I’ve been charged for services (training)not received and I have received appointment reminders to show up at my appointment time with no one there to train(30 minute drive each way). After trying to get in touch with Daylon he has chosen not to respond or refund. The facility has definitely gone down hill. It’s not clean and machines has been broken for months on end. This place is to be AVOIDED.This has left a bad taste about fitness places like this. Corporate has done nothing to help. There are better anytime fitness out there.

This place could be good but it’s neglected really bad . Machines are never cleaned wiped down nothing. Bathrooms are always very disgusting management is nonexistent. If you guys use any time fitness often around the country you know that if you frequent a location more than 12 times they change your home gym membership. They changed my membership to this location and all of a sudden they wanna charge me money when I’ve already paid a whole year Upfront. Instead of trying to figure out how to get money from corporate or whoever they need to they just wanted to charge me not communicate with me and try to work. It out just block me from using the gym. They’re currently still trying to charge me money, even though I don’t have access to the facility there are really bad business practices happening in here. I will notify the Better Business Bureau and show them. I was paid for the months and question and still am paid up at my home residence switching my home gym because I use one gym more than another is not a very good system, but instead of trying to figure it out with corporate, they do the easy thing to do and just try to charge me now wants to charge me for about $200 for two months. There are some crooks here planet fitness is five minutes away 10 times bigger cleaner and more equipment. You just have to deal with more people. In a way I have to make this written account so they know that they kept trying to charge me for services. I’ve already paid for and they’re still trying to charge me money and block me from using their facility even though I’ve paid a whole year avoid this place at all cost

Other locations of Anytime Fitness are amazing, and so are their owners. I have never once seen the owners of this club here, and I have yet to be able to contact them. I would not recommend this location. I have tried around 5-7 of them throughout Colorado, and it is the dirtiest and the machines are the least kept up with. I will say that the other members who go here are very friendly, and the machines that do work are of good variety. However, the membership cost is more expensive than a lot of other gyms in the area. It would be great to be able to cancel my membership…if only there were staff or management to contact to be able to do so.

Would never recommend, my partner has a gym membership fee and has been attempting to contact anytime fitness and has not received any reply whatsoever, whether it’s through email or phone call regarding a membership cancellation and it has gotten to the point where he is getting threatened and getting phone calls saying he will be sent to collections due to this. I will be looking on how to pursue legal action if we don’t get a response or get this problem solved!

It has gym equipment, sometimes clean bathrooms. The owner doesn't care a bit about the members once he has the hook in them. Received an email about renewal, sent the email to cancel. The owner told me to call them, I did, they told me the owner has to process the cancellation. The owner has been ignoring me completely until his precious payments stop and then suddenly he is listening. Shitty gym, don't waste your money or time here. Better off at a gym that will actually help their members.

Avoid Anytime Fitness and especially this gym at all costs. That is, unless you plan to stay a member for life. They simply will not let you cancel. Despite many phone calls and e-mails, no one will respond or help. Their door is always locked too, so an in-person visit is impossible. Plus, they aren’t ever there. Their office door is always closed. Then, when you dispute their charges after canceling their service via e-mail and phone, they send you to collections. The collection company they use threatens your personal safety to the point of me calling the police. Avoid, avoid, avoid…

Started a month-to-month membership with this gym, which I later requested to cancel after deciding that I wasn’t a fan of the location and moved to another gym… I specifically paid more to not have a term contract to try them out for a few months. I sent an e-mail to cancel in February, to which the owner replied saying I needed to come in to cancel. I informed him that e-mail cancellation is all that’s required per the contract, and he went completely silent. No response since. The agreement is very explicit on e-mail cancellation. I’ve been billed every month since, which I’ve had to dispute with my credit card company. I guess I’ll just be disputing the charges every month for the rest of my life since I can’t seem to get any reply or action from the business. Terrible, unprofessional business practices here.

I really hate to leave a poor public review, as I know the owner has a family but I have to second and third prior reviews that mention poor customer service based on what I will share. I have an active 2 year agreement with a fixed biweekly rate that has increased to a higher biweekly amount for the last 6 payments out of the blue with no notice from the owner. I have Emailed three times and left two voicemails over the last 3+ weeks, but no response. I called the Finance Company recommended on the AF parent page site but because I have an active agreement with a fixed rate, the owner is required to notify me of any changes 10 days prior to the change before charging my credit card and I was directed back to him (who unfortunately does not respond). I suppose I will be left to contest with my credit card company and I am awaiting follow up from attorney since this seems to be a breach of contract. I am ready to cancel and pay the fee, but this makes me nervous given other members at this location (and according to Consumer Affairs) many other AF locations across the country have shared they were sent to collections even when trying to pay. I really did not want it to come to this, as I prefer supporting local businesses and owners. However, given the lack of customer service coupled with similar member complaints regarding inconsistent cleanliness and the dilapidated state of some of the equipment I enjoy using it sadly has not been the experience I expected. I can agree with Brian's recent review that one of the pros is how relatively empty the gym has been when I've visited. I do wish we had some closer gym options to south Castle Rock / Crystal Valley.

I've been a member of AF since 2015 and visited several locations. This one used to be among the best but has completely fallen apart and I try to make it to other locations if time permits.

It is always dirty and has a sharp foul urine odor. Always seems like some equipment is damaged or broken. Usually out of supplies to wipe down equipment, paper towels, and hand soap. Bathrooms are usually gross and as of this review the lights are not working in one of them. Its changed ownership over the years and current owner truly seems MIA or just doesn't care at all. Several gym friends have had very poor experiences with owner. Again it's sad because this was a fantastic gym back in 2015 and for years after that.

