I took a HITT class with Jim Honiotes this morning and it was one of my favorite group fitness classes. He was so welcoming and gave a killer workout with great energy! He greeted every participant and made an effort to create a fun and engaging class. Highly recommend his classes to anyone wanting to challenge themselves!

Love this place! It’s a little pricey but it’s clean, weights are always racked, no grunting gym bros slamming weights. 😂 Personal training with Soren is the BEST! He always encourages me to go beyond, which is what I need/why I pay for it! 💪 Zumba with Tonya is excellent! 💃🏻 🕺🏻

Me and my family were treated so good at this place. We came to buy a guest pass to check out the services and we were given a three day access to come anytime for three days and everybody treated us so kindly. We didn’t drive up in a Mercedes and we weren’t wearing fancy things we’re just a couple of regular people with regular jobs and they were treated like you were millionaires. I mean, what else would you want?

I joined Club Greenwood in June and never looked back. They have all of the equipment I want and excellent amenities. I've been working with personal trainer Hunter Faber and he has helped me get on the right track to reach my goals with coaching and my workouts. I'm truly grateful for everything this club has to offer.

IDK why they walk anyone through the basketball court or show them the speed and performance studios that connect to them, because they're rarely available due to their daycare during the summer. You won't find anything about the daycare using the courts on the schedule, outside of 1.5 hrs of "mini camp", and that's by design, but make no mistake, if members are playing when the kids who run it feel like bringing them in, they simply tell everyone to move.

You'd think after 40 years, they'd have a plan for activities with the kids that don't involve eating up the basketball courts, training studios and pool, but they don't... If you're thinking about signing up to shoot hoops with your kids, or swim at the outdoor pool, don't bother, especially if you're planning on going on the weekend. As it stands, there's an Adidas sponsored team that does private training sessions in the gym, but they use one hoop and everyone loves them because they're courteous and they're training kids in, or going to, D1 programs on scholarships. They're a net positive to the club, but now they've added speed training (it appears), but I'm guessing that guy gets fed up with not having space and finds elsewhere to go as well. Once you spend a few seconds thinking about it, you realize the daycare monopolizes half of the court to avoid taking the kids outside, despite there being a giant park with direct access via footpath, from the club... If you're expecting your kids to spend the summer playing outside, during their "summer camp, womp, womp!!! They're at the basketball courts coloring, watching the employees shoot hoops, or just sitting and talking. IMO, I don't think the kids who work there are overly interested in being outside.

We've asked them to put the times the daycare will be eating up half the court on the schedule for years now, but they honestly never will. They used to only use it for "inclement weather", but that began including it being "too hot" (in June) a couple years ago and now everyday. There's 3 days per week for 2 hours it's guaranteed they aren't there and that's during the pickup games, which means you're still not shooting hoops unless you want to play pickup. That said, the pickup guys may be the smartest of all of us because most of them just pay a member for guest passes and save themselves $170/mo in membership dues...

See, nobody would take exception to the issues outlined above if we weren't paying $250+/person for a membership... Last word of advice, don't sign your kids up as members, unless they're going daily. If you find out they're not going to be using a membership, the club will not only not refund you for the unused memberships, they won't credit you for them. If you have teens/tweens who say they'll go, my gut says you're just spending an extra couple grand to find out you could've spent less than $60/mo on guest passes for them.

The big problem appears to stem from the firing of their gm several years ago, and never hiring a new gm, but just spreading the duties around. This means that things that need the most attention get missed. In all honesty, the basketball court itself is in terrible condition. There are dead spots all over the floor, visible gaps around the edges, rims that need to be replaced, but the floor is worse than most public schools. Additionally, the floors are never swept or cleaned. After two weeks of seeing blood spots on the floor (I'm assuming were the result of an elbow during a pickup game), I went and got a wipe to clean it up myself.

I could go on about the showers, water pressure, etc... Bottom line, they'll sell you what appears to be a higher end gym experience, but if you actually want to use the membership, you'll begin to see the cracks very quickly. If they decide to start delivering the experience we're paying for, I'll update the review, but based on the years of members having similar complaints, I don't anticipate having to do so, if I decide to renew another year. Pics are obviously from separate days

Hunter Faber is an incredible and knowledgeable personal trainer that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to take their fitness seriously. From day one, he’s been amazing at teaching me how to properly use the gym’s various machines and free weights, which has really boosted my confidence and results.

