Axistence is one of the best gyms Iβve had the pleasure of being a member of. Attentive, knowledgeable coaches, smart, scalable workouts, and some of the happiest people coming in to put in the work week after week.

The coaches at Axistence Athletics are among the most educated, compassionate, and professional in the world. I get to work with some of the true leaders in the strength and fitness industry (Pavel, Brett Jones, and others at that level) The coaches at Axistence are at the same level. Often hosting continuing education seminars attended by people from all over the world. How cool is that?
The community is next level. Each member is a real, down-to-earth, hard-working person who loves outdoor recreation as much as they love being fit. Member activities include hikes, BBQs, paddleboarding, climbing, and meetups.
This is not a flashy gym with loud techno and lots of supplements. This is a legitimate training facility for people who want to train for life and learn from some of the best coaches in the world. All are welcome here. Each person goes through a dedicated assessment to ensure all movements and exercises are safe for them in classes.
The one-on-one coaching is top-notch as well. Each person gets top-level coaching to help them make the most of their investment in their health and well-being. I highly recommend Axistence Athletics!

If I could give ten stars, I would! Axistence is truly an experience unlike I've had at any other fitness center.
I have had many different fitness experiences; personal training, fitness classes, running groups, working out by myself at 24 Hour fitness, etc. but I've never felt as welcome at a gym as I do at Axistence.
Ryan Humphries has truly created an environment for everyone to succeed AND feel welcome while working toward set goals. There are many classes held throughout the day making it easy to find a time that best works for everyone's schedule. I also love that each new member goes through the "pipeline" ensuring every skill we use is learned in a controlled environment to make certain we do it correctly.
If you are looking for a place to challenge your current fitness level and become stronger and more confident, look no further than Axistence!

Axistence was recommended to me as an approachable alternative to Xfit, so when I was looking to return to functional fitness I started here. Ryan is an excellent coach and brings great energy to the classes, the programming is fun and functional, and the people are super friendly and welcoming. You wonβt find a hyper-competitive environment where the score comes first, but solid workouts to build strength and endurance for whatever life brings your way.

Axistence Athletics is a great gym with a fantastic community of people that are living an active existence. Small group training gives you the benefits of a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost. Dan and Ryan are knowledgeable and experienced coaches that put a lot of thought and effort into designing a training program that will help you in whatever activities you enjoy outside the gym. Skiing, hiking, climbing, running, walking, yard work, playing with the kids, power shopping, whatever it is you like to do, you'll enjoy it more after training here!
You'll probably meet here someone that's going to take you out on some new adventures too.

Great experience with Ryan and his team. I want to say I've been coming here off and on for the better part of a decade. Community is not just a buzzword with Axistence. Everyone is always so nice and open, not a clique-y gym at all. Tons of activities to participate in at your discretion from Festivus party to ice climbing and everything in between. Great location and lots of toys and an outside area in the summer. On top of all that, the programming is sound and well thought out. Looking forward to the next decade!

I found Axistence at a health fair on Buckley and quickly called it home. Itβs by far the best gym in the Aurora/Denver area! Regardless if youβre new to fitness or seasoned, the coaches have a wealth of knowledge and are simply elite. The community is second to none and the workouts will push you.
Movement is so important and this gym makes sure that our bodies do just that. Not every workout is heavy/fast/typical (except no workout here is typical) - some are simply just moving, but donβt let that fool you. Those flows are something else.
Highly recommended! Go and check it out!

This gym is amazing! The owner, Ryan Humphries is in a caliber all of his own. If you brought him your newborn he could forge it into an elite baby that would be the next coming of the divine among mere mortals.

The coaches are the best in Denver. I have several injuries from being a weekend warrior in my 30's... now in my 60's and needing the extra attention to form and function, Axistance has helped me the most.

Hands down Axistence is one of the best gyms for people who are looking to join a very accepting, active, supportive community as well as a gym that pushes you to work hard, try challenging movements but what is also super impressive is they avoid programming exercises that lead to high rates of injury. So their programming is extremely mindful and purposefully put together. If you're looking for a gym that has a STELLAR community-feel as well as thoughtful programming - Axistence is for sure the place to be.

I've worked out at a lot of gyms, and Axistence is at the top of all of them. Coach/owner who cares about all the members.
I found this gym on March 13, 2020, the day the world shut down for the pandemic, and I did not attend any classes until June...I was so grateful for all of the COVID precautions at the time.
Great coaches, great people!

If you're looking for a gym where you can improve your overall functional fitness, get stronger and enhance your human Axistence in the presence of other like minded and similarly motivated humans, then look no further. The wonderful coaching staff will meet you where you are and get you where you want to be. No goals? They can help you set 'em. Need nutritional advice/support? They can help with that too.
Put in the work, be patient, trust the programming, and results WILL follow! I can attest.
Take some time to join us for a workout and learn more about what it means to be a member of the Ax community.

This is the most amazing gym I've ever been to! I hope more and more gyms follow their lead (or that they open more locations). Their workouts are fun and functional which is awesome, but they really standout by actually offering opportunities to apply your fitness with outings like hiking 14ers, climbing outside, skiing/snowboarding, and all kinds of other adventures. It makes you feel like you're really working towards something in the gym, and their workouts really do prepare you for all of those things. It also creates an amazing sense of community! Everyone is so supportive there and really just wants to see everyone do well.

