BE AWARE!!! There is a guy that SA his own daughter that goes to that gym for open gym who stays and watches other kids that aren’t his own. The office knows and won’t ban him. Safety is supposed to be their number one priority but seems to be falling short. Just be aware!!

My girls love their classes and every single interaction I’ve had with the front desk has been incredibly pleasant. They’ve always made sure to help me as much as possible, I talked to Lisa today and she was super helpful and kind.

We been here for over two years and they are great! Teachers are very nice, knowledgeable and challenges my daughter in a good and thoughtful way. Great communication through the emails and essay to schedule the make ups. My daughter is excited to go there every time!

While I like that they give the option to try and reschedule a class that was canceled by them (Halloween), it’s almost impossible to actually get rescheduled, the classes are extremely expensive, and they refuse to offer an reimbursement. Very frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your kids here if you have the option of going elsewhere.

I have 2 kids 4 and 6 years old, we just started coming here about a month ago. For some reference the only other gymnastics we’ve tried is The Little Gym. We’ve been really happy with this place, the classes are small - 8 kids with 2 coaches. My kids absolutely love coming here, every time we leave they say “gymnastics forever!” And ask when we will come back. The coaches seem really attentive and they give lots of 1:1 attention throughout the classes. It’s been really great so far, I’ve recommended it to close friends.

The place is good, but the parents and parking make it a bit of a stress point. To be honest, the parents might be stressed themselves about parking and the condition of the parking lot, which is in very very poor condition with what appears to be zero attempts to fix. Almost everyone is rude, with few exceptions. Makes it tough to want to go.

DON’T TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!! My daughter went to this gym for 8 years and was terrific up until the new owners took over, they are clueless as to how to run this business and money grabbing is all they care about. The teams are WAY too big, 22 gymnasts per team with one or two coaches which doesn’t allow for enough proper training to develop skills for the next levels. The owners keep putting their kids in as coaches who have no clue at all how to coach when they are short on staff and are totally rude. coaches keep quitting because there’s WAY too much stress and responsibility having a limited number of coaches training multiple teams at the same time, some of the new coaches recently hired are just terrible and have no skills or aptitude for teaching anyone, anything. The number of injuries and SERIOUS INJURIES have dramatically increased all due to the before mentioned issues. The really good coaches are all quitting this clown show. This could be a great gym and very competitive teams if only the owners had a freakin clue what they are doing, maybe they need to hire someone to run the gym for them and teach them how run this gym correctly, I could do it better

this place is now apparently called chameleon castle gymnastics, the owners consolidated two gymnastics businesses into one gym, which makes it super crowded and the coach to gymnastic ratio is way to high to be safe, The gym pre/covid had a good reputation, when the had two very established Ukranian coaches, who the owner fired about a year and a half ago. and since then they have been struggling to hire coaches that are qualified and stick around, So beware that any past reviews are based on having two gym buildings and the old coaches. We went in there when we recently moved here from Nevada, talked to a lady who seemed to be the owner, she was very rude and unprofessional- and after looking at the condition of the gym and how crowded it was and the lack of coaching staff, we decided to not even have our daughter join the competition team. Thankfully, we just met a neighbor down the street who let us know about the gym in Littleton called Incline if you're daughter is doing JO competition gymnastics that is the place to go , it is only 25 minutes from castle rock/ since we got there we found out that there are at least 15 other families from castle rock going there because they very unhappy with chameleon castle rock gymnastics , it is too bad because we only moved here a few weeks ago and we really like the town of castle rock and wanted to support the local business- but can't do it in this case

Most unfriendly place ever. I stopped by the shop to see if they have anything gym clothes for my 2 year old and the women picked up the phone has a poor manner and should not be in customer service, after she confined that they do sell size 2T I drove out of my way to their store, and discovered the smaller size is 3-4. When I walked in the store no one talked to me, everyone is just chatting with their friends, and greeting once so ever. When I asked about sizing she said “just have your daughter try it on is she here?” I answered no and she just looked at me. No No No! My daughter is going to Peak Athletic and no we are not interested in your poor quality service. No wonder why the review is so low. Do yourself a favor and go to a different facility, just because you live in castle rock does not mean you should come to this place. If the store has such a poor manner I can only imagine how the dance programs are. Terrible experience.

terrible gym! it is disorginized and just plain filthy! Sure they have nice quitment but the coaches were rude and disrespectful towards my child and they said she had no change of moving up and that she sucked and Lazlo said he had given up on her and she is not worth his time. They need better coaches that know what thir doing and need nicer kids and coaches!

