I want to say this gym just keeps going downhill. I wouldn’t recommend this location or the chambers location at all. The only reason why I keep showing up is because this location is closer to my home. I workout before 5 am and let me tell you it seems as if nothing is done from the night before. The bathroom nasty, trash on the ground, no cleaning supplies half the time. No one manning the front desk for hours when the gym opens up at midnight for about 2-3 hours how is that safe it isn’t. I think they should put a code on the door and when you open your app a random code will allow you to come in. When I have time during the day the bathroom is well kept as BJ does an amazing job she makes sure the women’s bathroom is spotless and I’m not sure why we can’t have a second person later in the evening to clean again. We pay all this money and it seems like no matter how much we complain nothing is done but we pay our money every single month like clock work. Something has to give.

Over the past several months, I’ve really noticed this gym making steady improvements. The staff has been much more attentive and consistent about keeping the entire space tidy, from the workout floors to the locker rooms. The sauna has also been upgraded, and it’s clear they’re putting effort into maintaining the equipment so everything stays in good working condition. One person who truly stands out is Patrick—he’s extremely responsive, always willing to listen, and quick to address any concerns members bring up. His professionalism and attention to detail make a big difference in the overall experience. Seeing the positive changes happening throughout the facility gave me the confidence to commit again, and I didn’t hesitate to renew my annual membership. It feels good to see a gym genuinely investing in its members’ comfort and satisfaction, and I’m glad to continue supporting a place that’s actively working to improve. Whether it’s the cleaner environment, the better-maintained machines, or the supportive staff, the upgrades are noticeable and very much appreciated.

Victoria at the front desk, the GM, and BJ (the bathroom attendant) were all absolutely PHENOMENAL. I spend a lot of time in Europe and the one thing they do better than us is tip their bathroom attendants. Biggest recommendation would be to be able to leave a tip for the people who work so hard to keep the gym clean and a safe space!

Extremely Disappointed and Hurt by My Experience with 24/7 Fitness

I signed up for this gym after undergoing major neck surgery following a motorcycle accident where I was thrown over 40 feet. My goal was simple — to slowly regain strength and feel like myself again.

On my very first day, even though it was painful, I pushed through the workout and felt proud. That feeling disappeared instantly when I returned to the locker room to find my brand-new lock (purchased directly from your front desk) cut open — and my car, keys, and wallet stolen.

I filed a report and spoke with the manager, who told me that due to what happened, my membership would be canceled once I filled out an incident report. I did exactly that. Yet here I am, six months later, still being charged — and at nearly double the advertised rate.

To make matters worse, only a month after signing up, my father was diagnosed with metastatic neuroendocrine carcinoma and passed away in April. Between my physical injuries, grief, and severe anxiety and depression, I haven’t been able to function normally — let alone work out.

I can’t express enough how disappointed and let down I feel. This gym was supposed to be a place to heal — instead, it turned into another source of pain and stress. I’ve pleaded repeatedly for the charges to stop, explaining that I’m struggling to afford even basic necessities, yet nothing has been done.

At this point, I strongly urge others to consider investing in quality home equipment instead — something small, multipurpose, and reliable. It will serve you far better than a membership with a company that has shown zero empathy or accountability.

This experience has left me with nothing but frustration, disappointment, and financial hardship. I will never return, and I will actively discourage others from signing up until this company starts treating people with basic decency and compassion.

Honestly I switched gyms from Chuze because this location seems closer to me. The guy to set me up for a membership was very cool and nice but I’m just very disappointed on how they don’t clean up the place. The machines and bathroom is always dirty and the machines look old and outdated. 😭 I don’t get paying 35 if I can just go to chuze for the same amount but more cleaner/healthier environment.

Walked in to just get a workout before I had to attend an event. Met with Dani at the front counter. She was SUPER amazing! Very friendly! She went over the options for a walk in use, and I was able to get in and get a good workout.

Front desk employee (can’t remember her name, starts with a D) deserves an A+ in customer service. Made getting a day pass for both me and my partner a breeze.

I’m only subtracting a star due to the condition of the equipment. Specifically the leg extension and leg curl machines were well worn to the point of visible damage.

Slight digression, but 24 Hr has a reputation for less than desirable or polite clientele. However, the Lowry location seemed completely normal and the members I interacted with were quite courteous.

I used to love their locations and this is the reason why I purchased a year and advance but I been so disappointed by every location I have visited lately. I’ve been a member of 24 Hour Fitness for a while now, and honestly, I’m beyond disappointed. The bathrooms are consistently dirty — it’s clear they’re not cleaned regularly. You’d expect better hygiene standards, especially in a gym environment.

On top of that, many of the machines are broken and stay out of order for weeks (sometimes even months) without being fixed. It’s incredibly frustrating to come in for a workout and find half the equipment unusable.

What’s worse is that they charge maintenance fees, but the facility is always in poor condition. Where is that money going? It definitely doesn’t seem like it’s being used to improve or maintain the gym.