This is an exceptional business full of great coaches and members. I joined Axistence in January 2020, which meant I had just a few "normal" months before COVID restrictions set in. I joined with a lot of running experience but little formal strength training. From the first day, Ryan, Dan, and the other coaches made every effort to provide me with detailed, useful feedback to improve. As a result, I've made huge strides in my form and movement, allowing me to progress more quickly than I'd expected. I was also impressed with how hard the Axistence team worked to accommodate various needs during COVID restrictions; it was a good window into how much thought and intention they put in to create tailored programming that helps everyone meet his/her/their individual goals. Lastly, I'll note that the other members have been a great source of community, support, and humor when there wasn't much of those things going around! Kudos, y'all.

I have been part of the Axistence community for almost 2 years and it has been the BEST match for my fitness goals. The coaches have extensive training that puts their credentials and ability to help their clients way beyond the typically gym trainer. This community is full of real people, with real jobs, and real ambition - no meat heads and no body shaming. Their philosophy is all about getting your body in the best shape for an adventurous life AND for your individual health goals.

The Axistence coaches are great. They quickly learn your fitness goals, and work with you to achieve them. This is as close as you can get to personal training, without paying the higher price. The entire Axistence community is very supportive.

Great place, glad I found out about it. Trainers are great and knowledgeable. Friendly, fun, and low key atmosphere but serious about their mission of training for life long adventures while meeting your personal goals. Different workout daily/weekly. Only been going for two months and love it! It's something I look forward to and dread sometimes (in a good way). Challenged consistently so I'm looking forward to the continued gains I will make as I pursue this journey.

I joined this gym about a month ago and have LOVED it so far. The trainers are great and very personable. The unique thing about this gym is they train you to be active and able in the outdoors. They do nearly weekly outdoor activities that you can participate in.

I had a great time today at the Fire By Friction class hosted by Andrew. He was a great teacher - very thorough, patient, and kind! It was really cool getting to learn not just the basic technique, but really a little slice of everything from start to finish. We covered some of the types of wood that are most suitable, where to find it, how to make the tools, etc. Really, this class could easily be an entire 8 hour day, but he did a good job packing the principle knowledge into a 4 hour class. It went by quickly because I was having a lot of fun. Looking forward to some of the other classes this spring and summer!

Extremely well-staffed facility with coaches that have a wide range of skills including Move Nat, CrossFit, Ultra marathoning, obstacle racing and nutrition. As an individual with a physical handicap, I also feel very comfortable with the skills and attention given by the coaches.

A gym built on support and family. Workouts emphasize motion and the core (at times, like yoga on steroids). Instructors constantly check on proper form to prevent injuries, yet know how hard to push you to improve. Crossfit is scalable (others lift more weight than I do, yet I do the same reps) and they help set your safe limits (or even substitute activities). I love their outdoor group activities and how they set up their programs for seasonal sports.

Great people, great place! I've been attending for almost a year now and have surpassed all of my original goals with the help of Dan and Ryan. The coaches are really fabulous, friendly, and knowledgeable They're great at scaling to appropriate levels, focusing on form, providing little tweaks, and ensuring every members' safety. Workouts are highly varied and incorporate crossfit, strongman, movnat, etc. I really enjoy the programming. The community is warm and accepting of all levels, ages, etc.

When I first started I didn't know anything about working out but after a lot of patience from Dan and Ryan I feel like I have learned so much and so far have seen awesome results! I can't wait to see what else I can achieve with their help in the next year!

Look no further for your gym! Great vibe here. Trainers are very talented, with a strong emphasis on technique and tailoring workouts to an individual's needs.
Not typical Crossfit WODs each day as there is an emphasis on natural body movement and learning strengthening skills to serve us well in Colorado outdoor activities. These "fieldwork" days mix up the daily workouts and make you look forward to the next day!
Great community of club members, diverse age range and athletic skill levels. Membership here has truly changed our lives.

Discovered this gym while in town visiting family, and I have to say I am impressed. I learned more in the three or four days I spent working out here than I have in all the time I worked with my personal trainer back home. The owners are very knowledgeable in what they are teaching, and provided a very personalized work out for me with invaluable feed back regarding form and posture. I wish I could clone them and take home them with me. The quality of the instruction and the facilities are top notch.

Dan and Ryan are extremely knowledgeable, very attentive, and great motivators. They really know their stuff and are very good at coaching and correcting your form, and making sure you are safe. I've been attending their gym for a few months now and I have never once been worried about injury or felt as though they weren't paying attention to the class. When you're struggling with something they take the time to really help you work through it and correct your posture instead of telling you to just use less weight, or to power through it. Having an instructor who knows what they are doing can make a huge difference in your gym experience. I highly recommend Axistence Athletics because of the quality of the instructors and their feed back.
In addition, one of my favorite things about Axistence is that it is more than just a Cross Fit gym. They incorporate MovNat and Parkour principles in the mix as well.
Thanks to Dan and Ryan, I feel stronger, leaner, and more confident in my every day life. I actually look forward to going and working out because it feels more like adventure time than "mandatory gym time". Work outs are fun and challenging. You never know what to expect when you show up. I'm excited to see where the next year at Axistence takes me. Laura Croft, watch out, I'm on my way to becoming the next Tomb Raider. :D