What truly sets Hunter apart is his ability to hold me accountable in a way that feels both encouraging and motivating. He consistently helps me stay on track with my health and fitness goals, and I genuinely look forward to each session.

If you're looking for a trainer who’s not only skilled but also genuinely invested in your progress, Hunter is the best!

Greenwood has been a fantastic place for our whole family!
I have been working out with Hunter Faber and he has been an incredible personal trainer! He’s helped me reach my fitness goals, given me great nutrition guidance, and always checks in to keep me on track. What really sets him apart is how he’s gone above and beyond to connect me with a community of people who share the same goals. He’s helped bring us together, and now we support and push each other thanks to him. I’ve never felt more motivated or supported, highly recommend!

Greenwood is an awesome fitness club! Our entire family enjoys going here and we will for years. There are 4 pools (1 indoor & 3 outdoor) and our family loves the kids pool. The weight room is huge and has every machine/weight needed. The basketball gym is great and huge. My personal favorite is the locker room, as it has tons of space, lots of showers, a steam room and sauna, plus they always have fresh towels. Staff is great and super helpful. Highly recommended!

I wanted to thank Hunter Faber for working with me to hit my nutrition and strength goals. I retired 6 weeks ago and after spending 45 years as a SAS programmer; I have a lot of work to do to build my core to hit my goal of playing tennis until 100 years old. It is obvious to me that Hunter is an expert in his field and I feel luck to have his guidance.

Hunter Faber is not only an amazing personal trainer, but also one of the most friendly and approachable people I’ve met at Greenwood Club. He creates an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating progress. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his clients and wants them to succeed both in and out of the gym. Highly recommend him if you want real results and a trainer who genuinely cares.

Visited to check it out and take my son to the pool. Was disappointed in how outdated their gym equipment is. The pools are mediocre, but fine if you are looking to do laps. The price for a day pass is ridiculous and the crowd is, exactly what you would expect. However, the staff was kind. I will not be visiting again.

Personal Training - I have had the distinct privilege of being a client of Hunter’s for over one year and I can easily state that Hunter represents his profession with the highest degree of professionalism, leadership, knowledge and skill. I really appreciate how he tailors each of his training sessions to the individual client so they can meet their personal health and fitness goals. One must meet him to truly appreciate the depth of his knowledge, reliability, commitment and overall positive attitude. Good gym, extremely frustrating cancellation policy. My wife and I loved going here and enjoyed having most of the fitness classes included in the price. Very clean and nice amenities. However, we had to move out of state and despite knowing this for months and talking to various staff members about it in casual conversation nobody mentioned the cancellation policy. We cancelled 3 weeks in advance of our last day in CO, but were told we’d be charged another month after leaving because they need 4wks notice. If the policy was more clear we would have notified them of the cancellation date last fall. Then, two months later we were charged again! Luckily the second month was able to be refunded because of a mistake on their end, but it should never be this difficult to end a membership somewhere. If someone is cancelling they either A) Are moving B) Can no longer afford it or C) don’t like it. Charging an extra month will piss off all three of those people and benefits only the gym. You’d think they’d benefit more from maintaining a good image with customers in hopes they return rather than squeezing more money out of member’s pockets. I’m left with a poor image of a gym I otherwise would have considered rejoining when I move back to CO in a few years. Hoping this policy will change in the future.

Working with Hunter Faber has been an absolute game-changer. From our very first session, he took the time to really understand my goals and fitness level while integrating dietary changes into my training program. He designed a personalized program that has been both effective and challenging, making every workout something I actually look forward to. Hunter also trains my two children.

What makes Hunter exceptional is his knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, training techniques, diet, and how to effectively and thoughtfully incorporate these elements into a cohesive and integrated workout program.
Hunter motivates his clients to get the most out of his sessions and push themselves to achieve real results.

I highly recommend Hunter to anyone looking to comprehensively transform their fitness journey.

This place is just okay but there’s much better elsewhere for less. I recommend you go visit both Club Greenwood and any Lifetime Fitness facility also before making your decision, you’ll see what I mean. In my overall observations Lifetime Fitness offers much more and at multiple locations for less. Plus the food at all the cafe’s in Lifetime Fitness is much better than what is available at the cafe at Club Greenwood that will sell you a meal that can feed only a bird at an overpriced cost and Coors Light for you.
The management at Club Greenwood still has vending machines for their employees with coke products, Twix, snickers candy bars etc like some waiting room at your local Walmart tire center and are still pretty much in the dark about any kind of healthy diet.
I recommend checking out any Lifetime Fitness before deciding to spend more for less at Club Greenwood.

