I started taking dance classes at Bella Diva Dance 5 years ago, I take Bella Bro/Int. Adv BollyWood, and Monday night Bolly X classes, the culture and community at the studio is unmatched, the teachers are amazing and dance is a really great workout, I never leave a class not exhausted from a very fun experience. Amazing instructors and all of the classes are so fun! I love that they have student showcases so we can show off everything we learned. The instructors are so knowledgeable about the cultures being taught through dance! Their motto is “Dance is for Every Body” and they truly follow this. Instructors have a planned lesson & teach a ciuple small routine sections that u can practice as a dance. They also have a small video of ur class u can access for practice. I have been with this dance studio for 5 years and have loved every moment! This community is so welcoming and supportive. I thought it would be difficult to get back into dance as an adult since I hadn’t done dance since I was a kid, but it was such a positive environment to beginners. I regularly take 3 classes a week and love my teachers! It’s remarkable how many different dance styles are offered here plus we get an opportunity to perform twice a year. I am an adult-learner and have never taken dance classes before Bella Diva. When I originally started going to classes, I had hoped to enjoy my time and make at least one friend. In reality I unlocked a new passion, found a reason to be happy every week, and I made a gaggle of friends. But enough about me!

This studio is such a gem because of the joy and strength of its community. When you try something new it can be intimidating. When I first started dance classes, my nerves quickly transformed into curiosity and joy. Everybody was greeting each other, and you could tell there was camaraderie and friendship. I have been coming to the studio now for a couple of years and I am still amazed by how much mingling everybody does - while there are obvious friendships the atmosphere doesn't feel cliquey. It's quite refreshing! This may be due to the plethora of dance styles that are offered at the studio.

Speaking of, it's so fun to try the different styles that are available. The teachers are world class! They are always pushing themselves to learn more about their dance styles, and this seems to include occasionally taking a trip to the dance's country of origin for study! More than that, the owner (Caitlin) and the staff empower students to share the dance styles that we learn. We are encouraged to participate in community events, showcases, and external social dance communities. Their knowledge and encouragement demonstrate Bella Diva's commitment to being a world dance community.

The teachers will challenge you to go as far as you want to go, and the students will gently nudge you to try new things, and the vibes will nurture you - or at least give you a good laugh. You really just have to experience it for yourself!

I reached out initially via the website to request a follow up that way and didn’t hear anything after a week. Then I proceeded to call the business number directly and left my name and phone number after requesting rates and contacts for private belly dancing lessons.

The person I spoke to told me they would reach out to their instructors and have someone contact me and then a week and some change went by and I never heard anything. After the difficulty I experienced twice with trying to connect to someone, I am ok with moving on from here to try to figure out other solutions.*

This is the second dance studio that I’ve reached out to to try to find private dance lessons and was told I would hear back from someone and have not. Incredibly discouraging when you’re trying to find a new hobby and are willing to pay above a group class rate to get started. :/ Just going to stick to Steezy from here till I have the energy to begin to look for private lessons again. 😒

I found this studio 4 ago and I cannot tell you how happy I am! It’s hard to find a place which is open for every BODY, that supports culture, and everyone who walks through their doors. I love how knowledgeable the teachers are and how they always teach not just the dance but the roots of it. Wow I'm overwhelmed in writing this. This place is suchhhhhhh a vibbeeee! I can't say enough amazing things about this place so I'm going to break it down for you:
This studio is unlike any other, seriously try me to find similar... they offer a diverse selection of classes to choose from, of all dance levels and dance types from around the world. I joined Bella in early 2021 I had belly danced before many years prior but thought hey I'll check it out. I didn't know I would be finding my sanctuary. Everyone was extremely welcoming, so became my adult love affair with belly dance. This is a place where if you have never danced a day in your life you have a place, if you have been dancing for years you have a place, if you need a social outlet to meet other bad bi*&%es and have something for yourself you have a place! One thing I will say is this is not a dance class at a gym this is historically, culturally backed, and choregraphed dance lessons. All the instructors are beyond talented, warm, professional, and work with you one on one with your technique so you can improve. Everyone here truly wants you to be the best version of your dancing self. I do several types of dance at several different studios in the Denver metro but my heart belongs to belly-dance and my heart is at home at Bella Diva! Side note if you are unsure and don't believe all the reviews do a drop-in class you will be hooked. If you scared go to church if you want to dance come to Bella Diva!!!!!!

I found Bella Diva in 2017 after the birth of my 3rd and 4th children. Having twins put me into a very different place in terms of feeling good in my body. With zero dance experience, I entered the studio as a 37 year old. Now at 43 all four of my children and I dance with the studio. It is our second home, truly. There isn’t a better community to be a part of and to bring your children into as well. Bella Diva is a really special dance studio in Denver. The beginner Samba classes are excellent, the teachers are so knowledgeable and the classes are fun and really help you improve and understand the cultural significance of the dances. Adult ballet is also fun and very accessible. The studio is warm and welcoming, and their new space is lovely and very comfortable. This dance studio is warm, welcoming, and awesome! Back in March I decided to take dance classes (for the first time ever in my life!), and was really intimidated and self-conscious about getting started. I was drawn to Bella Diva World Dance due to a lot of positive messaging on their website celebrating and exploring other cultures and promoting dance for every body. I am glad I took the plunge and signed up for the beginner’s samba class! Everyone - from the instructors (shout out to the beginner samba instructors Caitlin and Chelsi!) to the other studio members - have been nothing but kind and supportive from day one. I am not entirely comfortable moving my body yet, and am still working through some self-confidence issues, but joining Bella Diva World Dance has been a wonderful experience for me so far, and I am looking forward to continuing my dancing journey here!