My 5year old has attended the preschool open gym on Friday mornings since he was 3. He loves it and the staff are so friendly and he has a blast. The open gym is organized but not as structured as a regular class but it is a great deal if you buy the punch card pass. Parents can stay and watch or run an errand.

I've had my kids at Castle Rock School of Gymnastics for nearly two years. (There was a change of ownership at some point, but we've never had any trouble.) We are very happy with the coaches and the classes. I have seen significant growth in each of my kids and they look forward to attending class each week. The parking lot and waiting areas get very busy, especially during drop off and pick up times. I also hosted a birthday party here earlier this year and it was a big success. Recommend!

I thought I would check and see if my review and others were still here. Most of the negative have been pulled. Go to yelp to see more of what was pulled from here. My review was posted 4 years ago. I see more recent post in 2017 have shown the owner just doesn't get it. She has to be the rudest business owner I have every met. We had two very bad interactions with the owner and her mom. One was how we were treated while in line to pay for open gym. She grabbed our card out of my hand rolled her eyes when I had asked about paying with my card. The second one happened when I voiced a concern about her boys class. They were not teaching them much. I was a gymnast and understand learning the fundamentals. I also mentioned to her it would be nice if they worked on other things like a combination for example, and didn't spend the last 5 minutes jumping in the pit. I also let her know that open gym needed more supervision. kids were cross running and there were not enough eyes on them. The first time or son did open gym he was kicked in the face by a girl who traveled on one of her combos. My son had a bloody nose. Once again she rolled her eyes and was very rude. She snapped at me and could not handle constructive criticism. I told her other parents felt the same and she got mad that people were talking about her and the gym. I told her were thinking about canceling and she said good. So we quit. She did not refund us for unused open gym. I was stunned how many people had similar encounters here and on other review sites. I am curious why some have been removed. Here on google they look mostly positive. Something has happened that many of those post are gone. She is a negatively charged person and it translates into how she runs her business. Her practice of rolling her eyes is simply abhorrent. If you have a concern or point something out should be addressed she gets combative instead of having the skill sets to stop and listen. It is just who she is. It's in her DNA. Not a fan of this place. Maybe she sold recently and there is a new owner. When I was there to me it was one big accident waiting to happen. Wish I would never have paid her any money. She didn't earn it. Same goes for respect.

DELAYED UPDATE While the following scenario was our experience last year: “Our family was not happy with the gymnastics experience at this gym. The young coach did not seem to care about the girls, exhibited unprofessionalism and she was publicly degrading to our children in front of other families. We will not return nor recommend this gymnastics school to our friends.”
We have increased our rating based upon the professionalism and true caring and concern of the owner. I want to commend the owner for taking the time to personally contact me and apologize. She was unaware of our experience until this review. It should be noted that, at the time of the negative situation, we did speak to multiple staff persons without any resolution. However, the owner is engaged and stated she is personally committed to changing the level of customer service of her team. Based upon current ratings, I think Chameleon has really changed. Give them a try!!

If I could give them a zero I would. If your child has any special needs don’t take your child here. Coach Courtney literally said my som wasn’t welcome, and their admin staff is terrible at getting people in the right class. Different teachers every week, a bunch of kids as teachers. Don’t advertise that you take care of kids with special needs because you don’t and your admin staff doesn’t get it. Just awful!!

Our four kids have all taken classes at Chameleon at various times over the years and all of them enjoyed their experiences there. One of our daughters pursued gymnastics competitively for a few years and really had a wonderful time developing her skills while at Chameleon. This is a great family-owned business with people who really do care about the kids in their programs. The owner, Sharon, is very available and always willing to listen and address any concerns. She has a wonderful heart for the kids and that clearly carries over into the staff she brings on board. I would highly recommend checking them out!