Hunter Faber is an excellent trainer. Been working with Hunter for over a year now and it’s been worth every penny and all of the hard work I put in. I’ve never suffered any injuries trying to accomplish any of his exercises. He truly cares about sharing what he knows about nutrition and showing you the right form for exercise moves and in using equipment. Never had lasting results until Hunter helped me realize changing habits in lifestyle makes a difference. For example, I drink coffee black now. Simple. He believes whole heartedly in what he is telling you in both exercise and nutrition. Look forward to learning new things every session. Not pushy, but matter of fact in telling you that you will get what you put in. Very effective if you do what he says.

It’s a great place however I don’t recommend locker room .. why !!! People have no common sense unfortunately there are bad apples everywhere those bad apples, ruin the experience for others . I’m shocked at the The behavior I’m ashamed to say its women like myself it truly is disrespectful disgusting and beyond just not having common sense.
Maybe my standards and respect for others and for public shared spaces is above the norm but the things that I’ve seen at this club in the women’s locker room is so embarrassing in the sense that I’m embarrassed for these people that do these disgusting things . I like the club just don’t like locker room .. it’s like there are no rules in there .. and swimsuits should be implemented. It’s a shame because it’s nice to use sauna and steam room without a bathing suit .. at the moment, you should have a towel around yourself and have another towel to sit on. It’s what I currently do unfortunately not everybody does that and not everybody follows any type of etiquette in these very small spaces ..

Unfortunately there are people that just can’t help themselves and act like animals . To those animals shame on you !!!
FYI, I’m an animal lover and animals do not behave like that so maybe animals was not the right word to use! animals actually behave better than humans in my opinion. .. again, anything outside the locker room is just great. It truly is a great place. The people that work there super nice. Nothing to say about that. Maybe I’m too sensitive??? And of course, animals don’t go into saunas, but what I’m trying to say generally animals behave better than humans..

Club Greenwood stands out as the premier gym club, offering not just top-notch facilities but a sense of community that makes you feel truly at home. The highlight of my week is the Saturday morning basketball and Hunter sessions (training with my personal trainer, Hunter).

Hunter is an exceptional personal trainer whose expertise transcends mere physical training and diet advice. His approach to fitness is holistic, focusing equally on the body and mind. What truly distinguishes Hunter is his dedication and care. His attentiveness during our sessions ensures that I perform each exercise correctly, maximizing effectiveness while minimizing the risk of injury. This personalized attention has transformed our sessions into something I eagerly look forward to, making them both productive and enjoyable.

Hunter's commitment to my well-being extends beyond our scheduled meetings. He regularly checks in to offer guidance, motivate, and keep me aligned with my fitness and dietary goals. This level of support is rare and has been crucial in keeping me focused, especially during challenging times.

I wholeheartedly recommend Hunter to both new and existing members of Club Greenwood. Whether you're looking to make a physical transformation or seeking a more profound change in your life, Hunter's expertise and support are invaluable assets on this journey.

Club Greenwood is more than just a gym; it's a community where you're encouraged, supported, and motivated.

Club Greenwood is by far the best health club I have ever belonged to. I have been a member for a year and a half and have been working out with Hunter Faber for about 6 months. Ever since I started training with Hunter, I have seen almost immediate results. His knowledge of the human body is unlike any personal trainer I have met. Not only has he helped my training immensely in the weight room, but he helped me clean up my nutrition and helped me see results I could have never accomplished alone. I am in the best shape of my life, in no small part thanks to Hunter’s help. If you are looking for a personal trainer, look no further than Hunter.

The club itself is beyond compare. The facilities are luxurious and enjoyable. The staff are some of the friendliest I have met. Almost everyone knows my wife and I by name. The sense of community from the other members is one of the reasons I continue to renew my membership. Seriously look no further for a new gym if you are considering switching. I cannot recommend this club enough.

