I've been attending the JKD and kettlebell classes for about 3 months now. I'm honestly surprised that there aren't more reviews; Brian is an outstanding instructor! The environment he creates is respectful and fun. Everyone wants to help each other get better. Whether it comes to combat situations, body mechanics, or the issues that could be causing your body pain, Brian is exceptional at describing the "why" you do a drill a certain way or the possible underlying reasons something might ache and the exercises that will likely help improve the pain. Really can't recommend enough!

I finally made an appointment with Brian after two long years of excruciating back pain, emergency room visits and doctor consults that lead to no help. There are no words to express my gratefulness for his expertise! He is excellent at listening to you, targeting the problem and giving great techniques to minimizing or eliminating pain. In addition, he helps in retraining your brain and strengthening the areas that have become weak. I finally feel back to normal, pain free and excited to participate in all the activities that I love!
**Thank you, thank you Brian, for you are an answer to prayer!

What can I say, God works in mysterious ways! I started taking self defense with Brian in December. I shortly thereafter started with the fitness, I’m glad I did. I have screws and rods in my back, and sound like Rice Krispies in the morning, lol, but I started training anyway. My mobility, strength, coordination, balance, power, are all improving. Not to mention I’m looking a little bit better too, not a bad side effect. This is proving to be life changing, I’m so glad I joined. If you have a desire for any of the things I mentioned above, please come here. The best part is it’s helping my pain!!! If you hurt, please come here. Now I’m just trying to get muscle and lose fat, and I am! Y’all come see us and get pumped!

My husband and I have only been going to Brian's Kettlebell Fitness Small Group Training for a short while. We hadn't picked up a kettlebell before so we were beginners. So far, we're really enjoying it and feel that we're learning a lot. Brian's instruction helps you feel confident and capable, even as a newbie. He takes care to ensure that we're doing the movements correctly to avoid injury and build strength. He's even helping us with some pre-existing issues, like my heel pain. We're looking forward to continuing the training and seeing where it takes us!

I worked with Brian a couple years ago (kettlebells and fitness) and had made great progress towards fitness goals but retired and moved out of the area. I lost track of the path we had created for my well being for a variety of reasons and eventually had gained back 30lbs. 500 days ago I began to again follow his training approach and have found that path again. I started by just simply tracking food intake, not denying myself much except quantity. During the first 150 days I went from 251 pounds to 223lbs. I felt much better but knew I needed a more balanced approach. I added kettlebell workouts and gradually progressed up to 45-50 minute sessions 3 times per week. About 12 exercises and 500 reps total. Even some z-health along the way. Brian’s words and training guidance came back almost immediately. The progress has been amazing. At 58, I am now at 198lbs and feel fantastic. Balance, strength, energy, sleep, sharpness all greatly improved. My blood triglycerides fell from 224 to 115 after I added the exercise component to my training. My Doctor really was at a loss for words when I saw him last month. Brian has a common sense realistic approach to fitness training. He is incredibly knowledgeable and you will learn to love the kettlebells! I truthfully do not think there is a better all around workout for a senior person ( Now that I am one) then properly executed kettlebell sessions; strength, balance, mobility and cardio all in one package. Brian provides you with tools that you can use for a lifetime. His guidance and encouragement will provide you with motivation to stay the course.

Brian was an excellent z-trainer with lots of helpful information. I had gone to him for various joint and muscle ailments, for which I began to feel some relief during the first session. I would highly recommend seeing Brian if you want to learn exercises that will improve your body's pain and range of motion.

Brian’s expertise has helped me tremendously throughout our multiple sessions together! Prior to seeing Brian, I was having issues with poor posture, ankle weakness, as well as sporadic leg numbness due to an old injury.
He was able to target the multiple areas of weakness and teach me exercises to strengthen and improve mobility. These exercises have helped me so much within the past few months that even my husband has noticed a visible improvement in my posture! I barely have any leg numbness issues and I am on track to having strong ankles ready for any hiking trail!
My husband, who has a shoulder injury, is currently in the process of setting up his first appointment as well. I cannot recommend Brian enough! Thank you again for all of your help and hard work.

I trained with Brian in Kettlebells and Martial Arts for several years, and it completely transformed the way I approach health, fitness, and life. Brian is an innovator and a pioneer in the field, and his training methodology is next-level. It is rare if not impossible today to find this level of quality and value.

I've been going to Brian Copeland's Core Fitness for over a year now. Not only have I lost nearly 40 pounds, for the first time in three decades I have normal triglyceride levels. What makes Brian's process unique is he takes the time to find exercises that you enjoy that still work towards meeting your goals. He also uses his Z health expertise to help you with numerous ways. Will you not only use the health exercises to prevent injuries. We use them to treat old injuries. Brian show me an exercise call the nerve glide that help release a nerve in my ankle that was being pressured by scar tissue. Result is I no longer have left ankle pain that prevents me from walking and climbing stairs. Brian really cares about the individual and I give his private and semi private instructions top marks.

Awesome instructor. The gym was clean and orderly. The classmates were helpful and supportive. I highly recommend that you check out his JKD classes as they are the most rationale and realistic martial arts classes I have been to yet. Excellent work.
