Welcome to Catacombs, Durango's fitness community. We are a strength and conditioning gym focused on improving the lives of our members through fitness. We offer private training and group fitness classes for all abilities and goals. Whether you need to lose weight, manage stress or improve your fitness for life outside the gym, we want to be your home base.

Today I was able to do lunges without holding on to something for support. A first since my injury in 2021. I want to thank Kelsey and all the coaches at Catacombs who have been supportive and encouraging. Kelsey is so knowledgeable around mobility issues and adapting exercises based on where you are at. I cried lots (2x - good cries - smile) with Kelsey when I struggling to connect my brain and body. To build strength after an injury is so challenging as there is a disconnect. Kelsey said I could improve my proprioception, and she was right. It will never be 100% but building strength is the key. Thank you, Catacomb Coaches! I am deeply grateful.

I’ve been going to Linda’s M-W-F class for almost a year now and I can honestly say what she has created is truly unique! Her classes are specific to what women need and she also makes the workouts fun. I am always learning new moves and notice doing everyday life (gardening, house stuff, moving, etc) is easier and more doable. If you’re a lady looking for a great community, a wonderful coach, and an amazing workout, this class is definitely for you!!

Will and the entire team at Catacomb Fitness are fantastic. The atmosphere in the gym is open and supportive, no outsized egos. I have been made to feel welcomed and connected and receive nothing but support and encouragement in pursuit of my goals. Will coaches and encourages through the process (I schedule him one-on-one three days a week). He focuses on teaching proper technique, and is always prepared with workouts that will allow me to progress and is always encouraging. As I have gotten to know the staff I don’t think there is one who wouldn’t do a great job. If you do the work the staff will make sure that you make progress and have fun in the process.

KMac is so good at watching and coaching at a very detailed level. I do my exercises as mindfully and accurately as I can, and yet, she is always able to optimize my positioning or technique to get the most out of the exercises. I also give extra kudos to her and Catacombs for insisting on keeping class sizes manageable, so that the coaches can really watch all of us in order to prevent injury and create success. Kmac is also excellent on running a tight class from a timing standpoint.
I also appreciate the variety and novelty of the exercises and how each set and subset compliments each other.
This gym is brilliant and I highly recommend it to all of my friends. And it’s a compliment to all of the coaches because they are insistent upon high-quality exercise and participation. I so appreciate Catacombs!

I absolutely love Catacombs, this is my idea of a great place to keep fit mentally, physically & spiritually. These guys make you feel good from the inside out. The workouts change everyday so you are never bored but challenged. The classes are limited so that the qualified/certified Coaches can assist, give that personal feedback, coaching. Ensure that you are working the muscles correctly, avoid any injuries & get stronger. Who does not want that? Sure there were a couple (maybe "several") exercises that were too much for me, that's ok. Do what you can but the Coaches can also give options to work the same muscles in another way. I've been going to CFC for about 2 years now, and I can't say enough great things about the coaches and facility! The coaches are extremely professional and personal, and they know each athlete and have extreme awareness of any injuries that an athlete is working through. I've had injuries from childhood that made it difficult to do certain movements, but every one of the coaches were hyperaware of my situations and always giving me advice. I've finally overcome so many of these injuries due to the consistency and diligence that CFC has as a whole. Highly recommend this box for any drop in's or making this your home gym!

CFC is an incredible environment full of coaches dedicated to your fitness and athletes that care for one another. Our family travels quite a bit and we review yelp, Facebook, and google reviews looking for the right gyms to drop in on. I've been working out at CFC for a year and a half.. it's been nothing short of a great experience! Class attendance is capped which keeps classes small and allows the coaches to spend time with each athlete. Also, their coaching style is with the outdoor athlete in mind (balances strength and endurance) which is perfect for living in Durango.

Tracie and her entire team of incredible coaches do an amazing and consistent job of providing an exceptional CrossFit experience. The basics are all there, of course: great programming, high quality equipment, and a super clean facility. But I feel what makes the Catacombs truly special is the amazing coaching.
Supportive and challenging, each coach takes the time to build a genuine connection with each client. Every coach brings a TON of positive energy to the gym every day, inspiring better performance in all areas of my life -- not just the workouts. There is no "second string" here on the coaching staff -- everyone is top notch.
Durango is truly fortunate to have the Catacombs. It takes a huge amount of willpower, character, and commitment to build a business like this one, and Tracie has brought all of those qualities and more to her gym.
Going to the Catacombs is always a high point of my day, and the time I have invested there has paid some huge dividends in my life. If you have been thinking about CrossFit and you are looking for a welcoming community to help you get started, this is it.

I got to drop in twice while visiting family over the holidays and I can't say enough good things about this place. The space is small but it's very well organized, well equipped and very well run. The coaches are incredible friendly and attentive, making sure everyone understands the wod and movements and keeping an eye on each athlete all the way throughout. The community is very warm and welcoming to newbies and drop ins. And both of the WODs I went to were ridiculously fun (even if I could barely breathe at altitude). I absolutely recommend CFC whether you're looking for a home gym in Durango or just passing through.

In Durango for the weekend, and wanted drop in for a WOD. Super glad that I picked this spot! Taylor was super helpful and class was very welcoming. I'll be back! And it was super clean. Gotta love those "Nasty Girls!"