Great dance studio! I belly danced prior to moving to Denver and knew I wanted to find a local studio once I moved. Metro-Denver has lots of options, but Bella Diva really stood out to me. I watched a few of their recorded performances on YouTube and was truly STUNNED by how amazing they were-- they looked like the dancers from Egypt and Turkey that I would watch! I knew immediately that I wanted to learn from them and they did not disappoint! They are great instructors and it's been SO much fun as a student. It's also nice that the studio offers many other styles and dances-- there's so many options to choose from! Plus, they have an impressive online collection of recorded classes, which makes practicing at home a breeze. I can confidently say that I intend to continue attending Bella Diva for as long as I live in Denver. I cannot say enough about how much I love Bella Diva World Dance! I’ve been taking dance classes almost all my life. I moved to CO about 7 years ago and took a long 5 year hiatus from dancing until about 2 years ago when I came across Bella Divas website. I was nervous to start dancing again after so long but all the teachers and students made me feel so welcome. The wide range of classes offered from different regions of the world is unlike other studios I’ve danced with in the past. Additionally, the dance teachers are so knowledgeable about the type of dance they are teaching and they take the time to give you the background behind the dance/music to make it as authentic as possible. DO NOT GO TO THIS STUDIO!!!!....Unless you are legit ready to step out of your comfort zone, learn about different countries and cultures, and join a forever family that will support you both in AND out of the studio.

I wasn't trying to be dramatic, but it's the truth. Back in 2018, I was deployed in the Middle East. It was the longest I've been away from my family back in Jersey, and I just found out my life was about to change because I was moving to Colorado (for all good reasons that God hooked ya girl up with!). But besides my dad, step-mom and brothers, I knew absolutely no one!

While I was in the Middle East, I fell in love with the Arabic culture, food, chai, music, and dance. It led me to want to find official belly dance classes to embrace it even more. I did a local search, and in the middle of the Middle East, I found Bella Diva World Dance. If you're an adult, you know how hard it is to make friends! Well, that wasn't the case when I stepped into the studio for the first time. They embraced me with open arms and much patience with my first few classes. Five years later, and I'm dancing Bellydance at an intermediate level, Samba at an advanced level, and Groov3! I'm so excited for the expansion because it's going to offer more new cultures to explore!

This place changed my life and continues to challenge me and uplift me. I had both my hips replaced in 2019. Then Covid hit in 2020 and even though I was healed and ready to dance, I had to wait another year. When I finally got back to dancing, I discovered Bella Diva and got to dance with my new hips for the first time. There are no words for the deep joy I felt. On top of that, here I met some of the most talented, kind and joyous people I had ever encountered. My dance of choice is belly dance. My teachers are patient with me. They take time to really teach me how to dance correctly. I learn stretches and moves that help strengthen my hips and feel good in my body. I deal with a lot of tightness and weakness in my muscles still, but I am working it out. I am better every day and these teachers are getting me there. Belly dance has given me a way to not only strengthen my body, but to strengthen my spirit too. I am alive again. The passion and joy that these instructors show me everyday is absolutely inspiring. I had never danced before in my life and now it is one of my favorite hobbies thanks to the amazing instructors and students at Bella Diva. For a "business" review, they have a great selection of dance classes for all levels at reasonable prices. They also have online classes that run with the in-person classes and the instructors always make sure to check in on the online people as well, it's a great way to learn if you can't come in person.

For a personal review, this is a pretty magical place. Everyone is friendly and accepting. Caitlin, the instructors, and the students really foster a wonderful, judgement-free community here. The classes are great exercise and you don't even realize you're working out.

The instructors are also phenomenal and willing to work with whatever goals you have. Just want to have fun? Awesome, you will! If you're more serious and want to work towards performing/competing they are truly top notch. The teachers will work with you towards whatever your version of "success" looks like.

If you're considering learning how to dance, definitely don't think you're too awkward/out of shape/whatever! Seven months ago I was falling over my own feet in my first class and now I am so happy I stuck with it.

Bella Diva is the most inclusive, professional, talented, diverse & FUN dance group I’ve come across as a DJ & event producer. I have to agree with the other reviewers that Caitlin is so very caring toward every student & fellow artists, so full of energy, and a powerhouse human being.

In quarantine times I’ve especially appreciated their positive spirit & feel good content.

Bella Diva is one of those small businesses that makes a community FEEL like a community. I have not taken any of their classes, but as a photographer/videographer I have worked with them many times and attended several of their fantastic showcases. I always felt like Denver was one of the major cities that lacked in culture, but Bella Diva is an example that cultural expression and local art is alive and well in the Mile High City.. Caitlin runs her business professionally, but also makes everyone she teaches and works with feel like family. I have watched my wife grow from a beginner dancer all the way to an instructor there under the mentorship and support of Caitlin, and now she can't imagine her life without Bella Diva in it. If you've ever thought about taking some dance classes, learning something new, or stepping a bit outside your comfort zone to experience something fun and new, I cannot recommend Bella Diva highly enough!

Ever since I started taking classes in January, I have had such an enjoyable and exciting experience. I have learned so much in my time here and I have become confident in my dancing and my skills. The instructors and fellow dancers are very welcoming and helpful and they make you feel right at home. Bella Diva offers a welcoming environment to everyone, is hard not to became a Bella Addict because they have so many fun classes to choose from. The students are very supportive of each other, the teachers are knowledgeable patience and challenging the students to reach their best pontential.
