It was a beautiful sight to attend my wife's hooding ceremony at Colorado Christian University CCU. I was so proud to see her walk across the stage. She worked hard to obtain her second Masters. She deserves to rejoice in her accomplishments. The area was peaceful and full of happiness. Shout out to my wife Danielle Marshall.

This place is amazing. Not so much the building but the people and the programs they offer and their commitment to excellence in everything.

We attended the Cory Asbury concert at their college. Everyone was friendly and we had a great time.

To the lady that grabbed my shoulder and turned me around with force after I had swiped out of chapel today, and demanded that I swipe out; then didn’t believe that I did and asked someone else before letting go of me, I have a few questions:

1) Why on earth would you just assume I’m in the wrong for leaving?
2) Why do you automatically assume I’m trying to sneak out while I blatantly scanned out, making the whole screen glow red, and then walked through the front door?
3) What on earth makes you think that it’s so important to scan out that you give yourself the right to physically intervene? Even in cases of theft at stores employees are explicitly told that’s not allowed, safe, or appropriate.
4) Because of behavior like yours that has been exhibited by the rest of this school, I’ve already set in motion the steps I need to drop out from this awful place escaping is a whole fight on its own) and so chapel credits aren’t important to me at all. I was there to visit a friend for a moment. So given that information, which you had no way of knowing but should’ve been able to assume any one other possibility (serious emergency, already finished all my credits, etc.) what makes you jump to the idea that I care enough to cheat chapel credits anyway?

You work for a horrible, socially unhealthy, organization, herding students into a massive and over-emphasized twice weekly event, using inappropriate physical intervention to enforce rules on behalf of an incredibly low authority who has tricked you into praising them.

Please refrain from ever touching me or another student again. Chapel credits aren’t that valuable, and I’m a free human who can decide not to attend if I wish, not a prisoner.

I don’t need multiple guards at every exit willing to use force to uphold the standard. I’m perfectly capable of tapping a card to a plastic scanner on my own, and if I wasn’t or actually chose to sneak out anyway; that’s a personal problem that would be at my own loss (assuming chapel was beneficial enough to not need to threaten students with not graduating and physical force to get attendance anyway), not at the loss of the school.

Multipurpose Center could be another name for this place. It serves as a gym for different sporting events and, when carpet squares are laid and the stage is set up, it serves as an events center.

Even though it looks like a barn, it is a good place to watch CCU sports.

Event center. What a joke. It is a gymnasium. Call it what it is. See my other review on CCU's google maps for my thoughts on the institution as a whole.
