I recently booked a birthday party that included a party room and ice skating for my young kiddo. It was hands down one of the most fun birthday parties we have experienced. Alli the event coordinator was so wonderful to work with. She took the time to answer all of my questions before booking and was so accommodating to make sure the party day was set up beautifully. We loved our group had the rink all to ourselves as many of the kids were super young and it was a lot of families first time on the ice. We also enjoyed the restaurant after our party. The food was really good and the staff was super intentional with their patience and kindness with our big group of people. Thank you Blue Sports Stable for a bday party will always remember.

Went 6 weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing! Food's good, wait staff is super nice (our waitress was Arya. Very friendly!) But the complex itself is an amazing thing to see - tennis courts, ice rinks, and basketball courts all in one building! The place is enormous and tons of fun. If you're looking for some time to kill this is the place to do it. Grab a bite and watch, or possibly play, some fun sports.

We were there to watch our daughter’s volleyball tournament and it felt like we were watching the girls from outside. It was cold and I don’t think the heater was on. I asked some random girls if it was cold while playing, just to get an unbiased response and they said Yes! They were freezing and they requested I go complain. So if you attend a full day of activities here during the winter be sure to bring heavy Coats and Blankets just to be comfortable.

Learn to Skate and Jr Riders program is absolutely fantastic.
Coach Jill Kombeitz runs the program wonderfully and other coaches were amazing as well.

Our kid failed level 1 skate twice at other far away place before. Wobbly penguin on ice, scared of falling. Coach Jill helped so much with the basics to build self confidence. Now he simply loves being on ice and can never get enough ice time.
After six months of attending two programs, kid is now playing competitive hockey.

Every block of program gave 10 public ice tickets at the time and weekend public ice skating has been a fun year around family activity as well. I just wish I can find time to do Learn to Skate for adults to beat the kid again on ice.

We love doing the open skate. We often go in the middle of the week and have the ice all to ourselves, which is great when you’re learning to skate (especially stop; It was a great place to get engaged too ;)). The Learn to Skate program here is awesome for both adults and children! It's challenging starting a new sport as an adult however I have received amazing support and encouragement from the awesome coaches! Special shout out to Christina (who is always able to figure out a different way to explain a skill so that it finally clicks in my brain), Jill (who is the master of ALL things skating -hockey AND figure skating!!), Jackie, and Ariann for being so supportive in my adult (beginner) figure skating journey!

My daughter also learned a ton from various coaches here over the past couple of years and has been lucky enough to work with Christina and Jill as well!

The facility is well maintained and the prices are reasonable. This is our favorite place to skate out of all the local rinks we've checked out!

Our family has had a fantastic experience over the past two years at Blue Sport Stable in their Learn to Skate and Junior Riders hockey programs. The programs are very well-run, the facilities beautiful, and the student-to-teacher ratios remarkably low. The instructors are kind, knowledgeable, and engaging (many accomplished skaters/hockey players in their own right) and manage to strike just the right balance between discipline, technical instruction, and fun. The coaches, including Junior Rider director and Learn to Skate instructor Jill Kombeitz and Assistant GM Nathan Burch, take the time to really get to know their students and their instruction needs, and we (kids and adults like me!) have been so pleased with our skills development and progression. We have felt welcomed across the board from the front desk staff to the program directors, and the Sport Stable has gradually become a home-away-from-home for our family. Highly recommend and hope that others have the same great experience as our family!

Don't bother going for a MMA or boxing match. I bought reserved seats (Row 1 seats 17&18). To start...there was only 12 seats in the row! The usher told me they ran out of chairs and that I'd have to just find a seat. They push everything so far back from the ring and octagon that it's tough to watch the action due to the fact that all of the seats are below the height of the fighters. We had a great experience hosting our daughter’s 6th birthday here. We purchased the Skill pad package which included a private rink, skate rentals for all guests, party room, pizza, and beverages. The kids were also able to use skate assists which was great for the kids with less skating experience. Everyone had a really great time. The staff were very friendly and the facility was nice and clean. This was my first time hosting a party like this and I would recommend if you have little ones that love to ice skate.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, every employee we encountered was extremely rude to multiple people attending a basketball tournament. There is NEVER any parking. What is their solution? Close down a perfectly good parking lot and pave over it. Y’all did NOT plan for this, and the construction workers taking up the spots that people actually using the facility need access to will NOT help your situation. People are bringing heavy gear into the building constantly, it is NOT beneficial to tell them to either park in a garage that doesn’t belong to them (!!! The medical center literally has signs up inside the garage) or make them park multiple blocks away and hike to the building. Whoever planned all this out clearly did NOT think it through.

I get it's just a for fun league but we payed good money and are not getting what we payed for. The ice on both rinks are very chewed up and can't even see the faceoff circles. Parking is an absolute nightmare at this place. There’s even a huge lot right out front that has been closed off because they’re apparently turning it into a town square?? It doesn’t make much sense to build more stores and restaurants, but less parking when the Sport Stable parking situation is already so bad. People are often carrying a lot of heavy equipment to and from your facility. Think this through a little better as you continue construction, please.

So with this whole pandemic it blows me away that they only allow 1 parent per kid to watch games or events like the combine but the restaurant is packed with people, how does that make sense? Earlier in the pandemic, last year, we could not even go in to watch them play, but the bar was packed with parents watching their kids play on livebarn. If there is 30-40 kids on the ice, even with 2 parents per kid that is less than 50% of the seats full in the west rink. Ridiculous rules. Of course I'm sure they will say it's Boulder County Heath's rules or something to that effect. Oh and hockey games are super spreader events.

Thanks for your email.  As you would expect, RMHL has no alternative but to comply with federal, state and local laws and executive orders with regard to various safety measures in place as a result of COVID-19.  Currently, Governor Polis has issued an order requiring that any person over age 10 must wear a covering over their noses and mouths when entering or moving within any public indoor space.  Obviously, a hockey rink qualifies as a public indoor space and RMHL has no alternative but to advise players they must comply with this order.  If you choose not to comply with the state’s guidance, you may be banned from entering the facility or playing in games.  Your decision will not result in RMHL offering a refund for games in which you elect not to participate.  Like you, small business owners, such as RMHL, are bearing significant burdens as a result of the frequently changing guidance from federal, state and local authorities.  We appreciate your understanding during these trying times, and we look forward to a return to some sort of normalcy, hopefully sooner rather than later.  In the meantime, we wish you and your families good health and safety.

We were long time camp goers but just recently had an inappropriate experience at their camp with our kids. We believe the issue was handled poorly , leaving my child embarrassed. We decided to not return after only going 2 days ( we paid up front for 4 months!) & I asked for a partial refund- after a month of no resolve, I was told it is not their policy .My mistake for missing that but it does not take away from horrible customer service. This is what a sports facility should be like. Great sound system and dj. Leather stadium seating. A huge complex, just follow the signs. Ice rink not too cold. Substantial heating system. Just a great place for ice hockey. There was also basketball going on. I imagine it's just as nice.

Never seen a sports complex like this before. We went there right after landing to get a workout in at the CrossFit gym. It's so much more than I imagined. The area is lucky to have a complex like this were you can virtually find any sport inside. They also had physical therapy and more.

Love the Sport Stable! The staff are all great and the facility is always clean and comfortable. And they have a Frozen Yogurt vending machine that is so good! You definitely have to try the FroYo!

Great complex, they really planned it out well. Spectator bathrooms were spacious and clean. Love having a bar and restaurant attached, makes it easier to enjoy an all-day hockey tournament.
