree reformer studios- Please do not fear! The staff has been nothing but welcoming and wonderful. This is not a snobby studio!

I tried a climb class. It's not something I'm likely to do again but I'm glad i tried it!
If you love spin class you'd probably like climb- they are very similar in that they are rhythm based.

My only gripes are that I think the reformers feel kind of greasy even after wipe down. I thought they were kind of slippery, but maybe it's just me!
Sometimes I wish I could get more instruction and adjustments on the positions.

This is a review of the climb classes. I really enjoy the classes - find them fun and a great workout with great instructors. However, the volume level is dangerously loud - as my watch advises me every time I go, I have surpassed my weekly exposure levels within minutes to not sustain ear damage. I love loud music and have been an underground house music fan for years - and never do my ears hurt at a show the way they do at climb. I’m now pregnant and expert medical opinion is to not be at levels this loud in pregnancy (I am an OBGYN - would tell my pts to avoid).

When I told the studio and asked that they lower the music just a hair for safety or to offer a class with lower volume, they first advised ear plugs, then just extended my time of membership so that I could finish up my commitment after pregnancy. There was no consideration of the request.

I advise anyone who doesn’t want to wear earplugs to avoid going for the sake of their hearing, and certainly that no one pregnant go at all.

The instructors, facilities, and energy here are all amazing!

In the lagree classes, the instructors do a great job in walking around during class to adjust your form as needed so you feel the burn in the right spots. As a newbie to lagree, I really appreciate this!

The climb classes are so fun!! The instructors somehow make me look forward to doing cardio. Because the moves are pretty straight forward, it makes it so easy to just jump on and get into a groove. I love doing these classes with my partner and friends :)

I’ve always hated cardio but Climb really is the best workout, it being 30 mins and low impact, high energy with the music and amazing instructors. Lagree is that resistance strength training that will give you full body strength and tone your muscles. It’s awesome that these 2 workouts are in the same place! Great first class promo with great intros and a welcoming staff. Felt stoked with first class experience, start to finish. I’m less than a month in and I’ve had a positive experience. I have been going to this location and the Lake Forest since August 2023. Primarily been going to lagree classes. The instructors that I've taken classes from so far (Bibi, Natalie, Christin) are super friendly, supportive and energetic. Studio itself is well maintained and very clean.

Lagree classes are intense, but rewarding! I have seen improvements to my overall health once I took these classes regularly. I ALWAYS end class sweating like crazy. Highly recommend!

TRIM IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF LAGREE STUDIOS IN OC. I’ve been practicing Lagree for 6 years now and started out at some of the other local spots in the area. I quickly found myself getting bored of some of the instructors at other studios when I learned of Trim through a coworker. I went to my first class and was immediately hooked and haven’t looked back - I even obtained my Lagree Instructor Certification through their on-site training. Trim’s Costa Mesa location is a vibe. The owners genuinely care about who they employ as representatives of their business and it shows with their elite instructors. The playlists are always new and exciting, the studio is spotless, and the camaraderie amongst clients is unmatched. I love my Trim Tribe and would recommend it to anyone interested in trying out Lagree.

I first started going to Trim in February 2023. I had never done Pilates nor Lagree before so started with their beginner classes for the first month and ramped up frequency of the normal classes to 4x per week a few months later. I've taken classes at both the Brea and Costa Mesa locations and LOVE each instructor. Classes are extremely motivating in pushing you to challenge your body and mind at your own level. Each instructor is very knowledgeable and always ensuring form is correct during each move. Really enjoy this workout and the atmosphere Trim provides! I've never felt stronger!

I’ve never been able to stay committed until i found Lagree and specifically Trim. This studio has an amazingly motivating and welcoming environment for all levels and all genders. It’s a supportive place from the front desk, instructors, and even other Trim goers! Scheduling is great for a variety of lifestyles, as early as 5:30am and as late as 7:30pm depending on the day. Even showers/soap/towels are available for those who need to quickly go about their day. Love this place!

Been going to Trim for close to a year now and honestly all I can say is it has been life changing! Besides tennis, there hasn't been anything that I have consistently stuck to besides Lagree and Climb. You really do get stronger and feel amazing!!!

Everyone who works there is really great from all of the instructors to the reception staff. I recommend taking a class from all the instructors first to see how you feel about each one of their styles cause everyone is different. My personal favorites instructors would have to be Jess, Amanda, Paige, Christin, and Sarah! They are exceptional teachers and really great at keeping you motivated!

I just finished my 26th workouts here and all I can say is "WOW". There are so many outstanding instructors here that it is unbelievable. This is the best Pilate/Lagree in OC-and NO other studio come close to this place.

The Lagree workout here are super effective and I love the Lagree workout. It requires lots of coordination, it is highly structured and it is absolutely the killer core workout-better than any other work out that you can imagine. While I consider myself gym junkie and I enjoy working out in different places to change my routines, I really enjoyed the Lagree workout as I found it very challenging every time that I checked into the class. While Lagree is not the same as Pilate but one can consider these two as somewhat close type of exercises and what really makes Trim Fitness stands a part is the quality of the instructors. So a big shout out and thanks to all the magnificent Lagree instructors here: Natalie, Amanda, Courtney, Chelsie, Jennifer and Kelly. Every Lagree Trim instructor is top notch and I have never been to any studio that offer so much quality instruction but my two favorites are Natalie and Courtney.

