I used to come here regularly — classes were fine, though the studio was never exactly clean. But what really changed my mind was how they treat clients. I was 9 minutes late once, and they refused to let me in. I completely understand having a policy, but (as what he called himself) owner came (older white man in glasses), told me they “don’t need clients who are 10 minutes late” and that they “don’t need ClassPass clients” either. That level of arrogance and disrespect says everything. It’s unfortunate — instead of building community, they make you feel unwelcome. It’s not just unprofessional, it’s disrespectful. Plenty of studios in OC manage to be strict and kind — this one chooses arrogance instead.

It was my first time coming here with my girlfriend, we scheduled ahead to be part of a Pilate class using our ClassPass Credits. When we walked in- we were greeted by the Pilate instructor (who was formal and respectful) then another random instructor (he was white, had semi- white hair, looked old, and glasses) came to the front and immediately told me that I can’t park in the handicap. My girlfriend and I looked at each other confused because I am handicapped, I’m allow to park in the handicap spot with my placard being visible & up-to-date. He told us that other people with disabilities need it for the chiropractor next door (also no one parked at the handicap spot all throughout our session). Another thing he said is that was the only handicap parking spot which he was wrong for that, it just seemed like he kept making up more lies to save himself. He made me switch parking spots further away from the place and we haven’t even signed in which our class was going to start in 10 minutes. The whole interaction with the other instructor made me very upset and confused- it honestly felt I was being discriminated against. I don’t think he is the owner of that property nor works at the chiropractor next door to be telling me where to park just because I don’t look what he expected as handicap person?- Shame.
…Other than that, the room where we did Pilates was welcoming and cozy. Our instructor was very kind and helpful- prior, she asked me about my health conditions and helped me throughout session. Also, I didn’t realized she heard the interaction and she even apologized about it!

An instructor marked me as missing a class on ClassPass even though I was present. I called and an employee was very kind and fixed it on her end. I’ve been attending this studio for a year and typically the instructors mark everyone as present on ClassPass before you check in, so it was habit of me not to sign in. I was told it would take 24 hours to reflect but I noticed ClassPass charged me $17. I called this studio back to ask for help and a man answered. He told me it’s my fault this happened, and that what I have to say or think isn’t important, constantly cutting me off. And he told me “Don’t come back to this studio.” He also said he has no communication with ClassPass at all. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

LOVE TZone! The circuit training + Pilates classes have been amazing. There are so many classes to choose from with small groups so you get hands-on training and corrections. The staff is so nice and the environment is super welcoming. I would definitely recommend!

I just switched to T Zone from Club Pilates and I absolutely love this place. Especially that it offers so much more than just Pilates. The circuit class is wonderful and they even have Pilates that focus on all lower, or all upper body- just great scheduling and availability. Staff is so friendly.

I’ve been coming here almost 2 years and on track to hit 250 classes soon. I love the instructors and wide variety of times & class types. The reformer class size is just 12 which is perfect. Newbies must start at level 1 to not hurt pace of level 2 classes, don’t forget your clean grippy socks and can’t be more than a 10 min late per the booking rules. All ages and genders attend classes which is really cool. Shout out to Sonali and Kaitlyn who are 5 star amazing teachers plus newer instructors like Lauren and Rhianna who are fire. They will kick your butt every week and I’m often sore & get the shakes. I go about 4 days a week and I love it more than yoga because each class is mentally and physically so different. I feel taller and more snatched at 50! The unlimited membership is a great value for me. Thanks Sean for the behind the scenes stuff.

Tzone is a great place to get a Pilates work out in! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Pilates is such a great work out and tones lean muscles. I would highly recommend Tzone if you live in Costa Mesa or Newport Beach

Escape Fitness and Pilates is a true gem and I’m so happy to have found this place! The instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Even on my first visit I didn’t feel intimidated. The place is always clean whenever I come in and all around a great environment to work out in. I feel great every time I leave here and I’m excited to keep up with the classes and see what kind of results I’ll get!

It’s my new favorite gym! Decided to check this place out because I wasn’t feeling the vibe of the larger gyms with crowds of people and hardly any trainers to help.
Sean was actually more helpful than the trainers at Crunch! He was polite and very welcoming when I walked in. I informed him I was trying to improve my workouts and he offered his help and actually corrected my stance and improved my overall form. Very thankful for this place and will continue to workout here!
