I moved to Carlsbad from the east coast within the past year, and I spent months trying out various yoga studios to find the best fit. YogaSix Carlsbad at the Forum was by far my favorite, and I signed up for an unlimited membership so that I could come all the time! They have such a great variety of classes- both heated and non-heated, Bootcamp and sculpt classes incorporating weights and cardio with yoga, as well as vinyasa, hot, power, restore, and slow flow. I really enjoy the mix of classes and all the options depending on your mood and the day. I love their classes so much that I recently signed up to do their Sculpt instructor training.

The YogaSix instructors are all incredible- extremely knowledgeable, friendly, creative, welcoming. It is such a wonderful community. The manager Whitney and Program Director Cat are terrific, and are so good at what they do.

I can’t say enough positive things about this studio! If you haven’t tried a class there, I highly recommend.

I have been going to YogaSix in Carlsbad for the past four years, ever since I moved to this area. I love the Vinyasa classes. The studio is clean, the instructors are great, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. As a yoga practitioner and also a certified yoga instructor, YogaSix Carlsbad has everything I look for in a yoga studio!

I love this studio! I have been doing yoga on and off for many years, but have very much disliked group classes and instructors and therefore often just do it at home alone. However, this studio won me over on my first class! The music playlists are spot on, the teachers are very skilled but not arrogant, the class is a mixture of all ages and skill levels, and the room temperature (in hot yoga) is perfect for an intense and sweaty experience! Going to class has quickly become my favorite part of the day! I’m so excited and happy to have found YogaSix!!

I love just about everything about this place, from the floor on up! (The floors have just the right amount of give to them, feels amazing to someone who’s mostly done yoga on unforgiving hardwood). Similarly, I am spoiled by the heated yoga experience and don’t ever want to go back to a chilly room. Instructors are great, location is extremely convenient, classmates are welcoming and courteous. I book classes through the app and it’s convenient and feels like shopping… only healthier. Very happy with my unlimited membership. Considering how much I use it, it’s a great value!

About 6 to 8 months ago I have really enjoyed and appreciated the teacher whose class I attend regularly. She welcomes me every time. She is knowledgeable and creative and I love the way she integrates the philosophical aspects of yoga within the practice.

I have also had good experiences overall with the other teachers.

I go to YogaSix almost everyday for over two years now and I cannot imagine my life without it. The staff is wekcoming and the crown is chill and supportive. I love the Sclupt class, next day I catch a Slow Flow to recover, then Hot yoga, then do it all over again. There's enough class variety offered and every teacher has a unique style. LOVE IT!

I had attended yoga class here regularly for several months and had always felt comfortable and safe until my wallet was stolen. The front doors are locked once class starts and we are instructed to leave our personal items in the cubbies by the front door or the women’s locker room lockers.
After class I went to get my wallet and it was gone. I notified the instructor who was unable to help, so he called the owner. The owner instructed me to call the sheriff and file a report and informed me that their cameras didn’t work. This had to of happened after the doors were locked and with the class being session, makes me believe it could have been an inside job. I felt helpless and violated in the yoga community that I’ve loved for 16 years. I felt as if the studio didn’t provide adequate security or piece of mind to their customers.
Be vigilant and aware of your surroundings.

I would give this establishment 0 stars if I could. Hiring someone like Arianna Rasooli should be of utmost disrespect. Does she feel entitled to treat hispanic good vendors like trash? She must not know what it is to work hard. The poor man is just trying to make a living and feed his family and she goes and completely disregards his hard work. I love this place! I finally found a studio that is welcoming and makes me feel happy and excited to work out. Everyone is so wonderful and supportive and they make me feel safe and secure. I’m getting fit and just gaining so much more confidence and positive momentum. I have been to several classes here and I really enjoy the environment. Staff, Management, teachers and other practitioners are all friendly and informative. It feels like true, genuine yoga. I really love the classes I have taken here; Hot, Power, Bootcamp, Sculpt, Slow Flow and Restore. All the teachers have been amazing and I’m truly grateful! Thank you!!!! :)

Great location. Great instructors, esp loved Malin's outdoor turf Sculpt class. Can't wait to take her in-studio Sculpt class. I left my sunglasses after a post-class yoga daze and Tori was very communitive about locating them. Got em back.