Join the club and please pay no attention to the negative reviews. I looked at so many health clubs. Let me tell you club Greenwood, from when I walked in did not make me feel like a transaction. Marcus was very patient with me and answered every question I had. Responded to all my emails. Showed up on time for our tour both times. Yes I had to be sure. I had high expectations especially after having relocated from LA. The club is clean. Ryan was attentive to me during our personal training session and modified the works out as I am still recovering from an injury. Sam! Sam! Sam! wow the reformer pilates guru 🙌🏾will have your muscles speaking in a foreign language. He is amazing. The front desk staff who are so patient with me and literally don’t just point but walk me to the different studios as I am still learning my way around. The people there are kind. They say hello. They are not stand offish. It is such a great community. This place is unique. I am glad I picked them as a location to get back on my heath journey. Don’t get me started on the amenities. We signed up for swim lessons a couple of months ago. My 3 year old cried one time and the coach made a snide comment about me “letting him win” by coming to comfort him. We came for swim lessons, not for opinions on parenting. The goal is for him to like swimming, not be miserable. They also have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy that makes no room for your child getting sick. Since my children can’t magically tell me they’re going to be sick within 24 hours of swim lessons and since Club Greenwood is more concerned about their money than their customers, we will no longer be taking lessons there or recommending them to friends.

I was visiting Club Greenwood as a guest to spectate a tennis match. I approached the desk and noticed no signs or any notices saying visitors who were not using the facilities needed to sign in. So, like other facilities I have been to, I walk past the desk, since there is nothing saying I had to sign in as a spectator. As I walk past the desk, and one of the staff let me know in a nice-ish way that I have to check in. I check in and as I am leaving the desk towards the courts I hear the same staff member audibly talking about me rudely and disrespectfully, and how it was ridiculous that I would somehow not know their policies, DESPITE not having ANY signs saying spectators needed to sign in or check in.

I have only been here once and the facilities they provide seem like they are high quality, but I would rather be at a lower quality facility then be at Club Greenwood where the staff seem happy and very willing to bad mouth visitors.

Pretty solid Club overall. Mostly friendly atmosphere with a light and positive goal in mind for everyone. The men’s locker room is managed perfectly by Francisco and crew. The gym and pool facilities seem to be off limits to members every night. The young folks around the gym are a little into themselves but I guess that’s the age. We were all there once I suppose. Only other remark would be the early hours especially on Friday. Why close early on Friday? It’s a pretty important night for many people to be hitting the gym hard instead of the other club hard.

2nf time posting this because the other is gone for some reason..... I signed up on the phone they let me in countless times. Then one-day these guys came up to and said I had to leave. I asked why they said I didn't do my paperwork. It was extremely embarrassing. Also the person in charge wasn't a manager. Should of just asked me to do my paperwork. Those teenagers or young adults are why I left. I had never payed so much to be so embarrassed. I'll do this every month until it stays. You embarrassed me I get to leave the most honest of reviews. I also still have the video nobody cared to see.

The facility is great but they take advantage of their club members financially. They advertise seamless membership pauses and easy cancellations but it’s a lie. You have to have a doctor’s note or live over 100 miles away from the club to pause and they will charge an additional monthly fee at cancellation. I was totally scammed and paid unexpected $500 when I found out that my membership couldn’t pause. Needed the pause due to working outside of the state for two months. Be careful!

Update: After two written requests of Club Greenwood to provide a copy of said Member Application, they have not provided it and instead of fulfilling my reasonable request, Club Greenwood responded with two demands to remove my review. Additionally, their manager left me a voicemail stating “it's just unfortunate that you were having communications back-and-forth with our team and just because you weren't getting what you wanted put the review”. Note that what I want is appropriate customer service, financial transparency and a copy of the agreement I allegedly signed agreeing to a term without pauses and the next month’s billing due upon cancellation. This is a reasonable request.

Please note that it has now been six weeks since my first phone call to the Club and attempt at resolution.

I just went to shoot hoops....it's nice. VERY expensive, luxury by my standards. I wanted to buy the lotion they have on every counter but they didn't even know if they were allowed to sell it. Best lotion in the world and I can't have it:( I was just visiting and the ball court had 6 hoops and plenty of balls to choose from, men and women sizes. It's clean and wasn't overly busy but the courts were 80% full. Nice people but definitely much higher class than me. I don't know if one woman was joking or i misheard but she said she bought a $400 lotion/s from the spa....I wasn't like the members but I didn't feel like I didn't belong. It's a friendly environment and didn't feel entitled or judgey, just high quality and luxury. Very friendly spa staff

It’s all in the name—this place is definitely more of a “club” catering to the 40+ demographic and families with young kids. Which, if that’s what you’re looking for, I’m sure it’s great. You can’t go anywhere in the facility without hearing people talking loudly, and older members completely disregard phone zones and you’ll be forced to listen to conversations in the cardio areas, weight floors, etc. Many trainers and gym employees encourage this type of overly-chatty boisterousness, much to the dismay of the more serious athletes.

