Loving my experience with Carbon Strength and Conditioning. The thing that drew me to the gym was the workouts... Strength and lifting focus, but with just enough Cardio to get the heart rate up and a good sweat going by the time you leave for the day.
Additionally, I appreciate that Cole is quick to work with you to know what restrictions or limitations one may have and offer up alternate lifts or workouts to still achieve a good workout while supporting rehab.
The other thing that i enjoy is the social aspect of the gym. There is a great sense of community and camaraderie at every class (time slot) that i've attended.
Lastly, you see results. Which is the most important thing!

I can’t say enough positive things about Carbon Strength! The gym atmosphere is welcoming and motivating. The trainers are all friendly and model each movement so everyone is on the same page during the workouts. The community makes working out fun and I look forward to going to the classes. LOVE Carbon!!! I’ve been lifting weights for years but this is the first time I can see a significant change in my strength all while being injury free and moving well. The 6 week cycles are great for progressive overload but also keep it fun by mixing up the movements. And there is still an element of a burner at the end, for those that have a love/ hate relationship with cardio/conditioning. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, and there are all fitness levels. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rad gym to spend an hour of your day!!

One of the best strength gyms in the Denver area! I was a CrossFitter for almost 10 years, but eventually my body couldn’t take the volume. I love how the programming at Carbon develops strength, mobility and conditioning without causing injuries. Within 2 months of joining here, my strength had noticeably increased but more importantly all of my health metrics (HRV, resting heart rate, VO2 Max, cardio recovery) had drastically improved. Carbon Strength & Conditioning offers a solid all-around gym experience. The facility is spacious and well-equipped, featuring everything from free weights and squat racks to modern cardio machines and a functional training area.

Hands down, the best place to train. The Carbon crew has been welcoming and motivating to push me towards my fitness journey. Cole (the owner) and his team of coaches here are absolutely incredible—knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping everyone improve.

Highly recommend Carbon Strength & Conditioning! The owner, Cole, and members are super welcoming, and the whole place has a great vibe.
The workouts are really well put together—everything has a purpose, and you always get a good warm-up, solid strength work, and a proper cool-down. Squat days, start with mobility and activation drills, then move into smart, challenging strength work, and finish with a cool-down to help with recovery.
As a newcomer, I felt very welcome and supported. Class sizes were small and personable. The coach was able to provide 1-on-1 instruction. It had all the highlights of personal training but in a group environment.

If there ever was a person allergic to the gym and “gym culture” that would 100% be me. But as years keep going by, it becomes so easy to ignore your physical and mental health while prioritizing everything except ourselves. After researching every local (and not so local) option and feeling a bit frustrated I decided to give Cole at Carbon Strength a shot. All I can say is I’m hooked. Small groups, individual assistance, and most importantly, a feeling of family and community that I had never experienced in the gym world. Is it scary? Yep. Is it hard? Yep. Challenging? Yep. Is it incredibly rewarding and fun? Heck yeah it is. Highly recommend.

The workouts are challenging, with a great balance between strength and conditioning. Every session pushes me to my limits, but in a way that feels achievable with the right effort. I've been going to Carbon Strength & Conditioning for the past 3 months, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and always accommodating, especially when it comes to helping members with injuries. While I haven’t personally needed modifications, I’ve seen the coaches come up with alternative exercises for others, making sure everyone gets a safe and effective workout.
The class sizes are perfect—no more than 16 people—so you get personalized attention while still enjoying the energy of the group. Booking classes is super easy through their app, and they offer a wide range of times to fit different schedules. The atmosphere is welcoming, supportive, and motivating.
The gym is well-equipped with everything you need, from a great selection of free weights to conditioning equipment like bikes, rowers, and jump ropes. They even have a space out back for running, which adds variety to the workouts. After 3 months of going 3 times a week, I’ve seen significant progress. If you’re looking for a gym with a fantastic community and knowledgeable coaches, I highly recommend Carbon Strength & Conditioning!

I am rehabbing my foot from a Jones fracture back in January. While my balance is still off, I can safely say he considers any deficiencies people may have and adjusts the exercises based off of those. I can feel both my strength and endurance improving.

Single best gym I’ve ever been a part of.
1. Workouts - For someone like me that doesn’t do anything special other then showing up 2X/week, I’ve experienced massive strength results. I’m able to lift 3X the weight I lifted when I started 3 months ago, feel a lot more confident, and actually enjoy it. The hour flies by!
2. Cole - The owner/coach cares about your goals, needs, and genuinely wants to do whatever it takes to get you where you want to be. He has such a passion for fitness/people and it’s a testament to the success of what he has built here at Carbon.
3. Community - everyone knows each other’s name. The people here are amazing, friendly, motivating, and genuinely care about those around them. I’ve never seen a gym able to pull off this level of community like Carbon has.

This gym works so well for me, after trying a lot of other ways to get in shape and get strong.
I've been going for about 8 weeks now and this has been the most consistent, and effective, I have ever been in lifting weights and building strength in my life. What I love about this gym is that the focus isn't becoming a meathead muscle bound person. It's functional strength, flexibility, and conditioning. It's like the best parts of Crossfit without the negatives sides of it.
I have about $3,000 worth of weight lifting equipment that I have bought over the years. But I just wasn't using it despite it being in my house. Two things are really working for me about Carbon Strength and Conditioning:
1. I commit to going each day in the app, with a reservation for a limited space. This makes me want to keep my commitments and be a good community member, and
2. I have a time each day that I need to show up. When I tried to work out at home I'd keep pushing it off saying I would work out later. With me going to the noon class I either went at that time, or I didn't. It has helped me not procrastinate.
And it really helps that I am working out with other people, with a program that I don't have to make. When I work out at home I don't go hard. I get lazy and give up quickly. But I am trying to just finish each workout with good effort at Carbon, and that is really working for me.
Come join us. We have some incredibly strong people (hi firefighter AJ!) and people across the physical fitness spectrum. It's a welcoming environment and Cole and Laney are great. It has given me more confidence, as I've really beaten myself up mentally over the years from my lack of action in becoming more physically fit. And that confidence has spilled over into other aspects of life. Come get strong with us and strive for fitness for life.

Carbon Strength has been the most effective and fun workouts I've done in a long time. Carbon takes the guess work out of planning a workout and Cole does a great job at modifying specific workouts that help build strength for my current injuries. The space is always clean, organized and most importantly inviting. I just show up and put in the work. What I really appreciate about this gym is the diverse range of workouts that break away from the same old routines I've stuck to for years (while still hitting all the muscle groups). Learning new exercises and nailing down good form can be a bit intimidating, but Coach Cole's guidance has been key in overcoming these challenges. His expertise not only eases the intimidation of a new routine but also ensures optimal gains through constructive feedback and little tweaks to form. As someone who has been to a number of gyms (you would never guess from my fitness level) this place is great! The layout is well thought out which allows the coach to be able to see all members of the class at the same time, and therefore give a lot of one-on-one attention.
The gym and the equipment are all new. The main coach Cole, has been coaching for years and it is readily apparent. I would say the gym takes inspiration from both CrossFit and traditional lifting environments but is more inviting and less intimidating than a CrossFit gym can sometimes have.
If fitness isn't your thing the front has a nice hangout area and a ping pong table!