If you are one minute late to class! They don’t let you take class.
Manager said no cancellation fees when I signed up.
That was false!
Luckily they still waved my cancellation fee!
I was late for my first class at the hidden forum studio!
The studio is literally hidden!
The front desk person was extremely rude about me being 1/2 minutes late! On a day it hailed in Southern California?
She Acted like she was doing me a favor for not charging me for not showing up on time?
Then had audacity to tell management I showed up more like 7/10 minutes late!
Which makes me look bad when I emailed management asking what there policies are?
This place is the farthest thing from a yoga studio.
There is no room for growth.
They teach the same class every single day!
So if you like simple, plain , same and no growth!
This is the studio for you!
two stars, because it would be a good studio for someone who is a beginner and never wants to advance there practice!

I wish I could like Yoga Six. Its close to my house and its a nice enough studio. Clean, decent teachers (not exceptional but good) and plenty of parking make it convenient. However, they are sticklers on the start time and have no problem refusing to allow you in if you show up on time or as little as 1 minute late. Not only do they refuse to let you in, but they welcome confrontation and hassle their customers.

One Sunday morning, I was excited to go to yoga and chill and caught every single red light on the way to the studio. As I rushed up to class, I walked in right at 9:00, NOT even ONE minute late, and the girl at the desk refused to let me in the class. As I was looking in the studio asking her to politely allow me in the class, I noticed other yogis still rolling out their mats and preparing for class just seconds before I walked in. The attendant continued arguing with me and proceeded to blockade herself in front of the door and refuse to let me by. As I watched the minutes pass by, I asked her why she was arguing with me relentlessly when instead she could have easily let me in the class and she then pulled me in another studio to continue the arguing. It would have been SO much easier to make someone's day instead of try to ruin their morning, but I guess that's just the way that I think. There was another Yoga Six employee at the desk who watched everything that occurred and felt terrible. She came up to me and said I will comp you 2 classes for all the grief, and I'm really sorry.

The following week I called the manager to inform him of what had happened and how I was badgered by his employee. Instead of being extremely sorry for what she did, he told me that he watched what happened on video and that I was never allowed back at the studio. (What a joke--as if I'd ever want to return to a place like that) I couldn't believe the customer service and how rude the male manager was and how he blamed the whole thing on me.

Anyway, do NOT go to this studio if you want a relaxing and zen experience. Read other Yelp reviewers: they have mentioned a similar story....and Beware! This place still sends weekly emails of specials/free classes/ deals and I wonder why? Maybe because they treat customers so poorly and there are so many wonderful yoga studios in the area (Corepower, Mantra, Yoga Tropics.) Don't waste your time and money here, Yogis!!

I've recently joined Yoga Six and have been going to their Carlsbad location. It's been a great experience. Lots of classes for different levels. The studio design is set up in such a way that you feel centered and relaxed right away. All the instructors have been wonderful. I highly recommend checking out Yoga Six and its classes.

I love coming to the Yoga Six Carlsbad studio. Everyone is so friendly and always greet me by name. The ladies locker room is clean and has everything you could possibly need for before and after your practice. The yoga studios are open and bright and very well ventilated if it gets too hot. Love that they have Sculpt classes 7 days a week. I'm hooked!

This is one of the most beautiful studios I have ever been to in SD! It used to be the old Haute Yoga but they've completely remodeled it. The colors are very natural and serene. The Yoga Six staff is friendly, they have tons of class each day, great locker rooms with showers, etc. It is a hot studio but they have plenty of non-heated classes too, which is great. Deep Stretch is one of my favs. New students get 6 free classes - totally worth it - and then a discount the first purchase. Gotta love that! The first time I went it was a little hard to find, they are on the 2nd floor above Bed Bath and Beyond in The Forum Shops.