Chameleon isn't just a gymnastics gym- but it is a family! My daughter has found wonderful, sweet friends, has had incredible coaches that push her out of comfort zone and help her to reach new heights- time and time again, Chameleon has a staff that cares not just about gymnastics- but about helping to raise kids to be well-rounded, independent, courageous and kind humans that make a difference in the world. My daughter is on team and her love for the sport has only grown since she started- and her belief in herself and abilities continues to grow with each practice! She is strong both physically and mentally since starting at Chameleon!

My 7 year old son has been going to Chameleon for only a few months. The improvement he has demonstrated in gymnastics, in school, and in his other activites has been remarkable. After frustrating experiences with self defense, soccer, and skiing, we had never considered gymnastics. If he couldn't focus or follow directions in the sports we grew up loving, how on earth would he do so in gymnastics? But, after a few phone calls to the accommodating staff, I got to meet with the owner Sharon. She described how gymnastics was great for all kids .... not just those who wanted to compete. When I worried that my son might be overwhelmed by older kids or more experienced kids, Sharon assured me that they would put my kid in an age appropriate and level appropriate class. She knew kids who were once uncoordinated and after time in gymnastics developed into better athletes in gymnastics and in other sports too. And one of those kids was my son's instructor/coach. He and the other coaches and staff have become like family to us. Now that our daughter is there, I feel this even more. Chameleon has been a such a great experience. Exceeded my expectations ever time.

My family has been a part of Chameleon since they opened their doors, several years ago (has it really been over 6 years already?). My kids started in the tots tumbling class and over the years have been a part of their recreational gymnastics, parkour and competitive gymnastics programs. We love it here, the coaches are amazing and we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Sharon for providing such a great place!

My family loves Chameleon Gymnastics. The coaches are always super professional, and I've never really been to a better gym. Other gyms put kids in too high of a level and the kids don't thrive and burnout. Here they make sure they have all of the skills perfectly in each level before they can move up. To me this is the best method and it's also the safest. This way I know my kids are being taken care of and they are also being real with my kids. I won't ever go anywhere else after finding Chameleon.

I would never ever recommend this place it to anybody. It is shocking how rude this owner is to her own costumers who want to invest in her good business and pay her money. My daughter gave up all her sleepovers and parties to go to open gym for a year. She worked her butt off and after my husband and I invest probably 4 thousand dollars on her camps, open gyms, classes, and leotards. Every time we would sign up for something she would smirk or roll her eyes. I was thinking, wait we are the costumers, we pay your bills, we are the ones giving you money, and you are angry and rude with us this doesn't make sense. So I keep thinking, my daughter loves this sport ever since she started it and has made some friends here and keeps gain skills because she is so retimed to get on team (competitive gymnastics). So, after try outs came, she has every single skill expect for 1 and her best friend that tried out for the same level, they both had a injury 2 weeks before, but her best friend was younger then her when she tried out. Her friend got on team and my daughter never made after they saw all the hard work she put in. She never ever missed a open gym ever since she stared gymnastics, she put in 1,000% percent every single time she was in the gym. For christmas, she asked for mat and practiced her back handspring numerous times, on the day of the try outs she went up to the park and practiced that skill she didn't have for hours. So on her way out of the gym crying after all the younger girls got on team that didn't have at least 3 skills, the owner just smirked. The owner only wanted young girls because she figured that they would grow up and have more years at the gym until they get to high school and they would invest more money. This destroyed her love for gymnastics and couldn't even show up and get out of the car for gymnastics with out crying. I will never spend an other penny here ever in my life time and hope you will never too. This place makes me sick on how the owner only cares about money. It still blows my mind how evil somebody can be without feeling bad. I would never come here for gymnastics it will be a big mistake.