Overall, I would not recommend this gym. For the price we pay, the quality and cleanliness should be much better.

I love the location, it’s a beautiful gym and not far from my home. However, the facility services have gotten worse since I started in 2016.
The swimming pool has recently accumulated a lot of debris and dirt, and the water is no longer clear enough for swimming. Many members jump into the pool directly from the sauna, hot tub, or Jacuzzi without showering first. I love swimming, but this kind of behavior has made me lose interest. Please give attention to the Gym!!!

This place is filthy. I was a member before covid and it was bad then. I rejoined in June 2025 and it is far worse than it was. Based on the grime on the machines; walls and floor, I can't imagine what is growing in the hot tub & the pool. Not only is the place filthy but the gym floor has duct tape over a damaged area right under the basket and multiple dead spots on the floor. I talked to others who say that this damage has been there for months. The basketball nets are torn. There are a lot of damaged floor tiles in the locker room. The water fountain is damaged. There is chewing gum residue all over the floor and more outside on the sidewalk. The Chambers & Alameda location is a little better but not much. I was hoping that after they filed bankruptcy that things would have improved but they have gotten worse.

Update to my review review from last summer: Still one star.
Air conditioning still not appropriately high enough or even on for such a large gym. When asking management there’s always an excuse from changing filters, to tech quit or is on holiday, to needing parts or wrong parts ordered for weeks on end. Same as last summer. Was informed it’s not going to get any better. Now apparently ‘corporate’ controls the temperature and won’t change it. Well maybe they should try to work out in this heat and lack of circulation. And how come other 24hr locations have excellent air con???? This time compared to last summer - no additional fans to circulate air. Upstairs cardio and back weight area is terrible.. again. At this point they obviously don’t give a darn.
Again..I’ve visited other 24hrs out of my area due to this health hazard.. the air con in each of the other facilities is working and in fact fridge like which is great. They don’t seem to have an issue. Beyond poor management to handle such a basic facility requirement. It ruins your workout and I dread each one at this location. It’s walking distance for me so I’d have to drive to other locations. Additionally, there’s only one smith machine and countless free squat racks. You have to time it right to get on the smith machine. They need to dump at least one of the other ancient racks and replace with a 2nd smith machine. The two old racks in the back are rarely used compared to the 1 smith machine.
ZERO stars for the lack of healthy air and air conditioning. We are starting months of heat and it’s utterly miserable trying to work out. You think they would have learned from last year. Pool and sauna is right next to weight room making it all worse. Cardio is upstairs .. with heat rising.. it’s even worse. It’s like working out in a greenhouse/hot house. I’m sure I’ll get the usual ‘thank you for your input’ comment at best.. and nothing will change. It’s a basic facility management issue.

I stopped by to explore the facilities, as I'm considering changing my membership from Anytime Fitness. I was really impressed by what they offer and the fact that it’s even less expensive than my current gym.

What surprised me the most was Patrick. He made me feel at home and walked me through everything I could expect. He was not pushy at all, which made me comfortable with the idea of purchasing a membership.

I received my guest pass and plan to get in one workout before officially signing up, but I'm already certain that I will become a member.

There is a lack of friendliness among the front desk staff. The last week I moved to Denver, and I was looking for a place nearby to join and begin my membership. Upon entering the building today, I was informed that I would not be able to participate in the one free day trial because I did not have my Colorado ID yet. I will not be returning or joining at all.

My husband a combat veteran whom uses the gym as a means to help self regulate and other various pt exercises, was verbally accosted by another gym member. Then said other member PROCEEDS to bump my husband multiple times and it was NOT until my husband goes to defend himself that staff wants to steps in and do damage control.
My husband suffers from a TBI, ptsd and anxiety, he has been working so hard on his social interactions and de-escalating skills while in the general public. It’s soo unfortunate that instead of the staff seeing that my husband was NOT the aggressor (probably because he’s a 6’3 heavy weight black male) they have still decided to “suspend” our membership because my husband defended himself against a belligerent man who has no compassion or empathy for those around him.
If you are a service member or a family member of a service member I give this gym 0/10 for how they handle situations and conflict. This isn’t just for this one incident but honestly for the gym overall.
This gym is very cliquey and if you don’t fit into their aesthetic or crowd they will let it be known. This is across the board from some of the staff and to many of the patrons.

I was verbally harassed and assaulted by another member and not only did i not start the argument, i made an attempt to deescalate the situation which resulted in the PASTOR yelling my face and slandering my nam. rather than having an articulable conversation he was being confrontational an aggressive. The staff immediately surrounded me as if i was the aggressor, when HE CAME AT ME! Over some weights not being put away and I SUPER SET ALMOST ALL OF MY EXERCISES. I wasnt even done in that section until he came at me sideways. I came back to explain to him what i was doing and he still persisted with belittling my character and talking down on my gym etiquette.