To add to that, kids run around pretty free and loudly through cardio spaces during the summer and completely take over the women’s locker room. You wind up paying $100/month to be bombarded by noisy obnoxious folks most of the time who don’t adhere to your typical “gym etiquette”. It feels a lot more like social hour.

If you’re a younger person or a serious athlete this is not a place that facilitates focused training. If you are looking for an upscale facility to zone out and focus on your training, you will find much better value elsewhere!!

I have been a member of the club for several months now. Never been a "gym girl" but working with Hunter Faber, especially, is starting to change that. I would never work out as hard as I do if it wasn't for my sessions with Hunter - he pushes my limits and I've seen results because of it. He is very good at food education and posting on his client group so that we learn not only the importance of exercise and form, but nutrition and, in my casem the benefits of a keto diet. I've lost 20 lbs in the last 6 monthbs after not being able to get the scale to move at all while busting my butt on a Peloton. This beautiful gym with its new equipment, beautiful pools, friendly staff and lots of classes in combination with great trainers like Hunter really make the difference.

After 20+ years at Greenwood I finally met with a trainer to set up a strengthening program. Hunter Faber first reached out to me for an introductory session. The second time we met he efficiently set me up with a very doable strengthening routine. Now I just have to do it. I highly recommend Hunter Faber as a personal trainer at Greenwood Athletic Club! He makes it fun and enjoyable to train and he is very motivating and encouraging! If motivation, flexibility, and a personal approach is what your looking for in a PT, then Hunter is the man for you! In addition, he is very familiar with the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Knowing why several exercises target specific muscular fibers is important in creating a mind muscle connection in the gym. This has really helped me achieve my goals. Overall, very pleased with my PT experience with Hunter!

Enough talking about Hunter. Greenwood really needs some upgrades in the weight room: New BARBELLS!!!, deadlift bar jack, cybex hack squat, standing lateral raise machine, better platforms, plate loaded glute bridge machine, modern cable attachment accessories!!!, plate loaded incline rower machine, etc.

The trainers are all well educated in their field........and what is not to Love about Willy . The equipment is always on the leading edge and is very well maintained. I really appreciate the efforts made by the Greenwood management Team to protect its employees while doing everything possible for its members during Covid.

I just love this gym. The people are amazing. The gym is clean. I have never once seen a piece of equipment out of service. During Covid, they have really gone above and beyond to keep everyone (employees and guests) comfortable and safe. I can't recommend Greenwood highly enough. I also read through the negative reviews. I want to respond to to those that posted during Covid. I am a small biz owner and can fully relate to the challenges that Greenwood had and still has. I went through a very difficult time during lockdowns (personally and professionally). I called the business office and explained that I was going through a very tough time. I received the most empathetic and helpful response. I received a prompt response and had several conversations with them over the coming months. I felt like they really cared about me,not just collecting a membership fee. After that, I said I will never go to another gym again. Greenwood is my home away from home and my place where I can relax. It really is the best part of my day.

If you're looking for a gym, look elsewhere. I've been a member for the last year and am happy to be getting out of my contract. I have been verbally assaulted by other members AND staff due to my disabilities, despite my best efforts to remain as out of the way as possible. Having another patron yell and swear at me, only to have Vivian tell me it was justified even though it was a misunderstanding with all of the health policy changes recently was the last straw. There's no justification in this setting for someone to curse at and try to belittle someone else because they want to feel important. Then when I was trying to work through the situation, being told to just "take a breath" because everyone else is stressed is unacceptable. It's the staff mantra...instead of stopping members who are known to be verbally abusive to staff and other patrons, they tell the person on the receiving end to "take a breath". That was repeated again when I went to terminate the contract in the hopes that I'd reconsider, even though the last couple of weeks my medical conditions had become the subject of gossip with employees.

With the changes in the county's health policies on COVID, I was expected to continue paying full price while being limited to the locker room, pool, and two workout rooms that lacked the equipment I needed. Additionally, it was claimed that this discriminatory approach to me as a disabled veteran would require a completely different workout than what I was doing and that I just needed to be satisfied with it. No other option was given. Paula Neubert, the President of Club Greenwood, reiterated to me a number of times that the policies and the Governor's executive order are law. That is not that case as I have worked around Constitutional law for almost 20 years as a federal employee; consider that even in situations like hurricanes, "mandatory orders" from a governor are still ultimately voluntary compliance.