I have not really took too many VersaClimber classes and Versa instructors are outstanding.

The ownership really deserve a "10" star for what they have created here and Mike is amazing on how he treat customer.

There is nothing negative about this place-absolutely NOTHING.

If you’re looking for a great workout cardio or strength training you’ve come to the right place! I’ve been coming here off and on for a couple years and the classes never disappoint! The studio is very nice, clean and professional. Any complaints or problems I’ve had they were addressed/fixed without a problem. All of the instructors are great but my fav is Kelli Grit in the climb class her energy is unmatched! But they are all truly great. Go at your own pace and if anything hurts let them know so they can help-your form might be off. My only complaint would be the clothing they have there for sale are not for curvy girls which is disappointing bc the bras and leggings are always cute! Dear trim tribe us DDD’s need cute bras/shirts too lol

As a personal trainer, I never had a problem getting in my own workout until a couple years ago... Trim came into my life at a time where I was trying to find my passion for working out, after getting bored and going thru the motions for some time.
Over the past couple of years at Trim, between a combination of Lagree and Climb classes, I have been able to maintain my physique without lifting weights and met some amazing people in their community. I’ve been coming here for years.
I love the physical & mental challenge that Lagree offers. Trim is clean & have friendly staff.
Even being somewhat of a veteran this workout will never be easy.
I live for my advanced classes with Jennifer on Sundays. They’re a can’t miss , in my book.
It’s definitely a love hate love thing.
Amanda & Maddy are great instructors too.
Highly recommend this studio & this workout.
45 minutes of slow moving that will work your whole body , have you shaking & drenched in sweat.

I love TRIM! I started off with doing the versaclimb classes almost everyday (and sprinkled in a few lagree classes as well) for 2 months straight. It was the first time I ever experienced a runner’s high and felt like I was in one of the best shapes of my life! My favorite instructor was Kelli; she not only had the best music but also was super inspirational and motivational! These classes made working out fun again and I would recommend them to all my friends!

The customer service here is not the best. I came into the studio 3min before class begins and there was one climb machine left but the girl was still unwilling to let me in class because she said I was a new client and I needed to arrive at least 10 min before
She then mentioned I would only have the option of waiting 45 minutes until the next class was over for her to go over everything with me or reschedule after I had driven quite some ways to be at the class. I even mentioned I'm familiar with a climb machine. It's unfortunate that they couldn't work with me since class had not begun they rather make me wait almost an hr for the next class to begin . Not the best customer service if you ask me.

Bummed about my experience. Just moved to the area and was excited to try Trim. Due to traffic my 12 min drive turned into 35 mins and I was 3 mins late for the class. I checked in on the iPad as there was no one at the front desk and started walking into class. The instructor came up to me and asked if I checked in, I said yes, asked me for my name, and then sent me back to the front desk. I waited 10 mins in the front and nobody was there so I ended up leaving. (Weird no one was at the front desk considering everyone’s personal belongings is just sitting out there).

I know I’m at fault for arriving late but I think this could’ve been handled better. Will not be returning.

I've tried many studios all over the Costa Mesa, Newport area since the closing of my fitness studio. This has been the studio that has consistently made me sore with every workout. I've even tried the XXX and Megaformer combo class and got a workout that really exhausted me! This is a great workout for those who need to switch things up; I've been doing HIIT training for the last 2 years and LOVED it, but this really helped me use different muscles. The studio is clean and I really like that you use the same platform the entire workout.

Absolutely love Trim Fitness Studio! I have been gym hopping and trying different workouts in different gyms and I haven't done a workout that I haven't enjoyed (oh well, except three work outs in two different studios).

What I like about the Trim that the classes are small at Trim and the quality of instructions are VERY high. So far, I have taken three Versa Climber (Ruth & Lindsay) and both have kicked my *** and Versa Climber is a real solid cardio work out that also work out your lats muscle and leg muscle for 30 minutes. The calorie burn on Versa is off the chart; 23-26 calorie/minute whereas the cycle spin is about 12-15 calorie/minute.

I was skeptic on taking the Lagree which kind of look like pilate. However I think that almost everyone knows that Lagree is different than Pilate even though that it kind of look the same. For those who don't know, Lagree is a very effective workout and the Lagree machine is different than Pilate machine.

After taking my first Lagree, I found out that Lagree is indeed a hard workout because it requires coordination and balance and one has to be really careful during the work out. My Lagree instructor at Trim, Amanda Alper made the class really useful for me. Amanda was constantly monitoring me and for someone like me who can't chew gum and walk, Amanda helped me through the coordination of this workout during the entire class.

All I can say is that I have found out Lagree is a very tiring workout and my calorie burn is always close to 450 calorie for 45 minus.

I’ve been to the versa climber triple X class three times and it never disappoints. One of the best high intensity work out you could possibly do in and out in 30 minutes. Today I was taught by Ruth and her energy level was absolutely the best. All around fun and motivational. Love this class.
