Thank you Matt for a great 1 hour treadmill workout this morning. Because at 6AM, in Whitter, there was nothing to do, Except work and workouts. I got a chance to do both!
You didn't have to do it. You could have gotten the $18 (easy, it's a nice gym) and no word. But Little did you know you were showing kindness to A business owner who respects professionalism. You make a difference, at least for me you did.
Keep up the good job and I leave you something that will last longer than that $18, this post and a life time referral in me.... All my clients will know about your gym.

Their equipment is great before they change managers it was affordable but with the new owner it has gotten a little expensive waiting for price to go down other than that it is a good place to work out with old school equipment and with the new equipment. just bring the price down thank you.

The new Uptown Gym is a great environment for those who are first starting off on their fitness journey. However, for the more advanced lifter's and bodybuilders would find it to be a bit small and lacking weight and equipment.

Went to sign up again after taking a break, A new manager was onsite he proceeded to tell me I never had an account there prior. I told him to look up my card Richard the owner had always kept it on file even after a year break he still had it. The manager told me I was lying I never had one and also told me I never paid a lower price prior. After that the manager if you call really can him that told me that this gym is not my gym and go some where else! He stated this at least six or seven times I don't know what his problem is ,but when a returning member comes back to sign up you would think a manager would be happy and welcoming to a returning account.
I would not recommend this gym to anyone with this new manager and atmosphere he trying to create. He also told me to look around and said again this is not your gym. Saying this I am White and the gym had only Hispanic member in it this morning. This was a horrible experience to be pumped up to get back in there and then be treated with racism and plain disrespect. I am a vet. I have been over seas 4 years to defend my country so people like this can live free in a great country only to taint it with their ignorance.
Please stop and consider if this is a place you really want to represent, changes need to be made starting with new management!

No frills, to the point, friendly staff, how big you get is in direct correlation to how heavy you train; they have all the right tools to get you there, from 2 1/2lbs to 100lbs plates. everything else is decided by you.