Rather than resolve this reasonably, the 24 hour fitness’s manager decided to freeze my account and i have not been able to go to any other location all because of this childish man and his gym buddies didn’t like that i defended /spoke up for myself.

I am a medically retired combat veteran and i chose this location in Particular due to its close proximity to somewhat of a “military area”. I am extremely embarrassed and ashamed bc my PTSD dictates that i already SHOULDNT GO ANYWHERE bc im ALWAYS GOING TO BE LABLED THE “THREAT”. i have been apart of this organization dating back to my active duty days around 2011/2012 and I no longer wish to be apart of this community nor organization. As much as it saddens me to do this, 24 hour fitness has NOT EVEN BEEN CLOSE to what it USE TO BE PRE-covid and it’s downsizing. Smh.

I expected so much more as a routine patron and veteran in this situation however, I no longer feel as safe as i once did this store.

My wife and I have joined a new gym franchise and her and I cannot be more comfortable and at peace at this new location.
“CHUZE FITNESS” is for the win! Thanks to them i did not have to put my physical therapy on hold and i have been able to keep up with my Dr prescribed exercises and stretching 🙏🏾

If anyone is thinking about joining 24 hours please consider all options before willingly joining such a distasteful group. They are but a shell of what they once use to be. Now it’s just consistently broken equipment, saunas, hot rooms, showers & toilets. Lost me for life, at least this particular location has fasho.

Half the Staff are friendly and welcoming which might be the only reason I will come back. Several of the staff won’t even acknowledge you and are too glued to their phones. I’ve wanted to buy something from the shop and no employee has been around. I typically come in around 9:30-10pm so I know it’s hard to find adequate staff but still, not an excuse.

I have gotten ill twice now from swimming in the pool. Members will hock loogies into the drain near the hot tub and no one showers before entering any of the facilities. Along with that, the overall hygiene of this location is very poor. Moldy intakes for the water in both the pool and the hot tub, band-aids and garbage litter the entire pool deck.

When I go to use the showers in the locker room, the floors are covered in hair and garbage. I’ve learned to just bring my stuff with me and not utilize this area.

I have been going to this gym for about a year now on a daily basis, and I can say with full confidence that the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve gotten to know. The trainers are very personable and knowledgeable for anyone who’s new to the gym as well! I’ve gotten to know plenty of members who are also so kind and make the experience even better when I’m there. The gym itself has everything you need if you’re getting started or if you’re a more experienced lifter. Plenty of cardio equipment, large classroom, sauna and steam room on site too. Overall very happy with my membership at this location, plus the gym itself is actually open 24 hours during the week which is great for every schedule

From stair climbers not working properly, filthy locker rooms, ho hum staff to an ex-athlete stashing the one and only EZ curl bar under his bench while not using it for half his work out (see photos) I’m beginning to think it’s about time to switch to planet fitness. The one and only reason I keep going to this gym is the jacuzzi which is usually dirty, kind of green and not very hot. This dump makes me miss the old Tiffany Plaza gym so badly. Damn 24 fitness, your prices suck, your gyms suck and you have rude patrons and do nothing about it. In December I had back surgery and needed to slowly get back to my former fitness. I started to go to 24hr fitness again and the staff was so kind and caring. Everyone treated me so well, asking me how I was and getting to know who I was and remembering details about me. I felt seen. I started with a personal trainer Mario about a month ago and it was one of the best decisions I've made. He has helped me get my life back to normal, get my strength back, and honestly hes listens when I need to vent about set backs I've had due to my injury. Hes kind and caring, and takes the time to make a fitness plan that works for his clients.
Patrick at the front desk always takes time out of his day to come talk to me before or after my sessions to see how I'm doing and has become a really good gym friend.
Travis helped me when I first came to the gym and everytime I walk in is the first to ask how everything in my life is going. Wants to know if my process is going well and keeps reminding my healing is a marathon.

I cant thank everyone is 24hr fitness enough go everything they've gone to help me get to where I am today.

Been a member for years. This location has gotten alot better in the last year or so. They stay on top of cleaning often and If the machines are down they seem to be fixed in a timely manner. Patrick always greets members with a smile and is very welcoming.

Edited to add details: I tried this gym on a trial pass. I've been going to Planet Fitness for years and I think my routine has plateaued (they're mostly machines), so I was eager to try a 24 (again) with things like a squat rack and bench. I didn't find the staff particularly friendly (I inquired 3 times about joining, and each time was told to come back later). It's dirty and busy, but so was the 24 Glendale I used to go to *shrug*. There is definitely a heavy meat-head steriod vibe and it's lacking a decent ab or stretching area.

The gym has begun to improve, the staff has steadily been on top of keeping the space clean, the sauna has been improved and equipment is being maintained. Patrick is especially responsive to members needs and concerns. I happily re-signed a new annual membership.

I’ve been going to 24 Hour Fitness ever since they switched to being open 24 hours a day, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for me. My schedule doesn’t always line up with typical gym hours, so having the flexibility to go in late at night has made it way easier to get my workouts in.