I can't even give this place a star. The owner has no idea what true customer service is. I complained to her that the boys after a year were not really learning much. They couldn't even do a decent cartwheel. Some core stuff and screwing around the last 10 minutes of every class. The owner instead of taking the standard, "I'm sorry you feel that way - What can we do do improve" customer approach became agitated and more concerned that we and other parents were talking about her business behind her back. She became extremely combative and rude. My wife and I observed she seemed to roll her eyes and sneer a lot as well. Not once in a year did she approach us and ask how everything is going. My wife on one occasion stood in a long line to pay for one day of open gym on a Friday. The owner lifted my wife's credit card in the air and said, "is this all you want" referring to the option to pay for a punch card which my wife did not want. Instead of a THANK YOU for your business we appreciate it, she got her credit card waved in the air in front of other parents in line. This women definitely needs a lesson in customer service. I am sad we wasted our money here. I wanted to make sure I was correct with where our son should be. There was not enough repetitive practice. I called friends that have kids at 5280 and Tiger Gymnastic to see how far along a boy should be his first year. They both were surprised how far behind the curve they were. The boys rarely got anytime on the large floor to learn basic combinations after a YEAR! There are a lot more girls to boys but there was no balance. It felt like the boys group was second fiddle to the girls. Also open gym can be very chaotic. When there are a lot of kids collisions occur from children not looking and getting hit by others performing trick. Jumping off the roped into the pit can be very dangerous as well. It takes one kid not looking, jumping and landing on the neck of another. I think people who thinks this a great place would be blown away when they actually visit or put their child in a great place. We also had paid for one more class but we decided we wanted nothing to do with this place. Instead of giving us a refund even though it is against their policy the owner said we could use our credit for open gym and then told me she did not want us coming into her business because we were talking about it and she didn't like that. So if we got a credit but could not use it. A normal person would just say I will credit you card and move on from there. The sad thing is I hope this helps her become a better owner and person. I don't think she is aware what she has become. I have noticed a pattern of reviews here. Of course I'm guessing after I write this she or someone there will write review on how great they are. I noticed this from the other poor reviews followed reviews claiming this place is better than heaven. Don't be fooled! This was a less than positive experience. The facility may look good but when you strip back the layers there are some serious deficiencies that really need addressed. If you love what you do it should come through in your personality. Not here. Cold as ice.

Stay away from the "owner"! Seriously, if Benito Mussolini was a woman and owned a gymnastics studio, this would be her.
She leaves rude messages on your phone telling you what to pay her, and by when. I had to dis-enroll my youngest daughter because one of the staff was being mean to her and physically kicking her. When I explained why my daughter was no longer in class, she said no one informed her. I repeated that I called them and asked her to be removed and she said that she has no record of that, and can't take my word for it, because "parents lie to me all the time." Then she started getting in my face and became very verbally hostile. I told her she needs to have someone else interface with the customers because she is really lacking those skills. Then she got REALLY mad at me and kicked both my daughters out of her school. Then, she found out who my girlfriend's kids are (they have both been enrolled for several months), and she kicked THEM out too! All because she was mad at me. She is hostile, abusive and retributive. I encourage you to look on other review sites, and you will see similar reviews from other parents.
Most of the staff are good. One teacher (a young blonde lady) enjoys kicking the kids around and making them cry. Three of our four children complained separately about the same teacher, with different things (she squeezes me too hard, she gets me in trouble, she pushed me over at the wrong time and I fell hard). We discussed this teacher with the people a the desk on a separate occasion, and they defended her, saying how nice she is. No resolution there. I suspect she's related to the owner, or something. The other teachers all seem great.

How anyone could give this company more than 1 star is unbelievable. The owner is the rudest person (not to mention business owner) I have ever met and treats customers like she doesn't need them. Additionally, I had my son in a class several months ago and witnessed a coach "handle" a child in a manner that was completely appalling and when I notified the person at the front desk, she seemed to be more bothered by my bringing it to her attention than solving the problem. I would consider any other gym before this one, unless you like being verbally abused every time you have contact with the owner.

I just got off the phone with the owner canceling my daughters classes.... The "Owner" (older one) is absolutely out of her mind. I don't think it is worth talking to someone in a business manner when they want to bombard you with personal issues. Let me know when it is under new ownership. Don't go there! Notice the only two nice comments on these reviews are by the same person.
