We were looking for a dance academy for my daughter and this was a perfect fit. We were tired of places that were way too intense or having the young girls dress in tiny outfits and dancing in ways that didn’t make sense for children.

Uplifting Dance Academy is exactly what the name states, uplifting ! The teachers are caring, patient with the kids and parents and are able to push the kids to grow without crushing them and losing the fun.

Not only that they put consideration into everything that went into the performance from the way they dressed, to props and choreography. They have a lot of different classes to choose from as well and I have noticed and equal level of talent from each teacher.

I don’t write a ton of reviews but this place and these people are worth the time. I would definitely recommend this for you and your kid if you want some place that is professional, age appropriate, caring and rooted in faith.

I can't say enough good things about Uplifting Arts Academy! From the moment we joined, it was clear that this studio is about so much more than just teaching dance. The instructors are not only incredibly talented, but they also truly care about each student, nurturing their confidence, skill, and faith. Ms. Shaquan, the director of the studio, has been my daughters' teacher for almost 10 years and I have no complaints. She is an excellent teacher and an excellent human being. Miss Crystal is one of the other teachers and my daughters also love her. Uplifting Arts Academy exceeds its name in so many areas! My 3 granddaughters have been students at the academy for several years, and over the course of those years, I have had the blessed privilege to attend both winter and summer recitals. It is immediately evident that the director, Ms. Shaquan and her staff not only have an incredible passion for dance but also have a devoted dedication to each of their students as they foster and nurture their individuality and their talents. My daughter has been attending Uplifting Arts Academy (UAA) for the past 5 years. Uplifting Arts Academy is by far one of the best dance studios I could enrolled my daughters into. Not only are they learning different routines each season, but have also learned discipline within their craft. Most importantly though, is the foundation found in Christ. Every time I attend an Uplifting Arts Academy recital… I cry. I noticed not only I was crying, but all of my friends and family I invited were crying tears of joy. The performances are so beautiful, the costumes are quality and the message for every dance come through with vivid energy and emotion. These dancers put their hearts and souls into performances.

If I had a daughter, 3 - 17 years old in the Fontana area, I would enroll her into Uplifting Arts Academy! Not only do they teach all types of dance on a high level, but also grace, poise, respect and responsibility. These families are “blessed” to have their children in this academy. If I could give this company 10 stars, I would! Such an uplifting, encouraging, and inspirational example the instructors of the company are to the young ladies of Uplifting Arts Academy. The golden heart of the director is unmatched, and she cares about the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the recitals i have had the privilege to attend, and you can feel the positive energy from all of the dancers and instructors, and those in attendance as well. The company has grown tremendously with young ladies but the full attentiveness of each instructor to each child has not changed; each child is loved individually and collectively. The Uplifting Arts Academy is a wonderful experience for any young aspiring little dancer! The teaching staff is very accomplished themselves in all the styles of dance and gymnastics and it is all based on a Christian perspective down to the music that is chosen for the dance routines. The children love their classes and their practices! It shows in their performances and the smiles on their faces! The kids just improve with every dance that they learn to do!

My two granddaughters look forward to every practice and have become so flexible!!! They love to perform at their recitals and for their families!