I tried to work with Club Greenwood to find solutions with equal access to the equipment I was paying for. They chose a path of discrimination and ignoring problems in the hope of proving compliance to the state. Meanwhile, Paula had no problem lying to me saying that things like the COVID mask policy were being equally enforced while the teen basketball team practices without them daily (including the coach) as well as the tennis players on the courts. So enforcement is entirely discriminatory based on opinions and whims in the moment, all while expecting those who are disabled to still pay full price. This is despite their refusal to follow the Americans with Disabilities Act which is an actual law.

No EO from any governor or any policy from any local health agency can override Constitutional protections or federal law. Something that Club Greenwood's advisors and leadership fail to understand. It's a toxic environment and not worth your time or money. There are other gyms in the area that aren't so desperate for money to tolerate verbal assault or pursue discriminatory practices, expecting disabled members to play along while ignoring people they favor.

UPDATED 11/24/2020: Paula Neubert is standing by the toxic environment. She claims to have spoken with the other member who was verbally abusive and that his claims are that I said the same if not worse. There were two employees in the room, including Lisa, one of the managers for Club Greenwood. I never once swore at or threatened the other member. Yet that's the behavior she's condoning from him. Then Paula had the nerve to ask for "understanding" for them enforcing illegal and discriminatory policies.

Just as a note, Club Greenwood's own employees go elsewhere for using the gym. Why? Because Club Greenwood will ignore that they're off the clock when they're using the facility and expect them to handle customers and problems even if they aren't being paid. What does that tell you?

So much for Club Greenwood being "the best part of the day". Avoid it and spend your money somewhere that won't treat you like you're just their next paycheck.

Good: Less crowded than a normal gym, awesome locker room (I’m assuming the women’s is nice too), great (and a lot of) classes, friendly staff. I love that you can go to workout at almost anytime and it not be crowded. Adult only pool.

Bad: I feel like they have kids basketball practice here ALOT. I would not be happy if I wanted to hoop, but that’s not for me. Expensive...but that’s why the weight room is not crowded so maybe the price isn’t such a bad thing. No alcohol at pool.

Been a member for 6 months and finally to a point that I'm switching gyms. For a monthly fee of nearly $150, adults never get access to the basketball court after 4 pm on weekdays and the swimming pool only has 1 to 2 lanes available after work because they are catering to kids activities. If you're an adult that wants to use the gym after work don't join this one unless you only plan to use the cardio and weight equipment.

MAKE SURE TO READ BEFORE YOU GIVE THIS MONEY HUNGRY GYM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! Greenwood Athletic Club has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, let me tell you, they only want your money! We had been members for a year (it is a very expensive club to join, you know that going in). All members were given a price increase or the option of holding current rates by paying a year in advance for 2015. We paid the year in advance. However, what was not disclosed was the fact that they would be renovating the men's bathrooms during the year (which is what my husband loves about going to the gym, relaxing in the locker rooms, taking a nice steam and whirlpool after a long day and workout). The re-model has now been going on for 3+ months. Needless to say my husband's experience has completely changed and he is very upset. They send out surveys as the claim "their member experience is very important to them". However, when we gave a negative review as to his complaint that he hasn't used the club as much because what he likes the most has been unavailable. The response was merely, we're sorry, nothing we can do. Our hands our tied and the re-model was much needed. Since we paid a year in advance we didn't have the option of going down to a single membership for me and putting his on hold until the re-model was finished as others did and took advantage of. So we asked, okay, since we paid a year in advance, could you give us a credit for what we would have gotten going down to a single membership. Once again, nope, we can't do that. If we offered that to you then we'd have to offer to all our members and anyway you got a discount when you signed up for a year (back when they didn't disclose the plans). But they did offer us a "gift" to show us how much they appreciate our membership. The "gift" turned out to be 10 Guest Passes. Yes, that's right. They offered us something that literally has no value to us, the actual member. But they would like us to refer people to their gym by offering them the opportunity to experience it as a guest. You can bet that will never happen. Seriously. I was floored. So then I said, okay, it's clear that this isn't the gym for us. Since we can't come to a resolution, we'd like to end our membership immediately (we have 2 months left in the year). Can you please refund the last 2 months. Wait for it....nope, they cannot do that as all year long contracts are non-cancelable and non-transferrable. Huge surprise. So basically they are willing to do absolutely nothing in regards to resolving our complaint. And quite frankly, if they had done anything at all that was relevant and valuable to us, we would have been members forever. But I'm a firm believer in not supporting a business that doesn't take care of their customers first. And I don't believe you should support a business like this either.