Only pros are that it's usually very empty and it's conveniently located. Unfortunately the gym choices in Castle Rock kind of suck...others have a lot of issues too.

In-between S&C gyms, came here hoping to get a day pass (during staffed hours), check the place out, and get in some light exercise. Front door was locked when I got there, I saw members inside, but no sign of any staff members. Stood outside for about 10 minutes hoping someone would let me in before turning around and leaving. Getting a membership here isn't worth the trouble for this level of customer service.

Horrible customer service. This the third owner in 5 years. I was notified by my bank that my payment was declined because it had an invalid expiration date on my card, my card wasn’t set to expire for 4 more months. I emailed stating I wanted to cancel an Daylen responded saying I would have to pay any monies owed and sign the cancellation agreement. I responded saying that’s fine asking how much would be owed, gave him the correct expiration date and asked when he would be there to sign the cancellation. He never responded and just turned me into collections instead. I hope this place goes under, absolutely horrible customer service, I was literally trying to give him the money owed.

I also watched a couple trying to get into the facility to get their fobs because they had started a membership. Dailon completely ignored them and when someone finally let them in he basically told them to come back some other time because he was in a training session.

This place is a joke, holes in walls, dirty equipment, never paper towels in the bathrooms and sometimes nothing to use to wipe down the equipment. This is absolutely the worst AnytimeFitness/owner I have ever experienced.

Excellent gym! The owner, Deidra, is extremely nice and even calls me by name every time I come in. They have everything you could want for a wide variety of workouts and the place is super clean. It is by far my best gym experience!

New owner does not keep up the gym. Last visit in, Fall of 2024 place was a mess and out of 3 bathrooms, none were usable. Bathroom light out, no paper towels, no soap. No way to wash my hands after using the bathroom and then touching the gym equipment, and obviously the same is true for everyone else. When I emailed the owner about the gross conditions and said I wanted to cancel membership, he told me I was under contract and had to pay in full, no offer of apology, no explanation or telling me the situation had been fixed. Really unprofessional and dirty. Even worse, there is no assistance from the franchise or corporate, they have absolutely no customer service department. Lots of other options out there, I strongly encourage everyone to find a place that is clean and safe and treats it's members with respect!

I like every anytime fitness location accept this one. I have never worked out in a dirtier gym. No members clean the equipment after use. I have to clean the equipment before and after use. It is disgusting. I have even seen a worker come out of the office, work out on the machines and not clean the machine after. Someone that works there! It’s rare to see anyone working there in general, and I’ve never seen them clean anything. On the weekends they run out of paper towels to clean the machines, and the trash cans overflow. Please make your gym cleaner!

I love this Anytime Fitness location here in Castle Rock! I don’t get a lot of free time off from my home life with two young children, and so when I do get a few hours of free time while my husband watches the kids, I just love getting out and coming here. I do my workout, relieve stress, and re-energize myself for the rest of the day! The staff is great, and manager/owner Charles Hayes takes care of the facility and its members! I’ve had many different gyms in the past that I’ve been a member of, and this one is without a doubt my favorite! Great atmosphere, staff is friendly and caring, and the building is clean and maintained! I recommend this gym 100% !!! ❤️👍😃

When I first started coming to anytime they were very welcoming and always wanted to help their clients to achieve their goals. During my contract with them trainers seem to stay for a month or two and then leave,making keep a regular work out routine nearly impossible. Alonyng with a dietary plan and equipment safety and use was always changing. I stopped going to anytime with the remaining couple months left on my membership because I felt uncomfortable, unsafe, and unwelcome. When I signed up with anytime I was under the impression that after my contract was up that was the end of paying for this ridiculous place. However after 6month I get a text from some guy I have never met advertising for free seasons this months. Confused by why he is even texting me in the first place. I went back through my bank statements and found that this gym has been changing me for a membership still. This is absolutely ridiculous that in an age where everyone uses technology there was no email and/or phone call notifying me of these charges and why I was still being charged after my membership was already expired. I'm am so very disappointed in the lack of communication with this gym and Infuriated in the fact that I have been charged nearly $200 extra ... I will never recommend anyone to this gym.

I have been working out at Anytime Fitness Castle Rock since February of this year. The owner, Christine, gave me a tour of the facility which was very clean and non-cluttered. Christine was never pushy and gave me the membership options without any pressure.

The equipment was current and provided me with all of the essentials to help me meet my personal health goals. I especially appreciated multiple ab and lower back machines.

Having had multiple fitness memberships in California and Washington states I think Anytime Fitness has given me the most value of all of them. And you can't beat the fob which allows me to use the gym day or night. I look forward to a lengthy membership with Anytime Fitness in Castle Rock. Thank you, Christine! You rock!!

Anytime Fitness castle rock is the best gym I've been to. I investigated about ten other gyms before I came here, and I'm sad I didn't check this one first! The staff is incredible. They're all so nice and willing to help. As soon as you walk through the door they greet you and if you're a new gym member, you get taken care of and shown around immediately! The gym is always clean, the floors, bathrooms, windows, and especially the equipment. Everything is always wiped down with no chalk or dirt or anything else on it. The prices are unbelievably fair and some of the best I had found when originally looking for a gym. They have an appropriate balance of weights and cardio equipment so everyone of all ages, fitness levels, and goals can workout in the same place. They have awesome classes whether you want to relax with some nice yoga, or rock out with Zumba! Anytime Fitness is a place for all types of people and all different types of goals. I would never go to a different gym! It's like a family here now!! I love Anytime Fitness!!!!
